Beyoncé does it again. Her highly anticipated album, Cowboy Carter, is already rolling in accolades stemming from the project’s massive streaming number.

According to Spotify, the body of work’s debut earned the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer another notch on her belt. The streamer shared the news on its official X (formerly Twitter) page. “On Friday, March 29, Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day in 2024 so far,” read the note.

The collaborative album We Don’t Trust You by Metro Boomin and Future previously held the crown. But the history-setting for Beyoncé didn’t stop there. Spotify revealed that thanks to Cowboy Carter‘s performance on the platform, it also set a new milestone for country music overall. “This is also the first time a country album holds the title this year,” they wrote.

The album’s projection onto the Guggenheim Museum and Rome’s Colosseum, plus its many conversation-stirring cover variants, Cowboy Carter was bound for global domination.

In a letter penned by the musician, the album was birthed from a place of “not feeling welcomed.” But it has turned into “a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive” that supporters are eating up.

Will Beyoncé Go On Tour For ‘Cowboy Carter?’

Beyoncé is one of the most unpredictable active artists. Every image, online caption, and article of clothing the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer wears is a clue of sorts. The only problem is you never know what to look for until her business venture is announced (e.g., Cécred) or the project drops.

So, the Beyhive is always on high alert. With her forthcoming studio album, Cowboy Carter, expected to hit streaming platforms this Friday, March 29, many believe Beyoncé could be hitting the road yet again. Continue below for further speculation.

Will Beyoncé Go On Tour For ‘Cowboy Carter?’

Between May and October 2023, Beyoncé galavanted around the globe on her Renaissance World Tour. The tour was not only a chance to experience the Grammy Award-winning album live. But an event experience to let attendees and her stellar dancers (including daughter Blue Ivy) cast their worries behind. So, can fans expect an extension of the musical celebration for a Cowboy Carter tour? The answer is maybe.

If history serves as an indication, it is highly likely that Beyoncé will embark on another tour. In the past, she’s had a headlining tour for each of her solo albums (with the expectation of 2011’s 4 and 2019’s The Lion King: The Gift).

However, Beyoncé has never done tours this close together, the closest being 2013’s The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour (which ended in 2014) and 2016’s The Formation World Tour. Beyoncé hasn’t officially announced anything, but that’s no solace for supporters’ wallets. A tour announcement could come right after Cowboy Carter is officially dropped.

For now, just be prepared to saddle up and kick off the yeehaw agenda from the comforts of your home via your favorite streaming platform.

Beyoncé’s ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ Reportedly Earns The Singer Her First Country Music Chart Placement

The Yeehaw agenda prevails. Over a decade into her career, Beyoncé continues to tap into different pockets of creatives. After her internet-breaking Super Bowl LVIII commercial sent fans into a frenzy by dropping two new singles, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” off Renaissance Act II. Nearly a week after the records’ release, they’re gearing up to add another professional notch to Beyoncé’s already impressive resume.

According to Rolling Stone, “Texas Hold’ Em” earned Beyoncé her very first country music chart placements. The outlet reports that “Texas Hold ‘Em” is projected to come in the No. 54 slot on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart following an account of 1.1 million impressions on airwaves.

Beyoncé’s devoted superfans, the Beyhive, are to thank for this accomplishment. On February 13, a supporter took to X (formerly Twitter) to share that Oklahoma-based radio station KYKC did not have the record in rotation because, as they wrote: “We do not play Beyoncé on KYKC as we are a country music station.”

Shortly after receiving an influx of stings from the Beyhive, the station had a change of tune. It appears other stations have since jumped on board. The pivot from her electronic-centered offerings on Renaissance to the foot-tapping bango serving on her forthcoming Renaissance Act II seems like a stark jump, but at this point of Beyoncé’s career, she isn’t here to play it safe.

Is Beyoncé Dropping A Country Album In 2024?

For months, fans have been begging Beyoncé for the visuals for her Grammy Award-winning album, Renaissance. Today (February 11), during Super Bowl LVIII, the “Thique” singer finally delivered something for supporters to sink their teeth into.

Although the commercial wasn’t quite the visual the public was looking forward to, it confirms that the “Renaissance Era” is far from over. As Beyoncé takes a road trip back to her home state, Texas, she teases that something special is on the way.

So, what exactly should the Beyhive expect from their Queen Bey?

Is Beyoncé Dropping A Country Album In 2024?

Following the Easter eggs sprinkled into her 2024 Grammys wardrobe, it appears that Beyoncé is gearing up to drop a country album. But will it be released this year? Again, it seems that the answer is yes.

Based on the artwork, Renaissance Act II is scheduled to be released on March 29.

According to Pop Crave, the forthcoming album will feature 16 tracks. Of the records rumored to hit streaming platforms, the platform believes two songs are titled “Texas Hold’ Em” and “16 Carriages.” This wouldn’t be Beyoncé’s first venture into country music if you think back to her 2016 collaboration “Daddy Lessons” with The Chicks.

Beyoncé is known for her pop, R&B, and even rap records. But it looks like country music should brace itself for Bey’s formal entry.

Is Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Coming To Roku?

Last week Beyoncé’s new concert movie Renaissance was the top movie in America, bringing in $21 million worth of ticket sales. Unfortunately, the movie won’t be in theaters much longer. However, a new rumor floating around social media has users breathing a sigh of relief. Is Beyoncé’s Renaissance movie coming to Roku?

According to Beyoncé’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, the answer is flat out no. On Saturday, December 9, a post uploaded to Noel-Schure’s official Instagram page put a kibosh on that rumor.

“‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ is ONLY playing in movie theatres worldwide,” Noel-Schure wrote. “The comments that the film will play on Roku are categorically false.”

Well, that’s the end of that. If you want to watch Renaissance, you have till the end of the month to do so.

How Long Will Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Be In Theaters?

Despite AMC’s best efforts to break the soul of theatergoers, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé persevered through breaking box office records during its opening weekend.

That’s right. The theater company’s restrictive conduct guidelines didn’t stop the BeyHive from releasing their wiggle down the aisle of each show. However, after a viral post on X (formerly Twitter) questioning the limited screening availability, those looking to see the concert visual are riddled with questions. The first is how long Beyoncé’s Renaissance movie will be in theaters.

According to NME, US and UK theaters are expected to wrap up on Sunday, December 10. This is seemingly confirmed on the schedule posted on AMC’s official webpage for the film.

On average, a typical movie is shown in theaters for anywhere between twelve and twenty weeks, depending on the film. In Taylor Swift’s case, her The Eras Tour concert reportedly will be able to be enjoyed at AMC theaters for thirteen weeks but with limited locations. Although their schedules are different, Swift and Beyoncé’s films share something in common: Both concert works are set to broadly be shown on the weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

So, if you want to see Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, and the tour’s dancers in all of their glory, your window is quickly closing.

Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Is Reportedly Set To Gross Nearly $22 Million At The Box Office For Its Opening Weekend

Beyoncé’s latest concert movie, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, is well on its way to smashing box office records. On Friday, December 1, the highly-anticipated movie, featuring dazzling tour footage from the Renaissance World Tour, was released globally in AMC Theaters.

Just as the concert experience sold out in cities worldwide, so did the film showings. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renaissance is on track to set a record as the North American box office numbers are crunched, with a projected gross of nearly $22 million domestically. If true, the film could become one of the biggest early December box office openings in two decades.

Beyoncé has a proven record of drawing in tons of viewers. Back in 2019, Forbes revealed that the singer’s 2019 Netflix documentary Homecoming pulled in 1.1 million U.S. viewers and an average minute audience of 828,000 viewers on internet-connected TV devices on its premiere date, which was backed by Nielsen’s SVOD Content Ratings system.

Movies made a huge comeback this year, with several musicians partnering with AMC to distribute their films. Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus was shown at select theaters in July. Russ’ Santiago followed in September. Both Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert films dominated the theaters. So, who runs the world? Girls.

What’s The Runtime For Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie

Are you ready for the renaissance? If you’re not, you will want to steer clear of all AMC theatres. Today (December 1), Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé hit the cineplex in all its glory, and the Beyhive will surely attend in droves.

From the massive final setlist of songs, breakouts showcasing Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour robust featured dancers, the Mute Challenge spotlight, and plenty of cameos of Blue Ivy Carter (a.k.a. her mother’s unofficial manager), you’re going to want to make sure your commemorative popcorn bucket is filled to the brim. The Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé’s runtime is a doozy. According to the details listed on the AMC Theatres webpage, dedicated to the concert movie, the official runtime is 2 hours and 48 minutes.

Before you rethink getting a ticket to the film, Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay took to Instagram to praise the visual. “The woman is a director in every sense of the word and beyond,” she wrote. “In the film, the performances are spectacular for their entertainment value but also as a gorgeous spectacle of craft – from the art direction to the costumes to the editing and lighting design. It’s stunning.”

So, as DuVerany says, it is surely worth the nearly three-hour experience in your local theater.

Taylor Swift Returned Beyoncé’s Favor And Made A Surprise Appearance At The ‘Renaissance’ Movie Premiere In London

Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have been pitted against each other this year, since their respective tours, The Eras Tour and Renaissance, have been the biggest concert events of 2023. It doesn’t feel like Swift and Beyoncé themselves see each other as adversaries, though. In October, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance at Swift’s premiere for her Eras Tour concert movie.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot: Beyoncé’s own film chronicling her own massive tour (dubbed Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé) is premiering in London today (November 30), and it has been rumored that Swift was planning to show up. TMZ reported earlier today that Swift hopped on a private jet bound for London, and it appears that’s the truth: The UK premiere is getting underway, as photos and videos of Swift on the red carpet are starting to surface on social media.

Swift posed for photos and videos with fans in attendance while rocking an outfit featuring a sparkling silver Balmain gown, jewelry via Anita Ko, and shoes from Giuseppe Zanotti.

Meanwhile, Swift recently released the fan-favorite song “You’re Losing Me” on streaming platforms, and Beyoncé’s only a few days removed from the Beverly Hills premiere of the Renaissance movie.
