For Latto, though, it’s clear that there was no other path for her, and it’s heartening to see her look back on this journey. Moreover, you might have caught a clip that went viral on social media of her live rap performance as a 13-year-old that caught many’s eye. After this made more rounds and started to gain a lot of traction, the Colombus-born but Atlanta-raised spitter reacted to the clip on Twitter. “Don’t give up [star emoji],” she simply captioned the clip, hopefully inspiring many others to do the same.

Of course, this was a particularly interesting moment because of all the recent song teases that Latto’s been offering these days. For example, she will collaborate with rapper Anycia, and fans really liked the bar work, chemistry, and beat choice that the two femcees emulated in a snippet. However, it didn’t come without its “conflicts” in the form of fanbase wars, as people thought that the 25-year-old sent shots at Nicki Minaj with a bar about an auntie getting hurt. While there are certainly more ridiculous female rap beefs that die-hards make up, it’s still tiring to interpret every negative bar as aimed at a specific target.

Not only that, but this spat also caused folks to assume a rift between her and Ice Spice. Again, that’s all based on theories and speculation, but this hasn’t stopped Latto’s hunger to be a top-tier lyricist that she displayed as early as her teen years. Along with other names like Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Little Simz, Doechii, and many more, she’s among the long list of reasons as to why women are leading rap forward this decade. T-Pain’s Natural Vocals Leave Fans Stunned In New Live Performance

T-Pain’s talent is no longer really up for debate. The once quite maligned autotune crooner has emerged as an unmistakable talent in recent years. That came when he more than proved that he was capable of singing without the vocal effects. In a recent video, he once again delivered an absolutely spectacular performance that saw fans blown away by his natural vocal talents.

The performance is called On Top Of The Covers (Live From The Sun Rose) and it was also shared to streaming platforms as a live album. The performance features numerous songs that T-Pain made his own versions of on his recent cover album Under The Covers. He also works some of his own classic hits into the mix throughout the setlist. Scarface And Mike Dean Deliver An Unforgettable Performance For NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert

NPR’s Tiny Desk is one of the great joys amongst hardcore music fans of all genres. The mixture of live instrumentation and star power has drawn many to YouTube to see the creativity come to life. We have seen plenty of standout performances this year. Action Bronson, Tyler, The Creator, Anderson .Paak, Post Malone, and more have brought their unique flavor to the table. The latest artist to perform was legendary Houston MC, Scarface. He has been one of the most iconic names from that richly-talented city.

Scarface was joined by his right-hand man, Mike Dean, for a six-song performance. The setlist included “On My Block,” “Mary Jane,” “Smile,” “I Seen a Man Die,” “F*** Faces,” and “Mind Playing Tricks on Me.” According to Billboard, Tiny Desk producer DJ Cuzzin B could not help but gush about Scarface and Dean’s output. He called it the “best hip-hop Tiny Desk we’ve ever put out.”

Gunna Wows Dubai With Exciting Performance, Kills His “Top Off” Rendition

Gunna is taking his talents overseas, and his first of two Dubai performances this weekend was quite the show. Moreover, he performed at the Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday (December 16), and will also perform on Sunday (December 17) to open the desert resort Blu Oasis. As such, the (former?) YSL affiliate has a lot to look forward to in the United Arab Emirates and other parts of the world. In fact, it’s very heartening to see him delve into other genres and scenes that weren’t within his Atlanta trap wheelhouse. For example, Sarz and Asake recently brought the College Park native on for an Afrobeat cut, “Happiness.”

Furthermore, following his comeback album this year after his YSL RICO trial controversies, seeing him switch his style up has ranged from surprisingly great to mildly entertaining– at least, in this writer’s opinion. More genres, world influences, travel experiences, and just general growth as a person will surely yield a lot of happiness, greatness, and success for Gunna. After all, his current space in the rap game, although still established and unwavering, seems destined for conflict. Lil Baby turned against his former partner like many other MCs, and while they’d rather see Wunna fall, it’s clear that he won’t let any narratives stop him on his journey.

Regardless of all that, Gunna remains as compelling of a performer as ever, running through verses with methodical pace and making sure every word is felt. Beyond that, it seems like he’s going to take things pretty chill this holiday season. Out of the many people in the 30-year-old’s life with which he will celebrate it, one specific new addition to his circle has fans particularly interested. However, the unnamed collaborator allegedly refused because she was under the impression Minaj doesn’t like her – something the mother of one could only laugh at. While she didn’t drop names, many quickly assumed she was speaking about Doja Cat, who recruited Nicki to join her on the “Say So (Remix).”

“They said that it was a lot of different things, but you know, I didn’t realize, they said that they don’t think I like them,” Papa Bear’s mom recalled her conversation with the other performer’s team. “She passed on it,” Minaj additionally revealed in the comment section.” The internet has been eagerly waiting for a response from Doja, who surprised us by keeping things positive and even shouting out the “Did It On ‘Em” hitmaker during her recent show.

As some are pointing out, this is actually part of the original outro of the song on her LP, so it’s not a huge surprise for her to include. At the same time, others are suggesting that Minaj was talking about someone else entirely.

Doja Cat is currently killing it on her Scarlet tour across the United States, which has brought us no shortage of great, wild, and notable moments. Most recently, she prefaced her performance of the track “Ain’t S**t” with a bit of a warning to the Caucasian people in the crowd. “Watch your mouth if you’re white,” the rapper and singer expressed right before she broke into the chorus, which contains the use of the N-word. Of course, this is notable given her own controversial experience with racism accusations, but nonetheless a cheeky way to address a prevailing issue with white people’s consumption of hip-hop in social settings.

Furthermore, it’s exactly the kind of aloof acknowledgement of it that we’d expect from Doja Cat. Her charisma and character on stage are quite infectious to witness, especially as her repertoire and range of performances increases. For example, promoters announced the Los Angeles native as a headliner for Portugal’s Rock In Rio Lisbon festival. With these and many more exciting shows down the line, we’re sure that she will only continue to establish herself as a dominant stage presence and as a must-see live act.

Travis Scott revealed yesterday that he would be collaborating with Audemars Piguet on a brand-new watch. Overall, this was great news for fans who have a whole lot of money to spend. Although these watches are extremely expensive, casual fans with little spending money were still eager to see the watch. In fact, last night, Scott attended a launch party in New York, where he got to show off the new bling. It is draped in Cactus Jack imagery, and for the most part, it is a novel collaboration.

However, the real party started afterward as he got to be the DJ for his very own set. Overall, this set was packed with some of his songs from Utopia. That said, he also got to surprise fans with a special performance that included the likes of Future and Metro Boomin. At one point, he even got to play the track “Cinderella” which is now called “Family Forever.” This is a leak that has been around forever, and it features none other than Future. Moreover, he even got to play a snippet of a track that contains production from Cash Cobain.

Cash Cobain has been doing big things this year. From his own solo album to placements on some big albums, the artist is an up-and-comer that you need to be on the lookout for. Travis Scott Miami Concert: Fighting Couple Hugs It Out After La Flame Puts Them On Blast

Travis Scott wasn’t able to salvage his romantic relationship with Kylie Jenner, but that doesn’t mean the Houston native is giving up on love entirely. Even if his energy is pouring into entertaining fans on his CIRCUS MAXIMUS Tour (and working on new music) now, that doesn’t mean La Flame doesn’t want romance around him. In fact, he was so averse to a couple arguing at his Miami concert on Monday (November 27) night, that he paused the show to act as a couple’s therapist so that everyone in the room could return to experiencing UTOPIA together.

As TMZ reports, Scott and his concert patrons were turning up at Kaseya Center when he suddenly had the stage lights hit a young pair sitting in the audience. The father of two told everyone that he’s been watching the partners arguing throughout the show – something that doesn’t at all align with the message his latest LP is trying to spread. Despite not having details about the argument, the Rodeo rapper told them it was likely over something small, and therefore, not to be worried about on his watch.

Travis Scott Comes to Fans’ Rescue On Tour

Instead, Scott urged the lovers (and everyone else) to have fun. The female half of the duo wasn’t having it at first, but after some persuasion, she finally turned her frown upside down. Watching them hug out their differences was enough to satisfy the 32-year-old, who promptly got back to work raging along to some of his biggest hits.

Earlier in the fall, Travis Scott surprised the audience at his Los Angeles SoFi Stadium gig by bringing out his firstborn, Stormi Webster, to soar above fans while performing “MAFIA.” We have yet to see the recording artist’s youngest, Aire, on stage, however, he did appear in recent Instagram photos with Aunt Kendall Jenner. T.I. Still Performs After Nasty King Harris Fight At The Atlanta Falcons Game

T.I. had a bit of a rough Thanksgiving weekend. He and his family attended the Atlanta Falcons game in Georgia against their NFC South rival, the New Orleans Saints. It was a nail-bitter with both middling teams fighting to the end to claim first place in the division. The Falcons went on to win, but it came with a price. The trap legend’s son, King Harris, painted himself in a negative light.

It all went down when the 19-year-old son went on Instagram Live. Harris mentioned how he used to go to his grandmother’s due to some fighting. Right after he said that his mother, Tiny, snatched the phone and gave the real reason as to why Harris went there often. Things began to escalate from there. T.I.’s son called out someone, saying, “What’s wrong with y’all? Why ya’ll doing that to me? Y’all know me, you know I stand on business. Why would you let someone play with me like that?” T.I. finally had enough and said that he was embarrassing the family.
