Jamie Foxx Jokes About Being Cloned, Plans To Detail Health Scare In Upcoming Comedy Special

Jamie Foxx joked about the conspiracy theories that he’s been cloned while accepting the Producer Award at the African-American Film Critics Association Awards. In doing so, he referenced his history of dating white women. The rumors about him being a clone sparked, last year, when he disappeared from the public eye with an undiagnosed health complication for several months.

“I’ll be going back to my stand-up sort of roots, and I’ll tell you in my way,” he said of his illness. “It’ll be called ‘What Had Happened Was,’ And it’s got all the things that have happened—especially on our side in our community. Being cloned and all kinds of sh*t. N****s will come up with anything. Motherf*cking clone, he a clone!’ Even when they saw me out. ‘That ain’t no goddamn Jamie, that’s a clone!’ I’m on a boat [waving my hand], ‘No! that’s a clone!’ I dove out of a car to save this Black woman’s purse, and I’m taking a picture, and they go, ‘That ain’t no damn Jamie, that’s a clone!’”

Dave Chappelle Takes Aim At Trans Community & Disabled People In New Netflix Special

These days, Dave Chappelle is known for standing by his non-PC approach to comedy, and his new special is no exception. The Dreamer arrived on Netflix today, raising eyebrows and getting social media users talking. The special features various jokes about the trans community, disabled people, Will Smith’s infamous Oscars slap, and even Lil Nas X.

One of Chappelle’s jokes centered around him meeting Jim Carrey on the set of Man On The Moon, in which the actor stars as Andy Kaufman. “I was very disappointed because I wanted to meet Jim Carrey and I had to pretend he was Andy Kaufman all afternoon. It was clearly Jim Carrey. I could look at him and clearly see it was Jim Carrey,” he explained, citing Carrey’s method-acting. “I say all that to say … that’s how trans people make me feel.”

He later joked that in an attempt to mend his relationship with the trans community, he wrote a play about a trans woman. “To be honest with you, I’ve been trying to repair my relationship with the transgender community cause I don’t want them to think that I don’t like them… You know how I’ve been repairing it? I wrote a play. I did. Cause I know that gays love plays. It’s a very sad play, but it’s moving,” he described, “It’s about a Black transgender woman whose pronoun is, sadly, n***a. It’s a tear-jerker. At the end of the play she dies of loneliness cause white liberals don’t know how to speak to her. It’s sad.”

Chappelle didn’t stop there, however. He went on to joke that he’d now be targeting disabled people. “Tonight, I’m doing all handicapped jokes,” he declared. “They’re not as organized as the gays and I love punching down.” What do you think of the jokes Dave Chappelle made about trans people in his new Netflix special? Tiffany Haddish DUI Blamed For Sudden Cancelation Of Kevin Hart Show

The decision to abruptly reschedule a Kevin Hart comedy special from this weekend to next June has been blamed by many fans on Tiffany Haddish’s recent DUI. Hart was meant to headline a comedy special at Lucas Oil Live on December 15. However, the show will now place in June 2024. Many fans have blamed this on the fact that Tiffany Haddish was publicly named as one of the supporting acts. Haddish is still looking to bounce back in the public eye from a Thanksgiving arrest for a DUI, her second in two years. No official reason was given for the sudden cancelation. Chelsea Handler was also due to perform at the event.

However, Haddish’s work may not be the only thing being affected by her recent arrest. Her friends have also expressed concern about the Thanksgiving incident. “As soon as I heard it, I said ‘goddamn, I’m glad she’s okay. But it seems weird to me. You would think that someone would have a driver in that situation. This is tough because there’s nothing anybody’s gonna say to take away that this is her second offense. The way people look at drinking and driving. Hopefully there’s a lesson to be learned. If people want to be critical, I say f-ck that — you don’t know what a person is going through. You don’t know what’s troubling a person,” one of Haddish’s friends told The New York Post.

Tiffany Haddish Makes Light Of DUI

Furthermore, some fans have theorized that Hart and his team might be trying to avoid the optics of Haddish joking about the DUI. This is something she has done a few times since being arrested on Thanksgiving. Appearing at The Laugh Factory in Long Beach just days after being arrested, Haddish joked that her “prayers for a man in uniform” had “been answered”. It’s a line that Haddish has used previously, namely when addressing her 2022 DUI in Georgia on The Tonight Show.

However, her tune has changed in the subsequent weeks. “I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries. This will never happen again,” Haddish said in early December. Despite this, fans and friends remain concerned. Fans discovered a video posted by Haddish hours before her arrest. The video, posted to Haddish’s Instagram, shows the comedian explaining to her fans what is going on. “I’m in Inglewood trying to go to the Habesha party. Trying to get my East African on. I’ve been partying with the white people. Now I’m trying to party with my East Africans, and they won’t let me in the club.” It’s unclear why Haddish was being denied entry to the club. However, she was eventually let in. After gaining entry, Haddish immediately asks “where’s the bar” before the video ends.

Dave Chappelle’s New Netflix Special Drops On New Year’s Eve

Dave Chappelle is returning to Netflix at the end of December with a brand-new comedy special. The unnamed special is Chappelle’s first on the platform since 2021’s incredibly controversial The Closer. That special, which hinged heavily on jokes about the LGBTQ+ community, garnered widespread criticism and even led to an employee walkout at Netflix. However, Netflix stood by the comedian and continued their deal with Chappelle. This upcoming special will be Chappelle’s seventh for the platform. His partnership with Netflix dates back to 2017, when he dropped four specials in a single year.

The new special, which drops on New Year’s Eve, was promoted with a brief trailer that used Morgan Freeman to announce that “Dave is back”. There’s no word on what sort of material that Chappelle will be covering. However, he’s never been one to shy away from controversial topics. Expect a lot of outrage once the full show drops in a few weeks time. Will you be watching Chappelle’s new show? Let us know in the comments.

Dave Chappelle’s Israel-Palestine Comments Cause Walkout

Meanwhile, Chappelle saw several audience members walk out of his show in Boston in October after he decided to speak on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. No footage of the set is online, as Chappelle confiscated the audience’s phones before he began. While Chappelle condemned the initial Hamas attack on Israel, he said that students in the US shouldn’t be losing job offers for supporting Palestine. Several Ivy League students have reported experiencing such consequences for publicly supporting Palestine.

However, Chappelle doubled down, stating that the Israeli response to the Hamas attack has been disproportionate and going as far as to accuse Israel of war crimes. Not stopping there, Chappelle also accused the US of aiding and abetting the Israeli atrocities thanks to their full-throated support fo the nation. The comments led several audience members to leave the show early, according to sources who spoke with TMZ.

Jada Pinkett Smith Thinks She’ll “Take Care” Of Will Smith In Old Age, Was “Hurt” By Chris Rock’s Oscars Slap Jokes

During a recent interview, Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about her relationship with her husband, Will Smith. She revealed that the two of them have actually been separated for quite some time, and kept their split a secret from the public. According to her, they’ve led “completely separate lives” since 2016.

She went on to describe how the two of them continue to have a “deep love” for one another, despite no longer being “romantically together.” While their end goal was to eventually divorce, she claims it never “felt right” for them. “We don’t know why. But here we are,” she says. Though they’re taking some time to figure out what’s next for their relationship, Jada believes they’ll reunite at some point in the future. She spoke about her beliefs during a chat with The Times recently, claiming that she thinks her estranged husband will need someone to care for him. “I think eventually we will [live together again.] I really do,” she explained. “Will’s getting old. I’m staying quite young, but it’s getting apparent to me that he’s gonna need someone to take care of him.

Jada’s revelation that she and Will are no longer an item came as a shock to fans, particularly considering his outburst at the 2022 Oscars. Famously, comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Jada’s appearance, which led her husband to slap him in the face. She opened up about the aftermath of the incident with The New York Times recently, revealing that the entire situation was confusing and painful for her. Rock joked about the slap in his comedy special Selective Outrage, which Jada says “hurt.”

“I remember my heart piercing, my heart cracking, and I remember my feelings being so hurt,” she explained. “And then I remember being able to smile and wish him well at the same time.” What do you think of Jada Pinkett Smith’s response to Chris Rock joking about Will Smith slapping him at the 2022 Oscars? Chris Rock’s Michael Jackson Pedophile Joke Slammed By King Of Pop’s Nephew

After enduring the embarrassment that came with last year’s “Slapgate,” Chris Rock had an undeniably huge opportunity to tell his side of the story this month. The comedian teamed up with Netflix for his latest comedy special, which spanned two and a half hours, and has already earned the Rush Hour actor significant backlash. Most of the criticism is coming from those accusing him of “punching down on Black women” for making disparaging comments about Meghan Markle and calling Jada Pinkett Smith a “bitch” on more than one occasion.

Elsewhere in the standup set, Rock made comments about the late Michael Jackson that aren’t sitting well with many viewers. “I’m all for social justice, I’m all for marginalized people getting they rights,” he says in the circulating clip. “The thing I have a problem with is… the selective outrage. Selective outrage! You know what I’m talking about! One person does something and gets cancelled, and somebody else does the exact same thing… Nothing!”

Chris Rock’s Controversial Comments

The 57-year-old continues, “You know what I’m talking about. You know, like the kind of people that play Michael Jackson songs, but won’t play R. Kelly.” At this point, a rumble of laughter is heard moving through the crowd, causing Rock to smile wide. “Same crime! One of ’em just got better songs. I play ‘Startin’ Something’ and it’s a party, but I play ‘Bump and Grind’ and you an activist,” he adds as the audience laughs on.

While Rock obviously got the laugh he was looking for on stage, online the response has been far less kind. In fact, the King of Pop’s nephew, Taj Jackson, loudly called the comedian out on Monday (March 6) before thanking the Gemini Man actor for slapping him. “Chris Rock has used my family as punching bags for his entire career,” the 49-year-old alleged in a tweet.

Taj Jackson Claps Back

“Yet I am supposed to feel bad for him getting slapped and humiliated [at] the Oscars. After seeing a new clip of him attacking my dead uncle in the first minutes of his ‘retaliation – I’m still relevant’ special, I have three things to say,” Jackson’s rant went on. “1. What did my family ever do to you to warrant these decades of harassment and your constant bullying [disguised] as jokes?”

For his second point, the former 3T member reminded Rock that, just because he experienced bullying as a child doesn’t give him the right to tear down others now. Jackson ended with, “3. Thank you, Will Smith,” seemingly praising the embattled actor for slapping the comedian nearly a year ago. Do you think that Chris’ comments about MJ were out of line? Chris Rock Calls Out Meghan Markle For “Racist” Royal Family Accusations: “Just Some In-Law Shit”

The last year has been an interesting one for Chris Rock. He previously found his world turned upside down following an altercation with Will Smith at the 2022 Oscars. While the comedian certainly felt the impact of the slap he received across the face from the actor, it was the latter whose career took several major hits as a result of his violent actions. Rock, on the other hand, was offered plenty of exciting opportunities, including a two-and-a-half-hour-long stand-up special.

The Netflix project finally made its debut on Saturday (March 4). As expected, the South Carolina-born entertainer didn’t hold back. On the long list of topics he addressed was obviously “Slapgate,” as it’s become known online, but that’s not all he had to vent about. Elsewhere in the lengthy performance, Rock shared his thoughts on Meghan Markle, who released a Netflix special of her own with her husband Prince Harry recently.

Chris’ Big Comedy Comeback

“Like who is this girl Meghan Markle? Seems like a nice lady, just complaining,” the Madagascar voice actor says in a video making rounds online. “Like didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery?” He then specifically referenced comments she made during an interview with Oprah in 2022. At the time, it was revealed that a member of the Royal Family previously raised questions about what colour their first son, Archie, would be due to the actresses’ interracial lineage.

Mocking Markle, Rock ranted to his audience. “‘They’re so racist, they’re so racist.’ Some of that shit she went through was not racism. It was just some in-law shit,” he insisted. “‘Oprah, they’re so racist. They wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be.’ That’s not racist. Even Black people want to know how brown the baby going to be.”

Rock Defends the Royal Family

Apparently, in the father of two’s family, it’s customary to “check behind the ears” of a newborn. This is “because you’ve got to know what kind of black child you going to get.” The funny man then described the range from light skin, like Steph Curry, to far darker complexions, like Draymond Green’s. After dissing Markle, Rock told listeners that he still sympathizes with what she’s been going through.

“I know her dilemma: Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws. Oh, it’s hard. It’s so hard – but it ain’t as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her black in-laws. Now that shit is really hard,” the entertainer laughed. “If you Black and you wanted to be accepted by your white in-laws then you need to marry a Kardashian because they accept everybody.” Read what Chris Rock had to say about his feud with Will Smith here, and let us know if you’ll be watching the comedy special in the comments.

Chris Rock Mocks Will Smith During Comedy Special, Twitter Reacts

Chris Rock just mocked Will Smith during his newest comedy special on Netflix, taking aim at various topics in Smith’s life. Of course, many associate the two primarily with the infamous Oscars slap, in which Rock made a joke about Will’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith and her husband got up and slapped Rock across the face onstage. However, the Saturday night special (March 4) saw the actor make jokes about the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in a lot more areas. For example, he mocked the interview where the couple talked about Jada’s affair, and it resulted in mixed opinions online.

“You all know what happened… Suge Smith [slapped me],” the Hollywood star began. “Everybody knows, everybody f***ing knows. I got smacked at the f***ing Oscars by this motherf***er. And people are like “Did it hurt?” It still hurts. I got Summertime ringing in my ear f***ing drums. But I’m not a victim, you will never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying you will never see it, like, ‘I couldn’t believe it and I love Men in Black.’ No, it’s never going to happen… But Will Smith practices selective outrage because everyone that knows what happened, everybody that really knows, knows I had nothing to do with that s**t. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f***ing her son’s friend.

Chris Rock Mocks Will Smith

“Now I normally wouldn’t talk about this s**t,” Rock continued. “But for some reason these n***as put that s**t on the Internet. I have no idea why two talented people would do something that f***ing low down. What the f**k? We’ve all been cheated on, everybody in here has been cheated on. None of us have been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television, like ‘Hey, I was sucking somebody else’s d**k, how did that make you feel?’ Why the f**k would you do that s**t?

“She hurt him way more than he hurt me, OK,” he wrapped up. “Everybody in the world called him a b***h. I tried to call the motherf***er and give him my condolences. He wouldn’t pick up for me. Everybody called him a b***h. And who is he hitting? Me, a n***a he knows he can be beat. That is some b***h a** s**t… I have rooted for Will Smith my whole life and now I watch Emancipation just to see him get whooped… A lot of people are like ‘Chris why didn’t you do nothing back?’ Because I got parents that’s why, because I was raised. And you know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people.” Let us know what you thought of the special in the comments and check out more reactions below.
