Boosie Unleashes On Gunna For “Ratting With Respect”

Boosie Badazz just dragged Gunna through the mud in his latest interview with VladTV. Moreover, he called the rapper out for his plea deal in the YSL case and treating prosecutors with a lot of respect as he gave information. Court footage from the Atlanta rapper’s deal released after he walked out of Fulton County Jail, and showed him answering politely and affirmatively as an attorney read through the plea statement. With all that in mind, the Louisiana rapper did not hold back when discussing Gunna’s deal and his attitude throughout it, despite him denying any snitching at all.

“They should remix his s**t, ‘Yes ma’am,’” Boosie began. “I been waiting on a song. Man these n***as answering with respect! They rattin’ with respect! We don’t even tell our elders ‘Yes ma’am’ like that no more. You don’t hear people saying ‘Yes ma’am’ like they usually do. But you tell a f***in’ prosecutor, ‘Yes ma’am.’ That made it even worse. You put mayonnaise on the f***in’ sandwich.” Earlier in the clip, Vlad asks Boosie whether he thinks Gunna can make a comeback in the rap game, to which he had an interesting answer.

Boosie Badazz Goes Off On Gunna Ratting With Respect

“I don’t think he can get back to where he was,” he remarked. “‘Cause if you love Thugger, you can’t love Gunna. You live in a f***in’ fantasy world. If you got love for Thugger and you love Gunna, you a f**k n***a or f**k b***h.” Of course, Badazz’s comments on the former YSL affiliate aren’t surprising, considering he was among the first in the game to express scorn for his actions. This was back when he pled guilty to one count of racketeering conspiracy in December of 2022.

“Rat THIS WOULD HAVE PUT TEARS N MY EYES MY BROTHER,” Boosie captioned a post of the court footage. “MY ARTIST LIKE WTF IM FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE. THAT IM NOT RUNNING A GANG/CRIMINALENTERPRIZE N YOU DO THIS TO BIGDOG UKNOW ITS A GANG .. THE GUNS N DRUGS NOT YOURS.. WELL WHO ELSE WAS NTHE CAR THEY CAN BE FOR SMH.” Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Gunna and Boosie Badazz.

Angela Yee Reponds To “The Breakfast Club” Backlash: “Didn’t Anticipate This Would Cause A Firestorm”

Now that it’s been a few weeks since her exit from The Breakfast Club, Angela Yee has been getting candid about the years she spent working alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. “I was the only woman who worked there, too. When it came to producers, camera people – and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” the media personality explained on the Tamron Hall Show earlier this week. “I feel like I did need more like backup.”

Following the 47-year-old’s interview, her former cohosts – and past guests on the radio show – were quick to chime in with their opinions. Both Erica Mena and Lil Mama had plenty to say about Yee being just as bad as her male counterparts, who have previously been known to make women cry with their comments. Additionally, the former pointed out that Angela was aware of DJ Envy’s marriage when knowingly watched the mother of three hook up with him, thinking he was single.

DJ Envy Calls Cap

For his part, the New York entertainer has markedly called cap on his former coworker’s claims. “That’s just not true,” he wrote in The Shade Room‘s Instagram comments earlier this weekend. “There are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on @breakfastclubam.” In an interview, Envy spoke further on the situation, telling the media that he believes Yee “misspoke” when discussing her time on the show.

“It was her, Charlamagne and myself, so she was the only woman on air,” he noted. “But behind the scenes, I mean, our boss – the actual person that pays our bills and pays our checks and hires us – is Thea Mitchem, who’s a woman. I think she misspoke, I think the words were taken out of I guess technicality. I’m sure she would clean it up, but there’s a lot of women who work on that show,” DJ Envy later added.

Angela Yee Addresses the Drama

Turns out his prediction was correct, as Yee used her Twitter account to address the rampantly running gossip. “Usually I don’t comment or go back and forth with people, but there’s too much spinning,” she began. “‘In the room’ referred to the people in the studio: the producer, board op, videographer, and hosts. Yes, they are men. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t amazing women who are execs, salespeople, interns, and in other departments,” the entertainer explained in a series of posts.

“I’ve said it on many occasions: that it can be hard when your viewpoint is different based on your experience,” she went on. “I didn’t anticipate that this would cause such a firestorm.” Keep scrolling to read Yee’s full explanation, and let us know if you miss hearing her on The Breakfast Club in the comments.

Chris Rock Mocks Will Smith During Comedy Special, Twitter Reacts

Chris Rock just mocked Will Smith during his newest comedy special on Netflix, taking aim at various topics in Smith’s life. Of course, many associate the two primarily with the infamous Oscars slap, in which Rock made a joke about Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith and her husband got up and slapped Rock across the face onstage. However, the Saturday night special (March 4) saw the actor make jokes about the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in a lot more areas. For example, he mocked the interview where the couple talked about Jada’s affair, and it resulted in mixed opinions online.

“You all know what happened… Suge Smith [slapped me],” the Hollywood star began. “Everybody knows, everybody f***ing knows. I got smacked at the f***ing Oscars by this motherf***er. And people are like “Did it hurt?” It still hurts. I got Summertime ringing in my ear f***ing drums. But I’m not a victim, you will never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying you will never see it, like, ‘I couldn’t believe it and I love Men in Black.’ No, it’s never going to happen… But Will Smith practices selective outrage because everyone that knows what happened, everybody that really knows, knows I had nothing to do with that s**t. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f***ing her son’s friend.

Chris Rock Mocks Will Smith

“Now I normally wouldn’t talk about this s**t,” Rock continued. “But for some reason these n***as put that s**t on the Internet. I have no idea why two talented people would do something that f***ing low down. What the f**k? We’ve all been cheated on, everybody in here has been cheated on. None of us have been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television, like ‘Hey, I was sucking somebody else’s d**k, how did that make you feel?’ Why the f**k would you do that s**t?

“She hurt him way more than he hurt me, OK,” he wrapped up. “Everybody in the world called him a b***h. I tried to call the motherf***er and give him my condolences. He wouldn’t pick up for me. Everybody called him a b***h. And who is he hitting? Me, a n***a he knows he can be beat. That is some b***h a** s**t… I have rooted for Will Smith my whole life and now I watch Emancipation just to see him get whooped… A lot of people are like ‘Chris why didn’t you do nothing back?’ Because I got parents that’s why, because I was raised. And you know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people.” Let us know what you thought of the special in the comments and check out more reactions below.

DJ Envy Calls Cap On Angela Yee’s “The Breakfast Club” Comments, Erica Mena & Lil Mama Join In

Angela Yee’s departure from The Breakfast Club came as a surprise to many. Still, with so many years in the industry under her belt, the media personality isn’t having a hard time staying booked and busy. Unfortunately for her, that may all be about to change thanks to comments she made on the Tamron Hall Show about her time spent working alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God. According to her, working in a male-dominated environment left her feeling a lack of support while doing her job.

“I was the only woman who worked there, too. When it came to producers, camera people – and it wasn’t an easy room for me to be in,” the 47-year-old vented earlier this week. “I feel like I did need more like backup you know because even things that I felt, as a woman… Somebody can’t understand your point of view because they’re not coming from where you come from. So that was hard for me too, to be the only woman there.” As footage of Yee’s interview continues to circulate, one of her former cohosts is calling cap.

DJ Envy Denies Yee’s Claims

In @theshaderoom’s comment section, DJ Envy dropped by to defend The Breakfast Club. “That’s just not true,” he wrote. “There are plenty of women that work behind the scenes on the @breakfastclubam.” Elsewhere in the same comment section, TV personality Erica Mena had a few things to say as well. “Is this the same woman who helped DJ Shrimp play along in living this double life once upon a time? One of the few at the time that actually knew the truth of him being married (because for years he never openly acknowledge that – which is why I was one of many he was with),” she began.

Afterward the mother of three accused Yee of knowingly letting her hook up with a married man, she added, “[She] still joined in with him, fabricating this cry world scenario on the radio just so he can save face in his broken marriage. The same woman that spoke about my child on air just [to] help him degrade me?! The f*cking nerve! Boy, do things come full circle!”

Erica and Lil Mama Speak Their Truth

As more receipts exposing the Lip Service hostess have been coming out, a former guest on The Breakfast Club, Lil Mama, is also speaking her truth. She was previously left in tears during her stint on the show and obviously feels as though Yee didn’t do anything to help her from feeling like the only woman in the room at that moment.

“Oh PLEASE, she was up there playing foul games too,” the “Lip Gloss” artist pointed out. “She has helped make multiple women (of colour especially) feel like the only woman in that room numerous times. #RockThrowingHandHidingBitch.” Keep scrolling to read the starlet’s comments about Angela Yee for yourself, and check back later for more pop culture news.

T.I. Says He Has No Beef With Boosie

T.I. recently stated that he has no beef with Boosie Badazz, despite what recent weeks indicated. For those of you unaware, the two engaged in a social media spat after Boosie called off their joint album, saying that T.I. snitched on his late cousin. Now, TMZ caught up with him outside The Cheesecake Factory, where he laughed off the feud when first asked about it. Moreover, he told the publication that “someone misspoke,” referring to Boosie, and that he knows he’s wrong. Furthermore, the Atlanta icon said that they’ll work out those issues between themselves and not in the public eye.

The way it should’ve been in the first place,” Tip said of the two making amends outside of the media spotlight. In addition, he expressed that these situations are bigger than any handful of tracks, and said that’s why getting the music out there isn’t the main focus for him right now. Also, as a bit of an extra question, the interviewer asked T.I. what advice he has for young rappers trying to make it. “They gon’ have to go through it to get through it,” he remarked, saying his advice is nothing compared to an individual’s experiences.

T.I. Has No Beef With Boosie, Apparently

Meanwhile, the “Live Your Life” MC actually instigated plenty of furtherance of this Boosie feud online, so his words here are a bit odd. For example, he posted paperwork allegedly proving Boosie’s claims and information were false. In fact, he even invited him to a live event so the Baton Rouge rapper could see them for himself. However, he didn’t make it to the venue, which T.I. was not happy with.

“Let a motherf***er know that the paperwork was present,” he stated to many fans. “I’ve been waiting on one special invited guest to show up, but he ain’t showed up yet. But he ain’t here to see my paperwork. So come on if you got something to say. I wanna see who wanna see, you hear me? After you see what you need to see, it’s on you now.” Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest on T.I. and Boosie Badazz.

Nicki Minaj Shades Megan Thee Stallion, Latto On “Red Ruby Da Sleeze”

Nicki Minaj doesn’t need to pop out but when she does, there’s certainly something worth addressing. And in recent months, the Pink Friday rapper has undoubtedly found herself trading words with a few of the new generation of rappers – many of which she’s influenced. Her issues with Latto took center stage when the Grammy nominations emerged. Her chart-topping single, “Super Freaky Girl” was shifted out of the rap categories, leading to a negative mention of Latto over the success of her massive hit record “Big Energy.”

On top of her issues with Latto, fans speculate that there’s been tension between Nicki and Megan Thee Stallion. Though Nicki embraced Meg when she first came on the scene, collaborating on “Hot Girl Summer,” it seemed as though things took a turn when “WAP” came out. Meg’s decision to work with Nicki’s nemesis ultimately severed their relationship and it seems that Nicki Minaj is out for blood these days.

Nicki Takes Shots At Megan

There’s a lot to unpack on Nicki’s “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” especially the numerous subliminal shots she takes across the record. There are numerous points where she takes aim at the other women who are killing it in rap. She seemingly references Latto as a Karen, once again, when she raps, “We don’t be Karen like Donna-na, na-na-na-na.” Nicki previously called Latto “Karen” during a back-and-forth on Twitter.

However, it’s the subtle aim at Megan Thee Stallion that feels prominent across the record. During the first verse, she raps, “700 on them horses when we fixin’ to leave/ But I don’t fuck with horses since Christopher Reeve.” Then, there’s a reference to Doritos, a brand that struck a deal with Megan Thee Stallion” “Dorito bitches mad that they not chose.” Finally, Nicki seemingly references allegations that Tory Lanez’s told Megan “dance, bitch” the night she was shot. “That .40 cal a make ’em dance like a go-go,” Nicki raps. All in all, fans are convinced that Nicki’s addressing a few of her adversaries in hip-hop. Check out the song above and a few reactions below.

Lil Durk Wants Blogs To “Stop Click Baiting Smurk” Amid Release Date Drama

The one-year anniversary of Lil Durk’s 7220 album is quickly approaching, and for some time now, the Chicago native has been teasing a follow-up project for fans. The 17-track effort found him working with Future, Gunna, Summer Walker, and Morgan Wallen, setting expectations high for whatever he’s got in store next. Unfortunately, some recent rap beef is beginning to overshadow excitement surrounding The Voice 2.0.

As you may have seen online earlier this week, the “Laugh Now Cry Later” collaborator seemingly reignited his past feud with NBA YoungBoy and Quando Rondo. “I can drop this single and f*ck the streets up, on God,” Durkio wrote on Instagram recently. “Your release date ain’t safe son.” Though he didn’t explicitly name-drop anyone in the post, internet sleuths assumed he was dissing the Never Broke Again artists.

Lil Durk’s Back & Forth with Quando Rondo and NBA YoungBoy

As AceShowBiz notes, YoungBoy’s Don’t Try This at Home album is due to drop sometime in April. The Louisana native has already had a busy year, previously sharing 19 titles on I Rest My Case as well as a single called, “Next.” For Quando’s part, he’s been steadily working on his forthcoming release, 1633. He’s already unveiled the cover art, also announcing that his work will be dedicated to the late Lul Pab, who lost his life in a tragic shooting last year.

“One more month,” the 23-year-old wrote. “I put my heart in this album, seen a lot of blood sweat and tears. Lost my right-hand man in front of my eyes. I love you thug, I’m going number one for you big brah.” In response to Durk’s apparent sneak diss, Quando wrote on his own Story, “Drop that shit, we all on a time schedule!” Clearly, the Savannah native is unbothered by any potential competition from his fellow rapper.

Back in Album Mode

In wake of the interesting social media exchange, blogs began lighting up with rumours of beef between OTF and NBA. For his part, the father of six is attempting to combat the drama with yet another message written on his IG Story. “If I don’t say it out loud, it’s not real,” he reminded readers before asking them to “stop click-baiting Smurk.”

“Back to album,” he confirmed, though an official release date and other details surrounding the highly anticipated project are unknown at this time. Who do you hope to see Lil Durk work with on The Voice 2.0? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Chrisean Rock’s Baby Will Be Named After Blueface, She Says On “Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson”

We haven’t received many updates on Chrisean Rock’s pregnancy since she broke the big news earlier this year. It came as she and Blueface were amid severe turmoil, and even found the 26-year-old vehemently denying paternity of the unborn child. In the weeks since we’ve seen the Crazy In Love stars spending plenty of time together, from hitting up the gym for workouts to causing drama on Instagram Live.

Without new weekly episodes of their Zeus series to entertain the masses, fans of the couple have been happy to see them in the press doing plenty of interviews. Of course, some have come with their share of drama, but for their latest sitdown, the chaotic couple was noticeably more well-behaved than usual. In an interview that premiered earlier this week, Rock told Mike Tyson that she plans to name her first child after her “Lit” collaborator.

It’s Baby Blueface!

“Is it a girl, or boy? Or you can’t tell yet?” the professional fighter asked the expecting mother during the latest episode of his Hotboxin’ podcast. Rock confirmed that she’s currently unaware of the baby’s gender, but plans to name a boy after the “Thotiana” rapper. In the case she’s having a girl, the little one will take on a variation of her name.

It remains unclear exactly how far along the Baddies cast member is, though this isn’t her first time being pregnant with Blueface’s baby. In another interview, Chrisean says she’s had at least three past abortions because she didn’t quite feel ready for motherhood. She’s also taken comments from those encouraging her to reconsider her desire to be a mother very personally, lashing out at anyone condemning her for keeping the pregnancy.

Mike Tyson Asks the Real Questions

Elsewhere on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the athlete spoke candidly with the couple about their public history of physical violence with one another. At one point, the host suggested that Blueface enjoys being “beat on” by his girl, to which he said, “It’s like a weird situation to be in. It’s like you wanna fight but it’s like… I don’t know.” Afterward, Tyson revealed that he and his wife would often get into spats as a result of drinking alcohol.

“Me and my wife used to fight, but we stopped fighting,” the multi-talent told his guests. “Once we stopped drinking, we stopped fighting,” he added before the California-born rapper asked him what cause their altercations. “Jealousy,” Tyson explained, calling himself an “idiot” for being insecure over other men looking at his wife. Check it all out in the video above, and come back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Lil Durk & Quando Rondo Trade Shots Over Release Dates

The feud between OTF and Never Broke Again continues to escalate as Lil Durk and Quando Rondo appear to be revving up to release new music. Over the past few months, Durk’s continued to hint at the release of a new project, though he hasn’t provided much information on it. The rapper dropped his last album, 7220, over a year ago before releasing OTF’s Loyal Bros project in December. Clearly, he’s preparing to have the summer on lock with his follow-up.

In recent weeks, he’s hyped up the release. First, he mentioned that the forthcoming project “ain’t regular,” though he didn’t indicate what to expect. Most recently, he made it clear that he’s willing to step on anyone’s release date without fear. “I can drop this single and f*ck the streets up on god,” he wrote on Instagram this week. “Your release date ain’t safe son son.” It seemed unclear who is was targeting but the recent response from the Never Broke Again crew signals that they took it personally.

Quando Rondo Responds To Durk

This morning, NBA Youngboy allegedly addressed Durk’s latest post in a series of tweets from a new account. YB didn’t mince his words, either, calling Durk “old” while proving Joe Budden’s theory that the “Stop The Violence” campaign didn’t come from a genuine place. “Kiss my ass bitch see me in the streets,” YB wrote on Twitter. “Old ass think he slick stop watching me,” he added in another tweet while referring to Durk as a fan.

Though Quando Rondo certainly doesn’t have the numbers to back him like Durk or Youngboy, he evidently has little issue with the Chicago rapper dropping on the same day as him. He responded to Durk’s post about release dates, writing, “Drop that shit we all on a time schedule!” Quando Rondo previously stated that his upcoming album will drop in a month, which he’ll dedicate to the late Lul Pab, who was fatally shot last summer.  “Seen a lot of blood  sweat and tears I lost my right hand man in front of my eyes I love you thug I’m going number 1 for you big brah,” Rondos said earlier this week.
