Treach & Scarface’s “Special Bond” With 2Pac Gets Big Love From Suge Knight

Suge Knight recently spoke on the bond that Treach and Scarface shared with 2Pac during the 1990s. “I wanna say this about Pac, I wanna say this about Treach, I wanna say this about Scarface. These three young men, as artists and men, have a bond that we need to teach and people need to use their model. Treach and 2Pac was road dogs. Still today, you can count on Treach to represent Pac. You can count on Treach to live with Pac far as he still represent that man. Suge didn’t express the same love for Snoop Dogg. In a previous episode of the podcast, Suge “demanded” answers from Snoop over Pac’s death. “As far as the Puffy situation, I really, really, really gotta have a real conversation with Snoop. I knew that ‘Pac did everything right by him by putting him on All Eyez On Me, speaking about him and being real with him. And if it’s true what they say, face-to-face it’s gonna be a lot of explaining to do,” Suge said. Furthermore, he claimed that Snoop did not travel to Vegas with the rest of the Death Row crew because “something was going to happen”.

Furthermore, last month, Suge made the claim that Deion Sanders was once part of Death Row Records. “Deion Sanders — when Prime wanted to be a rapper, he said: ‘I want to be a rapper. I spent over half a million dollars of my own money. I put guys in the studio, I paid Dallas Austin, I did all these songs — did everything. Then one day he came to me and said, ‘Well, y’know, Prime deal with Nike and Death Row is a Black-owned company, and we don’t really want to deal with a Black-owned company. Even though you paid for everything and we signed to you, put us on the Interscope brand’,” Suge told The Daily Cannon.

Sanders put out two albums – 1994’s Prime Time and 2005’s The Encore Remix. Prime Time even charted, reaching #70 on the Billboard Hip Hop chart and #14 on the US Heatseekers chart. However, it’s definitely brand-new information that the album could have originally come out under Suge’s iconic brand.

People have claimed that Beyonce’s film opening in Israel is inherent support of Israel by Beyonce. Despite this, people have argued that Beyonce is likely not in control of the film’s distribution. Instead, it’s more likely that Beyonce has a distribution agreement, most likely with AMC. As a result of this, the film may be shown in controversial places, such as Israel.

This week saw the end of a number of temporary ceasefires between Israel and Palestine. With the end of the ceasefire, Israel has commenced a heavy bombing campaign against targets in the southern Gaza Strip. Beyoncé’s latest concert movie, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, is well on its way to smashing box office records. On Friday, December 1, the highly-anticipated movie, featuring dazzling tour footage from the Renaissance World Tour, was released globally in AMC Theaters.

Just as the concert experience sold out in cities worldwide, so did the film showings. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renaissance is on track to set a record as the North American box office numbers are crunched, with a projected gross of nearly $22 million domestically. If true, the film could become one of the biggest early December box office openings in two decades.

Beyoncé has a proven record of drawing in tons of viewers. Back in 2019, Forbes revealed that the singer’s 2019 Netflix documentary Homecoming pulled in 1.1 million U.S. viewers and an average minute audience of 828,000 viewers on internet-connected TV devices on its premiere date, which was backed by Nielsen’s SVOD Content Ratings system.

Dionne Warwick Says Doja Cat Never Reached Out For Sample As She Makes It Clap In Bathrobe

As one of the biggest and most acclaimed hits of the year, it was very hard to avoid Doja Cat’s “Paint The Town Red” in 2023. However, it seems like the song’s point of inspiration never even heard about what the song wanted to do before it actually came out. Moreover, Dionne Warwick recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and spoke about how the rapper and singer sampled her hit “Walk On By” in the chart-topper. At one point, she recalled not even knowing that Doja wanted to record that song, at which point Clarkson brought up that they probably had to ask permission to clear the sample.

Then, Warwick said that she didn’t hear anything about clearing the sample, but still showed love to the song and thanked Doja Cat for introducing her work to a whole new generation. As such, it seems like there are no hard feelings here about this song becoming so huge, even if the 82-year-old was a bit out of the loop. Of course, it’s entirely possible that this sample clearance occurred between each artist’s teams and not between them personally. We might never know for sure, but the important thing is that this is an amicable relationship.

Boosie has taken aim at the people calling him a “snitch” for suing multiple rappers in recent weeks. “To those people calling me a snitch for suing…They the same people that want you to go to shoot somebody behind this. They would rather you go shoot somebody instead of sue somebody. Cuz they wanna holler ‘Free Boosie’ so they get likes. It’s called ‘tricking you off the streets’. I woke up to my DM the other day like ‘Boosie you fake now man. You supposed to shoot that [expletive][expletive] up’,” Boosie said on a recent livestream.

Furthermore, Boosie argued that people don’t make the same comments about 50 Cent. “When people do the sh-t to 50 Cent and 50 sue they a–, do y’all call him a snitch for suing? Or do y’all laugh and applaud it?” Boosie asked. The most recent target of Boosie’s legal ire was Rod Wave. According to Boosie, Wave used a sample without permission. “That n-gga Rod Wave ain’t pull up on me. I don’t own the song fully, I own a percentage of it. I still have publishing in it and writer’s credits. So, I guess when he found out that, he don’t want to give me nothing. We going to court. Nobody contacted me. Nobody gave me my publishing. Nobody gave me my writer’s credit. How you clear it, when you ain’t clear it with me?” Boosie explained in a recent livestream.

Meanwhile, Boosie also revealed the offer he had made to Wave to avoid a lawsuit. According to Boosie, he asked for $200K and 25% of the track’s onward profits. Furthermore, Boosie implied that Wave had submitted a counteroffer and explained that he hadn’t cleared the sample with his own label, let alone Boosie’s team. It remains unclear if Boosie is going ahead with his lawsuit as a result.

However, Boosie isn’t the only one handing out lawsuits. In a recent stream, Boosie revealed that he was the subject of two lawsuits. The first was a wrongful death suit over an incident that occurred near a 2017 music video shoot. The second suit stems from a brawl that broke out during a Legendz Of The Street Tour performance in Atlanta in 2021. Boosie has expressed his frustration with both suits, arguing that they don’t make sense as he wasn’t directly involved in either of them.
