Nick Cannon Is Seemingly Open To Mariah Carey Reunion

It goes without saying that Nick Cannon has come a long way since his marriage and eventual divorce from Mariah Carey. Aside from the two children he shares with the songstress, Cannon has 10 little ones to look after with six women, including Mariah. Despite having love for all of the women he’s fathered kids with, he seems to have always had a special place in his heart for the “Obsessed” performer, even going so far as to consider a reunion.

During a recent interview, Cannon revealed whether or not he’d be willing to give his relationship with Mariah another shot. According to him, it’s not completely off the table. “I mean, you gotta ask her! Let me know what she say!” he joked. “Ask her, text me, we can talk through you. It’s Valentines is in the air, you can be the chocolate Cupid. Let’s do it, I’m with it.”

Cannon isn’t the only person to come a long way since their relationship, however. Mariah went on to date one of her former backup dancers, Bryan Tanaka, for seven years. The pair just announced their split in December of last year, stating that the decision was mutual and citing the “invaluable time” they spent together. While Mariah is newly single, Cannon has previously claimed that he’d prefer to leave the past in the past. According to him, he’s concerned that if revisiting an old relationship went wrong, it would “ruin” his memories of it for good.

According to a new report from the National Enquirer, some close to the couple believe their decision may only be an attempt to mend their public image.

“Will and Jada are putting on a united front, ending their seven-year separation and choosing to live under the same roof once again,” one friend of the couple reportedly told the outlet. “They are openly declaring their commitment to each other, portraying themselves as a happy couple after the recent messy revelations about their relationship. But while they insist that they’re back together, some doubt lingers. The couple’s tendency to manage their public image through carefully crafted narratives is no secret.”

Jada had claimed that, despite her candid admissions about her marriage to Will in the book, Worthy, they’d be staying together while promoting the release. “The truth of the matter is I’m not leaving Will’s side and he’s not going to leave mine. We’ve been on a powerful quest. And I’m happier than I’ve ever been,” she said at one event. While speaking with Drew Barrymore she also remarked that they plan on “staying together forever.”

Will and Jada have been together for over two decades after meeting back in the 1990s. They married one another in 1997 and have welcomed two kids in the time since. Jada first revealed their separation back in 2023. She later said that Will’s defense of her at the Oscars saved their marriage. Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s friendship has seen its fair share of ups and downs over the years. The duo recently reconciled, however, much to the delight of fans. It appears as though Cudi will even be featured on Ye’s eagerly-anticipated upcoming album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures. Ye also showed support for Cudi’s latest project INSANO this week on Instagram. It was a simple screenshot, but regardless, it was a huge leap from where they were just last year.

They also reunited in December for Ye’s Vultures listening party in Vegas, hugging it out in a clip that made its rounds online. Kid Cudi reflected on their fallout and eventual reunion during his recent conversation with Apple Music‘s Zane Lowe, revealing that he sees Kanye as family.

“People don’t even know that Kanye paid for the first ‘Day ‘n’ Night’ video when I didn’t have a deal,” he explained. “Just was like, ‘He needs a video, so I’m gonna pay for it.’” Kid Cudi went on, describing how while Kanye’s gotten himself wrapped up in plenty of controversy, he’s able to look past it. “I had this moment to kind of think about the past and the journey that I’ve had with this person… I know that in his soul there is a good man there, cuz I’ve seen it, and you don’t give up on people. You know? He’s learning and he’s growing. He knows he’s made some mistakes, and I think that’s the beauty of it.”

Benny The Butcher isn’t interested in reconciling with Freddie Gibbs following their recent beef. Appearing on The Breakfast Club, the Griselda rapper explained where he stands with Gibbs. While he says he doesn’t personally hold a grudge against the rapper, he won’t be making amends because it would look “goofy”

The conversation began with Benny being asked about taking a photo with Gibbs’ ex-girlfriend, Destini. “I’ll tell you why. I almost cracked up laughing but I gave her chain back. That’s the homegirl. I’m really a nice guy. I gave her her chain back,” he began. “Then she came to my birthday party. That’s it. She was caught in the middle of some sh*t she had nothing to do with. She probably thought I was the devil, but she get to see that I’m a really nice guy and that’s it. Nothing more. Nothing less.”

Cardi B Appears To Shoot Down Offset Reconciliation Rumors

Cardi B liked a post on social media denying she and her estranged husband, Offset, have reconciled. The move comes after Thee Pop Feed reported that the two were back together after attending a Travis Scott concert. “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days,” the report on social media reads. “They were both spotted at Travis Scott’s concert tonight in New Jersey.”

In response, blogger Ken Barbie posted a clip of Kandi Burress exclaiming “You just made that up!” from Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta. Cardi B liked the reply, seemingly confirming the lack of a reconciliation.

Cardi first confirmed that she and Offset were done during a livestream on Instagram on December 10. “I been single for a minute now,” she said at the time. “I just don’t know how to tell the world, I feel like today has been a sign. Tink & Hitmaka’s NSFW Text Messages Suggest They’ve Made Up

Recently, Hitmaka took to social media to promote some upcoming music from his ex, Tink. The duo had a pretty brutal falling out earlier this year, which resulted in the two of them putting each other on blast online. Nowadays, however, it appears that they’re back on good terms. Hitmaka posted a screenshot of an alleged text message conversation between them, in which Tink apologizes. “I’m sorry,” she writes, prompting him to tell her “I know.”

“I wish I handled you better,” she continues. “I apologize for reacting the way I did. As a close friend I’m not proud of how we left it.” Tink then sends him a new track, letting him know that it’s dropping soon. “This is coming out tomorrow,” she says, “it’s not a single but I’m venting.” Things take a turn from there, with Hitmaka responding, “It’s cool u licked my a** too.” Tink replies, “Lol .. they know,” alongside an umbrella emoji.

While it at least seems as though the two of them are moving past their previous issues, Hitmaka opened up about how their public beef made him feel at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards last month. According to him, he found the debacle “embarrassing,” though he says he’s “evolved” since then. “It wasn’t really no issue with me or whatever, you know?” he told The Neighborhood Talk.

“Things happened, things transpired, she went to the Internet, said what she said,” he continued. “You know, I mean, it wasn’t nothing on my end, you know? It’s regular, and I got mad love and respect for her. I appreciate everything we did. It’s more embarrassing than anything to be out there and look like that. But, you know what I mean? DaBaby Recalls Taking A Gun Charge For His Friend

During a recent appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, DaBaby opened up about taking a gun charge for his friend. According to him, he was in a car with the friend in question when they got pulled over, and authorities found a firearm in the vehicle. He claims that police assumed the weapon belonged to him, but it was actually his friend’s. Instead of telling police the truth, however, the friend let DaBaby take the charge.

For obvious reasons, this sparked a great deal of tension in their relationship. DaBaby claims that for a while, he couldn’t even “stomach” being in the same room as his friend. He eventually forgave him for the debacle for his own sake, as the friend was more like family to him. “It was so left field,” he recalled, calling it “a lesson [he] needed to learn.”

He says that while he’s since forgiven the friend, he now “moves differently.” Nowadays, the rapper claims to avoid situations where he’s in cars with people he doesn’t trust. This wasn’t the only incident that changed his perspective, however. Elsewhere in the episode, DaBaby spoke on his infamous homophobic rant at Rolling Loud 2021.

He explained that the fallout from the incident taught him more about himself, and resulted in him finding a better headspace. “I don’t regret anything that I done been through,” he described. “It feels so good to be able say that and mean it. Despite all the drama and discussion around her upcoming memoir Worthy, Jada Pinkett Smith seems like she’s already looking to the future. Moreover, she recently joined The Today Show on Monday morning (October 16) and spoke to Hoda Kotb about her relationship with Will Smith. What’s more is that the actor even posted a hilarious and cheeky response to all this on Instagram. His latest post is captioned “Notifications off :),” and shows him taking a nap on a boat amid a flurry of notifications. The message is clear: the 55-year-old is not letting any of this gossip and heated debate get to his head, and his wife even commented on it with some laughing emojis.

Jokes aside, we actually did get his first public response to all this thanks to an email sent to The New York Times. During their interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, they said that her memoir “kind of woke [Will Smith] up,” or rather, that said feeling is how he would describe it. “She had lived a life more on the edge than he’d realized. She is more resilient, clever and compassionate than he’d understood,” they paraphrased his thoughts on the matter, and later directly quoted him. “When you’ve been with someone for more than half of your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in. You can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties,” the Philly native expressed. As such, it seems like she has his full support, and that the couple is sticking together amid all this.

With this in mind, for this new Today interview, Jada Pinkett Smith spoke on what she wants her future with Will Smith to be like. “There’s no finding another great love, and I think that’s the point,” the Baltimore native shared “It’s like we are in a place now that we are in a deep, healing space. And we are really concentrating on healing the relationship between us. There’s no divorce on paper. We really have been working hard. That’s the whole thing. We are working very hard at bringing our relationship together. Back to a life partnership.

“Here’s the thing about husband-wife marriage for me, for my healing process,” she continued. “I came into that with very specific ideas that were blocks to me seeing Will as who he is.
