NBA YoungBoy Allegedly Speaks Out Against Lil Durk

NBA YoungBoy just sent out some shots on Twitter allegedly aimed at Lil Durk. Moreover, Durkio posted some messages about an upcoming single to his Instagram Story that many believe took aim at YB. In fact, he announced his next album Don’t Try This At Home will release some time in April. As such, many believe that Durk’s message of “f***ing up” someone’s release date might refer to the Louisiana rapper. However, most people interpreted as a shot to Quando Rondo’s upcoming release, who’s a close collaborator of YoungBoy’s.

Still, the Top rapper’s words seemed particularly pointed at The Voice. “Kiss my a** b***h see me in the streets,” he wrote on Thursday (March 2). “Old a** think he slick stop watching me fanned out a** n***a.” While their beef is highly publicized and well-documented, social media antics often fall victim to a lot of speculation and misinformation. As such, take this news with a grain of salt, as Durk’s Stories are no longer up on his page. Having said that, that feud is a context through which you could interpret pretty much anything the two rappers say. You might even go so far as to say that it’s as important for promotion and buzz as any media partnership or promo material.

NBA YoungBoy Seemingly Fires At Lil Durk

Nevertheless, YB hinted at turning over a new leaf recently. During a highly rare Billboard interview, the Baton Rouge MC detailed his changing perspective on his often violent lyrics. “I’m at a point now in my life where I just know hurting people is not the way, and I feel very manipulated, even at this moment,” he expressed. “I was set on being the greatest at what I did and what I spoke about. Man, I was flooded with millions of dollars from the time I was 16 all the way to this point, and I woke up one morning like, ‘Damn. They got me. They made me do their dirty work.’ Man, look at the s**t I put in these people’s ears.”

Meanwhile, not all hope is lost for those who’d love to see YB and Durk on a song together. After all, the former seemingly squashed his beef with Kodak Black via a FaceTime call. With his new reflections on his career and opening himself up to more vulnerable conversations, maybe we’ll see the YouTube views kingpin evolve into something greater. Until then and afterwards, stay up to date on HNHH for the latest on YoungBoy.

Latto & Doechii Reportedly Beef Backstage At Billboard Women In Music

Two dominant forces in music right now seem to have gotten in some beef at the Billboard Women In Music awards ceremony. Moreover, Doechii and Latto reportedly exchanged words backstage after Doechii mentioned Nicki Minaj in her speech, who Latto has beef with. At least, that’s how many interpreted the occurrence. Furthermore, Doechii also performed at the event, treating fans with a medley of her tracks “Persuasive” and “Crazy.” Many fell absolutely in love with the performance and gave her flowers on social media. Also, she received the Rising Star award at Wednesday’s (March 1) L.A. event, and her speech might’ve prompted some anger from the 777 rapper.

“Girl, I done danced my shoe off,” the TDE rapper said during her speech after her mother presented her with the award. In addition, she acknowledged the other Rising Star recipients that came before her like Lady Gaga, Janelle Monáe, and of course Nicki Minaj. However, she hinted at her new direction and focus in a Billboard interview ahead of the show. “By year five I want to be at my peak,” she expressed. “I want to be in my Sasha Fierce era, the top of my game with still a long way to go — but I want to reach my prime and never leave it. It’s my pop era. Usually I’m alone [in the studio], but these days I’ve been inviting people in.. So my vibe is kind of changing; it’s a lot of energy. It feels like a party.”

Doechii Performs At Billboard Before Latto Beef

Meanwhile, Latto apparently made fun of that acceptance speech by mentioning other people who won her award as well. While it’s unclear who started off aggressively, things quickly escalated from there according to insider reports. Billboard allegedly asked Latto and her team to leave the premises. As such, many believe that she made the initial approach out of anger at the speech. Still, others maintain that the Rising Star was about to “crack” the “Big Energy” artist for her mockery, so it’s impossible to say for sure. Then, Doechii shared a Live of her singing along to “Barbie Tingz” by Nicki, seemingly leaving a message for Latto at the end. However, many are saying these reports are fake, especially given that Doechii actually posted a video of her cheering Latto on to her Story. Maybe that’s a diss, but one thing’s for sure: the situation’s quite murky.

Of course, if true, it’s incredibly unfortunate to see two female MCs allegedly beef at an event celebrating women in music. Also, it goes contrary to the message of female empowerment and support that Latto recently espoused. This isn’t her only bone to pick at the moment, as rapper VVSNCE also called her out for shade. However, Latto denied any beef on Twitter recently, tweeting “Y’all arms not sore yet from all that REACHING?????????!!!” Also, she included a video of her praising Doechii and an explanation of her speech. With that in mind, let’s hope that these are healable wounds and that misunderstandings become opportunities for growth. However you may feel, check out the two’s speeches and responses down below. Let us know your take in the comments and stick around on HNHH for the latest on Latto and Doechii.

Kylie Jenner Loses 1M Instagram Followers Due To Selena Gomez Drama: Report

In our modern digital age, Instagram followers are as good as dollars. For those lucky enough to be born with beauty, making money on social media has become a viable career option, making it an incredibly competitive market. For some time, the most followed woman on the platform has been Kylie Jenner, who’s spent nearly her entire life in the spotlight. Recently, however, she was surpassed by Disney channel alum Selena Gomez, seemingly leading to some drama between the two.

After the Rare Beauty founder surpassed the reality star, internet sleuths kept an eagle eye out for a reaction from Jenner. After Gomez posted about accidentally over laminating her eyebrows online, some detectives thought they found it in the form of the mother of two showing off her own brows on her Story. The gossip began circulating rapidly online. As a result, accusations from fans became so intense that both women shut down the accusations.

Did Kylie Shade Selena?

On TikTok, Jenner responded to a creator reporting on the alleged feud. “This is reaching,” she wrote earlier this month. “No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! [You] guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.” Gomez got wind of her alleged enemies’ comments and also chimed in. “Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”

Despite their best efforts to destroy the drama, internet trolls are continuing to seek out signs of trouble. A few days ago, many of them noted that the “Lose You To Love Me” songstress has been absent from some apps since February 22. In wake of all the hateful energy brooding around her and Jenner, Gomez told fans she had plans to take a few days off from social media to recoup.

As DailyMail notes, it was hitting the 381M follower mark on IG that pushed the actress past her fellow makeup mogul. Jenner previously had 380M but has since dropped to 379M in the days following her “shady” post. Gomez, on the other hand, has continued to steadily grow and now has 389M followers cheering her on. Yara Shahidi As Tinkerbell In “Peter Pan & Wendy” Trailer Has Racist Twitter Users Fuming

For years now, Disney has been reimagining animated childhood classic films into live-action stories starring some of our favourite actors. It all began in 2010 with Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and since then we’ve seen other tales like Cinderella, Dumbo, and The Lion King brought to life. More recently, we’ve seen Cruella and Pinocchio, and in the coming months, both Peter Pan & Wendy and The Little Mermaid will be hitting theatres.

To the surprise of many producers made the creative decision to cast Black women in roles traditionally characterized by white features. Halle Bailey was cast as Ariel to take us under the sea this May, and Yara Shahidi was tapped to bring Tinkerbell to life in the upcoming magical movie. On Tuesday (February) 28, Disney finally dropped off the trailer, giving audiences their first look at the 23-year-old in character.

Disney’s Magical Peter Pan & Wendy Trailer is Here

Due out at the end of April, the project follows a free-spirited Peter Pan as he whisks away his new friend Wendy to his home of Neverland. While there, the young girl faces no fears of growing up, much like her unique, green-outfitted companion. Much like in the animated original, we’ll see adventures with mermaids, pirates, and fairies along their journey.

As Variety notes, Peter Pan & Wendy was first teased at the D23 Expo last September. It was directed by David Lowery, and sees Alexander Molony and Ever Anderton in the leading titular roles. Fans are also excited to see Jude Law’s performance as he brings the villainous Captain Hook to life. What the internet seems to be debating about, though, is Shahidi’s casting.

“So instead of giving POC their own movies or making new movies with POC characters, they decided to just make white characters Black for some reason?” one Twitter user asked earlier today, pointing out that The Princess and the Frog is the only Disney project with a royal Black lead. “Who’s rooting for Paris Hilton to play Pocahontas? Come on guys,” someone else joked.

While the hate is obviously running rampant, there are still plenty coming to Shahidi’s defense. “‘Tinkerbell isn’t black’ and fairies aren’t fucking real so now what?” one of them expertly shut down the online trolls. Janet Jackson’s Performances Slammed By Nephew For “Degrading & Objectifying” Women

When you’re in a family as big as Janet Jackson is, there’s bound to be drama from time to time. The most recent tidbit of gossip to catch the eye of bloggers comes from TJ Jackson’s Twitter page, where he markedly shared his thoughts on his aunt’s past performances. His comments came in response to another user who shared a salacious video of the R&B vocalist grinding on a man and feeling him up as the audience watched on.

“I never liked when she did this in concerts either” he explained, proving that he’s not hypocritical for calling out Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion over their controversial “WAP” song in other tweets. “I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art… It degrades and [objectifies] women in a way that’s not healthy,” he went on to say. Afterward, he confirmed that he has a preference for the “That’s The Way Love Goes” version of Janet.

Jackson Family Drama

TJ’s comments didn’t take long to earn him dozens of angry and confused replies, many of which he gave the time of day to. When asked by a follower what his thoughts would be on a similar performance from a male, he explained, “It’s unfair, but men aren’t as objectified as women. Nevertheless, to me, it diminishes it and leads to other stereotypes.” The way the singer sees it, “vulgarity is not art,” rather, it’s used to create shock and awe.

“[It] can lead to perceptions, and even worse, role models that don’t help our advancement,” his post concluded. Despite those continuing to come at him, the 44-year-old made it clear in several well-written tweets that his stance is what it is, but he still has love for his aunt. Elsewhere in the debate, others tried to call out TJ for trashing Janet when the “Rhythm Nation” artist‘s brother was known as something of a sex symbol during his prime.

TJ Defends His Late Uncle, Michael

“So when Michael grabbed his crotch and even got his video banned for vulgarity, did that diminish his art?” one person pressed TJ. “[Because] you could argue he, at times, was more vulgar than Janet,” they added. Not long after, MJ’s nephew came to his late uncle’s defense. “His videos never objectified women,” the father of four pointed out.

He then wrote, “That’s my issue. I can’t understand why you would be okay with that. I’m trying to teach my daughters to be queens, not hoes.” Do you think that Janet Jackson’s past performances were too sexy? Sound off in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Elon Musk Thinks U.S. Media Is Racist “Against Whites & Asians”

Since taking over as Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk’s posts on the social media platform have been undeniably controversial. Ever the advocate for free speech, the South African engineer’s latest scandal finds him coming to the aid of a famous cartoonist who’s become known as a racist. As Salon reports, Scott Adams, the creator of the Dilbert comic strip, has been dropped by hundreds of newspapers across the nation for making damaging comments about the Black community in a now-viral video.

It all began when the artist shared the latest episode of his YouTube series, Real Coffee with Scott Adams. At the time, he repeatedly shared his thoughts that Black people are part of a “racist hate group.” He appears to have fallen into the school of thought after seeing Rasmussen Reports’ poll revealing that a reported 53% of Black Americans agreed with the statement, “It’s OK to be white.”

Scott Adams Controversy

Elsewhere in his post, Adams revealed that he no longer plans to “help Black Americans” before advising other white people to “get the hell away from Black people.” In wake of the Dilbert doodler being cancelled by social media users far and wide, plenty of debate has been flying – chiefly on Twitter. “If Scott Adams wasn’t a cruel, racist, heinously insensitive asshole… it might’ve worked out differently,” actor William Baldwin wrote in a condemning post.

“This isn’t wokeness, this isn’t political correctness, this isn’t cancel culture. This is consequences. See the difference?” he pointed out to followers. Of course, the number of critics Adams has is steadily growing, but luckily for him, one of the biggest accounts on Twitter is coming to his rescue. On Sunday (February 26), Elon Musk turned the tables with a tweet suggesting that there are bigger issues to deal with as far as racism goes.

Elon Musk Chimes In

In response to a tweet from @MonitoringBias, declaring that “Adams is a racist, but not the 20 million Black people who think it’s not OK to be white,” the 51-year-old shared his opinion that, “the media is racist.” Musk went on to say, “For a *very* long time, US media was racist against non-white people, now they’re racist against whites and Asians.”

He then noted that the same thing previously happened with elite colleges and high schools around the country. “Maybe they can try not being racist,” the controversial public figure wrote, leading to further debate. What do you think of Elon Musk’s take on modern-day racism? Sound off in the comments, and check back later for more pop culture news.

Charleston White Trolls T.I.’s Paperwork Party In Atlanta

YouTube personality Charleston White has made quite a name for himself and his unapologetic ways this past year. His brief bout with Soulja Boy made headlines in July 2022 after he allegedly maced Soulja’s 12-person team. The mace came back out last Friday, apparently, during Charleston’s latest visit to Atlanta. White pulled up to T.I.’s paperwork party prepared to troll after comments he made toward’s his son, 18-year-old King.

According to info from the TikTok clip, Charleston White was in town for his own event when he passed T.I.’s new Trap City Cafe. White and his friends can be heard taunting the rapper from their car as they pass. After spotting T.I. and his luxury car parked outside, a woman in the vehicle asked if she should call his attention. “If you want to… You’re ready to fight?” White asks her amidst their laughter. “S**t, I got my mace.” Later, he goes on to fake-praise the rapper for capitalizing off his ongoing snitching rumors, nicknaming him “Tippy” in the process.

Charleston White Stops By T.I.’s Trap City Cafe For Laughs

Soon after, Charleston makes note of the droves of people lined up outside of T.I’s eatery and his adjacent Trap Music Museum. “That might hurt Boosie,” White says in regard to their current beef. The two southern legends were scheduled to release a collab album, which Boosie shelved after allegations that T.I. put a gun charge on his late cousin. The party he held Friday was his second attempt at maintaining his innocence. The King had recently shown proof of the false claims on Instagram after Boosie called him a rat during an interview with VladTV.

In light of this, Charleston White got thrown into T.I.’s line of fire after sparring with his son online. King called White a “b***h boy” and threatened violence toward the social commentator. In response, Charleston says King should be put in jail for threatening “a senior citizen.” T.I. almost immediately chimed in, resulting in a phone call between the two that didn’t go smoothly. “F*** you and that ugly a** 18-year old son of yours,” he told social media after their chat. He continued to show no fear toward Tip in a later interview with Dede McGuire. White tells the radio host “He ain’t never been to jail for killing nobody. I’m scared of ni**as that done killed people.”

Pink Claims Christina Aguilera Wanted To Fight On “Lady Marmalade” Shoot

Over 20 years have passed since Pink and Christina Aguilera released their pop-hit “Lady Marmalade,” but the beef continues to stew. In a recent interview on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, the 43-year-old dished out on drama that ensued on the set of the music video shoot. “Lady Marmalade,” which was a part of the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, also featured Lil’ Kim and Mya. The 2001 track allegedly deepened a feud between the two popstars, which continues to unravel today.

In the interview, Wallace opened up the dialogue regarding Pink’s relationship with Xtina. Pink described the ongoing problems to be a conflict between two different personalities. “I think the shade,” she explains, “where people get it twisted with me is that if you ask me a question, I’m gonna answer it honestly. I’m going to tell you my experience of how it happened. And to me that’s not shade that’s just honesty.” The “Try” singer continued to say, “now, I should know better by now that total honesty doesn’t work in this world. People want to hear nice things, and they want you to clean it all up for them, but it’s just not my way.”

Pink Dishes Out On Christina Aguilera Feud

Pink continues to describe her experience of how the “Candyman” singer had wanted to fight on the set of “Lady Marmalade.” Allegedly, the whole ordeal commenced after Pink sat in Xtina’s chair, which provoked the star to want “to shut down the entire production.” “And I didn’t know I was sitting in her chair, Pink told Wallace, “and I’m also, I’ve been, I was homeless at 15 like, you can’t talk to me any kind of way. And so, I’ve you know, you picked the wrong one. But that’s over, it’s over.”

Although Christina’s attempt at a brawl hadn’t gone through, Pink continues to hold negative sentiments about the collaboration project. Just last week, she spoke with Buzzfeed about her disliking of the whole “Lady Marmalade” shoot. Specifically, she put the blame on “some personalities.” While Pink denies stirring the pot, she does remain certain of her version of the truth. “I’m not “shading” someone by telling it over and over and over what actually happened,” she tweeted in response to the matter. 600 Breezy Sides With Boosie Amid T.I. Beef: “If They’re Friends, He Did the Right Thing”

600 Breezy just sided with Boosie in his beef with T.I. over the latter snitching on his fallen cousin, which made Boosie pull their collab album. Moreover, Breezy’s thoughts came from an interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV in which he explained his stance. Of course, it should be noted that the Chicago rapper has his own history with the Atlanta trap pioneer. As such, his comments come with a bit of personal bias. Regardless, he had some earnest thoughts on the situation and spoke to the two MCs’ friendship before all of this.

“As a friend, I feel like people need friends like that,” 600 expressed. “And he ain’t saying that they ain’t friends no more, but you need people to tell you when you’re wrong. Or tell you how they feel about certain situations. If they friends, Boosie did the right thing. ‘Cause he didn’t get up there and be like, ‘Oh, he ain’t do nothing wrong, we still doing the album,’ this and that. He got up there and told, ‘Man, f**k that s**t, I feel like he a rat. He told, this and that, and we ain’t doing the album no more.’ You know, ‘you cool,’ but I can’t- you know what I’m saying?”

600 Breezy Speaks On T.I. & Boosie Beef

Still, Breezy acknowledged that his past issues with T.I. might color his assessment of this situation. Regardless, he spoke further on how the rapper’s past actions and convictions resulted in surprisingly little federal jail time. Even though many in the rap game sided with T.I., 600’s comments point to a more amicable interpretation of the conflict. However, it hasn’t stopped the “Live Your Life” star from continually going at Boosie after this story first blew up.

“Let a motherf***er know that the paperwork was present,” he said while calling out Boosie for not showing up to one of his shows on request to show him evidence. “I’ve been waiting on one special invited guest to show up, but he ain’t showed up yet. But he ain’t here to see my paperwork. So come on if you got something to say. I wanna see who wanna see, you hear me?” No matter your take on the situation, log back into HNHH for the latest on T.I., Boosie Badazz, and 600 Breezy.
