Latto and Ice Spice are currently locked in a cold war that, even if it wasn’t true to begin with, they are definitely leaning into. However, we have to admit that while these two femcees are doing a great job of being competitive and calculated with their responses and subliminal jabs, their fanbases are also carrying a lot of weight in this battle. For example, apparently some 777 fans vandalized one of Spice’s billboard trucks in their fav’s home city of Atlanta, which promoted her new single “Think U The S**t (Fart).” They crossed out the emojis, wrote “777” next to them, and also wrote “Stream Sunday Service” below them.

Furthermore this follows an instance of Latto denying that something was a shot at Ice Spice… while also taking a shot at Ice Spice. She recently tweeted “Didn’t hit tho,” which many interpreted as a dig at her Bronx rival’s decision to put those trucks in Atlanta. Later, the 25-year-old wrote on the social media platform, “This was about that old pic going viral not that lil girl thanks,” and then deleted it off Twitter. Both fanbases were quick to respond and take more shots at each other, and now all that’s left is for them to directly call each other out.

Another hometown debate surrounds the rollouts for these singles that they’re fighting over. Latto and Ice Spice’s alleged beef is ramping up more and more by the week, it seems, with supposed back-and-forth shots. The newest entry in this saga is the former’s brand-new single, “Sunday Service,” on which she references the latter’s recently released song “Think U The S**t (Fart).” “These b***hes corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do,” the 777 MC raps on the cut. “Do you rap or do you tweet? ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, b***h/ Stop all that motherf***ing yelling, h*e/ ‘Cause I ain’t buying what you selling, h*e/ Think I’m the s**t, b***h, I know it, h*e/ Jesus walked on water, I got ice boiling, though.”

Of course, that last line about ice boiling is another pretty thinly-veiled comment about Ice Spice, or at least, that’s what fans assume. There’s the obvious chance that all these shots and references are just to lean into the narrative, and that they don’t really have any real reason to beef with each other. Still, given how much femcee beef is based on loyalty these days, it’s clear that Nicki Minaj has very different opinions on both. Regardless, Latto is clearly not coming to play with her new tracks, and the most important thing about these disses is that they’ve all been on pretty good records.

“That song got my heart,” Latto remarked to the publication. “That song was just so effortless. It was really all done in one day. I wasn’t trying to make the song of the summer. However, she took some time to herself to go shopping for some Chanel and to pose in a pink outfit that accentuated all of her curves. “Oui oui,” she says in the photo dump caption, complete with a lipstick mouth emoji.

The outfit Latto had on was nothing short of eye-popping. Her curly hair was done up, allowing her bangs to fall forward.
