Tyler, The Creator Clears Up “Daughter” Line On New Single

Fans went absolutely ballistic on social media following Tyler, The Creator’s newest surprise single “DOGTOOTH,” particularly a line about him having a daughter. “If you don’t know my daughter name, then we ain’t really [dawgs],” the “IFHY” star raps near the end of the song. Of course, many took this as a straight-up revelation, and social media exploded with their takes on it. “Wait did Tyler just reveal he has a daughter #or is he just rappin?” one user wrote. Furthermore, it seems like he caught on to speculation quick, as he took to Twitter to respond to these fan theories and clear the air.

“I dont have kids and dont plan on it hahaha,” he wrote about a half hour after the song debuted. With that, it seems like T was just rapping and talking his smack over a gorgeous instrumental as he often does. Meanwhile, most of the discussion online unsurprisingly revolved around love for this new track and excitement for his upcoming CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale, which is an expanded version of his acclaimed 2021 Gangsta Grillz-style tape with DJ Drama with songs that didn’t make the final cut.

Tyler, The Creator Doesn’t Have A Daughter, Or Plans To Have Kids

In other Tyler-related news, both fans and fellow artists alike are huge fans of his style, creativity, and musical output. For example, Lil Yachty recently said that the 32-year-old was the one who inspired him to make his latest album Let’s Start Here. Not only that, but he also expressed a strong desire to make a collab album with him one day. Considering Yachty’s own skills in a breadth of musical styles and genres, both their artistic visions could mesh incredibly well.

Meanwhile, one of the greatest artists of our generation will appear in Hulu’s “RapCaviar Presents” series alongside the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Coi Leray, Polo G, and many more. In a trailer for the series, which premieres on March 30, he revealed some crucial advice that Pharrell gave him. “Make something undeniable and make it equally as infectious,” the Neptunes producer told him. “Why are you doing music? Is it because you just want to look cool? Because that will burn out. When it becomes purpose-oriented, it can be as cool as the flashy s**t, but it will be much more meaningful.” Then, Tyler thought, “Oh, f**k. No more being silly. Music first. At that moment, we went home, and I just wanted to change everything. I just wanted to switch. And the switch f***ing happened.” With that in mind, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates from Tyler, The Creator and his upcoming project.

Travis Scott Lets Kevin Durant Know That His Album “Utopia” Will Be “F***ing Insane”

Kevin Durant is one of many fans waiting patiently for Travis Scott’s next album, the highly anticipated UTOPIA. Moreover, he recently revealed during the latest episode of podcast The ETCs with Kevin Durant that Travis actually spoke to him about it. According to La Flame, UTOPIA might rank as one of his best projects yet, although we know very little about it. In fact, Travis moved with such secrecy and mystery regarding UTOPIA that even a star basketball player is finding access a bit difficult. Regardless, Durant said that he’s still trying to hear some snippets ahead of its launch.

“I didn’t hear it, and I want to ask for some songs,” the 34-year-old expressed. “But I know for a fact he won’t send them, so I might have to catch him in the studio one of these days before it comes out, but he’s telling me that it’s f***ing insane.” Of course, the “Road to UTOPIA” has been long, arduous, convoluted, and rarely updated until recent reports. Still, it remains one of the most anticipated projects of the year.

Kevin Durant On Travis Scott’s UTOPIA: “He’s Telling Me That It’s F***ing Insane”

Unfortunately, the rollout for this new album was cut short when ten people tragically lost their lives at the Astroworld Festival in 2021. Before that, the “goosebumps” rapper teased the project only through mentioning its name, whose futuristic allure got fans excited. Back in August of 2022, after many months of restraint, the artist announced a one-week residency at a Vegas nightclub. However, now things look much clearer, as Travis and other sources hinted towards the album’s soon-to-come drop.

“We have a new Travis Scott record, expected to come in June,” Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone said during an acceptance speech at Billboard‘s Women In Music event this year. Meanwhile, Scott outlined upcoming releases from his Cactus Jack camp, which could actually push UTOPIA back depending on how those prior releases go. “Sheck Wes, You Know The Scouts is on the way, we got Faygo about to put out a lil EP that’s on the way,” he said during an NBA All-Star Weekend event this year. “And right after that, UTOPIA. So we came here with that message and I can’t wait for these motherf***ers to drop this s**t.” Let us know if you’re looking forward to UTOPIA in the comments and come back to HNHH for the latest on Travis Scott and Kevin Durant.

Lil Pump Announces “Lil Pump 2,” Tracklist Features YoungBoy, Ty Dolla $ign & More

One of the most polarizing hip-hop artists of the past decade is back and perhaps better than ever. Lil Pump just announced Lil Pump 2, the direct sequel to his breakout self-titled mixtape. While the feature list is quite scant, there are still a few notable names that caught fans’ attention upon seeing the tracklist on social media. For example, there are some usual suspects, like frequent collaborator Smokepurpp and known feature killer Ty Dolla $ign. However, some less familiar names for some, Rio Da Yung OG and C4 Boyz, will also appear on the project. What’s more is that Pump snagged a feature from YoungBoy, which should make for quite the interesting cut.

Of course, this news comes with the context of the Florida rapper’s often panned artistry. Still, there are a lot of people out there that stand by the visceral, raw, and legitimately experimental approach on Pump’s debut mixtape. Even though he fell off afterwards for many fans, the impact of songs like “Gucci Gang” and “Boss” still ring to this day. For better or worse, the 22-year-old is one of the definitive artists of the “SoundCloud era” of rap in the mid-2010s.

Lil Pump 2: Cover Art, Tracklist & Features

With all that said, the “D Rose” hitmaker is in a completely different phase of his career, at least on paper. While he’s continued to try to make it big with the same sound, his charismatic personality keep him on media cycles and headlines. For what it’s worth, he also worked quite hard to turn his life around in a few aspects and find more fulfillment than pissing old heads off. For example, he recently showed off his body transformation and confessed that hitting the gym is his new addiction.

Meanwhile, Lil Pump 2 will drop on March 17th with 16 songs, and the artist shared the cover art for it as well. Whether you’re looking forward to it or not, it should make for an interesting moment in hip-hop this year. Will lightning strike twice with an energetic and raw project or is Pump’s time in the sun truly over? Let us know your predictions and return to HNHH for the latest updates on Lil Pump.

Everything About T-Pain’s Upcoming ‘On Top Of The Cover’s Album

When the word auto-tuned is said out loud, there should be one name you think of immediately. The man who is the staple of the auto-tune and paved the way for others using it as well. That man is no other than T-Pain

Faheem Rashad Najm, most famously known as T-Pain, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has produced some of the most well-known club songs and has a recognizable voice. However, after three years, he is dropping an album.

T-Pain Album Timeline

The big-time artist was constantly in the studio during the mid-2000s and early 2010s. Further on, he dropped three studio albums between 2005-2008 and took a short break to return in 2011.

That was the last solo album he released until 2014, when he made a compilation album. Between then, only a little new music was heard from T-Pain until 2017. After that, he made a shocking return with the album “Oblivion,” then released one more studio album and a compilation in 2019 and 2020.

In the meantime, T-Pain has been busy behind the scenes with music. During his break, he can be seen making music and reviewing other artists on the popular streaming website Twitch. Additionally, he replaced Dj Khaled as a judge on the show “Go-Big Show.”

Announcement From T-Pain

On February 15, 2023, T-Pain took to Instagram and shared a picture of the album, quoting, “You’ve been asking for it, and here ya go, bro. A T-Pain cover album to end all cover albums…..”

“On Top Of The Covers” will be the name of this album which will be forthcoming on Friday, March 17. The long-awaited album has been in the works for four years, and the recording started after he was the winner of the hit tv show “The Masked Singer.”

On the website Rap-Up, T-Pain had this to say about the upcoming album, “This covers album has been years in the making,” said T-Pain. “I started recording this right after I won ‘The Masked Singer.’ “These songs are not what you’d expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album, and that is what I think is cool about it.”

On Top Of The Covers

The album will be a different listen than what most fans commonly expect. Instead of the usual mix of auto-tune, this album will showcase his authentic voice and natural talent. In addition, this album will consist of covers of popular songs, and the thought of T-Pain using his natural voice on this album will be music to our ears.

Down below is the tracklist for the seven songs.

1. “A Change Is Gonna Come

2. “Don’t Stop Believin‘”

3. “Sharing The Night Together

4. “Stay With Me

5. “Tennessee Whiskey

6. “That’s Life” feat. NandoSTL

7. “War Pigs

Tracklist

The first song on the list will be “A Change Is Gonna Come,” The song was initially released on December 22, 1964, by Sam Cooke. Therefore, this is the oldest song on the tracklist.

The second song on the list is Journey’s most famous song, “Don’t Stop Believin.” The song was released on October 19, 1981.

Next up on the list comes “Sharing The Night Together.” Released on September 27, 1978, by Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show.

Followed by the song “Stay With Me.” A popular song by Sam Smith was released on April 14, 2014.

A more recent song from the list would be “Tennessee Whiskey.” Even though it has had multiple renditions, T-Pain will use the Chris Stapleton version. This version of the song was released in the year 2015.

Then we have the song “That’s Life.” This song is the only one to have a feature incorporated into the album. Frank Sinatra was the original voice of this song, which was released on November 18, 1966.

Lastly, we have the song “War Pigs.” English heavy metal band Black Sabbath was the original performer. Releasing the song in the year 1970.

A T-Pain Performance

Additionally, with the release, T-Pain will also be holding two performances. The shows will be taking place in Los Angeles at The Sun Rose. They will occur on March 17 & 18, two days after the official release.

Tickets to the event will be going on sale Friday, February 17, at 1:00 pm ET. They will be available on T-Pain’s website; it is definitely a concert you want to attend.

Possibility

The delay on the album was because T-Pain was under contract with a label. As soon as he went independent, he knew this was the moment for the album to drop finally.

T-Pain had this to say about the delays, “It got put on hold for a bit, but now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment, and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time.”

With the talent that T-Pain possesses, we expect nothing but positive reviews. Additionally, his natural talent with his signing can make this a worthwhile listen.

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA’s Collab Album Gets Release Date

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA’s upcoming collab album just got a leaked release date of March 24th. According to online discussion and alleged leaks, they’ll drop two new singles for the project on March 13th and 21st, respectively. Of course, a lot of these rumors come from leaks and not directly from the artists, so take them with a grain of salt. Still, there is a lot we do know about the album that Peggy and Danny confirmed previously. For example, they teased “Lean Beef Patty” as the first single, the album is completed, and yes, that is the legit title.

Following these teases on The Danny Brown Show (plus a killer snippet), some new information spread on Twitter this week. Not only did those release dates seemingly leak, but we have a tracklist and cover art to inspect. Some standouts from the tracklist are “Steppa Pig,” “Shut Yo B***h A** Up / Muddy Waters,” and “Jack Harlow Combo Meal.” Again, take these titles as truth with caution, but they sound quite in line with their sense of humor. After all, one of Peggy’s most well-known songs is “Jesus Forgive Me, I Am A Thot.”

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA’s Collab Album Is Coming Soon

Even though many of these details are still online speculation, fans know that this project will bring some absolute heat. Moreover, both artists will apparently drop three album each this year, including their collab. On his end, Peggy’s already expressed that he’s in solo album mode after finishing Scaring The H*es. On the other hand, Danny’s found incredible success through his extracurricular endeavors: shows, streaming, podcasts, you name it. Still, don’t get it twisted: he remains one of the hardest rappers working today.

If you’ve never gotten into either artist, this outing might actually be a great place to start. They both bring incredibly raw energy and a strong charisma, and mix chronic Internet use with grimy hip-hop. While these incredible MCs seem ready to take on the world, there’s no way we’re ready for what they crafted. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA.

Scaring The H*es Vol. 1 Gets Release Date

Denzel Curry Reveals Upcoming Project Will Be A Collab Album

Denzel Curry just took to Twitter to tease that his next project will be a collab album, which should get fans rabid for more information. Moreover, the Miami rapper addressed previous hints that his next album would be Designed By Angels. According to Curry, his next album will no longer be that, but rather a collaborative effort titled ULT Or Die. While he didn’t say when or with who this album would be releasing, he did give fans a mission. After teasing them, he asked fans to bring his song “Walkin” past 60 million streams on Spotify, and if they do, he’ll spill the beans.

“AT THIS POINT RIGHT NOW DESIGNED BY ANGELS WILL NOT BE THE NEXT ALBUM,” he tweeted early Friday morning (March 10). “THE COLLAB TAPE WILL BE THE NEXT THING THAT DROPS BUT I DONT KNOW WHEN. IT MIGHT IN A YEAR IT MIGHT BE TONIGHT WHO KNOWS. ULT OR DIE COLLAB TAPE COMING SOON WITH… NONE OF YO GAWTDAMN BUSINESS. GET THIS PAST 60 MILLION AND ILL LET YOU HEAR WHAT IM WORKING ON.

Denzel Curry Teases Collab Album

Of course, it’s not like the “CLOUT COBAIN” MC has stayed completely silent since last year’s excellent Melt My Eyez See Your Future. Not only did he release an expanded edition of the album with soulful and jazzy live instrumentation, but he’s been on quite the feature run. His most recent venture was assisting midwxst’s “Tally,” which showed him on his typical cold, smooth flows. As one of the most consistently impressive artists working today, anything he drops is a treat for hip-hop fans.

Still, that doesn’t mean that he should be complacent with the success and acclaim he’s already experienced and received. Moreover, he expressed disappointment in the Grammy nominations in rap categories this year. Not only did they miss out on his album, but also the greatness of JID, Freddie Gibbs, and many more. Even though the Recording Academy might not give these leaders their flowers, they’re referred to as leaders for a reason. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Denzel Curry.

Metro Boomin Confirms 2023 Release Date For Future Collab Album

Few hip-hop producers today- or ever, for that matter- are able to reach the self-made artistic dominance of Young Metro. He may only have a few solo projects to his name, but he indelibly shaped so many projects from this era. From producing hot singles to helping behind the scenes to, most famously, his joint projects, Metro’s done it all. In fact, Metro Boomin recently said that his upcoming collab album with Future will release in 2023. Of course, they already teased this before, but to hear further confirmation is always exciting, especially from these two longtime collaborators that still recently put out some of their best work.

FLAUNT magazine recently debuted a cover story with the producer on Monday (March 6), shortly after his second No. 1 album HEROES & VILLAINS. During said interview, he spoke on performing with Future for his One Big Party tour stop in Atlanta. “Oh, that was fire,” he shared. “You know, Pluto, that’s my brother. We’ve been at it for a long time. This whole superhero moment, it’s like the beginning of our phase two. We haven’t had a song out since ‘Mask Off,’ they’ve been on our heads. With this, and then the whole State Farm thing, it’s starting to slowly put people on notice: we crankin’ that s**t back up too.”

Metro Boomin & Future’s Collab Album Set With 2023 Release Date

Later on, he said that their upcoming full-length team-up will most likely come out this year. “Definitely,” he expressed, “I would bet on it. I would definitely bet on it.” Previously, he called the project the “album of the year” in an Apple Music interview. “Let me tell you why,” the 29-year-old went on. “[Future] actually finished most of the album at my studio in L.A. That’s my brother, but we’re working on some things. At first, we were going to put a couple of songs with me and him on the album, but we had took them off because I had talked to him.”

Meanwhile, the star producer recently landed some other huge wins. For example, he sold a chunk of publishing rights to his catalog for $70 million on Tuesday (March 7). With his continuing to release new music, hopefully that means he’ll have more direct control of what he decides to put out, at least for now. Usually these deals have some odd implications for artists, but for Metro, it’s just him knowing what he’s worth and that the best is yet to come. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Metro Boomin.

Benny The Butcher & Hit-Boy Preview Upcoming Collab

One of the most anticipated upcoming projects in hip-hop is taking form in spectacular fashion. Benny The Butcher & Hit-Boy just previewed new music as fans await their collaborative album, Everybody Can’t Go. Recently, the Griselda MC made the announcement shortly after this year’s Grammys ceremony. “Sometimes the experience of the journey is a better feeling than reaching the destination,” he wrote on an Instagram post. “You won’t ever kno unless u make it there…but remember ‘EVERYBODY CAN’T GO’ The Album produced by @hitboy…Loading.” Along with social media teases with them in the studio, this got fans geared up for another masterwork from these two.

Moreover, both artists collaborated on Benny’s 2020 full-length Burden Of Proof, which received much praise from fans and critics alike. In fact, that was the year a lot of Griselda’s roster saw the full mainstream recognition they deserved for several years. Still, hip-hop head tuned into today’s game recognize the Butcher as one of the top dogs right now. In this latest tease, he delivered boastful and confident lines that ooze success and a hard-fought journey. However, don’t let his elevated status distract you from his consistently vivid bars, clever wordplay, and dedication to what he came from.

Benny The Butcher & Hit-Boy Preview Their Next Move

On the other hand, Hit-Boy became one of hip-hop’s most in-demand producers through a similarly no-filler mentality. After providing production credits to some of the biggest names in the game like Kendrick Lamar, people recognized his vision went farther than beat-by-beat confidence. Most recently, he and Nas shook the industry with an incredible four-album run, with a fifth on the way. In his Instagram clip, you can hear how the crisp brass samples and boom-bap beat paint a vivid soundscape for Benny to flow with ease on.

“I rather people tell me i changed than say I’m broke,” the producer captioned his post. Both artists experienced astounding but winding paths to where they are now, and it hasn’t lessened their drive. What’s more is that hip-hop figures like DJ Drama, Jermaine Dupri, and CyHi gave praise for the team-up in the comments. With both fans and industry titans expecting greatness from Everybody Can’t Go, this duo’s showing them that there’ll be nothing but met expectations. As always, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates from Benny The Butcher and Hit-Boy.

Daniel Caesar Announces Release Date For Upcoming Album “Never Enough”

Earlier this month, Daniel Caesar announced his long-awaited third studio album, Never Enough. Having teased the project since its initial confirmation, Caesar finally took to Instagram today (February 28) to reveal the drop date. The post, which highlighted April 7th, 2023 as the day when Never Enough will be streamable, was accompanied by the caption, “ready?” Having been spotty with releases since his 2019 album, Case Study 01, fans of the 27-year-old immediately flooded his comment section in anticipation of this upcoming 15-track work.

As part of the promotion for Never Enough, Caesar gave fans a taste of what he’s been brewing up in the studio recently with the releases of Do You Like Me? and Let Me Go. The former dropped first on January 27th, and depicts what the singer describes as the “90 degrees of a love triangle.” He explained the inspiration for the soft ballad further on Instagram, writing “[it’s] a song about a woman I respect deeply.” His second teaser song, which dropped on February 10th, carries a slightly more upbeat tone while still maintaining Caesar’s vulnerable and romantic essence.

Caesar’s “Never Enough” Drops On April 7th

Just from the two-song preview, Never Enough seems to still boast Caesar’s distinguishable style, but with a continuation of experimentation and added flare. In a 2022 interview with HypeBeast, the Canadian reflected on the shifts in his musical influences and genre tastes. “I’m kind of dipping into all the other influences, all of the music that I listened to growing up,” he told the publication. “I’ve always tried to take all my influences and put them in a pot and stir them up and see what happens.” Ultimately, Caesar noted his distaste for being labeled.

As the release of his first studio project with Republic Records remains more than five weeks away, Caesar continues to promote Never Enough on his socials with the album’s royal blue branding. Excited fans have expressed their anticipation for the upcoming release in his comments section. In response to his initial question, one user answered, “u know damn well we are ready.” Be sure to keep up with HNHH for more news on the release of Never Enough.

Lil Tjay Teases Upcoming Album: “Putting My All Into This”

Lil Tjay has experienced a lifetime of ups and downs since his last studio album. Last June, he was shot seven times during an attempted robbery. After being taken to the hospital and eventually recovering, Tjay did all he could to get back on his feet. He soon released a diss track to his shooters titled “FACESHOT,” inspired by 50 Cent’s “Many Men.” He also recorded and dropped a song from his hospital bed titled “Beat the Odds.” In the past couple of months, he not only dropped another single in November titled “Give You What You Want,” but also featured on a groundbreaking song with one of the hottest artists in the genre.

“Gangsta Boo” off Ice Spice’s recent January EP saw Tjay and Spice crack the Billboard Hot 100 with the sensational collaboration. However, the release of this track came just days after Tjay was arrested for gun possession in New York. In fact, he was stopped and detained while on the way to the music video shoot for “Gangsta Boo.” Still battling these legal troubles, Tjay currently hopes to instead focus on his upcoming full-length solo project.

Lil Tjay’s Instagram Story

On Tuesday (Feb. 28), Tjay posted an Instagram story referencing his impending studio album. “Putting my all into this album this gon be my best one yet,” he wrote. “When I step better show me my respect ima vet.” Currently untitled and without a release date, Tjay evidently wants to gain more respect with this forthcoming LP.

He continued by making sure people don’t switch up after he drops the project. “Don’t try spin the block. I don’t wanna hear about regrets, bout some sh*t u knew u was wrong about but ain’t address. Thinking I was cold? but u bold!” he wrote. “It’s just been too long respectfully im rii back on the necks.” Tjay’s last studio album came with 2021’s Destined 2 Win. In April 2022, his freestyle “Lavish” was meant to be a teaser for a soon-to-come mixtape. But, understandably, his shooting likely derailed any rollout plans he had. Now, looking forward to his third studio album, it will be interesting to see what Tjay brings to the table.
