Quando Rondo Faces Federal Drug Charges, Back In Custody After FBI Arrest

In a turn of events, federal indictments have shed new light on the FBI’s recent custody of Savannah rapper Quando Rondo. The new indictments reveal a web of criminal charges. They go beyond the state-level accusations of drug and gang activity that led to his initial arrest. Quando Rondo, born Tyquian Bowman, had been under the legal radar for months. This was due to state charges when he found himself in handcuffs again during a routine traffic stop. The unsealed federal indictments were disclosed on Monday. Moreover, Rondo is accused of engaging in the distribution of controlled substances. In addition, he’s accused of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl. Moreover, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Additionally, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. And conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery. 50 Cent Won’t Face Charges For Mic-Throwing Incident During Concert: Report

In case you already forgot about 50 Cent’s microphone-throwing incident during an August concert earlier this year, the court is here to remind you that you have plenty of time to reacquaint yourself before the case officially closes. However, they informed us of this by officially stating that they will not criminally charge him for this incident. Moreover, legal authorities will keep the filing open until August 30, 2024, exactly one year after the incident. This means that the New York rapper must behave during this time, as he could still be reevaluated for criminal charges if anything else occurs between him and the poor soul that he struck in the head by flinging his mic into the stands.

For those unaware, 50 Cent became frustrated with technical difficulties during a show in Los Angeles. When he lobbed it into the crowd with force, it hit Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain, leaving her with lacerations on her face and head that needed medical attention. She filed a police report shortly after, which went to L.A. County’s District Attorney as a felony, and then landed in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office. This last entity is the one that let TMZ know that Fif is not getting criminal charges right now and will not receive them, as long as he stays out of trouble with Bryhana and in general for the next ten months or so.

“Let’s be very clear,” 50 Cent’s lawyer Scott Leemon expressed in a statement concerning this incident. “As I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.” This situation caused many to criticize the G-Unit MC for his actions despite his legal dismissal of any wrongdoing, including longtime rival The Game.

Meanwhile, others like DJ Envy actually came to his defense here, so in the public eye, it’s still pretty divisive. Still, at least in the legal sense, it looks like this is where the case will rest, and where it will hopefully stay for the next ten months. As such, it’ll be more of a debate and wild moment to look back on than another drama-fueled and contentious narrative. For more news and the latest updates on 50 Cent, log back into HNHH.

Russell Brand Refutes “Criminal” Allegations Against Him Ahead Of TV Special

Famous actor Russell Brand recently posted a video on his social media predicting allegations against him before they even surfaced. Moreover, it seems he’s been accused of sexual assault and harassment in his past by multiple women, and he called these “criminal” claims false in his statement. While he didn’t name anyone or any entity, many connected this to a Dispatched TV special airing in the United Kingdom on Saturday night (September 16). Furthermore, this will air in about three hours as of writing this article on Channel 4 (9pm local time). Now, with stories coming forward about his misconduct, this will surely impact his life and the lives of many others.

“I’ve received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email,” Russell Brand began. “One from a mainstream media TV company, one from a newspaper, listing a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks. But amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute. These allegations pertain to the time when I was working in the mainstream, when I was in the newspapers all the time, when I was in the movies.

Russell Brand Addresses Assault Allegations Against Him

“As I’ve written about extensively in my books, I was very, very promiscuous,” Russell Brand continued. “Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual. I was always transparent about that then- almost too transparent. And I’m being transparent about it now as well. And to see that transparency metastasized into something criminal, that I absolutely deny. I don’t mind them using my books and my stand-up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very, serious criminal allegations.

“Also, it’s worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct apparently, in what seems to me to be, a coordinated attack,” he concluded. “Now, I don’t want to get into this any further, because of the serious nature of the allegations. But I feel like I’m being attacked and plainly they are working very closely together. We are obviously going to look into this matter because it’s very, very, serious. In the meantime, I want you to stay close, stay awake, but more important than any of that, if you can, please stay free.” For more big updates on this Russell Brand story, log back into HNHH.

Travis Scott Cleared Without Criminal Charges For Astroworld Tragedy

Earlier on Thursday (June 29), fans everywhere expressed shock at the news that a Houston grand jury would meet to determine whether they would criminally charge Travis Scott for the ten deaths and many injuries as a result of a crowd crush at the 2021 Astroworld Festival. Moreover, his attorney Kent Schaffer informed the press of the jury’s upcoming decision. Now, we know that the court did not find sufficient evidence to formally indict La Flame for the tragedy. Furthermore, Schaffer stated that no articulation on what the specific charges would be came forward. According to court documents obtained by KHOU 11, Scott was no billed on an involuntary homicide charge.

Of course, this news shocked fans not because of the severity and criminal prosecution of the case, but because it took so long for the court to discuss this issue. Still, Travis Scott never took the witness stand for his testimony, but reports indicate that he did participate in police interviews to shed light on the disaster. “Nothing Travis did or failed to do fits within the Texas criminal code,” Schaffer had stated in relation to this case. Regardless, prosecutors made their case before the grand jury, but the parties involved ultimately decided that it would be a fruitless endeavor.

Travis Scott Cleared Of Criminal Charges

Even though this is a win for Travis Scott, it doesn’t diminish the horrible and avoidable events that went down at the 2021 Astroworld Festival. Whether you attribute that blame to the 32-year-old, larger event planners, or city organizers is another question entirely. In addition, the families of the victims or injured victims themselves still presented lawsuits against the rapper and those involved in Astroworld’s planning. As such, we’re sure that this is a big legal sidestep, but not the only obstacle in his path regarding this tragedy.

Meanwhile, this news comes as hype for his next album UTOPIA is at an all-time high. New billboards point towards a July 21 release date, although considering release patterns these days, anything could happen. Perhaps the Cactus Jack frontman will actually address some of these themes on wax, however unlikely that seems given legal liability. For more news and the latest updates on Travis Scott, keep checking in with HNHH.

Vladimir Putin Receives Arrest Warrant From The ICC

The International Criminal Court (ICC) just put out an arrest warrant for Russian president Vladimir Putin for war crimes committed against Ukraine in their ongoing invasion of the nation. Moreover, the ICC is specifically taking aim at alleged involvement in abducting children from Ukraine, in addition to other cruel behavior. Furthermore, the court stated that the 70-year-old “is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”

In addition, they issued a warrant for the arrest of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova, on similar charges. However, since Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC, said arrest will prove difficult to enforce. In fact, the response of Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova to the warrant makes their position quite clear. “The decisions of the International Criminal Court have no meaning for our country, including from a legal point of view,” she expressed via a statement. Also, a Russian politician reportedly tweeted a joke about the ICC’s warrant, comparing it to toilet paper.

ICC Issues Arrest Warrant For Vladimir Putin

Meanwhile, officials and citizens in Ukraine are reportedly overjoyed at the news. Moreover, a top advisor to Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the country is ecstatic about the fact that the “wheels of Justice are turning.” Still, such spirit from the Ukranian people faced catastrophic besieging for the past year, or decades depending on how you look at the conflict. Despite its history, it’s undeniable that the past year impacted the two nations’ relationship more than ever. However, another important element that people (especially not from either country) brought up are the other public officials that deserve sentencing.

Of course, the primary examples that social media brought up in that regard are U.S. presidents. For example, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and others faced similar accusations of war crimes, although calling them accusations is an understatement. As such, this news caused not just direct discussion on the conflict, but also indirect discussion on the ICC’s jurisdiction and role. Regardless of your take, check back in with HNHH for the latest big news and updates on this story and conflict.
