NBA YoungBoy & Jazlyn Mychelle Obtain Marriage License: Report
Fans of NBA YoungBoy had a particularly big weekend. On Friday (January 6), the 22-year-old shared his latest project, I Rest My Case. Thus far, titles like “Black,” “Louie V,” and “Bitch Yeah,” have all emerged as fan favourites. However, the new music isn’t all he has up his sleeve.
As you may recall, the Baton Rouge native previously hinted that he and his girlfriend, Jazlyn Mychelle, would be exchanging vows in the new year. Specifically, followers tuning into a live stream heard that the date was set for January 7.
At the time, YB told his fans that he was feeling lonely. In response, one viewer suggested he try out an often salacious website. “This n*gga said OnlyFans,” the rapper laughed in response.
“I’m getting married [on] January 7. Boy, you can’t pay me $10 million to get on muthaf*ckin’ OnlyFans, n*gga. You crazy,” he went on. “I’m lonely ’cause I ain’t got no fans. Everybody stop liking me, son. So what I’m supposed to do?”
In the time since then, fans have been eagerly awaiting to find out if YoungBoy was being serious. The couple hasn’t confirmed anything themselves. However, there have been some interesting posts popping up across social media recently.
On Sunday (January 8), a blogger’s screenshot of what looks to be a marriage license shows Mychelle and her man’s nuptials took place the day before. Salt Lake City, Utah is the issuing city. No additional details are available at this time.
Elsewhere, on Twitter, another account congratulated the mother of two for seemingly saying yes to the dress at a local bridal studio on Friday.

NBA YoungBoy Debuts Latest Album “I Rest My Case”
After debuting a consistent list of projects in the past year, NBA YoungBoy is bringing more heat with I Rest My Case. Coming mere weeks after his Lost Files mixtape, the rapper’s first album of 2023 contains just under 20 songs with zero features.
After originally signing to Atlantic Records, NBA YoungBoy is now with Motown Records, making I Rest My Case his first project released under the label, Billboard reported.

He also became one of the most streamed U.S. artists in 2022, a testament to the “Make No Sense” rapper’s dedicated fanbase.

Yaya Mayweather Shares NBA YoungBoy Quote In Photo Series
Yaya Mayweather is celebrating the new year by dropping a photo series on Instagram. Posing in a pink crop top and jeans, the 22-year-old captioned it, “Too many people watching me bye.”
NBA Youngboy, who shares a son with Mayweather, said the quote after noticing nearly 200K fans on his Instagram Live. The viral moment later began to make the rounds on Instagram and TikTok.
This past December, Mayweather was sentenced for allegedly stabbing a woman in 2020. Previously pleading guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, she was only given six years probation in the case.
Her lawyer told People last year, “We resolved the case between Iyanna and the State. The agreement calls for Iyanna being on deferred adjudication for a period of 6 years after which she will have no felony conviction and the case will be dismissed. She is eligible to have the deferred adjudication end after two years pending her good behavior.”

Mayweather was previously arrested by Houston police in 2020 after getting into a physical altercation with Lapattra Lashai Jacobs. Describing herself as his fiancée, she allegedly grabbed two knives at the rapper’s home and charged at Jacobs, who was later treated for her injuries and also underwent surgery.
Youngboy is reportedly engaged to Jaylyn Michelle, who welcomed the Louisiana native’s 10th child in 2022. However, he and Mayweather sparked relationship rumors last August after she shared a mirror selfie with the caption, “Feels so good to be back home.”
It was soon revealed that Youngboy was photographed in the same room, leading many to think that the two had reunited.
Despite their past tumultuous relationship, the pair appear to still be on good terms.

NBA YoungBoy Gearing Up To Drop First Album Of 2023 This Friday
NBA YoungBoy was undeniably one of the most active rappers of the year in 2022. Successfully dropping eight tapes over the past 12 months, the 23-year-old was all over everyone’s playlists.
It seems as though he has his eyes on continuing this trend in 2023 as well.
According to reports from Billboard, the Baton Rouge native will celebrate the first week of the new year by releasing his first offering of 2023. The album is titled I Rest My Case.
The official album cover is circulating on social media in anticipation of its arrival on streaming services on Friday (January 6).
Furthermore, the project will serve as YoungBoy’s first under his new label, Motown Records. He signed the deal in October last year and reports indicated that it would go into effect in 2023.
Following this news, the “Make No Sense” rapper claimed to be turning down large sums of money for potential tours. “I done found time for myself. Every $15 million tour come my way getting turned down. I don’t wanna do no show. I don’t want nothing but a bigger house. It gave me time for myself. My daughter know who I am, b*tch, I know who I am,” he flexes in the Instagram video.
The final of the aforementioned eight albums he released in 2022, was the 21-track Lost Files. Among the other seven are two joint projects with other rappers. The first of which is BETTER THAN YOU with Da Baby. The latter, released in November, is 3860 with Quando Rondo.
It will certainly be interesting to see how many more projects he drops off this year.
