“Standing On Business”: King Harris Wants Credit For Popularizing Phrase After Druski Uses It In Song Title

Druski is usually one to keep the internet cracking up, but this week, he’s got King Harris deep in his feelings. After seeing a promotional post casting extras for the comedian’s “Standin on Bihness” music video, T.I.’s son was compelled to go Live on Instagram and get a few things off his chest. While he’s not necessarily asserting himself as the first one to ever use the phrase, Harris does want credit for helping it blow up in the mainstream amid a nasty spat with his parents in late 2023.

“It’s time to stand on business. I ain’t create it, but I’m the one that got everybody saying it,” he ranted to viewers earlier this week. “I ain’t create it. I’d be a liar if I said I created it. That s**t’s been on years and years,” Harris further admitted. However, he did point out that athletes and other public figures didn’t use it as frequently until after his family’s viral feud. “When you ask who got the news saying it, who got ESPN saying it, who got football players saying it, who got kids saying it, who got everybody saying it, it’s me.”

Before Druski’s upcoming release helps to popularize “standing on business” even more, Harris simply wants to ensure that he gets credit where credit is due. So far, the internet seems divided on whether the 19-year-old has a point, but he definitely sounds confident in himself.

Druski’s successful run in 2023 looks to be following him into the new year as he films his “Standin On Bihness” video. Back in December, he landed beside names like Ice Spice and Latto on Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 list, and only time will tell what he’s got in store next. Before he turned himself in to the authorities, the internet saw non-stop feuding between the Cr*zy In Love co-stars. Unsurprisingly, the California native’s other baby mama, Jaidyn Alexis, is also a part of the mess. With Blue expecting to spend a year in the slammer, his MILF Music signee is keeping herself busy with a woman. On the other hand, Rock has been going above and beyond to prove her loyalty to her “Lit” collaborator, even getting a massive face tattoo dedicated to him after previously removing another.

The Baltimore native lost upwards of 200K followers on Instagram after showing off her bold new ink. Other responses have been pouring in online, including one from Rick Ross’ ex, Tia Kemp, who wants to see Rock focusing more on motherhood and less on reconciling a toxic relationship. “I thought I liked you when you had that little big face baby, looking like Charles Barkley,” she began ranting on TikTok Live recently. “Chrisean, you had two years to run around and beat up everybody, baby.”

“Rocky, go turn to a pebble off ‘The Flinstones,’ take Mr. Purpleface with you, and get baby over to a daycare or something,” Kemp suggested. “So he can learn how to crawl. We tryna see milestones! What are you doing? We wanna see if he crawling, ‘cuz he should be holding a bottle by now,” she further asserted.

For the most part, Chrisean Rock has refused to respond to the internet’s questions about her infant son’s health. Some are certain Junior suffers from Cri Du Chat syndrome, a genetic condition that wouldn’t have been caused by any irresponsible behaviour during pregnancy. Elsewhere, others argue that the 23-year-old was reckless while carrying her first child, potentially resulting in FAS or Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Not only did he admit to urging the new co-host of The Breakfast Club to get more going on in her professional life, but he was also quite confident in calling the Baltimore native out for not always being honest with others. “I text Jess the other day, I said, ‘Jess, man,’ I got kinda petty. I said, ‘You gotta get more going on in your career so they can stop bringing up my name,” Wayne told Sharpe in their interview.

While the host listened as intently as ever to everything his guest had to say, that’s not stopping him from praising Hilarious’ booty. In the video below, the former NFL icons congratulate the Wild ‘N Out entertainer on accepting her new role alongside Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. “Jess is funny though,” Ochocinco praised the rising star. “Yea,” Sharpe agreed. “Her body ain’t no laughing matter tho. I ain’t know she was like that!” he continued, eliciting some shock from his Nightcap co-star.

Kai Cenat & 21 Savage Stream: Celina Powell Posts BTS Video As Men Entertain Viewers

Since Kai Cenat’s streaming career began, he’s been creating content with several of our favourite rappers. Last year, he and Offset broke the internet with their hilarious sleepover antics. Now, the young creator brought 21 Savage on his internet show following the release of american dream, and neither party left us disappointed. As always, Cenat’s energy was high as he and the “a lot” hitmaker entertained viewers while playing games and telling stories.

At one point, Travis Scott called in to place a hefty bet on Savage beating his co-host. When the Atlanta-based recording artist did come out on top, Cenat destroyed his streaming setup out of sheer frustration from losing Madden and $300K. Of course, not everything happening at the streamer’s house was on camera. We now know that Celina Powell was hanging out behind the scenes with Kai and Savage.

Earlier this week, the controversial influencer posted a clip on her Instagram Story, recording the two men in front of their computer set-up. She didn’t write anything on the brief clip, which is now making rounds on Hollywood Unlocked, besides two small white heart emojis. It’s unclear whether she was hanging out with Cenat or Savage, but because of the latter’s rumoured lowkey relationship with Latto, some are speculating she could be the former’s date.

Celina Powell might manage to entice many of the men of hip-hop into taking a spin with her, but most of them seem to regret it in the long run. Sexyy Red Shows How She Treats Thirsty Men In Hilarious New Skit

Sexyy Red is no stranger to being a major presence online. She was one of the most talked about artists in all of music in 2023. Fans online debated both the merits of her music and many of the real life antics she went through. She’s currently in the midst of a pregnancy the she first revealed to the public in a photoshoot alongside SZA last year. Earlier this month she shared pictures from her baby shower. Like much of what she does it was a pretty NSFW affair.

Now she’s taken to Twitter once again to flex her acting skills. Calling it acting may be a bit of a stretch, but she does play a role in a sketch set to one of her own songs. “This how you gotta do ah thirsty ngga” she captions the video of the skit. In the clip itself she responds with increasing physical violence upon finding a man repeatedly engaging in thirsty behavior. It escalates from a slap to a punch to a full on chokehold throughout the clip. Sexyy Red Gets Violent In New Comedy Skit

Sexyy Red was one of the biggest breakout stars of 2023. She collaborated with a number of high-profile artists. She released songs with Drake, SZA, Lil Durk, DaBaby, Nicki Minaj, Chief Keef, Latto, Summer Walker, and many more. While that volume of releases may slow down as she gives birth to her baby, Red probably isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Earlier this month Sexyy Red released a new version of her son “Bow Bow Bow.” The remix featured a verse from Chrisean Rock who used the opportunity to take shots at Blueface. Though his past hasn’t been perfect, in recent years, the nepo baby has put in serious work on changing his life for the better. His Instagram profile lately has been relatively quiet, though he did end 2023 with a wholesome picture posing with pops. Aside from that, Hanks is also working on music again, covering an R&B classic from Atlanta’s own Summer Walker on Tuesday (January 23).

“Little Summer in the winter, ‘Session 32,’” the entertainer wrote in his caption. He made the song his own by plucking on his guitar while singing. The pink sunset behind him helped set the smooth vibe he was obviously going for. In the comments, friends and fans are encouraging him to keep experimenting with his sound. “I thought this was Frank Ocean,” one user joked. “[I know] Chet’s a real bass player ‘cuz when tf was the last time he changed them strings ,” another person laughed.

Travis Scott Brings A Twisted Tale About Two Loves To Life In Visuals For “I KNOW ?”

Travis Scott’s explorative fourth studio album UTOPIA was bound to be a major success when it dropped. It has become just that. Everything from the rich soundscapes, standout features, and sales numbers, to the theatrical tour, Scott made sure to give the fans what they had been yearning for. Another draw of the record is the performances by La Flame himself. There are a lot of great ones to choose from, but “I KNOW ?” is arguably the best of the bunch.

The Houston, Texas multi-hyphenate brought a mysterious and alluring quality to the track. From the hypnotic and eerie piano instrumental, to the storytelling, along with the melodic mastery, there is nothing to nitpick. Scott details his druggy utopia that he feels safe in but also acknowledges how twisted it is. On top of that, there is a theme of betrayal on his part. He is entangled with two women at once.

Travis illustrates that in the visuals that have just dropped moments ago. Directed by himself and Dave Meyers, the superstar rapper plays out scenes with supermodels Emily Ratajkowski and Anok Yai. The latter appears to be who is “faithfully” committed to, and Emily is the one whom Scott is having an affair with. There are some simple but effective shots, especially when he and Emily’s faces mesh together. The story comes full circle at the end when Travis drives back to his house and the shots go back and forth between Anok and Emily as to who he is living with. It adds nicely to the hallucinogenic feelings he is dealing with.

Wiz Khalifa Responds To Viral Smoke Video

Wiz Khalifa has been in the headlines for a pair of attention-grabbing videos recently. The first came earlier this month when he shared a workout video that left very little to the imagination. The video made the rounds for a few weeks and a handful of celebs gave their takes on it. But right as that story started to fade a new video dropped that got people talking all over again. This time it was a video somebody else filmed of Wiz exhaling smoke directly into one of his friends’ face.

The clip first dropped earlier this week and fans reacted the way you’d expect them to. He was roasted online by fans calling his behavior a variety of homophobic insults. Unsurprisingly though, Wiz himself doesn’t seem bothered by much of the backlash. In a new video he shared to social media he brushes off the discussion sparked by the video. He basically lays out how much of a non-story it actually is and how unbothered he is by the whole thing.
