Kevin Durant Gets Honest About Kyrie Irving Trade Request

Kevin Durant is currently a member of the Phoenix Suns. Overall, this would not have happened without Kyrie Irving and his infamous trade request. With Kyrie claiming to want a long-term deal, the Nets made it clear that they had some reservations. Consequently, Irving was offended and he decided to ask for a move. Subsequently, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks which then led to the Durant trade.

Now, the entire Western Conference has been shaken up. Although some fans hate how quickly the NBA can change, others find this exciting. The West is going to be extremely interesting come playoff time, and in the eyes of many, the Suns are favorites to win it all. However, there are others who are curious about Durant’s feelings toward Kyrie. On the most recent episode of The ETCs, Durant revealed exactly how everything made him feel.

“I’m disappointed that we didn’t finish the season, but I also know that we’re all our own separate entities,” Durant said. “We all move and do the things that we wanna do for our careers. I can’t fault somebody for doing that, even though it might have been at our expense as a team. But that’s who he is and that’s what he wanted to and I can’t have a problem with that. I don’t wanna act like I wasn’t upset that we didn’t finish the season because I love playing with Kai, I wanted to see where we can go with that because we were both playing at a high level. … We haven’t had a conversation but eventually we will.”

Clearly, Durant and Kyrie are still cool with one another. At the end of the day, Kyrie made a decision and KD respects that. Although, there is no doubt that these two could have made a run together in Brooklyn. Now, it seems like KD is much better suited for a deep playoff run. To end Black History Month, afro-fusion artist Omah Lay just gave a memorable performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk.

He performed tracks including his current single, “soso,” and a fan favorite, “understand,” backed by a full live band that included backup vocalists. He joined a stellar cast of R&B, soul, jazz, gospel, rock, and hip-hop legends as part of NPR’s Black History Month programming schedule, capping the four-week run with his singular interpretation of Afrobeats.

Blueface And Chrisean Talk Lil Baby & Pregnancy With Bootleg Kev

Alt-rap reality couple Chrisean Rock and Blueface have appeared in the news almost every day since their relationship began. The two have gone on to star in their own television series, a step up from the public shows we’ve witnessed from them for free on social media. Crazy In Love—which premiered late last year on Zeus—chronicles their turbulent lives together throughout the seven-episode production. Rock is now pregnant again after three miscarriages, and this one she intends to keep. The rappers touch base on this and more during their talk with Real 92.3’s Bootleg Kev.

The expecting mother gets defensive on the podcast as Kev questions whether motherhood will change her lifestyle. “Change what? Like what the f**k…I’m fine,” Chrisean stutters as Blueface smiles and replies “I hope so.” The 22-year-old is known for her alcohol-induced rants and violent behavior both on and off of Baddies West, even while pregnant. Though Rock denies her latest fight with two women was regarding the father-of-almost-two, spectators bashed Chrisean for partaking in the physical altercation while with child.

Elsewhere in the episode, Blueface formally responds to Chrisean’s text exchange with Lil Baby. Though Bootleg Kev reasons it would benefit the “It’s a Vibe” artist to network with the hip-hop heavyweight, Blue says “she knows” he’s in it for sexual favors. “That was the throw-off,” he states in response to Baby calling himself her “big bro.” “That’s not what he was telling her while he was in front of her.” He also accuses Rock of trying to “water down” what was actually said by the Atlanta superstar.

Further along, Kev asks Chrisean Rock about her seven Blueface tattoos. She currently has two neck portraits of Blue, and his government name, Johnathan Porter, inked five times from her eyebrow down to her nether region. Kev jokingly mentioned he hopes the “Dear Rock” stars will marry each other due to her permanent displays of affection. Chlöe Announces “The In Pieces Tour” Ahead Of New Album

Chlöe has announced her first-ever headlining tour of the United States, The In Pieces Tour. She revealed the 11 cities she’ll be hitting over the course of April and May during a post on Instagram, Tuesday. The announcement comes ahead of the release of her highly-anticipated debut studio album, In Pieces, which will be out next month.

“I’m headlining my very own solo tour performing all the songs from the new album.. yall i’m so excited. see you there. get tix now, link in bio,” Chlöe captioned the tour dates in her post. Tickets for the tour will be going on sale Friday at 10:00 AM, local time. Pre-sale tickets can be accessed with the code “PRAY.” Fans asked for Chlöe to add more dates in response to the announcement. They suggested shows in Washington D.C., Oakland, Miami, and more cities currently absent from the schedule.

While she’s yet to release an official album, Chlöe has shared a number of singles since 2021. They include “Have Mercy,” “Treat Me,” “Surprise,” “For the Night,” and “Pray It Away.” As for Chlöe’s upcoming album, she recently discussed what fans can expect from the project during an interview with ESSENCE. “The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself,” Bailey said at the time. “It’s me breaking free.”

The official release date for Chlöe’s In Pieces is set for March 31. She announced the date in an Instagram post featuring a cinematic video of herself. She captioned it, “IN PIECES. MY DEBUT ALBUM. MARCH 2023.”

In the time since, many have had the opportunity to tune into the 35-minute video, and have been sharing their favourite moments on social media. Among them are the rappers discussing things they’ve learned in therapy to the Canadian’s rising age.

Speaking of the latter, Drizzy was quite literally left speechless when the “Poland” hitmaker teased him about “gettin’ up there” following his 36th birthday last October. “Just sayin’,” the younger performer laughed as his long-time pal struggled to find the words to say. When he finally did, the father of one told Yachty that he can’t wait to see him grow “old as f*ck.”

“By the time I’m old as f*ck, you’re gonna be old as f*ck. You’re gonna be using a cane,” the 25-year-old clapped back at Drake. “First of all, I’ll be 10 years older than you. Additionally, he labelled his friend as the kind of guy who says, “30 is the new sexy.”

So far, the Moody Conversation is eliciting countless laughs from viewers. As the clips continue to circulate online, many are showing love to one that chiefly finds Champagne Papi discussing a past therapy session during which he learned all about relating to women who are well endowed in the bust. “Often when I meet people I have to like humanize myself,” he began.

“I was talking to a therapist at one point and he was like… ’You know, no matter what kind of woman you’re chasing physically, you have the biggest tits in the room. Nobody can think about anything else other than just your gigantic tits’ — which is you’re Drake,” he told Yachty. From the sounds of things, the Scorpion rapper’s therapist wanted him to understand that people perceive his celebrity status the same way they see a woman’s large breasts.

He went on to say, “All the preconceived notions, they can’t see past the gigantic tits unless they talk to you and then they’re like, ‘Oh wow, your tits are huge but you’re super smart. You’re really nice and kind.’ So, it’s interesting. That’s why I relate to girls with huge tits,” Drake laughed. Lil Tjay Teases Upcoming Album: “Putting My All Into This”

Lil Tjay has experienced a lifetime of ups and downs since his last studio album. Last June, he was shot seven times during an attempted robbery. After being taken to the hospital and eventually recovering, Tjay did all he could to get back on his feet. He soon released a diss track to his shooters titled “FACESHOT,” inspired by 50 Cent’s “Many Men.” He also recorded and dropped a song from his hospital bed titled “Beat the Odds.” In the past couple of months, he not only dropped another single in November titled “Give You What You Want,” but also featured on a groundbreaking song with one of the hottest artists in the genre.

“Gangsta Boo” off Ice Spice’s recent January EP saw Tjay and Spice crack the Billboard Hot 100 with the sensational collaboration. However, the release of this track came just days after Tjay was arrested for gun possession in New York. In fact, he was stopped and detained while on the way to the music video shoot for “Gangsta Boo.” Still battling these legal troubles, Tjay currently hopes to instead focus on his upcoming full-length solo project.

On Tuesday (Feb. 28), Tjay posted an Instagram story referencing his impending studio album. “Putting my all into this album this gon be my best one yet,” he wrote. “When I step better show me my respect ima vet.” Currently untitled and without a release date, Tjay evidently wants to gain more respect with this forthcoming LP.

He continued by making sure people don’t switch up after he drops the project. “Don’t try spin the block. I don’t wanna hear about regrets, bout some sh*t u knew u was wrong about but ain’t address. Thinking I was cold? but u bold!” he wrote. “It’s just been too long respectfully im rii back on the necks.” Tjay’s last studio album came with 2021’s Destined 2 Win. In April 2022, his freestyle “Lavish” was meant to be a teaser for a soon-to-come mixtape. But, understandably, his shooting likely derailed any rollout plans he had. Now, looking forward to his third studio album, it will be interesting to see what Tjay brings to the table.
