Moneybagg Yo Lends Denzel Washington His AP Watch For Dinner

Moneybagg Yo recently revealed that he entered another echelon of rapper/actor crossover in the A-list celebrity world. “You [ninja emoji]s Aint Having Lunch Wit Denzel , Stop It !!” he captioned an Instagram post that pictures him with none other than Denzel Washington. In fact, the Memphis MC even flexed how he lent the legendary actor his Audemars Piguet watch and included a wild pic of him wearing two watches on his wrist, one of them being the AP. “Psa : I Let Em Rock Da AP He Said Its Time To Feed Da Streets. #SPEAK,” he added. We can’t help but wonder what on Earth prompted this crossover.

Regardless of its origin, we’re glad it happened, as these are two titanic champions of focused and hard work in their respective fields. For example, Denzel Washington and Moneybagg Yo probably spoke on their business endeavors, their art, the former’s upcoming or recent roles, or the latter’s record label. On that note, actually, maybe Denzel had something to weigh in on regarding DeJ Loaf recently calling Moneybagg out for allegedly stealing her name for his Loaf Boyz label. It was a bizarre attack online, but we can’t deny that folks typically don’t appreciate the MC like they should.

As for The Equalizer star, his relationship with hip-hop is relatively well-known. He actually spoke on what it was like to meet a much younger Drake, and it would be interesting to hear what he’d have to say about Moneybagg Yo. “I met a kid in Toronto who came up and was fascinated with me because I was, like, this star,” Denzel Washington told Good Morning America almost a year ago. “He wanted to talk to me and he couldn’t believe that he met me. Well, 10 or 15 years later, he came up and he said, ‘You don’t remember when you met me?’ I said no. His name is Drake.”

Meanwhile, the CMG affiliate is also dealing with some drama outside of the musical realm thanks to cheating accusations. However, he said that he and Ari Fletcher are just fine, and things seem quite chill on that front at press time. We wonder if any or all of these topics came up in this duo’s conversation, or if that connection is beyond our comprehension. Rick Ross Exposed By Watch Expert For Rocking Fake AP

Rick Ross is certainly no stranger to flexing the fruits of his success, but according to one watch expert, not all of them are genuine. Earlier this week, Dutch YouTuber and horology pro Nico Leonard hopped online to call the performer out for one of his most dazzling timepieces, an Emerald Audemars Piguet. According to him, there are only a couple of the watches in the world, and unfortunately, Rozay’s isn’t one of them.

“Rick Ross, bro,” Leonard begins. “I just made a video about your ins*ne green AP. Unfortunately, it’s fake. Why are you flaunting fake watches? There’s only one of these watches in the world at $41M. Then there’s another one at $37M… There’s more coming in the future, but because of the complexity and the difficulty to find these stones, there’s currently only one in the world.”

He continued, revealing an image of what he says is the real thing, sent to him by the watch’s owner. “That’s the real deal, and you have a fake,” he added. Luckily for Ross, it’s far from the only pricey piece he has in his possession. Back in January, he gave fans a full tour of his expansive collection, which features countless watches that are worth millions of dollars each. One of the watches, dubbed the “Billionaire III” and crafted by Jacob The Jeweler, cost him a whopping $20M.

He says that it took over three years to assemble the intricate, exclusive piece, which features hundreds of stones. Travis Scott Drops Audemars Piguet Merch For Those Who Can’t Afford His $200K Collab

Travis Scott is one of the biggest artists in all of rap right now. Overall, he is someone who has dropped a plethora of phenomenal albums. Of course, Rodeo, Astroworld, and even Utopia are all albums that have increased his cache. If you have followed his career, then you know that he has collaborated with a ton of brands over the years. For instance, Nike, Jordan Brand, McDonald’s, Fortnite, and even Dior are all established entities he has linked up with. Now, he has added another brand to his long list.

Last week, we reported on how Scott was teaming up with none other than Audemars Piguet. The rapper came up with a Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar with all sorts of Cactus Jack branding. However, seeing as though this is AP, you can imagine the watch costs a lot of money. In fact, it is $200K which is a pretty penny. Not everyone can afford that kind of piece, so it should come as no surprise that the rapper decided to also come out with some Audemars Piguet x Cactus Jack merch.

This is Audemars Piguet, you couldn’t expect everything to be inexpensive. In terms of the color schemes here, everything is mostly brown, which is to be expected from anything Scott at this point.

Travis Scott Delivers A Plethora Of Snippets During Audemars Piguet Set: Watch

Travis Scott revealed yesterday that he would be collaborating with Audemars Piguet on a brand-new watch. Overall, this was great news for fans who have a whole lot of money to spend. Although these watches are extremely expensive, casual fans with little spending money were still eager to see the watch. In fact, last night, Scott attended a launch party in New York, where he got to show off the new bling. It is draped in Cactus Jack imagery, and for the most part, it is a novel collaboration.

However, the real party started afterward as he got to be the DJ for his very own set. Overall, this set was packed with some of his songs from Utopia. That said, he also got to surprise fans with a special performance that included the likes of Future and Metro Boomin. At one point, he even got to play the track “Cinderella” which is now called “Family Forever.” This is a leak that has been around forever, and it features none other than Future. Moreover, he even got to play a snippet of a track that contains production from Cash Cobain.

Cash Cobain has been doing big things this year. From his own solo album to placements on some big albums, the artist is an up-and-comer that you need to be on the lookout for. Overall, he has been fun to watch, and there is no doubt that this latest look will be huge for his career. Hopefully, Scott decides to drop the track soon. After all, he has been working on a lot of new music while on tour. We’re sure fans would rather get something new, sooner rather than later at this point.

Today (November 30), Travis Scott took to social media to unveil his new project with luxury watch manufacturer Audemars Piguet. The hitmaker posted a cinematic trailer for their collaboration, which has been in the making for quite some time. The collection includes a new version of their iconic Royal Oak watch, as well as t-shirts, hoodies, pajamas, hats, and more.

“IT took me and the gang 4years. And now it’s time literally Never been more excited From Houston to Switzerland,” he captioned the dramatic, fuzzy trailer. The collection is scheduled to drop tomorrow (December 1). The CEO of Audemars Piguet, François-Henry Bennahmias, also recently chatted with The Business Of Fashion about the project, noting his confidence in the collection.

“Travis could raise an army,” the Parisian fashion mogul explained, citing the size and intensity of the artist’s fanbase. “He’s got such a power. People follow him in a major way.” He continued, describing his certainty that the collection will do well. “People will go nuts when they know that AP and Travis have made merch together. It breaks pretty much every code. Is it going to be successful? We could have multiplied the quantity by at least 10 times and still been successful,” Bennahmias said. While fans are certainly looking forward to getting their hands on the new collection, it’s not the only thing they have to be excited about these days.

YK Osiris Stole $20K Audemars Piguet Watch, Celeb Jeweller Claims

Once again, 24-year-old YK Osiris has found himself at the centre of controversy. This time, he’s facing accusations of skipping out on the bill for a $20K Audemars Piguet watch. He allegedly agreed to purchase from celebrity jeweller Seth Grossman back in 2020. At the time, the two came into contact via Sean Kingston, who Grossman has a long-standing working relationship with. They met up prior to the COVID-19 shutdowns, and Osiris convinced his new pal to sell the luxury watch he was wearing at the time.

In the video below, obtained from TMZ, the Florida native tries on the piece, and happily flaunts it for the camera after Kingston finishes showing off what he’s working with. Grossman tells the outlet that he wasn’t familiar with Osiris’ music at the time but confirmed the young creative’s status by checking his YouTube page. Arrangements were made during their initial meet-up for YK’s accountant to wire the $20K, but over three years later, the jeweller says he hasn’t been paid a single dime for his Piguet.

Grossman adds that the “Worth It” hitmaker has given him plenty of excuses, and even changed his phone number multiple times. On top of that, Osiris allegedly threw Kingston under the bus in the process of evading the payment, claiming that he returned the watch to the “Fire Burning” artist. Elsewhere, the former Def Jam star said that his father stole all of his jewellery as a payment for managing Osiris. Seth is still contemplating taking legal action, especially after seeing the alleged thief flexing his new gold grill earlier this summer.

It’s been a strange few months for YK Osiris regarding headlines. First, we saw his near-cancellation after kissing Sukihana without her consent at an event, and amid the fallout from that, the R&B star let his emotions fly freely while promoting his “Dear Fans” single. Things have been relatively quiet on Osiris’ front since that hit DSPs, but now he’s obviously being painted in an unflattering light again. Lucky Daye Teams with Mark Ronson for “Too Much” in Partnership with Audemars Piguet

In conjunction with Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet, Lucky Daye announces his collaboration with Mark Ronson on his new track “Too Much.” Daye recently won a Grammy Award for Best Progressive R&B Album for his EP Table for Two, which he released in 2022. The two artists’ cooperation culminates in “Too Much,” which is documented in Audemars Piguet’s miniseries Syncing Sounds, the last episode of which is currently available on YouTube and on the brand’s website and social media channels.

The three-episode series Syncing Sounds, which launched in 2019 as part of Audemars Piguet’s music program, takes viewers inside Mark Ronson’s collaborative process as he works with Lucky Daye on the composition and development of “Too Much” in his New York City recording studio. This miniseries is the first project in the brand’s long-running collaboration with the 7-time Grammy Award-winning artist and producer — a partnership that promises many more surprises in the future.

The two musicians played “Too Much” live for the first time in front of Audemars Piguet clients and friends at an exclusive event held at the brand’s newly opened AP House in New York City on May 12.

On the track, Mark Ronson says “The song is definitely disco, but also sort of sexy and elegant and soulful. It’s all the things that I am aspiring to every time I want to create something that’s going to make people move, but that if you’re sitting listening at home, you can still get into the song and the performance. Lucky’s vocal and melody does all the work there. It’s just a sexy, sexy disco record.”

Lucky Daye adds “In terms of the lyrics, I would say the theme is pretty much a party record, where you see someone who can’t really come out of their shell and you want to convince them to just have a good time. These days, it’s not that often where you can just go outside and have the time of your life.”
