Leading up to the debut album, Mooski established himself as a viral sensation with over 475+ million views on TikTok and 42+ million global streams across all digital streaming platforms. The “Track Star” TikTok challenge inspired Keyshia Cole, Lala Anthony, Dream Doll, and Halle Berry. Additionally, Trey Songz and Jacquees both remixed it. Ahead of the new album, Mooski’s “Track Star” achieved platinum certification by the RIAA.

After releasing a series of new music videos for album songs “Be Strong,” “Soul Bleed,” and “Scuba Diving,” Mooski shares a 13-song debut that addresses unspoken issues in our culture through his personal experiences. We hear Mooski sing about the rollercoaster ride in love and heartbreak, social issues, mental health, and survivor’s remorse in the debut. As he bares his soul, the album’s soulful production amplifies the clarity in the messages the accomplished artist is eager to get across to fans, both new and old.

Outside of the a-list features and hit singles, the debut delivers a standout cut in “Counting Time,” which samples the R&B classic by Anthony Hamilton, “Charlene.” On the song, Mooski reminisces on a relationship that ran its course while pleading with his lover for a second chance. He sings, “Time (More time) / All she ever wanted was mine / Blinded by my greed, I failed to read all of the signs / Love is all she need, forget the Dior and the diamonds / Deep off in my mind / Thinking ’bout the thousand times / She said she would leave, but this time she wasn’t lyin’ / This time she was ready / And she didn’t regret it / She left our picture but she didn’t forget it (That’s how I know it’s over).”

The new certification was also met with even bigger news for the Bama Boy. Last week it was revealed that Mooski is expecting his first child, a son, arriving this April. Making the announcement on Instagram with a photo of him and his girlfriend holding up baby clothes that said “Lil Moo” with the caption, “All smiles knowing my son Ozzie is coming in April. Daddy waiting on you lil one #1stborn.”

Chris Brown’s Rape Accuser’s Testimony Is Called Into Question As Her Text History Contradicts Her Claims

In what could quite possibly be one of the worst outcomes for this situation, the anonymous woman who accused Chris Brown of drugging and raping her on Diddy’s yacht has apparently been dropped by her lawyers after new evidence complicated her case, according to Rolling Stone. During the investigation and discovery process, the Miami Police Department found text messages between the alleged victim and Brown that lawyers George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell feel “precluded” them from proceeding with the case.

Gossip site Radar Online was apparently able to procure excerpts of a text conversation (apparently provided by Brown) between the Jane Doe and Chris Brown in which the two exchanged flirtatious missives, with the woman sending nude photos and expressing disappointment after their exchanges became one-sided. And while that’s not a sign that her claims aren’t true, it is something that apparently made her legal team take pause and reconsider the case.

The outcome sucks because if Jane Doe is really telling the truth, that Chris Brown drugged and raped her in 2020 as she claims, then it means intrinsic biases on the parts of the police and her lawyers (you know, because it’s believed that false claims are filed against famous men out of spite or greed) combined with her own text history have undermined her case. However, if she lied as Brown claims and is only shaking him down for money, suing him for $20 million, then her case could potentially undermine hundreds, if not thousands of legitimate future claims made by women who just need help (because of the same reason for the above parenthetical).

This certainly doesn’t mean that the case is dead, but Jane Doe will need to find a new lawyer willing to take on the case with this new information at hand. If not the case will be dismissed for lack of service on Brown. Either way, plenty of damage could have already been done, both to Brown’s tarnished reputation and to women’s safety. Meanwhile, Brown is still facing another case of battery at a Miami Beach hotel.

Chris Brown Is Being Investigated For Battery Against Two Women In Separate Incidents

Once again, Chris Brown finds himself in potential trouble with the law. According to Miami’s NBC 6, the singer is being investigated for allegations of battery by two women for separate incidents that occurred more than a year ago in Miami. The investigation comes after the first woman sued Brown for $20 million for allegedly drugging and raping her on a yacht. He also has a copyright infringement case on his lap for “No Guidance,” his 2019 collaboration with Drake.

The first woman, who is a choreographer, dancer, model, and recording artist, claims the drugging and rape took place on December 30, 2020, and that it occurred during a party on a yacht that was docked near Diddy’s home. The second woman says she was uncomfortable on the yacht and decided to leave the party. However, two days later, the second woman and her friend were invited to meet Brown at his Miami Beach hotel suite.

According to the police report, during her time there, the second woman says that he approached her and shoved two of his fingers into her mouth. She alleges that his fingers had a white powdery substance on them and that she blacked out for several hours and woke up in the suite without her friends or her cell phone. She later filed a report with Miami Beach Police after learning about the lawsuit that the first woman filed against Brown.

Miami Beach Police confirmed to NBC 6 that both incidents are under investigation and that once it is complete, it will be up to prosecutors to decide whether or not to file charges.

Chris Brown Is Being Sued For $20 Million By A Woman Who Says He Drugged And Raped Her On A Yacht

Chris Brown is being sued by a woman who says he drugged and raped her on a yacht, according to Rolling Stone, which obtained a copy of the lawsuit. The woman, a choreographer, dancer, model, and recording artist, is asking for $20 million; the lawsuit says that the incident took place on December 30 near Diddy’s Star Island home, where the boat was docked.

The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, says a friend invited her and another woman to the yacht, where Brown expressed an interest in helping her with her music career. She says after Brown made her two drinks, she became “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.” Brown allegedly led her to a bedroom, blocked her attempts to leave, undressed her, and raped her. The next day, he also allegedly told her to take a Plan B pill.

In a statement, Jane Doe’s attorney, Ariel E. Mitchell of Vrabeck Adams & Company, said, “My partner [George Vrabeck] and I want to ensure all parties are held accountable so that we may begin to eradicate this behavior from our society.”

Brown appeared to address the accusation on his Instagram Story, writing, “I hope y’all see this pattern of [cap]. Whenever I’m releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullsh*t.” Brown was previously accused of rape in Paris in 2019, however, the case was dropped due to lack of evidence.
