NBA YoungBoy Hit With Prescription Drugs Fraud Accusations Through 63 Charges: Report

As folks continue to react to NBA YoungBoy’s recent arrest in Utah on multiple charges, it looks like this case is getting much more complicated and serious. For those unaware, news of his Tuesday (April 16) arrest relayed charges of “patterns of unlawful activity, procuring or attempting to procure drugs, identity fraud, forgery, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a dangerous weapon.” According to a Wednesday (April 17) report from KUTV, the Baton Rouge native got hit with 63 total charges encompassing his alleged furthering of prescription drug fraud scheme. Police accuse him of participating in a plot that called in prescriptions with real medics’ names, but fake patient names.

This news after YB’s mugshot emerged online, and police continued their claim by alleging that his crew would pick these drugs up from local pharmacies. Specifically, he faces 20 counts of identity fraud, 20 counts of obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, and 20 counts of forgery. Also, YoungBoy faces one count each of the following charges: possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, continuing a pattern of illegal activity, and possession of a controlled substance. Overall, it seems to be a wide-ranging case, and these alleged actions constitute multiple crimes that pose a serious threat to his future.

Furthermore, YoungBoy was arrested at his home in Utah following a police raid, the property on which he’s been on house arrest since 2022, awaiting a federal gun trial in Louisiana. During this raid, law enforcement reportedly seized multiple prescription pills, weapons, and electronic devices after they issued a search warrant. While there’s not much else we know about this case at press time following these 63 charges, we’ve rounded up what’s available here. Hopefully this situation becomes a bit clearer with time, although we can’t imagine it’ll get any easier for the 24-year-old.

NBA YoungBoy Taunts Finesse2tymes By Going At His Child’s Mother, He Responds

When NBA YoungBoy goes for other rappers through social media beef, there’s a dangerous chance that he’ll open up his shots to many more people in that target’s circle. That’s what’s happening right now to both Finesse2tymes and Real Boston Richey, also known as Boston Richey. They caught unorthodox shots from the “Catch Him” MC, with him posting a picture of Finesse’s child’s mother on his Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 10) that depicts her in pink lingerie and bunny ears. “I got that bag fr,” he captioned, and for another picture he posted of Richey’s girlfriend bending over in a car, he added a mountain emoji and a question mark as his caption, possibly an invite to his “Gravedigger Mountain” property.

Finesse2tymes wasted no time in responding to YoungBoy, although he deleted his Instagram posts about the matter shortly after. “Somebody tell @nba_youngboy u must forgot I’m from Memphis homie we aint tender #Making #Easy #Money #Pimpin #H*es #Is #Serious,” the “Fat Boy” spitter captioned a since-deleted post. “Tell him come on wit it,” he had captioned a repost of YB’s picture of his child’s mother on his Story. As for Boston Richey, he doesn’t seem to have addressed this as of writing this article.

In fact, he actually got some significantly more pressing and scandalous drama emerge surrounding his partner, as he had to speak on allegations that his girlfriend is underage. Still, this is a topic are that YoungBoy avoided altogether with these inciting posts, and we can’t know for sure how earnest or troll-based they are. Regardless, we’re sure that this could turn pretty ugly fast, as he’s known to be pretty unfiltered, blunt, and combative when he finds himself at odds with others in the game. Some of NBA YoungBoy’s fanbase can be quite obsessive, to the point where an old picture of someone in jean shorts and a white tank top could be their GOAT. Moreover, fans apparently unearthed an old Google Maps image of his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana that supposedly shows him as a 13-year-old. It’s unclear exactly how fans came to this conclusion, although a likely theory is that they did the math and found that this photo’s date lined up with when the rapper was 13 years old. This hasn’t been confirmed, though. Alas, it wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened in recent memory, as fans also questioned a family Easter pic.

Furthermore, it just goes to show that YoungBoy’s hold on his fanbase is quite powerful, and that they will always bring him to the forefront of rap conversations based on even the slightest speculation. What’s more is that he’s got a lot to promote these days, such as his recent album. In the nearly two-year span since, many folks wondered what happened with this feud and whether it came to a private resolution. Well, that’s kind of what Boosie suggested during a recent sit-down with Cam Capone News. YB came up as a subject of discussion, and fans waiting for an answer now have a vague but curious one.

Last weekend, NBA YoungBoy’s baby mama Arcola scared her Instagram followers when she went Live from the trunk of a car. Moreover, she claimed to have been kidnapped and then let her page know that she was okay, which confused a lot of people. After all, many wondered, why would you go on Instagram Live rather than calling 911 or clarifying the situation after the fact? New audio emerged on Sunday night (February 26) of Arcola confessing that this was a big misunderstanding and that she didn’t actually call the police.

The long-running feud between NBA YoungBoy and DJ Akademiks has no end in sight, and even burner accounts on social media aren’t safe from it. Moreover, the former just posted a new Instagram video dissing the latter on his burner account, with a written message and a spoken one. Specifically, the Baton Rouge rapper wanted to clown the media personality for always speaking on him and posting him on his pages despite their current beef. Not only that, but he also pointed out that Ak is kicking him while he’s down during house arrest in Utah, and that he doesn’t even bother him most of the time.
