If ever there were a time for someone to rest on laurels, it would be after a gigantic statue in your image was erected in your hometown. And if that sounds like a strangely specific hypothetical, it’s because that exact scenario played out for Shakira in December when a 21-foot bronze statue of Shakira was unveiled in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia. However, instead of retiring, Shakira announced Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, her 12th studio album and first album since 2017. The LP is due out on March 22.

“My new album, coming out March 22, is one I created together with all of you, my pack of shewolves who were there for me every step of the way,” Shakira captioned an Instagram announcement on February 15. “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song, I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into strength.”

This morning, February 29, Shakira unveiled the full Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tracklist, including the 2023 single “Acróstico” featuring her sons, Milan and Sasha. Check it out below.

Spring is coming up, with the first official day of the new season being March 19. That means summer is coming, which means festival season is near. In recent months, fests have been unveiling their lineups, and we have another one today (February 20): Baja Beach Fest.

The 2024 edition of the annual event is set to go down from August 9 to 11 in Rosarito Beach, Mexico (which is barely across the border and just over a three-hour drive from Los Angeles, for reference). Headlining the three-day, 18-plus, reggaeton- and Latin-focused fest are Rauw Alejandro, Peso Pluma, Fuerza Regida, and Kali Uchis. Becky G, Yandel, Mora, Jhayco, Sech, Latin Mafia, Xavi, Jowell Y Randy, De La Ghetto, Alvaro Diaz, Snow The Product, and more.

When it comes to passes, prospective attendees can currently join a waitlist via the Baja Beach Fest website. Their are four tiers of three-day pass: 3-Day GA at $459, 3-Day GA+ at $629, 3-Day VIP at $959, and 3-Day La Playa at $2,059, with no hidden fees attached to any of those prices.

The beachside fest has a lot to offer beyond the music as a press release notes, “During the festival, the town comes alive with merchants, surfing, ATV riding, horseback riding, and other beach activities, street food, and more, creating a party atmosphere that extends for blocks in either direction.”

Is Sueños Festival 2024 Sold Out?

Chicago’s Sueños Festival is set to take place over Memorial Day Weekend (May 25 and 26) in Grant Park, with Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro, Maluma, and Ivan Cornejo headlining the popular event. Other acts on the 2024 lineup include Young Miko, Xavi, Latin Mafia, Gabito Ballesteros, Jowell y Randy, Bizarrap, Bad Gyal, and many more.

As fans gear up to head to Grant Park to watch their favorite performers, some who don’t have tickets yet might wonder how they can still attend.

Here’s what to know about the current ticket availability for Sueños Festival.

Is Sueños Festival 2024 Sold Out?

Right now, yes, this year’s Sueños Festival is currently sold out. Those who are still hoping to go can try joining the waitlist through the festival’s official website. This includes a separate waitlist depending on the tier of ticket you might want, as four levels are being offered.

Fans could also try their luck at finding a resale pass through other methods, but it might be risky in terms of scams or higher prices.

Still, given that the festival has only been running for a few years, the fact that they sold out of all their passes and types speaks to just how great the 2024 iteration should be.

Kali Uchis’ New Album ‘Orquídeas’: Everything To Know Including The Release Date, Tracklist & More

Kali Uchis is one of this generation’s most consistent artists. The sheer volume of music that pours out of her is pretty astounding. What is even more remarkable is that her sonic creativity spans two languages. Last year, she flexed her vocal abilities in English on Red Moon In Venus. This year, on Orquídeas, she will do it all again, but in Spanish.

In a statement, she discussed the delicate inspiration behind the forthcoming project. “The orchid is the national flower of Colombia, and we have more species of orchid than anywhere on earth,” she said. “I always felt distinctly intrigued and magnetized by the flower. This album is inspired by the timeless, eerie, mystic, striking, graceful, and sensual allure of the orchid. With this vast scope of fresh energy, I wish to redefine the way we look at Latinas in music.”

Continue below for everything you need to know about Kali Uchis’ new album Orquídeas, including the release date, tracklist, and more.

Although the project features 14 tracks, Kali Uchis only shared three singles before Orquídeas’ release. Those singles were “Te Mata,” “Muñekita,” featuring JT & El Alfa, and “Labios Mordidos,” featuring Karol G.

Kali Uchis has worked with dozens of artists in the past. But, for Orquídeas, she narrowed the number of guest appearances. So far, the only confirmed features on the body of work are Peso Pluma, JT (of The City Girls), El Alfa, Karol G, and Rauw Alejandro.

Pharrell Williams, Swae Lee, and Rauw Alejandro Drop New Single “Airplane Tickets”

Pharrell Williams, Swae Lee, and Rauw Alejandro Drop New Single "Airplane Tickets"

Today, Pharrell Williams joins Swae Lee and Rauw Alejandro for their much-anticipated new single, “Airplane Tickets.” The track debuted on Nov. 30th at Williams’ Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 Runway Show in Hong Kong. Accompanying the song is the official music video, directed by Maxime Quoilin and produced by the Good Company. Filmed in various locations throughout Hong Kong, including the iconic Avenue of Stars, the video adds a visually stunning dimension to the collaboration. Fans can now listen to the catchy and energetic “Airplane Tickets” and enjoy the vibrant visuals that complement the infectious beats of the track.

Pharrell Williams, Rauw Alejandro, And Swae Lee Seek An Overseas Love On Their New Collab, ‘Airplane Tickets’

Pharrell Williams is soaring to new heights with his new single. Tonight (December 8), the prolific producer and hitmaker has shared “Airplane Tickets,” A smooth new collab featuring Rauw Alejandro and Swae Lee.

On the streamy new single, the three fly fellas look to treat their ladies with the finer things, by way of international travel, excursions, and fine fashions.

“I got airplane tickets with your name on them / And, girl, you’re fine by me ’cause you’re good money / Say you’ll fall in love, girl, you might as well / All jokes aside, make you mine for real,” they sing on the song’s chorus.

Pharrell first debuted the song last month at his Louis Vuitton Men’s Pre-Fall 2024 Runway Show in Hong Kong. In an interview with GQ earlier this year, Pharrell opened up about his partnership with Louis Vuitton as well as his relationship with fashion as a whole.

“It’s not really about the items—even though we have a lot of items and we make new ones as well,” he said. “It’s about the idea. Trusting the brand that says that they understand what luxury is and how they can better suit your life.”

You can listen to “Airplane Tickets” above.

Pharrell Previews Swae Lee & Rauw Alejandro Collab At Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

As Louis Vuitton’s creative director, you can expect Pharrell to take good care of the aux at its fashion shows. Moreover, he recently hosted one on Friday night (December 1) to show off his new collection for the brand, and was joined by some special guests. Most notably, Swae Lee– the superstar who formed Rae Sremmurd with his brother– and Rauw Alejandro– the Puerto Rican superstar making waves for his sci-fi-inspired take on reggaetón– had a great time at the show, sitting in the runway’s front row. Not only that, but Skateboard P actually previewed a collaboration between the two.

Furthermore, Pharrell played the unreleased team-up as the models strutted their stuff. Swae Lee and Rauw Alejandro mime-performed their own verses, and then stood up together to dance, sing along, laugh, and show off each other’s fits. It’s unclear whether the “At The Party” producer actually made this beat, which is a cohesive fusion of reggaetón, R&B, and dancehall stylings. We can safely assume he did, not just because of the circumstance of the premiere, but because it’s a pretty awesome groove, too.

Rauw Alejandro & Swae Lee Dance To Their Collab At Pharrell’s LV Show: Watch

Of course, Pharrell has a long and legendary history of collaborating with amazing artists to make timeless music. However, it’s something that he’s pretty humble about when comparing himself to his other producer friends, and we had a wholesome example of that with Timbaland recently. While they attended Swizz Beatz’s birthday dinner together, they debated over who has the better team-up tracks with Jay-Z. Rather than argue for themselves, they argued for each other’s catalog, which is a camaraderie that’s rare to see in today’s competitive environment.

Meanwhile, there’s also a lot of speculation about what Mr. Williams will drop next when it comes to music. Recently, he suggested that N.E.R.D. could be coming back to release new material, which obviously got fans very excited. Hopefully we get some news about this soon, and we can get our hands on this full jam between these entertainers. On that note, stay logged into HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Pharrell, Swae Lee, and Rauw Alejandro.
