While legal troubles have kept Pooh Shiesty in the news, the Memphis native isn’t letting it stop him from sharing new content with fans. His latest release comes in the form of a new visual for “Switch It Up” with G Herbo and No More Heroes.

The video is quite the reverent effort as the trio gets busy on both the good and bad sides of the laws They accomplish some light flexing throughout the video while giving viewers a look into the not-so-good deeds they involve themselves in.

The song is housed on Shiesty’s spring deluxe edition of his debut album, Shiesty Season, which he released back in May. The project’s arrival came just before a string of low moments for the Memphis native. In the weeks that followed, the rapper would be arrested and charged for two separate shooting incidents in Miami, for both of which he was denied bond and remains in police custody. The first came during a club event where he allegedly shot someone after money was apparently stolen from him. This led to a charge of aggravated battery. The second came from a 2020 Miami robbery that went wrong and led to the rapper and a friend shooting two men. In this case, he was charged with discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy, and robbery under a law regulating commerce.

Pooh Shiesty Was Denied Bail In His Second Shooting Case After Social Media Linked Him To A Robbery

Pooh Shiesty’s current legal troubles continued this week as a Miami judge denied the Memphis rapper bail in the second of his firearms cases after being charged with discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy, and robbery under a law regulating commerce, according to Miami’s local news channel 10.

Shiesty, who is signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records, was charged with the above after allegedly shooting a pair of men alongside two of his own friends, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, after a sneaker deal gone wrong in October 2020. Federal agents were able to link Pooh Shiesty to the robbery thanks to one of his own Instagram posts, matching the serial numbers on bills he flashed in a photo to ones that fell out of Shiesty’s vehicle — a rented McLaren — at the scene of the shooting. Both victims survived.

The news comes after Pooh was denied bail in another shooting case in which the rapper was accused of shooting a security guard at a strip club where he’d just performed. Although the victim supposedly recanted his witness statement, prosecutors found his revised statement fishy and successfully argued against Pooh receiving bail. The timing of both cases couldn’t be worse, as the rapper was on the upswing of his career, with a major hit to his name in “Back In Blood” and a selection to XXL‘s 2021 Freshman class ensuring maximum attention.

Pooh Shiesty’s Instagram Helped Federal Agents Indict Him On Robbery And Gun Charges

The legal troubles are mounting for Pooh Shiesty. The Memphis native, who was previously arrested for aggravated battery after a shooting at a Miami club, received another indictment for a separate incident that also occurred in the same town. On Tuesday, Shiesty was hit with charges in connection to an armed robbery, according to the Miami Herald. In October 2020, he and two friends, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, were set to purchase marijuana and high-end sneakers in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Things went left and Shiesty and Brown allegedly shot two men in the butt and hip.

During the investigation, federal agents were able to connect the rapper to the crime thanks to a photo he posted on Instagram. A Louis Vuitton bag filled with $40,912 dollars that fell out of a Lamborghini McLaren that Shiesty was driving was discovered by investigators. They were able to confirm it was the rapper’s after the agents matched the serial number on the bills to the same wad of cash that Shiesty flaunted in the photo.

In addition to that, after a search of Darosa’s Instagram, investigators found him brandishing the same Draco that was used in the robbery. In the end, Shiesty was charged with discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy, and robbery under a law regulating commerce.

The new indictment comes after a judge denied his bond for the Miami club shooting despite the alleged victim’s decision to recant their prior statement.
