Sauce Walka Arrested After Police Chase, Crashed Car At 130 Miles Per Hour

A few months after his macing drama with Charleston White, Sauce Walka found himself in more trouble. Moreover, authorities arrested him after a high-speed, two-mile police chase, according to FOX 26 Houston, who reportedly obtained legal documents pertaining to this situation. Apparently, the rapper went 130 miles per hour and eventually crashed his car, thus ending the chase, the reasons for which are still unknown as of writing this article. Following this incident early Wednesday morning (December 6), he received charges of evading arrest or detention relating to a motor vehicle, watercraft, or tire deflation device. If the schedules resumes as planned, Albert Walker Mondane will appear in court on Friday (December 8).

Furthermore, we also don’t know whether he sustained any injuries or got medical assistance yet. Given the early nature of this report, we have few guesses as to whether the DAT BOY DEN MC will hold himself accountable for this or if things will turn more complicated. After all, he could fight against this arrest in court, but it seems like there is already some worrisome precedent that could make this tougher for him. Regardless, from what Sauce Walka’s Instagram Story suggests, it seems like he’s doing well.

Shortly after this arrest occurred, a video emerged on the social media platform, showing him speaking to one of his The Sauce Factory artists in a jail call. “I want to tell all my fans that I appreciate y’all for your care and concern,” Sauce Walka remarked. “I’m good, I’m straight. I made it through a catastrophic accident and the Super Saiyan that I am, I’m still here, I’m good, I’m healthy and will continue to be wealthy. Right now, I’m incarcerated but I should be getting out soon. I’ma drop a video for y’all ’cause I know y’all miss me. And I’ve been working hard so I’ve got some more work I’ma drop for y’all.”

Meanwhile, back in March, the 33-year-old was reportedly arrested on drug charges. It seems like he dodged these accusations, but it might make this and future court battles that much tougher. With that in mind, all we can do is wait and see whether it will come up again in this narrative. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Sauce Walka.

Drake’s Houston Strip Club Visit Marks His First Day As A City Resident

Drake had a massive 2023, but one of the big changes in his personal life overshadows much of his music success. Moreover, he recently bought a property in Houston, Texas, meaning that he can officially call H-Town his second home outside of Toronto, Canada. Apparently, this weekend marked the 6ix God’s first day as a resident; perhaps the official start of his ownership, or a move-in date? Regardless, we know one thing for sure: he was in the city looking for a good time. Furthermore, Drizzy hit up a strip club in the area to celebrate, and though we can’t see much, we’d imagine that he succeeded in finding one.

However, this isn’t the only exciting thing that Drake accomplished when it comes to his real estate or U.S. metropolis exploits. For example, he and his team will revive an old Hamburg theme park, Luna Luna, as an immersive art experience in Los Angeles. This will feature plenty of amazing artists, including giants like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Salvador Dalí, Keith Haring, and many more. It’s one of the more creative extracurriculars we’ve seen in hip-hop in recent memory, so we’re very excited to see what it’s like as it opens up to the public in December.

Drake Hits Up Houston Strip Club: Watch

As the year dies down, with this art theme park closing it out, Drake has a lot of success and accolades to look back on this year. Spotify users streamed him over 11 billion times in 2023, which is a wild metric that very few other artists– regardless of genre– can also claim. In addition, the 37-year-old found just as much critical acclaim throughout the year thanks to standout tracks like “8AM In Charlotte” that developed his artistry. If you’re a rap fan and you like his music, there’s a big chance you like Scary Hours 3 to some degree.

Meanwhile, the “Wick Man” MC also got his respect from some of his fellow leaders in the hip-hop game. “To inspire my peers is everything,” Westside Gunn told us in our latest cover story. “It’s respect, you know what I’m sayin’? I like when someone’s confident enough to give somebody their flowers. Like I said, Tyler don’t have to do that ever again. He already did that. Drake don’t have to do it again, he did it. I’m gonna always respect both of them for doing that.” Read more about that in the link below and, for more news and the latest updates on Drake, come back to HNHH.

Drake Debuts His Country Accent While Touring Houston Home: Watch

Drake always reps the city of Toronto to the fullest, but that doesn’t mean he can’t show love to other areas that raised him, in a way. Moreover, those familiar with his’s early career know that Houston played a large role in his come-up, not just regarding stylistic and artistic inspiration, but also in terms of some of his earliest mentors like Bun B being from there. Now, the 6 God found a home in the city to stay at when he’s not in Toronto, and recently showed it off. Not only that, but he also showed off his best “country” accent to really get into the Texas atmosphere.

“Me and my partner, we done gone country on ya’ll, mane,” Drake remarked in a video in what looks like a golf cart with a friend. “We said we was going to do it for a lot of years. We doing it today. The sale is made, for sure. They said 10 horses belong to the property and four of them are boarding horses. People need a nice place for their horse to stay. Yeah, buddy, yeah, buddy. You got to drop a new one for this. If you see your girl at the Lover Boy Lane, it’s over.”

Drake Goes Full “Country” While Showing Off New Houston Property

Of course, this voice harkens back to when Drake was fully in his Southern bag on projects like Thank Me Later. As such, maybe it’s not too surprising for hardcore fans to hear his drawl like this, and we can imagine it’ll only get stronger. In addition, let’s not forget that the 36-year-old is known for his many voices, for better or worse. From dancehall patois to U.K. drill “tings,” he’s drawn as much admiration and clowning for his “impressions.” We’ll see how many of those show up on For All The Dogs.

Meanwhile, it’s at least nice to see that the OVO mogul finally achieved a longtime goal. With the resources and finances at his disposal, we can assume that he wanted to find the perfect spot in the city to call his second home. Regardless, we’ll see how long it takes for Drizzy to say “Howdy” to no end. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake.

Drake Found A Houston Home To Live In When He’s Not In Toronto

Drake’s an international star, which means he can stay pretty much wherever he wants if he’s not in his Toronto home. After all, with all that money and fame, you’d be hard-pressed to find a property of his liking that he wouldn’t pull up to. However, as Drizzy announced during his latest Houston stop of his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, it seems like he’s found the place he’s been looking for. Moreover, he announced to the crowd that he found a place to stay in Houston, much to their excitement. Under the tutelage of Bun B and a lot of stylistic inspiration in his early days, H-Town has a special place in the 36-year-old’s heart.

“Also, I want to tell you something,” Drake told the crowd, presumably on Monday (September 18) at his second concert in the city in a row. “I’m excited I get to share this with night two. I had to make it official first. I’ve been looking for a long time. Trying to figure out, you know, the right place for me to live where I belong outside of Toronto. I finally, finally, after all these years, found me a place in Houston, Texas. So y’all will be seeing me a lot, yeah!”

What’s more is that this isn’t all the love that Drake had to show to the city during these shows. “They say I’m from Toronto, Canada, but we might have to check the hospital records,” the 6 God cheekily expressed during his concert. “‘Cause y’all show me too much love in the H-Town, I love y’all for real. I got my album coming out for y’all October 6. I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

With this in mind, fans are more excited than ever for the release of the “classic” in question, For All The Dogs. It’s been a long time since he announced it, and delays and constant touring have kept fans at bay. Regardless of all that, it’s heartening to see that the OVO head honcho finally gets to take in a pivotal city in his life and career. On that note, for more news and the latest updates on Drake, keep checking in with HNHH.

Drake Shows Love To Houston While Promising “Another Classic” During Concert

If you recall the early days of Drake’s career, you know that Bun B and Houston were instrumental to his rise to superstardom. As such, he always makes sure to show the city the same love that they’ve shown him, and now we know that said respect fuels him to drop the best music possible. Moreover, as you probably know, the Toronto native recently delayed his highly anticipated album For All The Dogs to an early October release. During a show in H-Town, part of his It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage, he spoke to the crowd about their history and the upcoming project.

“They say I’m from Toronto, Canada, but we might have to check the hospital records,” Drake remarked to the thousands of cheering fans. “‘Cause y’all show me too much love in the H-Town, I love y’all for real. I got my album coming out for y’all October 6. I know I pushed it back, but it’s for good reason. ‘Cause I’m trying to represent for the H-Town like I always do. Another classic on the way.”

Drake Has “Another Classic” On The Way, He Tells His Second Home

Of course, even with no new information being revealed here, this is still enough to hype fans up even more for For All The Dogs. What’s more is that this was the 36-year-old’s second show in Houston, the first of which welcomed special guest Johnny Manziel. The Texas-born quarterback had the whole crowd going wild, and it’s one of many examples of Drake acknowledging his strong bond with the city. If not that, then he’s paying Bun B a visit to his Trill Burgers restaurant in H-Town, always giving one of his mentors his flowers.

Meanwhile, It’s All A Blur will likely continue to yield special moments, guests, performances, and more during its trek. There are only a few shows left, as things wrap up just a few days after For All The Dogs drops in Columbus, Ohio. We’ll see what else OVO and Slaughter Gang have in store to finish their journey with fireworks. On that note, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Drake.

Travis Scott Cleared Without Criminal Charges For Astroworld Tragedy

Earlier on Thursday (June 29), fans everywhere expressed shock at the news that a Houston grand jury would meet to determine whether they would criminally charge Travis Scott for the ten deaths and many injuries as a result of a crowd crush at the 2021 Astroworld Festival. Moreover, his attorney Kent Schaffer informed the press of the jury’s upcoming decision. Now, we know that the court did not find sufficient evidence to formally indict La Flame for the tragedy. Furthermore, Schaffer stated that no articulation on what the specific charges would be came forward. According to court documents obtained by KHOU 11, Scott was no billed on an involuntary homicide charge.

Of course, this news shocked fans not because of the severity and criminal prosecution of the case, but because it took so long for the court to discuss this issue. Still, Travis Scott never took the witness stand for his testimony, but reports indicate that he did participate in police interviews to shed light on the disaster. “Nothing Travis did or failed to do fits within the Texas criminal code,” Schaffer had stated in relation to this case. Regardless, prosecutors made their case before the grand jury, but the parties involved ultimately decided that it would be a fruitless endeavor.

Travis Scott Cleared Of Criminal Charges

Even though this is a win for Travis Scott, it doesn’t diminish the horrible and avoidable events that went down at the 2021 Astroworld Festival. Whether you attribute that blame to the 32-year-old, larger event planners, or city organizers is another question entirely. In addition, the families of the victims or injured victims themselves still presented lawsuits against the rapper and those involved in Astroworld’s planning. As such, we’re sure that this is a big legal sidestep, but not the only obstacle in his path regarding this tragedy.

Meanwhile, this news comes as hype for his next album UTOPIA is at an all-time high. New billboards point towards a July 21 release date, although considering release patterns these days, anything could happen. Perhaps the Cactus Jack frontman will actually address some of these themes on wax, however unlikely that seems given legal liability. For more news and the latest updates on Travis Scott, keep checking in with HNHH.

Drake Visits Bun B At His Trill Burgers Restaurant In Houston

Bun B’s legendary status in the game just got a new representative in addition to his incredible discography: the best burger you’ll ever have. Moreover, that’s how the Houston legend promotes his restaurant Trill Burgers in the city, which has seen a whole lot of success. Most recently, the location welcomed a distinguished guest who calls the 50-year-old MC his mentor and brother. Drake pulled up to the burger joint and affirmed that it was, indeed, a fantastic meal, even taking the time to post about it on his Instagram Story for his followers to know about it and go if they’re in the Houston area.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that a current rap giant has shouted out the shoulders that they stand on’s restaurant. For example, a clip went viral earlier in the year of Bun B chopping it up with Tyler, The Creator and giving him the Trill Burgers experience. Not only was it quite the surreal link-up for hip-hop fans, but the Hawthorne, California native also agreed that it was a great burger. If you didn’t already know about Trill Burgers, at least now you have a spot to hit up if you’re in Houston.

Furthermore, Drake and Bun B go way back, sharing a couple of collaborations and having a lot of respect for each other since the 6 God’s career began, with Bun being one of his earliest advocates. In fact, the UGK pioneer labeled the Canadian superstar a top ten artist in the game back in 2019. “In terms of lyricism?” he asked Billboard while speaking on So Far Gone‘s 10-year anniversary. “Impact, delivery- a lot of people who are in the top 10 had ghostwriters as well. I want to say he’s top 10. There will be very few artists who will ever be as impactful as Drake is. Game-changing. Someone that literally has consistently increased, and there hasn’t been a decline in music from him yet. The music keeps getting better, and it’s always ahead of the curve.”

“He may jump on the remix of a hot record, but he’s not trying to do musically what everyone else is doing,” he continued. “It’s always a different approach, but then he can also come back and do something and incorporate the New Orleans sound and not seem like he’s being a cultural appropriator. He can incorporate some Houston elements without being a cultural appropriator. It’s a beautiful way of being an artist and a fan, and being able to express both of those.” For more news and the latest updates on Drake and Bun B, log back into HNHH.
