ASAP Rocky Pleads Not Guilty In Felony Gun Assault Case

ASAP Rocky has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. He entered his plea at a hearing in Los Angeles on Monday. A judge previously ruled in November that there was enough evidence against Rocky to warrant a trial in the shooting of his former friend and colleague, ASAP Relli. Relli accused Rocky of opening fire on him in Hollywood on November 6, 2022, while claiming that one of the bullets grazed his hand.

Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, labeled the assault allegation a “false scenario” as well as “a plain and blatant classic attempt at extortion,” in a statement to Rolling Stone. Tacopina added of Relli: “He’s a failed associate — ex-associate — of Rocky’s, and he’s jealous. He was trying to get money from Rocky. He wanted Rocky to support him, he made it clear. There were repeated attempts where he tried to ask for money in lieu of not causing problems for Rocky. That’s what he said. We have all this memorialized in text messages and otherwise, so it’s an extortion.”

Tiffany Haddish Pleads Not Guilty To Thanksgiving DUI Charge

Last month, fans were shocked by the news that Tiffany Haddish had been arrested and hit with a DUI charge just after Thanksgiving. The comedian was reportedly found asleep in her car which was parked and partially blocking the road. Thankfully nothing bad came out of the dangerous circumstances beyond her arrest. She seemed to take it pretty well and was even willing to crack jokes about the story just a few hours after it broke.

But now things could be getting more serious for Haddish as she’s going to fight the charges in court. She appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom today and pleaded not guilty to the charges she’s facing. This isn’t the first time this situation has happened though. Last year she was similarly found sleeping in her car, this time in Georgia. She was hit with a DUI there as well which she also pleaded not guilty to. That trial was due to start last month but ended up being delayed until 2024. Check out all the details on Haddish’s new arrest below.

Tiffany Haddish Enters Not Guilty Plea

Shortly after the news of her DUI was made public, a video of Haddish from earlier that same day began making the rounds online. In the video she’s ranting about how an LA club denied her entry into the venue which when paired with the resulting arrest didn’t look great for the comedian.

Since the incident Haddish has taken addressing her issues a bit more seriously. Shortly after her arrest she made a public promise that she would “get help” though didn’t specify exactly what she meant. There’s a chance that Haddish could face drug and alcohol restrictions as a result of her newest DUI charge. The charges also reportedly got some of Haddish’s friends concerned over her wellbeing and her substance usage. What do you think of Tiffany Haddish pleading not guilty to her second DUI charge after being found sleeping in her car? Let us know in the comment section below.

Quando Rondo Pleads Not Guilty To New Federal Drug Charges

Over the weekend, Quando Rondo was arrested by the FBI in Savannah. It’s the most recent in a long series of legal troubles for the rapper and it could prove to be the most serious. He was hit with a large indictment of more than a dozen charges. Included in the indictment are counts of conspiracy to possess and distribute controlled substances. There are also charges related to illegal possession of a firearm. Rondo and others are accused of conspiring to distribute cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and marijuana.

Earlier today, Rondo appeared in court to be read his charges and give his official plea. Unsurprisingly, he pleaded not guilty to the charges. That was the only major development while he was in court today but he’s expected to be back soon. He’ll return to court later this week for a bond hearing in an attempt to get released from police custody. It’s unclear whether he will be granted the opportunity for release given his troubled history with the law and the major implications of the allegations. Check out the full story of his plea in court today below.

Quando Rondo Pleas Not Guilty

These new legal developments follow an already hectic year for Rondo. He was already indicted once this year and accused of being the leader of a gang. He was also accused of propping up a conspiracy to sell marijuana in order to buy hydrocodone pills. Rondo later accused someone in his circle of snitching and claims that’s what led to his eventual indictment. He was granted bond for the case in June and an attempt by the prosecution to revoke it was shot down in July.

Later in July, Rondo got into a serious car accident. There was speculation that he was under the influence and was even given Narcan after exhibiting the early symptoms of an overdose. As a result of his ongoing legal trouble, he was nearly banned from his hometown. It wasn’t until last month that he finally learned that he wouldn’t be banned after a judge declined the ruling. What do you think of Quando Rondo pleading not guilty after being arrested for drug trafficking? Let us know in the comment section below.

Keefe D Pleads Not Guilty In Tupac Murder Case

After facing multiple delays in his arraignment process, Duane “Keefe D” Davis finally pleaded not guilty in Tupac Shakur’s murder case. Moreover, he appeared in Clark County court on Thursday (November 2) in Las Vegas alongside his public defender, which he got after he couldn’t afford a lawyer. Of course, this falls within predictions of what we expected Davis to state, as a not guilty plea seems obvious in these circumstances. After all, he was quite calm in the backseat of the police car, or at least from the body-cam footage of his arrest that we saw. Regardless, now the gears will start turning to unveil whether the 60-year-old is truly responsible for the hip-hop legend’s tragic passing.

Furthermore, this follows years of Keefe D boasting and commenting on Tupac’s murder in ways that link him to the crime. For example, he claimed that he gave his nephew Orlando Anderson the murder weapon that took ‘Pac’s life back in 1996. Amid other allusions to the mystery, this is apparently what caused investigators and prosecutors to reopen this case. However, this is far from the only accusation or narrative at play in this story.

Not only is Keefe D at the center of these accusations, but folks also roped Diddy into the list of suspects. His former bodyguard, Gene Deal, recently spoke to The Art Of Dialogue about what many see as a suspicious bond between the two. “Keefe D, I’ve seen him a number of times,” Deal remarked. “[He and Diddy] were gambling together, they were drinking together, they had fun, they was hanging out in hotels. Yes, they did have a relationship. As far as me having any information whether he commissioned Keefe D to do a murder, nah bruh, that ain’t me. They can ask me, did I see Keefe D? Yes, I did. Was he around? Yes, he was.”

Meanwhile, this is adding another conspiratorial layer to this current trial, which will surely be relevant. But these theories and speculative comments have existed from the day that the Death Row icon left this Earth. As such, maybe this trial will bring justice forward, or it will continue a cycle of dead ends. On that note, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Keefe D and Tupac Shakur.

Lady Leshurr Found Not Guilty For Attacking Ex, Is Relieved But Fears Her Career Is Over

Just a couple of weeks ago, UK rapper Lady Leshurr was recently accused by her ex. The reason she was in court was because of Sidnee Hussein, and her then-partner, Chante Boyea. This happened around the same time last year, on October 22, 2022. According to HipHopDX, the altercation went down when Leshurr reportedly bit her ex’s girlfriend on the hand after she stopped in her car. Then when Leshurr’s ex came out of the house to break it up, the rapper reportedly attacked her as well.

There was a chance that the two accusers were lying. The prosecutor claimed the defendants did so with the police. In addition to that, their account did not really explain the injuries. Well, we now have confirmation that Leshurr is a free woman after a year-long battle. She addressed her situation in a recent Instagram post. Leshurr was extremely grateful for it to be over. However, even with that, she believes her career is over for good.

“For the past year I’ve been battling a court case from people that accused me of stalking, harassing, and biting them but I was the victim. I was attacked and bitten by a dog and made out to be the aggressor. For a whole year people have deserted me, dropped me from deals, and didn’t want to work with me anymore. For a whole year I have had no income. For a whole year I’ve had to be silent and let articles and the media slander and defame my character. Today has been judgment day. I’m shaking whilst I write this. My brand/career has been ruined regardless no matter the outcome, but at least I have a clean record and can FINALLY get on with my life.”

What are your initial thoughts on Lady Leshurr being not guilty of attacking her ex? Do you agree with her that her career is still over? Does her message rub you the right way? Travis Rudolph Found Not Guilty In Murder Trial

Travis Rudolph, who appeared in seven NFL games in 2017 was arrested on suspicion of murder in 2021. He was charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder after a shooting at a residence in Lake Park, Florida. According to investigators, a group of individuals visited Rudolph to confront him about domestic violence allegations. In response, Rudolph allegedly opened fire on the group with an AR-15-style pistol. One person was killed and another was injured.

While Rudolph did not deny that he had opened fire on the group, his lawyers attempted to have the charges thrown out under Florida’s Stand Your Ground law. However, the motion was denied and Rudolph was arraigned to face trial. During the trial, texts from Rudolph’s ex-girlfriend showed that she had asked her brother and his friends to “shoot up” Rudolph’s house.

Jury Finds Rudolph Not Guilty

On June 7, after a two-week trial, a jury found Travis Rudolph not guilty on all charges. Emotions were tense in the courtroom before the jury delivered their verdict. The family of Sebastian Jean Jacques, the man who died during the incident, declined to speak with the media. Meanwhile, Rudolph’s sister said “It means freedom. It means truth. God has set us free, and they have the truth now. The world has seen everything, and now it’s up to the jury to make the decision.”

During the trial, Rudolph testified that four men, Keishaun Jones, Tyler Robinson, Chris Lowe, and Sebastian Jean-Jacques, came over to his house on April 7, 2021 to physically hurt or kill him. Jones and Robinson had both received the text messages from Rudolph’s ex-girlfriend, who allegedly sought revenge for Rudolph’s alleged infidelity. Jones was the brother of the ex-girlfriend. As the decision was read, Rudolph was embraced by his family, finally free after over two years of dealing with this complex legal case. The jury returned a verdict after just two hours of deliberation. During the past two years, Rudolph had spent time in both jail and under house arrest. One of the first things to happen after the verdict was the removal of an ankle monitor.

Lil Mosey Found Not Guilty In Rape Case

Content Warning: this article includes graphic details of sexual assault that some readers might find triggering.

Lil Mosey is in the clear following accusations of rape in 2021. According to TMZ, a jury found the “Blueberry Faygo” rapper not guilty of a second-degree rape charge on Thursday as he maintained his innocence since the charges emerged. A key component in the verdict relied on a polygraph test that he passed regarding the incident that went down in Washington in 2021. The rapper has yet to comment on the matter but with the case behind him, he can now focus on his career.

A woman claimed that Mosey and his friend assaulted her and her girlfriend after visiting him at a cabin. In the affidavit, she said that she consented to have sexual relations with Mosey, only to black out shortly after. She said that she woke up to Mosey on top of her. His accuser said she blacked out again to find another man on top of her. She claimed that she suffered bruising on her arm, neck, and knee while alleging that the rapper and his friend bragged about “training two girls” during the house party.

Lil Mosey Denied Allegations

The rapper’s maintained his innocence since the charges emerged. Though the woman claimed she blacked out from alcohol, which wouldn’t allow her to consent, he pushed the court to introduce evidence that revealed previous sexual encounters. Due to Washington’s “rape shield” statute, they usually prevent prior sexual relationships to be admitted into evidence. The judge eventually blocked the evidence from entering the trial.

Shortly after the jury cleared him of wrongdoing in the case, the rapper began to plot the release of new music. He shared a snippet on his Instagram page, which seems like it could possibly address the incident at length. However, he thanked his fans and supporters for staying by his side throughout the trial. “Spent 2 years of my life going thru the storm and I’m happy to say that God finally brought the truth to light. Thank you,” he captioned the post. Check out his response from his Instagram page above.

Tyre Nichols: All 5 Former Memphis Police Plead Not Guilty

The five former Memphis police officers charged with second degree murder for the death of Tyre Nichols all pleaded not guilty to the crime. Moreover, the court arraigned Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr., and Justin Smith on Friday morning (February 17). Furthermore, officials also charged them with aggravated assault and kidnapping. In addition, Memphis PD terminated them from their posts on January 21, shortly after the incident. Their next court date is on May 1, and the judge said the case may take some time.

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, UNITED STATES – 2023/01/27: Protesters hold placards and a banner in Downtown Boston expressing their opinion concerning the police killing of Tyre Nichols. “This is the beginning of the process,” Nichols’ mother RowVaughn Wells stated after the hearing. “I want each and every one of those police officers to look me in the face. They did not do that today.” Alongside attorney Ben Crump, Nichols’ family spoke to the media in a press conference following Friday’s hearing. “It’s important that we move swiftly toward justice, so we don’t want there to be any unnecessary delays in prosecuting this case,” Crump expressed. However, one of the police officer’s attorneys said that much about the case is still unclear.

“There’s a lot we don’t know,” said attorney William Casey, who represents defendant Martin. “There’s a lot that we don’t see, and we want to be able to present a complete picture of this stop, particularly the initial stop.” Not only did the police department fire these officers, but they shut down the SCORPION Unit they belonged to. “That particular night, you’re looking at an isolated incident and [trying] to measure the person.” That was defense attorney John Keith Perry, representative of former officer Bean.

Furthermore, the five officials beat Nichols at a traffic stop, who was a 29-year-old father. He passed away three days after the incident, and footage from the stop made rounds on media platforms. Also, authorities will issue a “statement of charges” to several more Memphis force members for policy violations in this case. While other law officials face repercussions for their involvement in the tragedy, most eyes are on the five defendants. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest pressing updates from the Tyre Nichols case.

Ex-Detective Not Guilty Of Charges Connected To Breonna Taylor’s Deadly Raid

breonna taylor deadly raid

The only LMPD officer charged in connection to the deadly raid on Breonna Taylor’s apartment is not guilty of wanton endangerment.

The jury found former Detective Brett Hankison not guilty and acquitted him on all three charges yesterday.

Hankison was charged with endangering neighbors by firing the shots into Taylor’s apartment. The jury deliberated for about three hours before coming up with the verdict.

READ MORE: Jury selection begins in case surrounding Breonna Taylor’s death.

Hankison and LMPD officers Myles Cosgrove and Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly fired 32 shots into Taylor’s apartment.

Hankison fired 10 of the shots into Taylor’s apartment. Errant bullets penetrated a wall of the residence and entered a neighboring apartment that was occupied by a child, a man, and a pregnant woman, according to ABC News.

Brett Hankison testified he opened fire because he thought two other cops were being executed. Those two have already been cleared from the deadly 2020 botched no-knock warrant raid on Breonna Taylor’s home.

Following the acquittal demonstrators packed Jefferson Square Park and marched through the downtown area last night with one protester saying “there’s no such thing as a peaceful protest,” adding “they won’t be controlled, this time.” More protests are expected today in Louisville.

There were no drugs were found, and the no-knock warrant was later deemed to be flawed and faulty.
