HoneyKomb Brazy Hit With Federal Gun Charge Indictment

According to a FOX 10 News report on Friday (January 26), HoneyKomb Brazy was just indicted on federal gun charges soon after his release on bond. Moreover, the rapper (real name Nashon Jones) and his two bodyguards, Miguel Wayne Hall and Mason Demetrius Fuller, were indicted specifically for illegal firearm possession. Furthermore, HoneyKomb and Fuller had restrictions in place preventing them from taking ownership of guns thanks to felony convictions in their past. On the other hand, Hall reportedly got an outright ban concerning firearm possession, stemming from a protection-from-abuse order against him from a Georgia judge.

For those unaware, the Mobile, Alabama MC and his entourage encountered police thanks to a traffic stop on December 18 of last year, which led to their subsequent arrest. Authorities alleged that, when they searched the vehicle, they found a Girsan MC 28 SAC 9mm pistol close to the driver’s seat. Not only that, but they also claimed to find a Smith & Wesson MP 15 AR pistol, Promethazine, and marijuana. As such, HoneyKomb Brazy’s original charges also included possession of a controlled substance and the “certain persons forbidden to possess a pistol” code.

HoneyKomb Brazy Indicted On Federal Gun Charges: Report

When news outlets and the media as a whole picked this up, folks also found out that federal law enforcement quickly involved themselves in this case. For example, a federal agent testified during a preliminary hearing that they monitored HoneyKomb Brazy before this arrest. This owed itself to his relation to multiple investigations in years prior, and he announced plans to take this to trial. Brazy reportedly saw freedom from jail in November of last year following 48 months served for possessing a gun as a person with a felony history.

Meanwhile, this development comes after he also spoke on other cases or legal actions within the rap world. Most recently, the Alabama artist walked back his accusation that Finesse2tymes snitched, which he did around the same time that folks found out that the feds were on him for some time. HoneyKomb Brazy Drops Finesse2tymes Snitching Allegations, Revealed To Be Subject Of FBI Surveillance

HoneyKomb Brazy has retracted his claims that Finesse2tymes snitched on him, leading to his current legal troubles. “I wanna take back what I about said finesse. All my paperwork just came and at first it looked bra really did that but I got all facts here and bra ain’t got nun to do with that. I ain’t wit lying on no n-gga name bout no rat sh-t,” Brazy wrote on social media. The statement was one of the first that Brazy made after being released on bond amid federal charges.

Meanwhile, a senior FBI agent appeared to reveal that Brazy was under surveillance prior to his arrest. Special Agent Evan Fisher testified that the FBI knew that Brazy was “out and about” prior to his arrest during a traffic stop in December 2023. Fisher declined to expand on why Brazy was being surveilled. However, Fisher did note that Brazy had been that the rapper had been the “subject of multiple investigations for years.” At the time of writing, it is unclear when Brazy will be expected back in court on his new charges.

HoneyKomb Brazy Feuds With Gervonta Davis

However, this is just the latest mess that Brazy has found himself in. In November 2023, Gervonta Davis challenged Brazy to a bare-knuckle fight. “We can one with no gloves on!” Davis wrote on Instagram. This was in response to Brazy saying “When u want to do it I’m really like that. I’m not dodging no smoke. Real prison baby.” Furthermore, this was the follow-on to Brazy, unprompted, claiming that he could beat Davis in a one-on-one fight.

Davis is 29-0 in his boxing career, most recently having beaten Ryan Garcia in April. However, any boxing plans for the rest of the year were derailed after Davis was placed under house arrest (and later jailed) for a March 2021 hit-and-run arrest. At the time of writing, Davis has not announced any plans for his next fight. However, options include Vasyl Lomachenko and William Zepeda.

HoneyKomb Brazy Out On Bond But Facing Federal Gun Charges

Alabama rapper HoneyKomb Brazy has a LONG history with the justice system and that doesn’t seem like it’s going to end any time soon. He was sentenced to 15 years in jail for gun charges back in 2020, though he only ended up serving 18 months of the sentence before he was released. He was returned to prison following a parole violation for drug possession after being released where he spent more than a year.

While Brazy was back in prison his grandparents both died as the result of a house fire. While the news was initially reported as an accident further investigation revealed that it was actually the result of a shooting. Four men were arrested for executing the shooting which police believe caused the fire after striking an oxygen tank. HoneyKomb Brazy Granted Bond

Earlier this month, HoneyKomb Brazy was arrested once again in his native Alabama. During a traffic stop, he and two men were found in possession of two guns. As a convicted felon, Brazy wasn’t allowed to have the guns and was arrested as a result. He’s been hit with charges for illegal possession of a firearm. HoneyKomb Brazy Arrested, Hit With Gun And Drug Charges

HoneyKomb Brazy was arrested in Alabama earlier this week following a traffic stop, and is now facing drug and gun charges. According to jail records obtained by XXL, the rapper was arrested on Monday morning, and charged with possession of a controlled substance and a pistol. Further details about his arrest are not available at the time of writing. It’s clear, however, that the incident will only complicate his ongoing legal battle.

Last month, HoneyKomb Brazy was released from prison after serving 30 months behind bars. Only days later, he returned to turn himself in for allegedly exposing himself to a police officer back in 2021. This only scratches the surface of the Alabama native’s legal trouble, however. In 2020, the artist was sentenced to 15 years for possession of a firearm as a felon. He was later released after serving 18 months. In July of 2021, he was booked once again for violating his probation after authorities spotted him in music videos with guns and drugs.

While he was serving his sentence in 2021, the performer’s grandparents died as the result of a house fire. New details emerged the next year, and investigators alleged that the incident took place due to a Facebook post from OMB Peezy. Terrance Watkins, Jamarcus Chambers, and Patrick Lewis were charged with their murder. They’re accused of firing multiple shots into the home under drug kingpin Darrin Southall’s orders. Prosecutors believe that Watkins was upset by Peezy’s Facebook post, and later came up with a plan to “hurt Jones.”

“A likely scenario is that the gunfire resulted in the explosion of an oxygen tank, which in turn would have caused the explosion of other oxygen tanks in the house, which would lead to the fire,” attorney Louis Walker said of the alleged attack. HoneyKomb Brazy Issues An Apology To J. Prince Jr.

HoneyKomb Brazy recently called out J. Prince Jr. over some label issues with Rap-A-Lot, as well as making claims that he got slapped. It’s a bit of an unclear feud, as social media spats tend to be, but it seems to have ended before things really even started. Moreover, he took to his Instagram this week to issue an apology to the rap mogul’s son for his actions. Not only that, but the rapper fully admitted that he’s in the wrong here, and hopes that they can talk face-to-face soon. Despite Brazy’s other beefs, it’s heartening to see him want to make things right, if only for the inspiration it can give us to do the same in our lives.

HoneyKomb Brazy’s Apology To J. Prince Jr.: Read

I admit that now. @jprincejr need to catch that flight so we can talk face to face.” Furthermore, this is especially heartening because the MC’s faced a lot of violence and tragic ends to conflicts throughout his life, ones that are nice to see him avoid. For example, his grandparents tragically died in a house fire over a Facebook post relating to his relations with OMB Peezy.

Meanwhile, J. Prince Jr. is still involved with some feuds with other rappers, although this is more tangential than legitimate. Could Davis Fight Shakur Stevenson?

Another potential fight could be Shakur Stevenson. Davis’ contemporaries in Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia both took shots at Stevenson after Stevenson eeked out a win in his lightweight title fight versus Edwin De Los Santos. “Stop that scared narrative … nobody was ever scared of that bum!” Haney wrote on X. “Imagine going to this fight for Formula 1 weekend, I would ask for my money back and go straight to bed, that’s how sleepy I’d be from being there,” Garcia wrote on his own account. Both men have feuded with Stevenson over the course of 2023 and are each viewed as a future opponent for him.

However, even Stevenson was critical of his performance. “I had a bad performance tonight. That’s all I’m really focused on. I wasn’t feeling too good, so I’ll live with it. It’s OK. I didn’t feel good before the fight. Honestly, I had already told myself that if I feel like this in the ring and if it’s not going well, I’m going to make sure that I box and get the victory.
