Doja Cat is currently killing it on her Scarlet tour across the United States, which has brought us no shortage of great, wild, and notable moments. Most recently, she prefaced her performance of the track “Ain’t S**t” with a bit of a warning to the Caucasian people in the crowd. “Watch your mouth if you’re white,” the rapper and singer expressed right before she broke into the chorus, which contains the use of the N-word. Of course, this is notable given her own controversial experience with racism accusations, but nonetheless a cheeky way to address a prevailing issue with white people’s consumption of hip-hop in social settings.

Furthermore, it’s exactly the kind of aloof acknowledgement of it that we’d expect from Doja Cat. Her charisma and character on stage are quite infectious to witness, especially as her repertoire and range of performances increases. For example, promoters announced the Los Angeles native as a headliner for Portugal’s Rock In Rio Lisbon festival. With these and many more exciting shows down the line, we’re sure that she will only continue to establish herself as a dominant stage presence and as a must-see live act.

However, it’s not like the 28-year-old doesn’t hold herself to these high standards, too. In fact, she’s always trying to improve and give the best effort she can to loyal fans. “I’m so f***in sorry,” Doja Cat wrote in an Instagram Story shortly after a show, one that apparently she disliked enough with to apologize for. “New Jersey I don’t know what the f**k that was. I’m really not happy with my energy tonight.”

It’s unclear what the reason behind this disappointment is, but fans were pretty receptive to this overall. Meanwhile, rumors swirled earlier this week that she turned down a spot on Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2. NBA YoungBoy likely sees himself as a lone wolf in the hip-hop industry and the music world at large. That’s not only due to his personality, legal troubles, and life experiences leading up to– and continuing throughout– his career, but also because of the wave of hate he often gets. Sometimes, that’s from established media personalities like Joe Budden, who recently trashed YB’s output and skill level as a whole. But his most recent rant on his Instagram Story doesn’t seem aimed at him at all, but rather a more vague and general set of opps. If you’re a fan, you know how common these threats can be.

“People trying to hurt me,” YoungBoy’s IG Story began with a lot of aggressive energy. “N***as and b***hes, bruh. If you ain’t my wife, you do not dictate my moves. She the only one that could tell me, ‘Bust your a** or let you slide!’ Man, aye, and she the only one that can put me in jail for life. She the only person that I tell everything I do to.” While his praise for his wife seems somewhat wholesome, other statements from him paint a darker picture.

Regardless, given the Baton Rouge MC’s deteriorating mental health under house arrest, these attacks are never nice or gratifying to see. Hopefully he can get himself back on track and in a positive space for a more consistent period of time, because he says his hardships are getting to him. Even though NBA YoungBoy’s career remains prolific and satisfying in the eyes of his fans, this is something that they need to prioritize. As he works on his personal struggles and animosities, this also reveals the best and worst parts of isolation that he must balance.

Meanwhile, Joe Budden responded to all the ruckus that his dislike of the 24-year-old caused with little course correction. It’s no secret that Fat Joe and 50 Cent have had their fair share of issues in the past. Eventually, they made up in 2012 following the passing of Chris Lighty. While their beef has been squashed for quite a while now, some social media users suspect that they could start feuding once again in the near future.

This is because the Terror Squad icon was recently spotted spending time with Kenneth McGriff Jr., the son of Fif’s known rival. Allegedly, McGriff’s father even conspired to kill 50 Cent in the past. “That’s Supreme Team, baby,” Fat Joe says in a clip of the two of them together. “You can’t get more official than this, more authentic than this. You be kidding yourself, man.”

Immediately, fans flocked to the comments section to warn him. “This ain’t gonna sit right with 50,” one says. “I’ve NEVER seen a dude play both sides of the fence the way he does,” another tells Fat Joe. Only time will tell whether or not another feud comes out of this, but fans would surely hate to see their newly formed friendship go to waste. Things got pretty ugly between them in the past, and it’d be unfortunate to see the two artists take steps backward.

Birdman Warns Joe Budden Amid Drake Beef: “Calm Down”

Drake dropped off his new album For All The Dogs yesterday after months of teasing. Fans were looking forward to hearing the Canadian hitmaker lay out some beef on the LP, and they don’t appear to be disappointed. He’s even got some drama brewing online lately, with none other than Joe Budden. Budden was quick to share his thoughts on the album on his podcast, and he didn’t seem to be a big fan. He didn’t go too hard on him, but nonetheless, Drake fired back.

The “First Person Shooter” performer had a lot to say about Budden’s less-than-satisfied review, and things got pretty personal. Drake told Budden he’s “failed at music,” claiming that he now has to comment on other people’s successes to make a living. He further accused Budden of being jealous of him, and “projecting his own self hate” onto Drake.

Amid the drama, Birdman took to his own IG Story to chime in, warning Budden to stop messing with Drake. “@Joebudden calm down brother,” he captioned a photo of the personality. “You not built 4this real gangsta sh*t @champagnepapi @cashmoneyofficial.” It’s no secret that Birdman and Drake have a close bond, however, it’s unclear what he meant by his message to Budden. Ice-T Issues Warning For The Next Generation Of Rappers

Ice-T saw his rap career flourish during the era of Biggie and Tupac, amongst others. Watching them get gunned down and others get strung out on drug abuse gives him enough perspective to offer a stark warning to the new rappers in the game. While he helped create the gangsta rap era, he spoke on the dangers of the profession to People Magazine at ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans over the weekend.

“I think people from my generation are really upset with what’s going on with the youngsters because every week somebody’s going to jail,” Ice-T said in an interview that also had fellow rap OG KRS-One. “People are dying of drugs, killing each other.” With recent tragic losses, such as XXXTENTACION, Nipsey Hussle, and Takeoff, drug abuse and gun violence is more rampant than ever in rap. “My generation, we lost Tupac, we lost Biggie, and we got the memo,” Ice-T continues. “Everybody calmed down. We all figured this out: We [were] rapping to get out of the streets.”

Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. were murdered back in the late 90s, and Ice-T knows how valuable life is. So he wants to make sure the people in the rap industry nowadays are protecting themselves. “[The] youngsters who are out here behaving like that, these kids are millionaires,” he told People. “So I don’t know how many young people gotta get lost, I don’t know which one might trigger that message, but I think it’s time for this generation to get a hold of itself.”

It’s been a minute since Ice-T rapped. He is one of the mainstays on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and is going on plenty of podcasts. His rap career was spectacular, spanning two decades for solo albums. He does collaboration albums every now and then, the most recent one being Uncut with Afrika Islam in 2021. He released Carnivore in 2020 with Body Count, a heavy metal band with a focus on social and political issues.

50 Cent Issues Ominous Warning After Nick Cannon Calls Him “Fat”

50 Cent and Nick Cannon have traded words before but the television host decided to reignite their feud, again. It all began when Vivica A. Fox sat down with Sherri Shepherd on her eponymous talk show. The Set It Off actress revealed that she wouldn’t be opposed to rekindling her romance with 50 Cent, nearly two decades after they briefly dated in the 2000s. Although 50 hasn’t necessarily acknowledged her comments, it became a point of conversation on the Daily Cannon podcast.

The Drumline star seemed baffled at Fox’s recent comments about 50 Cent and unloaded a slew of fat jokes on the G-Unit leader. “You can fantasize about Fif from 15 years ago. That’s a different Fif than this fat n***a that’s walking around now,” Cannon said on the podcast. His co-host Mason Moussette admitted that she would still date the rapper if she had the chance. “He is fat! He look like he got a pack of hot dogs in the back of his neck. You lookin’ at them pictures from Get Rich or Die Tryin’, now it’s get thick or die fryin’!” Cannon responded.

As we’ve seen in the past two-plus, 50 Cent thrives when tensions are running high. However, it doesn’t seem like he’s too keen on engaging in an ongoing battle with Nick Cannon. Fif appeared to let off a warning shot. Without mentioning names, he shared a post that read, “It’s never luck. It’s always God.” He captioned the post, “if your marketing campaign is say something about 50. Your not going to make it, have a nice day. The Final Lap tour.”

Although that didn’t necessarily speak directly to Cannon’s comments, Fif doesn’t seem willing to bite the bait. The two have previously engaged in a heated back-and-forth online when Cannon began releasing a series of diss tracks towards Eminem. Naturally, 50 Cent leaped to the Shady Records boss’ defense, describing Cannon as “legendary corny,” among other things. Shaquille O’Neal recently posted a TikTok where he tells other producers to watch out. “Learning production has made me realize just how talented y’all really are damn,” he writes, “but im learning a lil everyday and im coming for that throne.” The video shows him seated on a flight with his headphones on, honing his skills.

Shaq has been focusing a lot on his musical endeavors lately, dropping a new freestyle just last month. He rapped over the iconic nu-metal song “Bodies,” with the help of Lex Bratcher and Scarlip. “Lil Freestyle for y’all. Never would i have thought DJing would get me here!!” he wrote to fans, “But when it’s your time, it’s YOUR TIME. Im beyond grateful.” “Thotties Hit The Floor (MONSTER MASHUP)” is also accompanied by a music video, which features all three artists.

Shaq Is Honing His Production Skills

Scar Lip also shared in an interview that when Shaq sent her a supportive DM, she couldn’t even believe it was real. “It was like four in the morning, [and] something told me [to] check my phone. I look and see [that] Shaquille O’Neal text me. I said, ‘Is this a dream? Is this real?’ [and] I started jumping up and going crazy,” she revealed. O’Neal reportedly told the young rapper, “yo keep spitting that hard sh*t,“ adding, “It’s time for you to take over New York.”

O’Neal also recently got emotional about the late Kobe Bryant during NBA TV’s broadcast on Sunday. While discussing 23rd anniversary of the Lakers’ iconic dub against the Trail Blazers, he said, “I’m happy that happened, but every time I see my young fella, he’s not with us anymore, kinda makes me sad.” He continued, “Shout out to his mom and dad, we talk all the time, his sisters. Of course it was a happy moment, but if I could trade that moment and have him sitting here with us or be able to text him and say, ‘Kob’ can you believe this happened 23 years ago?’ that would be better for me.”

“Rich is a very charming, influential guy,” one insider reportedly stated. “But the worry is he’s using Adele to boost his Hollywood profile and it’ll all end in tears once he’s gotten bored with her.” Another allegedly claimed that no one knew about him before this relationship. “Before they went public, hardly anyone had heard of the guy.
