Sukihana Arrested On Drug Charges: What We Know

Sukihana and controversy are pretty much attached at the hip, so when news of her arrest broke out, public reaction was polarizing. No stranger to making headlines, the rapper and reality TV personality found herself in cuffs this past week. She was arrested in North Lauderdale, Florida. The charges against her, however, are quite serious.

Sukihana’s arrest involves not one but two illegal drugs. Specifically, after allegedly being caught with MDMA (ecstasy) and codeine, she also faces heat due to her purported intent to sell. The rapper was taken into police custody on Thursday, April 25th, and could be in serious hot water. However, with a cheeky grin in her recent mugshot, we’re not so sure Sukihana’s bothered about the ordeal. Or maybe that’s what she wants us to think.

Details Of The Arrest

The rapper was reportedly caught in possession of quantities of ecstasy and codeine with the intent to sell. Sukihana’s arrest records were obtained by HipHopDX, which claims that she’s been charged with two counts of violation of Florida Statute 893.13. Evidently, the police believe her to be a mule or distributor for these controlled substances. More specifics about how and why she was arrested have not yet been provided by the authorities. Moreover, the police department has also not released formal statements about arresting the Love & Hip Hop Miami star.

Additionally, no information is available about whether this was a planned raid or a routine stop leading to her arrest. Right now, the rap star is being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach while she waits for her upcoming court appearances. Her total bail amount was set at $7,500: $2,500 for the ecstasy charge and $5,000 for the codeine charge. It’s also unknown if she has paid bail and is yet to be released.

There remain many unanswered questions, and there is no official comment from Sukihana or her representatives about the arrest.  Nonetheless, the rumor mill continues to spread, especially about just how much of the illegal drugs she allegedly possessed. That, as a result, determines if she will face prison. If found guilty of intending to sell drugs, she could face severe legal punishment, but her court date is still unscheduled. Nonetheless, her lawyers will likely try hard to get the charges reduced or dismissed. It’s worth noting that in 2021, Sukihana was arrested for battery charges in Florida, although many details of that case are still unclear.

Fan Reaction & Social Media Buzz

Soon after news of Sukihana’s arrest made its way to the internet, there were various reactions online. While some expressed shock and disappointment at the news, others seemed unsurprised, given her controversial reputation. However, what did garner significant buzz was the smirk on her face while posing for her mugshot. With bright orange hair, Sukihana seems pleasantly unbothered by the arrest.

More official information will likely be released over the next few days and weeks as she appears before a judge and her case moves through the legal system. Her team may also give statements providing more explanation. While the charges against her are quite serious, many vital facts remain unknown, as the legal case is just beginning. Only time will tell how this arrest ultimately impacts Sukihana’s career.

Sukihana Arrested In Florida On Drug Charges: Details

Sukihana was reportedly arrested in South Florida on Thursday afternoon (April 25) and charged with ecstasy and codeine possession with intent to distribute. This is a very early XXL report with not a lot of info at press time, so take this with a grain of salt as there’s probably going to be a clarifying update coming soon. Still, a lot of folks expressed surprise or interest in this online, and the only thing they have to discuss this with are just theories. It’s kind of similar to relationship rumors that are circling her and Ray J as of late, although these are obviously very different circumstances.

Moreover, the Delaware native is known to be in the headlines for pretty wild reasons these days, but most of them relate to her antics. For example, she recently got into it with Peter Thomas of RHOA over her lewd behavior, and their back-and-forth clap-backs were pretty nasty. Of course, Sukihana knows pretty well how to capitalize on moments like these, associate herself with the right people, and build her name off of her unapologetic persona. Right now, though, it seems like this might be an example of this approach backfiring, although there is probably much more to this story that will make these assumptions moot.

Sukihana Arrested On Drug Charges: Report

Elsewhere, though, she is also taking it upon herself to provide some heartening moments for the rap community, or at least, that’s what she did at Rolling Loud recently. Furthermore, Sukihana brought out OJ Da Juiceman during her set, giving him a slot shortly after his release from prison. It was a pretty big moment to witness for fans, and it’s a perfect example of how moments like these can make for profile-boosting and resonant moments for fans and the larger rap community as a whole. Hopefully folks return the favor for her if this news is true.

Meanwhile, we’ll see what the Bad Vs. Wild star has to say about this, and just how serious this arrest is. After all, it could be something that a quick bond or legal process clears up, or something much harsher and more grueling. Either way, we’re sure that whenever she gets a chance to speak out, it will be quite the doozy. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Sukihana.

NBA YoungBoy’s Pre-Trial Release At Risk As He’s Sent Back To Baton Rouge After Arrest

Earlier this week, NBA YoungBoy was arrested after a raid of his Utah home, which he’s dubbed Grave Digger Mountain. At the time, it was reported that he was taken into custody due to “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” Today, new details about his case emerged, revealing that most of his charges stem from an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme.

Essentially, officials accuse YB and his crew of calling in prescriptions using real doctors’ names. One suspicious pharmacist tipped off the police. The arrest has led to a lot of questions about what’s next for the rapper, who’s been on house arrest in Utah for two years. He’s awaiting his upcoming trial in Louisiana on a previous gun possession charge. Of course, this latest development was expected to impact his pre-trial release in some way. It looks like officials aren’t wasting any time.

Today, a federal judge signed a request from prosecutors to schedule a bond revocation hearing and ordered that he be held in custody until it’s scheduled. If she ends up determining that YB violated the terms of his pre-trial release, she could order him to be held until his trial. Moreover, the performer has to kiss Grave Digger Mountain goodbye for now. He’s been sent back to his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA where he must remain until he learns his fate.

What do you think of NBA YoungBoy’s recent arrest? What about the rapper having to go back to Baton Rouge? Do you think he’ll end up having to await trial behind bars? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

NBA YoungBoy’s Bad Doctor Impression Allegedly Got Him Caught In Prescription Fraud Scheme

Earlier this week, NBA YoungBoy was arrested at his Utah home on multiple charges. Initially, it was reported that he was booked for “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” Today, new details of the case were made public, revealing that it’s far more complex than expected.

YB was hit with a total of 63 charges. Most of them are related to an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme. He’s looking at 20 counts of identity fraud, 20 counts of obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, 20 counts of forgery, and more. Allegedly, he and his crew would call in prescriptions using real doctors’ names, which is ultimately what got them caught. A probable cause affidavit from Cache County details how a caller claiming to be “Gwendolyn Cox” tipped off police.

NBA YoungBoy Hit With 63 Charges

‘Gwendolyn’ sounded as though she was a much younger male from the Southern states. Gwendolyn made a statement ‘well I axed her to and she said that she’ll have you call me.’ This statement was a response to a request that was made to have ‘Gwendolyn’ contact Dispatch and have them transfer her call back through. … (I have) lived in the Southern United States, the terminology in replacing the word ‘ask’ with ‘axe’ or other variations, is consistent with a Southern dialect in states such as Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and other southern states,” the affidavit reads.

One pharmacist targeted in the scheme, Erik Stewart, says something just didn’t seem right when he received a call from a number that didn’t match the registered doctor’s office. “Usually, you don’t get a doctor calling in a cough syrup themselves. That’ll be like a nurse or something – but then, just their medical terminology was off the quantities,” he told KUTV. “The way they pronounced the things – everything was suspicious.” What do you think of NBA YoungBoy being accused of taking part in an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme? According to new reports, Real Boston Richey was recently arrested by federal officers for alleged conspiracy to traffic marijuana. Further details surrounding the Florida rapper’s arrest are unclear. Ironically enough, Richey just unveiled a new music video for his track “Federal Nightmares,” which has led some fans to believe that he had an inkling his reported arrest was imminent.

Real Boston Richey also turns 27 this week, meaning that his alleged legal troubles have caught up to him at a bad time. “Starting my Bday Off Right Federal Nightmares Dropping 12am Friday Ya Dig Me ❤️‍🩹 Free @piru.papii  @smizoe_9 And Free My Pops Out Da FEDS SHOT BY: @skeeboe,” he wrote on Instagram yesterday alongside a teaser for his new video. Unfortunately, however, this is far from Real Boston Richey’s first run-in with the law. This latest development has brought about discussions of his 2013 arrest, as well as the snitching allegations he faced last year. Reportedly, he and two others were involved in a stolen vehicle case at the time of the arrest. In 2023, 1090 Jake came through with paperwork alleging that it proved the rapper had snitched on two different occasions. A video later surfaced appearing to show the performer being questioned by police and seemingly identifying various suspects.

Real Boston Richey eventually addressed the allegations, fervently denying them. “Nobody in dat interview was a factual person,” he told Instagram followers. “I clearly say he ain’t have nothing to do with s***.” What do you think of reports that Real Boston Richey was arrested by feds? What about him being accused of conspiracy to traffic marijuana? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Kodak Black To Spend At Least 4 More Weeks In Jail

Kodak Black will be spending at least another month behind bars according to a new report from AllHipHop. The outlet cites court documents showing that a final hearing to address the revocation of Kodak Black’s supervised release was held in court on Monday. There, Judge Jose E. Martinez decided that he would need another four weeks to come to a decision. Kodak’s next chance to receive an early release will come on February 21.

Police originally planned to charge Kodak with cocaine possession after an arrest in December 2023. They alleged to have discovered a “white chunky substance” while searching the rapper’s vehicle. They ended up charging him with oxycodone possession and violating his probation.

Kodak Black Performs At Homecoming Concert In 2017

Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, previously filed a motion asking a Florida judge to dismiss the charges. Cohen says his client had a prescription for the painkillers and wants the judge to reconsider the charges. “As stated when this new case first was filed, this was not cocaine and the officer was lying about his observations,” Cohen explained on Instagram. “We finally got the lab report…its oxycodone that Kodak had a prescription for and not an illegal substance. Knowing that the officer substantially misrepresented his observations, the Broward State Atty Office still filed the charge. Unbelievable and it will not be tolerated. This level of abuse of power by the arresting officer is disgusting. We will be seeking a new bond hearing and addressing these unethical practices by the police department.”

Kodak had been on probation at the time of his arrest after former president Donald Trump commuted his sentence in 2021. Be on the lookout for further updates on Kodak Black as well as his next hearing in February on HotNewHipHop.

HoneyKomb Brazy Arrested, Hit With Gun And Drug Charges

HoneyKomb Brazy was arrested in Alabama earlier this week following a traffic stop, and is now facing drug and gun charges. According to jail records obtained by XXL, the rapper was arrested on Monday morning, and charged with possession of a controlled substance and a pistol. Further details about his arrest are not available at the time of writing. It’s clear, however, that the incident will only complicate his ongoing legal battle.

Last month, HoneyKomb Brazy was released from prison after serving 30 months behind bars. Only days later, he returned to turn himself in for allegedly exposing himself to a police officer back in 2021. This only scratches the surface of the Alabama native’s legal trouble, however. In 2020, the artist was sentenced to 15 years for possession of a firearm as a felon. He was later released after serving 18 months. In July of 2021, he was booked once again for violating his probation after authorities spotted him in music videos with guns and drugs.

While he was serving his sentence in 2021, the performer’s grandparents died as the result of a house fire. New details emerged the next year, and investigators alleged that the incident took place due to a Facebook post from OMB Peezy. Terrance Watkins, Jamarcus Chambers, and Patrick Lewis were charged with their murder. They’re accused of firing multiple shots into the home under drug kingpin Darrin Southall’s orders. Prosecutors believe that Watkins was upset by Peezy’s Facebook post, and later came up with a plan to “hurt Jones.”

“A likely scenario is that the gunfire resulted in the explosion of an oxygen tank, which in turn would have caused the explosion of other oxygen tanks in the house, which would lead to the fire,” attorney Louis Walker said of the alleged attack. Kodak Black’s Attorney Denies Rapper Had Cocaine During Drug Bust, Says It Was Percocet

Kodak Black’s lawyer affirms that it wasn’t cocaine in his possession during his recent arrest but Percocet. Last week, Florida police arrested the rapper after they discovered him asleep at the wheel of his vehicle. After he was booked on drug charges, authorities said they found him with a mouth of white powder and a white pebble-like substance on the ground at the scene. The initial test of the substances returned positive for cocaine, though Kodak insisted that it was Percocet. His attorney, Bradford Cohen, echoed this statement to TMZ recently.

“In this latest case, my belief is that the ‘rock’ this officer found when tested will be a Percocet, not cocaine,” Cohen told the media outlet, despite the test. “The test they do is a presumptive test for illegal substances. It just turns blue.” The attorney added that the rapper developed a dependency on Percocet ever since he was behind bars. “There will be a couple of different phases of this treatment in order for him to get better. You have to treat the root problem of the dependency and that’s what is going to happen. We are going to alleviate dependency,” Cohen added.

News of Kodak Black’s arrest caused a stir online, especially after police claimed that he was in possession of cocaine. However, Yak appeared on Instagram Live shortly after bonding out where he explained that he was on lean and fell asleep in front of his family’s house. Although he admitted abusing Percocets, he made it clear that he doesn’t do cocaine. He added that he’s plenty over $350,000 to help get clean. “I’m working on myself,” he told his fans online.

While his latest arrest was another legal bump in the road, fans are undoubtedly revving up for the release of new music. Ye and Ty Dolla $ign recently debuted their joint project together, which brings an eclectic group of collaborators, from North West to Freddie Gibbs. However, the most anticipated song on the album includes appearances from Kodak Black and Bad Bunny who appear on the same song. With Vultures set to drop on Friday, we’re excited to hear the final result of Yak’s collaboration with Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and Bad Bunny.

Quando Rondo Pleads Not Guilty To New Federal Drug Charges

Over the weekend, Quando Rondo was arrested by the FBI in Savannah. It’s the most recent in a long series of legal troubles for the rapper and it could prove to be the most serious. He was hit with a large indictment of more than a dozen charges. Included in the indictment are counts of conspiracy to possess and distribute controlled substances. There are also charges related to illegal possession of a firearm. Rondo and others are accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

Earlier today, Rondo appeared in court to be read his charges and give his official plea. Unsurprisingly, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. That was the only major development while he was in court today but he’s expected to be back soon. He’ll return to court later this week for a bond hearing in an attempt to get released from police custody. It’s unclear whether he will be granted the opportunity for release given his troubled history with the law and the major implications of the allegations. Check out the full story of his plea in court today below.

Quando Rondo Pleas Not Guilty

These new legal developments follow an already hectic year for Rondo. He was already indicted once this year and accused of being the leader of a gang. He was also accused of propping up a conspiracy to sell marijuana in order to buy hydrocodone pills. Rondo later accused someone in his circle of snitching and claims that’s what led to his eventual indictment. He was granted bond for the case in June and an attempt by the prosecution to revoke it was shot down in July.

Later in July, Rondo got into a serious car accident. There was speculation that he was under the influence and was even given Narcan after exhibiting the early symptoms of an overdose. As a result of his ongoing legal trouble, he was nearly banned from his hometown. It wasn’t until last month that he finally learned that he wouldn’t be banned after a judge declined the ruling. What do you think of Quando Rondo pleading not guilty after being arrested for drug trafficking? Let us know in the comment section below.

Quando Rondo Hit With Numerous Drug Charges Facing Up To 20 Years Behind Bars

Despite already being in the thick of a whirlwind of legal troubles, things just got even more severe for Quando Rondo. Over the weekend, Rondo was arrested in Savannah and faces drug charges from the federal level. Now after appearing in a district court earlier today, he’s been indicted on 14 charges that could ultimately see him jailed for up to 20 years. The federal indictment was unsealed earlier this week revealing exactly what new legal trouble Rondo is facing.

The indictment accuses Rondo, alongside others, of conspiracy to possess and distribute various drugs. Numerous illicit substances are included in the indictment including marijuana, cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. The accusations date all the way back to 2021 where it first accuses Rondo of participating in the conspiracy. He’s facing a total of 14 charges from the indictment including possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Rondo is still currently being held in police custody in a federal facility.

Quando Rondo Federal Drug Charges

This is far from the only legal trouble Rondo has dealt with this year. Just last month, a Georgia judge had to weigh whether or not to ban Rondo from his own home town. That spawned from an arrest all the way back in June that saw Rondo facing even more drug charges. Thankfully for him he ultimately wasn’t banned from his hometown, though he was eventually arrested by the FBI while there.

The very next month, Rondo was involved in a high speed car crash. He was arrested after the crash as observations were made that he could be under the influence. He was even administered Narcan after displaying the first symptoms of a potential overdose. A judge ultimately granted him his release, but only under the conditions that he didn’t drive or use drugs while out. What do you think of the new charges Quando Rondo is facing which could end with him facing 20 years in prison? Let us know in the comment section below.
