Chrisean Rock & Gloss Up “N.A.L.B.” Single Brings Their Friendship Closer Together

We can hardly keep up with all the times Chrisean Rock was under fire in 2023. Still, the mother of one always manages to make a comeback, even after losing the public’s favour for assaulting a stranger at a Tamar Braxton concert or sharing too much information about her personal life on social media. Even with all of the drama surrounding her, Rock still maintains some strong female friendships, notably with Gloss Up, whom she collaborated with on a must-hear single this past New Music Friday (December 15).

On “N.A.L.B.” the two femcees vent about how men they’ve encountered in today’s dating pool “act like b**ches,” making them feel as though they need to step up and “act like ni**as.” For her part, the Baltimore native slid in some diss bars aimed at Blueface, such as “Real ni**a, I go too hard / His name Chrisean, ‘cuz I’m daddy” and “I shoulda got him pregnant because he actin’ like a fruity loop.” Gloss and Rock have been on Instagram Live celebrating their hard work as the track continues to make rounds on socials.

Even though the music video turned out amazing, both women apparently hated their hair the day that they were filming, but still managed to make the best of the situation.

While Chrisean Rock continues to make it clear she doesn’t need Blueface in her life to help raise their son, the “Thotiana” rapper seems to be trying to save his relationship with Jaidyn Alexis. While the mother of two has taken her MILF Music booking information out of her Instagram bio, her baby daddy insists that she actually owns his new label. DDG Drops Catchy Club Ready Single “She Don’t Play”

Since 2016, DDG has been committing his focus to his budding rap career. Unfortunately, he does not possess a signature sound yet. At this point, it may or may not be too late to see if anything truly big comes out of this venture. This year, the Pontiac, Michigan native put out an album back in the middle of July. Maybe It’s Me… is a sort of sequel to It’s Not Me It’s You from 2022. It is a bit of a letdown when a fourth of your record is renditions of “Im Geekin.” However, DDG is still looking to create hits when he can.

That is right, Logic, Conway the Machine, and RiFF RAFF have just combined their talents for a single. It might be hard to believe, but this is indeed a real thing. Honestly, this is a very solid effort all around. While Logic and Conway make sense, RiFF could have stuck out like a sore thumb on this cut. He is not known for his lyricism, but rather for his wit and comedic tone. Sure, he can drop a grimier track here and there, however, this is not his usual lane. But, he succeeds here and then some.

Playboi Carti Names Offset In New Snippet And Confuses Fans

Playboi Carti is set to drop a new album next month. Overall, fans are excited for this album to finally make its way to streaming. However, no one really knows what the release date is going to be. All we know is that DJ Akademiks has this pegged for January. Carti could decide to change his mind, or the album could even be scrapped should there be some sort of mass leak. Either way, this is going to be very interesting to watch play out. His fans have waited a long time, and fans just want consistency.

Last night, Carti actually released a new song. This new track is called “2024” and there is a real belief that it was one of his best songs despite being out for less than 24 hours. At the end of the day, there is a real appetite for deep voice Carti, and that’s what he is serving up. On his Opium finsta, Carti actually previewed another snippet. In the video below, he can be seen with Ken Carson as well as Destroy Lonely. They are vibing out and seem to be having a great time together.

The track appears to have a great energy to it as Carti shows off more of his deep voice. However, fans did notice that he mentions rapper Offset at one point in the song. Interestingly enough, fans don’t really know if he meant it in a good way or a bad way. No matter what, Offset seems to approve as he reposted the clip on IG. At this point, it seems like everyone in the industry just wants Carti to drop. We have to agree with the sentiment, as his new stuff sounds really sharp and extremely fresh.

Lil Baby Drops Off Two-Pack With “Crazy” And “350”

Lil Baby has not been dropping the same quality in most people’s eyes since 2021, and especially 2020 with My Turn. The Atlanta, Georgia product still possesses great technical ability, but a fair amount believe he is dropping the same tracks with different titles. Over the past couple of months, Baby has been featured on some other artist’s singles. Just last Friday, December 8, he and French Montana collided on “Okay.”

In the middle of October, we saw him dip his toes into electronic with Flowdan and Skrillex on “Pepper.” That one did not bode well for Baby, as he mumbled his way through his verse. The last time we heard solo material from him was back in July with “Merch Madness.” However, he has just broken that streak.
