Travis Scott Brings A Twisted Tale About Two Loves To Life In Visuals For “I KNOW ?”

Travis Scott’s explorative fourth studio album UTOPIA was bound to be a major success when it dropped. It has become just that. Everything from the rich soundscapes, standout features, and sales numbers, to the theatrical tour, Scott made sure to give the fans what they had been yearning for. Another draw of the record is the performances by La Flame himself. There are a lot of great ones to choose from, but “I KNOW ?” is arguably the best of the bunch.

The Houston, Texas multi-hyphenate brought a mysterious and alluring quality to the track. From the hypnotic and eerie piano instrumental, to the storytelling, along with the melodic mastery, there is nothing to nitpick. Scott details his druggy utopia that he feels safe in but also acknowledges how twisted it is. On top of that, there is a theme of betrayal on his part. He is entangled with two women at once.

Travis illustrates that in the visuals that have just dropped moments ago. Directed by himself and Dave Meyers, the superstar rapper plays out scenes with supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and Anok Yai. The latter appears to be who is “faithfully” committed to, and Emily is the one whom Scott is having an affair with. There are some simple but effective shots, especially when he and Emily’s faces mesh together. The story comes full circle at the end when Travis drives back to his house and the shots go back and forth between Anok and Emily as to who he is living with. It adds nicely to the hallucinogenic feelings he is dealing with.

Wiz Khalifa Responds To Viral Smoke Video

Wiz Khalifa has been in the headlines for a pair of attention-grabbing videos recently. The first came earlier this month when he shared a workout video that left very little to the imagination. The video made the rounds for a few weeks and a handful of celebs gave their takes on it. But right as that story started to fade a new video dropped that got people talking all over again. This time it was a video somebody else filmed of Wiz exhaling smoke directly into one of his friends’ face.

The clip first dropped earlier this week and fans reacted the way you’d expect them to. He was roasted online by fans calling his behavior a variety of homophobic insults. Unsurprisingly though, Wiz himself doesn’t seem bothered by much of the backlash. In a new video he shared to social media he brushes off the discussion sparked by the video. He basically lays out how much of a non-story it actually is and how unbothered he is by the whole thing. In the comments fans mostly come to Wiz Khalifa’s defense. “People that think this is gay are the same people afraid to eat a hot dog or banana in public,” the top comment on the post reads. It wasn’t the only comment making fun of sensitive fans. “If u know wiz he been doing that go watch his old day to Day” and “YEAH IF DUDES ARE CALLING THIS G@Y THEY EITHER DON’T SMOKE OR THEY LYING…THIS AIN’T NOTHING BUT A SHOTGUN PERIODT” two other comments read.

Gunna And Turbo Recruit Some Classic Music Video Starlets For New “Bachelor” Visuals

Back in November, Gunna and one of his frequent collaborators Turbo teamed up for a new song called “Bachelor.” The track has been pretty successful in the months since racking up more than 13 million streams. It’s the second time the rapper has lent a verse to an official Turbo song following “QUARANTINE CLEAN” which also featured Young Thug. Those streaming numbers are about to get a significant uptick following the release of the song’s new music video.

The visuals for “Bachelor” were teased ahead of time as a major event and they didn’t disappoint. For the video there are some typical shots of Turbo playing the piano and Gunna delivering his lines in fittingly luxurious imagery. But it’s the other stars of the video that are making waves. They recruited an all-star cast of video vixens who stared in some of the most iconic rap videos of the 2000’s to appear in the new video. Headliners include Eboni Jackson, Tammy Torres, KD Aubert, and more. Collectively the girls have appeared in music videos for Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Drake, Fabolous, 50 Cent, and many more high-profile rap acts. Check out the ornately decorated video below.

Gunna fans are expecting some new music from the rapper this year. That’s because he responded to a post made by Spotify’s Rap Caviar playlist asking who fans wanted to drop new music this year. He didn’t reveal much in his response but it still got fans hyped for whatever he’s planning.

He followed that vague announcement up with a surprising tease. When discussing his next album Gunna said he wanted to focus on “substance.” He also claimed that he wanted to explore his afrobeats side after a performance in the style last year garnered a bunch of positive attention from fans. Lil Wayne’s Kids Meet Queen Latifah While Sitting Courtside: Watch

Lil Wayne has been among the top-performing artists in rap for decades, and throughout that time he’s curated all kinds of friendships. As a Libra, it makes sense that his social circle is wide-spanning, and the “Lollipop” rapper rarely involves himself in beef. Instead, he likes to pour energy into expanding his massive discography, supporting the up-and-coming Young Money artists, and spending time with his children. Most recently, Weezy brought a few of his sons to sit courtside while the Lakers were playing. Earlier this month it was Kameron and Reginae Carter supporting the team from their coveted seats, but earlier this week he brought out 15-year-old Dwayne and 13-year-old Neal to join him.

Having a famous father comes with plenty of perks (such as frequent courtside seats), including meeting his array of friends. While sitting with Wayne, his teenage boys were lucky enough to cross paths with Queen Latifah, who confidently shook both of their hands. The Hairspray actress looked comfortable but classy in her black sweatsuit, slicked-back bun, and large hoop earrings. The Carter family was looking fresh too, clearly taking after Wayne’s bold style already.

As the video is circulating online, some are calling out Neal and Dwayne for not standing up to address Latifah. “My kids would have stood up for the Queen,” one user quipped under @HipHopDX’s post. “Them kids don’t even know how historic of a hand they were shaking, smh,” another chimed in, suggesting that Weezy’s kids are lacking in their hip-hop history knowledge.

Even if Lil Wayne’s sons are ignorant of Queen Latifah’s legacy, as social media seems to suspect, she’s still been getting plenty of flowers as of late. In 2023 she became the first-ever femcee to be honoured by the Kennedy Center, at which time Missy Elliott and Rapsody headlined her tribute show. Danny Brown Drops New Stop-Motion Animated Video For “Y.B.P”

Danny Brown has a long history of incredibly creative music videos. For his Atrocity Exhibition standout “Ain’t It Funny” he recruited Jonah Hill to direct a surreal video stylized to look like a fake sitcom. In the video for his song “Best Life,” he follows the lives of various different people through a literal fish-eye lens. But in the third video from his new album Quaranta, he may have delivered one of his strangest outings yet.

Earlier today he unleashed the new video for his song “Y.B.P” featuring Bruiser Wolf. The video is directed by Edem Wornoo & William Child and deploys unique-looking stop-motion animation. In the video itself, stop-motion versions of Danny and Wolf rap their lines while the story of an unpredictable robbery unfolds around them. The video escalates in intensity concluding on a wild police chase that ends in a car accident. Danny Brown Gets Animated In New Music Video

Later this year, Danny Brown is taking off on tour in support of his new album. He will be headed across North America in March and April playing 24 shows on the Quaranta tour. It was the second album he released last year following Scaring The Hoes back in March. Earlier this week, sources close to them alleged that Saweetie and her ex are going their separate ways. Both reportedly feel friendship is the right choice for them as they continue to focus on their respective work obligations. Interstingly, internet sleuths caught YG in the comments of his former lover, Kehlani’s recent gym photo, immediately starting rumours of his desire to spin the block with her. The Breakfast Club is one of the best-known pop culture radio shows on the air right now, but ever since Angela Yee walked away from the program, listeners are eager to find out who her replacement will be. Jess Hilarious is just one of the media personalities to have stepped in for the Lip Service host in late 2023, and before the year was up, there was even talk of her taking on a full-time role alongside DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God.

Interestingly, Hilarious hasn’t been back on the air since sharing the news, leaving us befuddled as to what’s next for the TBC crew. Just a few days ago, TMZ caught up with Tha God to ask him some questions, though it seems he’s just as lost as everyone else. “Huh?” the Brilliant Idiots host responded as the outlet pressed him for updates. “Jess? I don’t know where Jess is!” he insisted, before plugging her iHeartRadio podcast and the stand-up comedy she’s still doing. “I guess the better question is, where’s our third host?” a female voice behind the camera inquired.

“That’s a really great question, I would love to know the answer to that. I mean, I just came from downstairs. It was just me and Envy doing the show again. Rick Ross Hilariously Responds To Fan Throwing Money At Him

But on his way across the stage he gets surprised by a fan who throws a stack of cash in his direction like he’s a stripper.

At first Ross hesitates, probably pretty surprised at what happened. But ultimately he has a hilarious reaction to the whole situation when he decided to give the fan a taste of their own medicine. He pulls some cash from the stack in his hand and throws a handful of bills directly into his face from extremely close range. The encounter looks at first like one of many fight videos that have made the rounds online over the years. Saucy Santana RCA Records Rumours Go Without Answers As He Previews New Music: Watch

Since, he’s gone on to release his hit single, “Booty” featuring Latto, “MATERIAL GWORRLLLLLLLL!” with Madonna, “Whole Family” alongside Flo Milli, and most recently, “Walk It Like I Talk It” to close out 2023. Other solo efforts to come from the 30-year-old last year include “Meet Me in Da Skreets” and “1-800-Bad-Bxtch,” though we haven’t heard a full-length project from him since 2021’s Keep It Playa featuring Rubi Rose, Kaliii, the City Girls, and BeatKing.

Earlier this week, rumours began circulating online that Santana and his label have parted ways. No formal announcement came from either party. However, internet sleuths noticed that the TikTok star is no longer listed on RCA’s website. “No matches for your search. Run it back,” a screenshot shared by @MobzWorld on Twitter/X shows the page saying. Instead of addressing the gossip, the “Walk Em Like A Dog” artist is showing what he’s got up his sleeve next.
