LUCKI Drops Off Two Singles On New EP “2 Faced”

Low-key Chicago, Illinois rapper LUCKI is looking to build on a strong 2023. The 27-year-old artist came through with his 12th overall project and sixth in the last four years with s*x m*ney dr*gs. Overall, it was an album that was highly beloved by his ultra-passionate following. 2024 looks to be another one of those years for LUCKI.

To open up the next 12 months, he has just dropped a two-pack called 2 Faced. “PAIDNFULL” and “COLORFUL DRUGS” are his first releases so far and they might be on a new album. Rumors are swirling that Gemini will be out on June 21, which is when LUCKI’s birthday is. Coincidentally, the 21st is also a Friday.

Had to put ten Ms in everybody face

Lil Baby Drops Off Two-Pack With “Crazy” And “350”

Lil Baby has not been dropping the same quality in most people’s eyes since 2021, and especially 2020 with My Turn. The Atlanta, Georgia product still possesses great technical ability, but a fair amount believe he is dropping the same tracks with different titles. Over the past couple of months, Baby has been featured on some other artist’s singles. Just last Friday, December 8, he and French Montana collided on “Okay.”

In the middle of October, we saw him dip his toes into electronic with Flowdan and Skrillex on “Pepper.” That one did not bode well for Baby, as he mumbled his way through his verse. The last time we heard solo material from him was back in July with “Merch Madness.” However, he has just broken that streak.

Listen To “Crazy” And “350” By Lil Baby

A couple of days ago, RapTV‘s Instagram account shared that Lil Baby was teasing some new music in the form of cover art. Well, those have just come to fruition. “Power” and “350” are the names of the tracks, and they appear to be a part of a two-pack for right now. Both songs feature the regular lyrics we come to expect from him. The beats are solid, with “Power” containing flurries of piano keys. “350” is a moodier cut, but the beat sort of drowns out Baby’s vocals. They are solid efforts in general, though.

What are your initial thoughts on these brand-new singles, “Crazy” and “350,” by Lil Baby? Out of both songs, which one is better? Do you think he can win back some listeners with these tracks, why or why not? If not, what do you think he needs to do to be all the craze again? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below. Quotable Lyrics (From “Crazy”):

No matter how hard it can get
That boy on the top of the list
I put up a wall and block all of this s***
Stay on my feet, I can’t fall a lil bit
They killed my man, we was all a lil sick
Tryna get to a point where we all can get rich

Kid Cudi, Pusha T & More Set Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update Ablaze

October’s almost over, and so is 2023, so we’re grateful to these artists on our latest Fire Emoji playlist update for keeping up the heat and finishing this year off strong. We had a lot of great new singles this week, such as Tee Grizzley’s lengthy, narrative, and fierce new cut “Robbery 6.” Moreover, the storytelling on display is nothing out of the ordinary for the Michigan MC, but is detailed and filled with enough conviction to make it a vivid banger. In addition, we also have NBA YoungBoy’s new cut “Now Who,” adding to his unsurprisingly prolific 2023 release history. This fits into YB’s more melodic and drowsy songwriting, which means his next project might be more in line with what fans loved from him early on.

Furthermore, another artist who did exactly what they’re best at on our Fire Emoji playlist this week is the one and only Key Glock. Not only did the Memphis spitter flow like wildfire on “One Me,” but chose a grimy and progressive beat to captivate listeners who might not know to his sound. There’s a similar “stick-to-your-guns” energy on Kodak Black’s new single “Eaze Your Mind,” which instrumentally is nothing remarkable. However, the Florida rapper leans into his strained and unfiltered emotive delivery that his die-hards really connect with.

In addition to these new tracks on Fire Emoji, we also got an NBA remix for an NBA-adjacent cut with one of its namesake artists. Rick Ross and Meek Mill enlisted Shaquille O’Neal and Dame D.O.L.L.A., better known as Damian Lillard, for the remix of their song “SHAQ & KOBE.” Also, we have a new G.O.O.D. Music team-up courtesy of CyHi and Pusha T’s new track, “Mr. Put That S**t On.” It’s a dramatic, larger-than-life, and bass-heavy beat that fits their boastful rhymes quite well.

Meanwhile, Wun Two and Conway The Machine brought some classic, woozy boom-bap vibes for us on “Brick by Brick.” Finally, we have Kid Cudi’s new offering “ILL WHAT I BLEED,” a psychedelic trap cut with elastic vocal performances. Let us know what we missed from this week’s new release and what your favorites from Fire Emoji are in the comments down below. Check the playlist out above and come back to HNHH for more great hip-hop releases each week.
