Pink Siifu Releases “GOT FOOD AT THE CRIB’!” To Bandcamp, But It’s Not What You Would Expect

Underground and experimental rapper Pink Siifu has always been trying out unique techniques to deliver music that is truly separate from the rest of the genre. The Alabama born and Cincinnati-raised MC has been doing well for himself since 2017 operating in this manner. The last project we heard from him dropped back on Halloween in 2023 called IT’S TOO QUIET..’!! Now, Pink Siifu is returning with a new album called GOT FOOD AT THE CRIB’! with an exclusive release to Bandcamp.

However, this is not your traditional album. What do we mean by that? Well, Pink Siifu decided to ditch the tracklist and essentially give fans 22 minutes of continuous music. It is basically up to the listener to decipher where a track stops and starts, making for a more engaging listening experience.

Siifu is not just doing this once either. On his Instagram, he revealed that there will be another volume coming in the near future, possibly this year. Part of the reason he might have gone in this direction could be based on this statement he posted on his account recently. “ALL THESE NXGGAS NEED BETTA HELP CRAFTING THEY ALBUMS’!! GOT THA WHOLE WORLD TO HELP THEM MAKE SOME S*** WE DOIN W THA SAME 4-7 NXGGAS’!! WE THA NXGGAS YALL FAVS WANNA BE’!!”

What are your thoughts on Pink Siifu dropping GOT FOOD AT THE CRIB’! on Bandcamp and in this format? What portion of the album did you enjoy the most and why? Is Pink of the best experimental rappers we have in the genre right now, why or why not? Does this get you excited for the next installment coming soon? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Pink Siifu. Freddie Gibbs And Madlib Are Going On A Mini-Tour For The Tenth Anniversary Of ‘Piñata’

10 years ago, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib teamed up for the release of their pivotal joint album Piñata, a project that changed the trajectory of Gibbs’ career and returned Madlib to the mainstream rap spotlight. Since its release, Gibbs has gone on a truly breathtaking run culminating in the release of his first major-label album, while Madlib has been a hotly demanded producer by seemingly everyone from Mac Miller to Talib Kweli to Pusha T. And, of course, “MadGibbs” teamed up once again for the Piñata sequel Bandana, proving the prior album’s success was no fluke.

Now, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the game-changing album, Gibbs and ‘Lib have announced a minor tour to celebrate. They’ll hit three cities — Boston, Chicago, and New York — in May, backed by El Michels Affair, the hip-hop band that most recently collaborated with Black Thought on his Glorious Game LP and played backing music for Gibbs and Madlib’s NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert. Openers will include Eyedress and Pink Siifu

The presale for the three shows begins Tuesday (January 23) at 10:00 am local time, while the general sale starts Friday (January 26) at 10:00 am.

Valee And MVW Tease Their Forthcoming LP With “Créme De La Créme” Featuring Pink Siifu

Chicago rapper Valee and producer MVW are gearing up for the release of their collaboration project next week. They are doing so by giving their fans and hungry listeners a sweet treat, “Créme de la Créme.” It is one of a few singles that will land on their album VALEEDATION, according to Fader. Valee and MVW got the ball rolling on this tape back on March 31 with “Yo Yo” featuring Tony Shhnow.” After that, we got a handful of other teasers. “Could Be,” “Pistachio,” featuring Zelooperz, “Tailor Swift” (hilarious title), and now “Créme de la Créme.”

It has been a busy year for Valee as just a few months ago he teamed with another great producer, Harry Fraud. Virtuoso (not really appropriately titled) did feature a lot of talent. Action Bronson, Saba, MAVI, and more landed on it. However, Valee got a little too repetitive and it soured the listen fairly quickly.

So, hopefully, with this new listen, there will be improvements. VALEEDATION is expected to be out on October 20. In the meantime, we have this one last single. It features the effervescent artist Pink Siifu. It is a dark, moody, and spacious beat that each rapper performs well on.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single from Valee and MVW, “Créme de la Créme,” featuring Pink Siifu? Is this best teaser track from Valee and MVW’s upcoming album? Have these past couple of songs have you hyped for the release of the project? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Valee, MVW, Pink Siifu, as well as all of the hottest song drops.
