Kanye West Finally Reveals “Vultures 2” Release Date After Two-Month Delay

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign dropped off Vultures 1 all the way back in February. However, since that time, they have yet to release Vultures 2. Originally, the sequel was going to come out on March 8th, while a third album would drop on April 5th. Now, we are at the end of April, and the first sequel still hasn’t arrived. Fans are obviously confused by this and have been looking for answers. Overall, they have had to piece things together through Discord groups and other leakers who claim to have some sort of in with the Yeezy camp.

Recently, Kanye West was on a podcast with Justin Laboy. During this podcast, Ye spoke up about Vultures 2 and how he and Ty have been working extremely hard on it. Although he didn’t give too much insight into the tracks and features on the album, he did give us a date. According to the clip below, Ye and Ty will be dropping their new album on May 3rd. That means the project is coming out in about 10 days, and it will fall on a Friday, like most releases do.

Kanye West Gives A Date

This date has previously been given, although it was not a date that had been confirmed by Kanye himself. Now, it appears as though fans have something truly tangible to go off of. Whether or not this actually works out for everyone, still remains to be seen. After all, Ye does have a long history of delaying projects and missing out on release promises. Hopefully, this time around, we actually get the album at midnight.

GloRilla Asks Fans To Pick The Release Date For Her New Project

GloRilla made an unconventional choice about her upcoming project, asking fans to pick a release date for her.“My project READY. What Friday yall want me to drop it on ?????” Glo tweeted earlier this week. However, she did not abide by the results, which is understandable as the overwhelming response was March 15. However, fans should likely keep out every Friday going forward for the new project from Glo. Are you looking forward to Glo’s new project? Let us know in the comments.

Not a whole lot is known about the project. However, it is expected to ride the success that Glo has found with “Yeah, Glo!” The track has found new levels of success. Glo recently shared a video of a pastor in Maryland quoting the song and praising Glo for her faith. Glo revealed to HipHopDX that she grew up in the church and that she still holds her faith very close to her heart.

Damian Lillard Plays Coy About GloRilla Thirsting For Him

Elsewhere, Damian Lillard refused to be baited by TMZ when asked about any potential relationship links to Glo. When asked if he was aware that the rapper had shot her shot with him, Lillard simply smiled and offered a “no comment”. Glo put her claim down on Lillard at the All-Star Game, posting up with the MVP and getting thirsty on main about her desire for him. However, speculation ran rampant amongst fans over the potential pairing.

Of course, Lillard is currently a free agent in the dating realm. In October, Lillard filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La. Lillard filed the motion in Clackamas County Circuit Court and the news was first reported by the Willamette Week. The Lillards have been married since 2021 but have been together since their college days at Weber State. However, Lillard’s filing cites “irreconcilable differences” and suggests that the couple has been living apart since December 2022. The couple have three children together – a five-year-old and two-year-old twin daughters.

Kanye West Shares “Vultures 2” Release Date With Baby Keem, But It Was Actually A Fan Page

Kanye West is certainly no stranger to delays, but his latest broken promise has fans more anxious than ever to hear his new album. Back in January, Ye announced the release dates of all three volumes of his joint project with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures. The first volume dropped only a day late. Of course, this left listeners hopeful that the others would arrive mostly on time.

Clearly, that hasn’t been the case. Vultures 2 was previously expected to drop on March 8, per Ye’s aforementioned schedule, but fans have yet to hear it. On the bright side, he seems to have confirmed the new release date in some recent DMs with one of his collaborators, Baby Keem. Unfortunately, however, he wasn’t actually speaking with Baby Keem at all.

In screenshots of the DMs, Ye answers a Baby Keem fan page’s request for the release date. “We in the lab now with it. Gonna release in May. May 3rd,” he wrote. “When can we go in,” Ye also asked, “Should we do Praise God 2mrw.” By the looks of things, Ye thought he was chatting with the real Baby Keem. While it’s certainly an unconventional way to reveal a release date, fans are thrilled nonetheless to finally have their questions answered.

It’s also pretty far out from when the album was originally expected, which will undoubtedly leave some listeners disappointed. After all, the Chicago MC just told supporters that there are only some “final tweaks” to be made before Vultures 2 is complete. This got them thinking it would arrive in no time. Prolific Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy, is going to be living up to that title very soon. The 24-year-old MC has one of the largest catalogs, which is ultra impressive for his age, and he is about to be adding to it on March 8 with Compliments Of Gravedigger Mountain. That is going to the be name of NBA YoungBoy’s new album, one that was bound to happen at any moment. The dude has been releasing single after single on YouTube mainly for the last month or two.

In just the past two years YB will have put out 13 overall projects! His relentless desire to put out new music is something that most people are kind of sick of. However, you have to respect him for working as much as he does. Even if it leads to some mediocre songs in the process. The raspy spitter announced the release date and album cover on his Instagram just hours ago.

“3/8,” he captioned it simply. Fans are already making jokes about how long this record will be. If you are not familiar with YB’s style, he loves to put at least 20 songs on each release. One fan even theorizes that since he is dropping on 03/08, it signifies that 38 songs will make it onto the record. Speaking of which, Genius has a page up with the rumored tracklist so far. Seven songs are currently projected to be on the tape with cuts like “Bnyx Da Reaper,” “Run,” “No Time,” and etc.

ScHoolboy Q Announces New Album “Blue Lips”: Release Date, Tracklist & Reactions

Well, it’s finally time. After four years of teasing, a lot of hard work, and an avalanche of fan anticipation, ScHoolboy Q has finally and officially announced his next studio album: Blue Lips. Moreover, he did so through a teaser trailer that shows a group of colleagues, on car and on foot, arriving at a street alley with the project’s tracklist written out on a building’s wall. By visiting the TDE rapper’s website, you can see a counter that lets you know exactly how long you will have to wait for this LP to drop. Fortunately, it’s not a long wait at all, and fans can pre-save the full-length on their preferred streaming service, preview merch, and sign up for updates on the site, too.

Furthermore, Blue Lips will release on March 1, and the teaser indicates that it will comprise of 17 tracks or so, if each title is a line long. If not, then it’ll be shorter, but either way, there are certain titles that really caught fans’ eyes. For example, ScHoolboy Q fans made a ruckus over the song “Blue Slides,” given the apparent reference to Mac Miller’s debut album Blue Slide Park from 2011. Die-hards are hoping that this includes a feature from the Philly MC given their close relationship, but the prospect of being let down if it doesn’t appear isn’t enough to dissuade listeners’ excitement for this project.

As far as what we can gain musically from this teaser, there’s no confirmation on whether the featured song will appear on Blue Lips‘ tracklist in some form. Perhaps it’s a preview of a sample, an original instrumental, or just a really good, tender, and dramatic soul song that ScHoolboy Q wanted to shout out. Regardless of which is the correct answer, it sets the stage for a lush, possibly nostalgic, and emotive experience. Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “Vultures” Release Pushed Back Again

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign will be releasing their upcoming collaborative album, Vultures, on February 9, according to the project’s official iTunes page. This comes after the platform previously had the date set as January 19. The update is the latest of a number of delays to the album.

When users on social media caught wind of the release date change, they were quite upset. “Yeah i’m officially done caring about this record. Keep it at this point it’s just disappointment after disappointment,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Another wrote: “The fact that this album is not even worth the wait makes me frustrated. After hearing Slide and the snippet from the fashion show for the first time I was hyped af, I thought this record would blow my mind, but, unfortunately, more than half of the album appeared to be mid.”

Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign have been teasing the project for months at this point. They first shared the cover artwork, featuring work by Caspar David Friedrich, back in December. In the time since, West has been dealing with a number of clearance issues. Nicki Minaj refused to give permission for her appearance on “New Body” to be used. Additionally, there have been difficulties clearing the Backstreet Boys’ song, “Everybody.”

“Vultures” Releasing December 31, Kanye West Confirms

Kanye West has confirmed that Vultures will be released on December 31, according to a statement received by XXL. This comes after the album, a collaborative effort with Ty Dolla $ign, was made available for pre-order on iTunes. Additionally, the album has been delayed several times and was meant to drop this past Friday. However, fans instead received news of a 10-minute rant delivered by West at a star-studded listening party.

Furthermore, the rant took aim at the Jewish community, Adidas, and individuals like JAY-Z and Drake. “N-gga just cause I had a car, n-gga. F-ck everybody, n-gga. That’s what I’m trying to say to you n-ggas right f-cking now, n-gga. Drake, this is what you been waiting for. Jay-Z, this is what you been waiting for. Adidas, this is what you been waiting for. Kim, this is what you been waiting for. n-ggas be hanging around these n-ggas for the money on some Mike Rubin sh-t,” Kanye said in part. West also took aim at Nicki Minaj for refusing to clear her verse on “New Body”. This earned him a scathing attack from Azealia Banks.

Last week, Kanye previewed some of the things fans can expect from Vultures. “Everybody” was briefly previewed in a video shared by West, which showed the rapper standing imposingly on a balcony as the track played. The brief clip shared confirms that the song includes a prominent sample of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys that melts into an enticing beat. Furthermore, another song, “North’s Song”, will see North West make her musical debut. Additionally, the song appears to sample a high school cheerleading video.

Elsewhere, Timbaland also confirmed that he has served as a producer on the album. “One of my best body of work,” Timbaland wrote on Instagram while showing a hand-written tracklist. Kid Cudi Reveals “INSANO” Release Date

Kid Cud was supposed to drop his album INSANO back in September. Overall, it was going to be part of a stacked release date. However, numerous artists on that day decided to delay their albums. Polo G also did something similar, much to the chagrin of fans. Regardless, Cudi has continued to release singles and snippets since that time. His supporters have been anticipating a 2024 release, and there have been all sorts of teasers. On social media, Cudi continues to talk about the potential features.

Last night turned out be massive for Cudi. He reunited with Kanye West and is set to be on the album Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign. Furthermore, he made an announcement regarding his upcoming album. Effectively, fans got an official release date. In the tweet below from NFR Podcast, you can see that he is going to drop on January 12th. Interestingly enough, that is not too far away. He will pretty well be releasing his album in exactly four weeks from now. That is an exciting prospect for all of his fans.

Additionally, a ton of great features are confirmed so far. Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Pharrell, ASAP Rocky, Pusha T, and even Wiz Khalifa will be on the album. Kanye West is someone who has elicited a ton of controversy over the years. However, he remains someone that people want to hear from, no matter what. Despite his anti-Semitic ramblings, he still has fans, and they want new music, Over the last little while, Ye has been constructing some of that music. While in Italy and Saudi Arabia, the legendary MC and producer has been working with none other than Ty Dolla $ign. They have a new collaborative album called Vultures on the way, and we have already heard the lead single.

While out at Art Basel in Miami, Ye seemingly revealed the tracklist. There are some huge features here, and we may even get the song “New Body.” This information definitely has fans excited and for good reason. Well, last night, Ye decided to give some fans even more good news. In the video below, you can see that it was made clear that the new album is actually going to be dropping this Friday, December 15th. This is massive, and it will easily be the biggest release before the end of the year.

Kanye West Is Almost Here

However, fans should probably temper their expectations here, at least just a little bit. Ye is notorious for not making good on his promises as it pertains to dropping albums. He is always delaying things and taking a few weeks off to finish up some stuff. Furthermore, some fans noted that the songs he was previewing didn’t sound finished. Not to mention, Mike Dean will not be working with Ye on this, which means he won’t have that expert sound design to help move the process along. Sexyy Red Unveils Deluxe Album Tracklist & Release Date

Sexyy Red has become a superstar of sorts over the last few months. Overall, she has done big things, including dropping an album while also headlining her own sold-out solo tour. Moreover, she got to be the opener for Drake’s tour, during the Summer and the Fall. Her album Hood Hottest Princess is filled with some incredible hits, and she will definitely be making some year-end lists. That said, her work ethic is second to none, and she has been promising some new music for her most dedicated fans.

In fact, the artist has been teasing fans with a deluxe version of Hood Hottest Princess. Overall, this would be a huge look for Sexy given the fact that her celebrity has never been bigger. People want to hear new music from here, and she is ready to deliver. So much so that on Wednesday night, she announced that her new deluxe project would be dropping on Friday at midnight. That is a lot sooner than fans would have thought, however, it does serve as a nice little Christmas gift.

Overall, there are 11 new songs here. However, some of these songs have actually already been released. Regardless, there are some pretty cool features to be found here. Although Sexyy knows how to carry a song by herself, it is always cool to see artists working with a plethora of different peers. Fans are definitely excited about this new collection of tracks, and hopefully, it lives up to the standard of the original album.
