50 Cent Reacts To “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” Getting Renewed

Power Book III: Raising Kanan hasn’t even premiered yet but already, it’s been renewed for a second season. The series begins this week, premiering on July 18 on Starz and executive producer 50 Cent is hyping it up by getting Power fans ready for the second season.

Raising Kanan is a prequel for Power. The third book in a growing universe, Kanan focuses on a younger version of 50 Cent’s character, showing how he got involved in his Power dealings. According to 50, Raising Kanan has the potential to be an even bigger success than Power

“Season 2 is lit,” wrote the executive producer on Instagram, sharing that the series had already been renewed for a second season. “By the time you make it to episode 5 you’re gonna say Raising Kanan is better than POWER. Green Light Gang.”

Chief Keef Comes Through With “The Talk”

At only 25, Chicago drill music pioneer Chief Keef feels like a veteran in the game. Such is the extent of his influence, which has come to impact an entire generation of young artists. Now, the young OG has come through with another new single, “The Talk,” arriving complete with an intimidating video that harkens back to his roots.

Over an unsettling and urgent instrumental, Keef wastes little time in setting the tone. Lyrically, his gangland rhymes are as formidable as ever, unrelenting as he fires off extended verses. “Fuckin’ with them hoes, you gon’ get set up,” he warns. “We got fifty pipes, we brought out the best ones / It’s pigs in your farm pussy, Alabama / Baby Glock bit you like a fuckin’ bed bug.” Though he’s not always recognized for his bar-spitting, Keef doesn’t waste a moment on “The Talk,” delivering a forceful performance that should please longtime fans of the Chi-town icon.

Check out Keef’s latest now, and sound off if you’d welcome a new album from Sosa in the comments below.

G Herbo Explains Why Taina Blocked Him After Ari’s Party

Whenever you get blocked on social media, it generally means that something has gone seriously wrong in the relationship/friendship. If you haven’t set up proper communication boundaries with your partner, things may get toxic and when an argument happens, you reach for the block button. That appears to have happened between rapper G Herbo and his fiancée Taina Williams, with whom he shares his newborn son, Essex.

After G Herbo was spotted partying with his ex-girlfriend Ari Fletcher this weekend, nosy fans noticed that Taina was no longer following Herb on Instagram. She clarified that nothing serious was happening and that she had simply blocked her fiancé temporarily. During his latest interview, Herb was asked about the blocking, explaining that their issues did not stem from his presence at Ari’s party.

“Come on, man. Taina, nah, she don’t got me blocked [anymore], man,” said Herbo on Posted On The Corner. “I gotta talk to my baby, I gotta talk to both of my babies. That’s my baby and my baby that’s at home. It wasn’t an issue [that I went to Ari’s party.] She didn’t really feel a way about me going there, that’s just the narrative that people tried to create. She didn’t even block me for going there. She had blocked me for some shit I was trolling her about, me and her talking personally. She unblocked me, of course. Trust me, she didn’t really feel a way about that.”

People will surely have a close eye on G Herbo and Taina for the coming weeks because of this incident. Listen to his explanation below.

Megan Fox Describes Her Costa Rica Ayahuasca Trip With Machine Gun Kelly: ‘I Went To Hell For Eternity’

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship is full of intense experiences, and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, Fox told guest host Arsenio Hall about another one they had: Using ayahuasca deep in a Costa Rica jungle.

Fox began, “We went to Costa Rica to do ayahuasca, like, in a proper setting, with indigenous people. We were in the middle of the jungle. […] I was thinking it was like glamping or something like that, like it was gonna be some kind of five-star experience. But you get there and you really are in the middle of the jungle, and you don’t get to eat after 1 p.m. You have to walk a very far distance to get your water, you can’t shower because they’re in a drought. […] Nothing glamorous about it. It’s all a part of sort of making you vulnerable, so you sort of surrender to the experience.”

After explaining how the process began with vomit-inducing tea, Fox explained her experience, saying, “Everybody’s journey is different, [but on] the second night I went to Hell for eternity. Just knowing [it’s] eternity is torture in itself, because there’s no beginning, middle, or end. So you have a real ego death. […] It just goes straight into your soul, and it takes you to the psychological prison that you hold yourself in. So it’s your own version of Hell, and I was definitely there.”

Denzel Curry Vows To Return With A Vengeance

Denzel Curry hasn’t been entirely inactive, having delivered the Kenny Beats collaboration album Unlocked at the beginning of 2020. It has, however, been a minute since he dropped off a solo album, with the Florida-inspired Zuu being his most recent in that regard.

Given the relatively decent wait, many fans have been eager to see how Curry would plot out his return, which officially has a name: Melt My Eyez, See Your Future. Though little is known about the upcoming project, Denzel teased a personal project featuring a mix of “Producers I’ve always wanted to work with and who I worked with from the first album.” He also confirms that he drew inspiration from “a combination of what’s going on right now in the world and Akira Kurosawa films with Toshiro Mifune.”

Now, Denzel has come through with a new Instagram post, and while it doesn’t reveal much about Melt My Eyez, it goes a long way in capturing his energy ahead of its release. “I’m coming back and this time… I really won’t miss,” captions Zel, alongside a picture of himself looking focused.

It’s unclear as to what he’s referring to by “miss,” as the implication suggests that Denzel faltered on a previous release; as fans know, however, that’s certainly not the case. Still, it’s comforting to see him feeling confident about his forthcoming album, which has all the potential to be Denzel’s finest body of work thus far. And given how strong TA1300 and ZUU both are, that’s no easy feat.

Stay tuned for more news on Denzel Curry’s upcoming Melt My Eyez, See Your Future album as it surfaces.

Quavo Nearly Hits A Home Run During MLB All-Star Celebrity Game

Quavo is technically skilled in the studio, but he’s also one of the most athletic recording artists around. Many of us have already seen his high-school football highlights, and the Migos rapper has also shown off his prowess on the basketball court too. Did you know that he’s also a certified slugger on the diamond though?

On Monday night, Quavo participated in the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game with DK Metcalf, Kevin James, J.I.D., and others. The rapper has been praised for his skills in baseball, proving that he’s an all-around athletic threat in any sport. When it came time for him to hit the batter’s circle, Quavo ended up nearly giving his team some points when he almost hit the ball out of the park, narrowly missing a home run.

It’s clear that whichever path Quavo chose in life, he was going to succeed. Once he puts his mind to something, he completes the task — be it with music, basketball, football, baseball, and probably other sports. We’re glad that Quavo chose rap though.

Watch the superstar nearly hit a home run below and let us know if you think Quavo would have been an MLB star in an alternate universe.
