Lil Scrappy Claims Bambi Benson’s Behavior Was So Egregious His Therapist Said People Wouldn’t Believe It

Lil Scrappy has put his ex-wife Bambi Benson on blast. The rapper and reality star claimed that Bambi’s behavior was so egregious that his therapist actively discouraged him from speaking on her. “They told me not to tell y’all. They said don’t tell nobody because nobody will understand. Because the person would not act like that in front of others,” Scrappy said.

Of course, this is not the first time that Scrappy has taken shots at Bambi. Last month, Scrappy shot back at online rumors that Bambi is actually his cousin. “Don’t come over here with that. She is baby mama number two to me,” Scrappy said while livestreaming while eating out at a restaurant. The only thing I’m connected to with her is my kids. I love my babies, y’all know that. That’s the only thing we can talk about,” Scrappy explained on the stream. Scrappy responded to the comments that he had seen online. He was not directly asked about the claims during his livestream. However, some people did ask if he had seen people talking about it.

Lil Scrappy Says He’s “Always Been In Love” With Erica Dixon

Lil Scrappy said in a recent interview that he has “always been in love” with Erica Dixon, even when seeing other people. The rapper and reality star was not spared the wrath of the internet for this declaration of love, however. “I’m so in love with you I got married and had 3 kids instead of working on myself and becoming the man that you needed, got it 😂,” one person said. “This is so cruel fr. He married a woman but was in love with another woman the whole time? He could have just played the field until she was ready to reciprocate. As a woman I would feel so bad if my bd told me that he still was in love with me after marrying a woman and giving her 3 kids, I would be so disgusted with him,” added another.

Rumors of a reunion between the two have swirled since at least Thanksgiving. Of course, the pair already share one child as a result of their decade-plus involvement with one another. However, Dixon has made it clear that her focus at the moment is finding a successful model of co-parenting with Scrappy.

Doja Cat Reveals An Artist Almost Started Beef With Her Over A Bad Impersonation

Doja Cat is pretty outspoken when it comes to her jokes and jabs on the Internet, so much so that she’s been in a couple of situations where folks on the receiving end don’t see what’s so funny. Moreover, she recently revealed that she almost started beef with another artist because she mocked their voice while amped up on a Celsius energy drink. This was during a recent conversation with Lyle, better known as the Therapy Gecko. If you’re unfamiliar with his content, he dresses up like a gecko and takes calls from people asking for advice, sometimes with a special guest. The Los Angeles superstar was in his guest seat this time around, and spoke of this near-inciting incident.

“No, I just can’t drink [Celsius],” Doja Cat remarked. “I have a really cr*zy Celsius story, I almost got into a beef because of Celsius. I blame this on Celsius, it’s not me! So I was singing a song and doing the voice of somebody else. Like, I filmed myself doing the song in a cr*zy voice, and it was my really bad impression of that person. People took it super wrong. They thought I was trying to cause drama and issues, when really I was just being a f***ing a**hole.” Folks eventually connected the dots and assumed that she could have been referring to a years-ago incident with Cardi B.

Doja Cat Recalls Near-Beef Situation With A Mocked MC: Watch

In the referenced clip above, you can see how Doja Cat sang one of the Bronx rapper’s cuts, something she did not appreciate in the immediate aftermath. Still, it didn’t result in any actual issues between the two, and things are pretty quiet on that front now. One of the last notable interactions the two of them had was when they teamed up to fire back against critics of “WAP.” But it’s at least heartening to know that they made this all water under the bridge, because the last thing we need right now is more femcee beef.

Meanwhile, with a deluxe version of Scarlet on the way, we’re sure that the “Agora Hills” lyricist will continue to expand her career and look back on what could’ve been with more refined perspectives. Will it bring about another clash over a misunderstood joke? Only time will tell. With that in mind, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Doja Cat.

Stormzy Is Ready For Kids, Heading To Couple’s Therapy With Maya Jama: Source

Maya Jama and Stormzy were much younger during their first attempt at a relationship, and though they had plenty of fun, the pair ultimately decided to call it quits in 2019. Upon reflecting on the split late last year, the British rapper admitted that he was in a far more childish mindset at the time, but he’s since gone through tremendous growth to help shape him into a man who’s apparently ready to settle down. The one-year anniversary of Stormzy’s This Is What I Mean LP is quickly approaching, and with any luck, he’ll have Jama by his side to celebrate.

Social media sleuths began speculating that the former lovers had reconciled in late August. At the time, both the socialite and her ex were sharing content from a beautiful villa in Greece, though neither was quite ready to hard launch the other during their baecation. Eventually, paparazzi caught photos of them wandering through the islands hand in hand, unofficially confirming that their romance is back on.

Since then, the Mirror has learned that they’re even planning to head to couple’s therapy to ensure that things have a better chance of working in their favour this time around. “Stormzy and Maya have never stopped loving each other and want to do all they can to protect their second shot at lifelong happiness. Stormzy has already told friends he’s ready to have kids as early as next year,” an insider dished to the outlet.

Earlier this month, sources revealed that Stormzy has plans to pop the question to Maya Jama in the future – likely why therapy is so high on their list of priorities. Seeing as the Love Island host was engaged to Ben Simmons not so long ago, she already knows all too well the excitement that comes with being a fiancee, and we can’t imagine why she’d say no. Quavo Gives “Rocket Power” Album Update: “This Is My Therapy… I ALWAYS Find My Strength Again”

It’s already been half a year since the world said a tragic and untimely goodbye to Migos lyricist Takeoff. The entire hip-hop community was broken up over the young lyricist’s death. Still, no one is taking it harder than his uncle and partner in rhyme, Quavo. At the time of the fatal shooting that took Take away, he and his Migos collaborator had just shared their joint Only Built for Infinity Links album which included the uber-successful “HOTEL LOBBY” single. Despite their beef with Offset, the pair was in their prime when one half lost his life, leaving his lifelong pal to mourn.

Quavo has been keeping mostly lowkey in recent weeks, though earlier this month he did confirm that his next solo album, Rocket Power, will be a tribute to Takeoff. On Tuesday (May 23), the Georgia-born artist returned to Instagram with an update on the release, which he says is “coming soon.” In his caption, Q wrote, “This album is for the Rocket and our true fans. Also, this is my therapy.”

Quavo Speaks on His Next Solo Project

His heartfelt message continued, “This is [an] album of true reflection of how I feel right now. Sometimes I’m good, sometimes I’m down, and sometimes I’m disappointed. Sometimes I fall apart but then I ALWAYS find my strength again.” Quavo assured his followers that while he knows “everything might not be alright right now, the rocket showed [him] a way to make it RIGHT!” The 32-year-old concluded his message with, “Rocket Power keeps me going, rocket power gives me fuel. Rocket Power will help us all overcome whatever we’re going through.”

An official release date and tracklist for the project have yet to arrive, though fans are curious as to whether Q will be connecting with any other artists. Regardless of the time it takes for the former Migo to complete his “therapy,” we can’t wait to hear what he has in store. Are you looking forward to Quavo’s Rocket Power project? Let us know in the comments, and tap back in later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates. RIP Takeoff.

Nas Reflects On “King’s Disease III,” Says Hip-Hop Is His “Therapist”

Nas says that hip-hop has become his “therapist.” The legendary New York rapper discussed his career, working with Hit-Boy on King’s Disease III, and more during a new interview with the Wall Street Journal published on Saturday. Nas explained that, at some points during the recording process, Hit-Boy would ask him to re-use flows from his older songs.

“Sometimes I’d be like, ‘But I did that, I did that already.’ And he’d say, ‘I know you, you’re going to go into a new cadence on it. Can you, please, just do this flow right here? I promise you’,” Nas told WSJ. Of King’s Disease III, he added that he was pessimistic he’d ever make the record. “In my head, I said, ‘There’s never going to be a KD3,” Nas confessed. “Why did I say this? I’m tired.’”

Nas released the first iteration of King’s Disease back in 2020. The album went on to win “Best Rap Album” at the Grammys. The follow-up, King’s Disease II, was nominated in the “Best Rap Album” category but lost out to Tyler, The Creator’s Call Me If You Get Lost. Nas dropped King’s Disease III back in November.

Further in the interview, the soon-to-be 50-year-old reflected on his relationship with hip-hop. “It’s become my therapist, my friend,” Nas said. “It’s not always the happiest place, sometimes I want to do other things. But I feel compelled to be there. In this day and time, it’s all about the studio.” The Wall Street Journal piece comes days after Nas teamed up with Tobe Nwigwe and Jacob Banks for the new single, “On My Soul,” off of the soundtrack for Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts. The full film, along with the soundtrack, will be releasing on June 9.

Conway The Machine Details How Therapy Improved His Music

Conway The Machine says that going to therapy has had a positive impact on his music. Speaking with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, he explained that his new album, Won’t He Do It, is some of his best work yet and attributes that to working on his mental health with a professional.

“I feel like I just needed to show a different side of me, man. Man, my life has been really great, if I really look at it and just really count my blessings and just be thankful more and grateful of what I have accomplished and what I do have instead of tripping off negative dumb stuff,” he began, as noted by HipHopDX. “You know what I mean? So that’s how I ended up here with Won’t He Do It. It’s just like, man, I feel good, man. You know what I’m saying?”

He elaborated: “I did some therapy. You know what I’m saying? I did some therapy. Like I said, I kind of just isolated myself and just shut it off for a minute. Yeah. You know what I’m saying? It’s like a computer. You know what I’m saying? Sometimes you got to turn it off and let it rest for a few minutes and turn it back on and reboot it. You know what I’m saying?”

From there, he explained that, in the community in which he grew up, there was a stigma around going to therapy. “Because growing up in a hood and stuff, and particularly with young men and just in the communities and stuff, we look at wanting to get therapy or stuff like that, it’s like a, I don’t know, a slight, I guess or, we look at it like it’s a weakness or something,” he continued. “But I realized quick that it really wasn’t. It was actually very helpful. You know what I’m saying? And got me to this point to where I’m back making music, I think some of my best music. You know what I mean?”

Conway The Machine Discusses Therapy

Conway dropped Won’t He Do It earlier this month with features from Westside Gunn, Dave East, Fabolous, Benny The Butcher, and more. The album is his first album since last year’s God Don’t Make Mistakes, and his first post-Shady Records release.

Lil Durk Discusses How Therapy Has Helped Him “Cope Different”

Lil Durk says that he started going to therapy in order to learn how to “cope different.” Speaking with XXL for a recent interview, the 30-year-old rapper explained that he’s had trouble showing emotion in the past.

“Being more open. Being more open to letting [my new manager] Pete [Jideonwo] in,” he said. “Moving certain people out the way. That’s the best feeling. Therapy, the kids, the new team, all that. But the best feeling is really just starting over.”

Durk continued: “I got a therapist so I cope different. … I don’t show emotion. So, some people will be like, ‘Man, you can’t hold it in.’ And I just can’t talk to nobody usually. You gotta be careful how you tell people, what you tell people, because they can use it against you. They can find out your weaknesses. So now, when I talk to the therapist, then it start getting more emotional. But like somebody on the street, you’ll never even see me shed a tear.” When asked if he started going to therapy to work through all death he’s experienced in his life, including the loss of King Von, Durk remarked, “Nah, I think I had to go to therapy fresh out the womb.”

Durk is far from the only rapper working on destigmatizing mental healthcare. Kendrick Lamar also recently opened up about going to therapy and the role it played in his latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers. Addressing the topic during Spotify’s mini-documentary, A Day In Ghana With Kendrick Lamar, he explained: “We learn to hold all our shit in. Shit, I’mma keep it 100 with you, it wasn’t my forte when people mention it to me. I’m stuck how my pops think,” he said. “I challenged myself to go to therapy. Shit, that’s like a whole new step in a whole new generation. That’s growth.” Check out Lil Durk’s XXL interview below.

Lil Uzi Vert Supports JT On Her Therapy Journey

As hard as it may seem to believe at times, most celebrities truly are just like us. In fact, many of those in the limelight who struggle with mental health issues to begin with find their conditions only exacerbated by the constant pressure that comes along with their career. While some opt to keep their problems to themselves, others often use social media to share life updates and be vulnerable with their fans, simultaneously encouraging them to do the same. JT of City Girls fame did just that on Twitter, sharing some details about how she plans to improve her mental health in the coming months.

“Super excited about starting therapy,” she wrote in a tweet last Saturday (March 25). “I encourage you all to do the same🤞🏾!” the “Twerkulator” hitmaker added, making it abundantly clear that there’s no shame in talking to someone about your feelings. While JT didn’t explicitly share what she wants to get off her chest in any upcoming appointments, her life before fame came with plenty of rough moments that are likely still weighing on her. Additionally, her newfound place in the spotlight beside Yung Miami certainly comes with its own downsides for the partners in rhyme.

JT Confirms Her Plans for Therapy

After the 30-year-old shared her excitement about beginning her therapy adventure, countless followers showered her with praise. “It’s literally necessary for everybody, [I don’t know] why people be acting like they don’t need it,” one user pointed out in JT’s replies. Another person chimed in, “I already do, for two years now. It’s life-changing [for real] sis. I pray your experience is as well.” Aside from the fan love, the rap diva also has a strong support system in the form of her long-term partner, Lil Uzi Vert.

The Philadelphia native spoke with TMZ earlier this week, at which time they asked their thoughts on JT seeking mental health help. Uzi sounds to be in full support of their girlfriend and even noted that they’ll be in attendance at some sessions to help out and perhaps work through issues of their own. As for anyone else considering therapy? The “Just Wana Rock” hitmaker thinks there’s no time like the present to work on yourself. “You just gotta do it,” he advised anyone watching. “You just have to really embrace yourself and love yourself.” Check out everything LUV had to say in the video below and tap back in later for more pop culture news updates.

Michael B. Jordan & Tessa Thompson Went To Couple’s Therapy While Filming “Creed III”

History has been made after Creed III‘s monumental opening weekend, and much of it is thanks to Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson. It’s reported that Creed III raked in $100 million in its first few days, and we’re sure the cast is somewhere celebrating. In the film, Thompson’s character, Bianca, presses Jordan’s character about going to therapy to work out his issues. The actress told Refinery29 that the two stars stretched their acting chops and attended real-life therapy—in character.

“It’s like a full PSA for therapy [laughs],” said Thompson. She detailed Bianca’s evolution and stepping into a softer side when she entered motherhood. “And finally, Mike and I actually went to therapy together. We did couples therapy.” The interviewer was surprised at the revelation and asked if they answered questions as their characters. “Yes, in character, but it ended up being like — the line sometimes between character and us get blurred because we bring so much of what we’re exploring personally to the characters in general.”

Digging Into A Character’s Issues

For a moment, Thompson thought she might have been telling too many details. Still, she continued. “I’ll say it was an early experience in couples therapy for us both [personally], but it was as these characters, which is very weird. But I think it reminded us of our own personal lives that going to therapy, even when a relationship is good, can be a good thing if you’re trying to just sharpen communication and figure out how someone works. It’s useful in so many relationships.”

Thompson explained that although they attacked the therapy session as Bianca and Adonis, she and Jordan “were also reflecting on our own relationships.” The costars have been creating hit films in the Creedverse for almost a decade, and they’ve grown as individuals as well as performers. “We’ve seen each other through various stages in our own romantic things,” she said. “So, we know stuff about each other’s lives. We shared and talked about it. So, therapy ended up starting at work and getting more personal.”

Tessa Thompson Left With a Deeper Understanding

She added, “Also, it was a chance for us to really talk to a couples therapist and understand what are some of the things young parents who are trying to balance their own dreams and aspirations? What are the themes that you see?” Also, “What are the things they might be up against? What might be their impediments to happiness or success as a couple? That was really fascinating also to hear from her and bring that into the stew.”

Drake Tells Lil Yachty How He “Relates To Girls With Huge Tits”: Watch

Here to help us end February on a high note is Drake and Lil Yachty’s Moody Conversation interview, which made its debut just a few days ago. In the time since, many have had the opportunity to tune into the 35-minute video, and have been sharing their favourite moments on social media. Among them are the rappers discussing things they’ve learned in therapy to the Canadian’s rising age.

Speaking of the latter, Drizzy was quite literally left speechless when the “Poland” hitmaker teased him about “gettin’ up there” following his 36th birthday last October. “Just sayin’,” the younger performer laughed as his long-time pal struggled to find the words to say. When he finally did, the father of one told Yachty that he can’t wait to see him grow “old as f*ck.”

Drake & Lil Yachty’s Moody Conversation

“By the time I’m old as f*ck, you’re gonna be old as f*ck. You’re gonna be using a cane,” the 25-year-old clapped back at Drake. “First of all, I’ll be 10 years older than you. Still dripped out.” According to Yachty, the 6ix God’s love for basketball is what’s sure to result in him relying on a cane. Additionally, he labelled his friend as the kind of guy who says, “30 is the new sexy.”

So far, the Moody Conversation is eliciting countless laughs from viewers. As the clips continue to circulate online, many are showing love to one that chiefly finds Champagne Papi discussing a past therapy session during which he learned all about relating to women who are well endowed in the bust. “Often when I meet people I have to like humanize myself,” he began.

Drizzy Explains His “Huge Tits”

“I was talking to a therapist at one point and he was like… ’You know, no matter what kind of woman you’re chasing physically, you have the biggest tits in the room. Nobody can think about anything else other than just your gigantic tits’ — which is you’re Drake,” he told Yachty. From the sounds of things, the Scorpion rapper’s therapist wanted him to understand that people perceive his celebrity status the same way they see a woman’s large breasts.

He went on to say, “All the preconceived notions, they can’t see past the gigantic tits unless they talk to you and then they’re like, ‘Oh wow, your tits are huge but you’re super smart. You’re really nice and kind.’ So, it’s interesting. That’s why I relate to girls with huge tits,” Drake laughed. Check out the hilarious moment in the TikTok above, and check back later for more pop culture news.
