Travis Scott Performs At Miami Nightclub, Teases Remix With Kodak Black

It’s been almost five full years since Travis Scott dropped his last album, ASTROWORLD. Still, word on his next project UTOPIA remains scant and unfulfilled, and the hype around it easily makes it one of the most anticipated drops of the year. Regardless, La Flame is still popping out every now and then to give fans an update (whether from him or as secondhand information) and turn them up in the process. Moreover, he performed at the E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on Saturday night (May 6). Not only did he play a few of his biggest songs ever, but he also teased a remix of Lil Blessin’s “Likka Sto” featuring him and Kodak Black.

Of course, this is far from the first time that Travis Scott teased fans as to his next drops. At Rolling Loud Thailand, the “MAFIA” MC and Offset teased new music together to an amped crowd. Beyond that, there’s also The Alchemist’s vague response to a fan asking if he’s ever collaborated with Travis. With a simple “lips-sealed” emoji, fans think that a link-up between the legendary producer and the Houston star is on its way.

Travis Scott Parties In Miami

Despite anticipation for UTOPIA and what feel like endless teases akin to ASTROWORLD, the 32-year-old’s catalog still holds a lot of weight today. In fact, it would probably hold fans over for another five years. Recently, Travis Scott’s catalog reached an amazing streaming milestone that speaks to his impact and dominant presence in the game. Furthermore, all of his albums have racked up over 2 billion streams each, landing Scott in an elite pantheon of hip-hop streaming giants. Off of the strength of his bangers, ballads, and everything in between, even near-ten-year-old albums like Rodeo stay in rotation.

Meanwhile, it seems like this nightclub appearance went much better than the one that nabbed him an assault lawsuit. While the NYPD maintained that an active investigation into the incident is still underway, he was able to settle that claim with the alleged victim. Regardless, his rabid fanbase won’t let anything distract them from his next release. Doja Cat Has Fans Speculating On New Release With Latest Instagram Post

Doja Cat has been teasing her next album for a long time, whether seriously or jokingly. However, her latest Instagram post is the most solid confirmation fans have gotten in a while that Doja season is approaching fast. Moreover, she captioned a collection of photos with a simple clock emoji, indicating that it’s almost time for a drop. The post itself features a picture of a sleek car and two pictures of the artist in a black leather jacket amid moody lighting. Presumably, these snaps might come from an upcoming music video or promo visual of sorts. No matter the case, fans are ready for the action.

In fact, it seems like Doja Cat built up to this moment somewhat naturally over the course of the past few months. Of course, that’s due in no small part to her excellent appearance on the remix of SZA’s “Kill Bill.” After breaking out into the larger pop music world, the Los Angeles native came through with a solid rap verse amid hints that she’s returning to that style in full. Given her creative artistry and the wide range of influences she plays with, expect the unexpected from her next album.

Doja Cat Might Have Just Teased Her Next Drop On IG

Furthermore, the project is reportedly titled Hellmouth, and Doja Cat actually gave us somewhat of a release timeline recently. While addressing people hating on her latest hairstyle, she pondered quitting Twitter until her lead single drops. “Saw somebody edit hair onto my head for this look i did last night and it made me mad. So i wanted to let them know they should be making money instead,” the 27-year-old expressed on the social media platform. “Im also aware of the ramifications of the last tweet and that I’ll only be seeing edits of me with hair for the next 4 weeks so I’ll be logging off / deleting twitter till my lead comes out.”

Meanwhile, here are some more details the “Tia Tamera” MC shared online as to her next project. ““i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are,” she tweeted, “I wasnt trying to prove anything, I just enjoy making music. But I’m getting tired of hearing yall say that i can’t so I will. Pop isnt exciting to me anymore. If you wanted a teaser into what I’ve been thinking about, that’s what I’ve been on a lot. And just to make it clear, Beastie Boys is a huge inspiration to me. Beastie Boys will hit you with hard, loud and crazy rap. But they’ll also hit you with real raw 90s punk, which I love. Or smooth techno that feels sexy and sleek.” With that in mind, return to HNHH for the latest on Doja Cat.

Swizz Beatz Clarifies Jay-Z & Lil Wayne Collab On “Hip Hop 50, Vol. 2”

It’s one thing for a hyped collab to never see the light of day, but it’s a different kind of pain when it ends up happening without the bombast you expected. But to be fair, maybe that’s just people’s high expectations. Still, fans got very excited when Swizz Beatz teased a collab between Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. However, when the track “This S**t Right Here” dropped, Hov was nowhere to be found in the verses. Instead, a vocal sample of his was used for the song, which left many scratching their heads. During a recent Twitter Spaces conversation with TIDAL‘s Elliott Wilson, the legendary producer had to set the record straight on what he really meant.

Of course, “This S**t Right Here,” appeared on Swizz Beatz’s latest project, the Hip Hop 50, Vol. 2 EP. Moreover, he explained that he referred to a vocal sample he had from Jay during his tour in 2007 or 2008. “I had [that freestyle] in my files as Jay vocals,” the 44-year-old revealed. “So you didn’t have a Jay verse on that joint, you just were playing with us?” Wilson responded. “‘Cause everybody got excited, you know how the Internet is.”

Swizz Beatz Explains What He Meant When He Teased A Jay-Z & Lil Wayne Collab

“S**t, I got excited too!” Swizz Beatz exclaimed. Even if the New York legend wasn’t on it, at least Lil Wayne still spazzed. In addition, the “Uproar” producer defended himself by stating that at least it was actually Jay-Z and not an A.I.-generated voice or verse. “That’s him him, so I’m like, ‘Why can’t we say it’s him?’ It is him on the song.” Given all the buzz around artificial intelligence in music, perhaps we’ll see that defense much more often in the coming months.

Despite the disappointment for many, Vol. 2 still came packed with excellent features. Whether it was Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, Scar Lip, or Jay Electronica, everyone did their thing on the commemorative project. In fact, Jay Electron’ even sparked up some discussion by revealing that SZA apparently blocked him on social media. For now, fans will have to wait and see what a Swizz beat with Hov and Weezy would result in. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Swizz Beatz, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne.

Yeat Teases New Young Thug Collab

Yeat continues to level up and get fans excited about what’s to come, with the help of none other than Young Thug. Recently, the California-born MC took to Instagram Live to preview some new music, including a brand new track with Thugger. For those unaware, the two previously linked up on the track “Outsidë” from Yeat’s 2022 album 2 Alivë. On this new teaser, both rappers float over eerie synth pads, sharp snares and hi-hats, booming bass, and a generally trippy atmosphere complete with additional synth melodies. Whether the track will drop sooner rather than later remains to be seen, but fans can’t wait for their reunion.

Unfortunately, any new Young Thug feature will come with its fair share of sadness and frustration. The YSL leader and 13 other defendants face hefty RICO charges that have dominated headlines and music news coverage for almost a year. However, the “Check” artist showed high spirits and determination in new courtroom footage, which at least has his fans touched and hopeful that things won’t be so bad. In addition, prominent industry figures like Metro Boomin updated audiences on his well-being and continue to show their support.

Young Thug & Yeat Might Have A New Song On The Way

Regardless of how his legal ordeal will conclude, Young Thug and Yeat is a combination of two rabid fanbases and eccentric styles. As such, it’s no wonder why a new track from them would elicit a lot of excitement and anticipation. After all, the “Monëy so big” MC has audiences going crazy at pretty much every live show he does. Most recently, he brought out Lil Uzi Vert and they had a blast on stage together, speaking to their artistic and personal chemistry.

Meanwhile, Yeat’s most recent album AftërLyfe is quite the lengthy but also energizing experience, not unlike one of Young Thug’s most recent albums, So Much Fun. There’s clearly a lot of chemistry here, although it’s unclear if they recorded or worked on this before Thug’s arrest. Despite that uncertainty, the context surrounding him could never deter fans from wanting to hear more from the Atlanta rap pioneer. For more news and updates on Young Thug and Yeat, stay posted on HNHH for the latest happenings.

The Weeknd Teases “Double Fantasy” Video

The Weeknd is making sure that people are aware and excited about his upcoming single with Future, “Double Fantasy.” Moreover, he just took to Instagram to announce the song’s official music video dropping on Friday (April 21) along with the track itself. His tease involved a short clip of presumably the music video on his Instagram page, which gives fans a lot with a little. Furthermore, it features Lily Rose-Depp as the star of their upcoming TV show “The Idol” from HBO. With an accompanying album based on the show on the way from Abel as well, it’s shaping up to be quite the event.

In fact, the entire rollout for this show has been quite the rollercoaster, from beef with Rolling Stone to its provocative and controversially hedonistic subject matter. However, The Weeknd is excited to explore those themes in a compelling way, per his cover story with Interview Magazine. “What drew me to play him was just getting to pretend to be someone else,” the After Hours star said of his on-screen, cult-leader-like character. “It was a challenge, because The Weeknd, obviously, isn’t me. But I drew a lot from myself to create that character. Tedros is nothing like me… Vulnerability is key in the characters you play, no matter how evil they are. If you can find the vulnerability in them, somehow they become likable.”

The Weeknd’s Small Glimpse Into “Double Fantasy” MV

Furthermore, The Weeknd revealed this single to listeners’ ears during his appearance at Metro Boomin’s Coachella set last weekend. Also during his interview with Interview, he spoke on how his work has always carried that somewhat mysterious, controversial aura. “I’ve been judged since the beginning. My stuff’s always kind of been provocative,” Abel Tesfaye remarked. “As an artist, you have to know that you can’t please everybody. You have to accept that it comes with the job.”

In addition, he revealed some of his inspirations for “The Idol,” specifically its accompanying soundtrack and original material. “I’ve been inspired by The Wall and Purple Rain and when Bowie was doing it,” the 33-year-old stated. “But even films like Shaft, the music is literally telling the story of the film. But I want to take it to the next level. I want to challenge myself and I feel like, as a musician, I’m the best I’ve ever been.” Let us know if you’re excited for “The Idol” down below and return to HNHH for the latest on The Weeknd.

Fivio Foreign Teases New Kanye West Collab

Fivio Foreign is hinting towards his return to full solo work, and this time with a recurring but currently controversial collaboration. Moreover, the New York rapper’s recent Instagram post features him in the studio, and the teased track at the end is a collab with none other than Kanye West. If you’ve been at all online over the past few months, you know that the Chicago legend is currently facing a lot of public scrutiny and criticism for his bigoted and problematic remarks concerning Nazis, the Jewish people, and a few other antics. Despite that public backlash, it seems that Fivio still wanted to show fans what they cooked up in the studio.

Their collaborations range from Fivio Foreign tapping Ye for the dramatic drill anthem “City Of Gods” to the two’s previous Donda track “Off The Grid,” plus Fivio’s ad-libs on a couple of tracks on that album. Along those same lines, this tease is a slower-tempo drill track with some dramatic pianos and heavy bass leading the way for the 33-year-old’s verse. While time will tell whether the track ends up releasing given Kanye’s behavior, at least fans know that the two could keep up their quality collaborative streak.

Kanye West Assists Fivio Foreign In New Song Tease

Still, it does open up an interesting conversation on how Kanye’s artistry will manifest in other collaborators’ work. From what recent releases indicate, it seems that his hand in creating a track doesn’t necessarily give it the negative context his movement exists in at the moment. For example, Tyler, The Creator recently included the Ye-produced “HEAVEN TO ME” on his latest release, The Estate Sale. With time slowly providing peace of mind for many fans that were disappointed with Kanye’s downfall, maybe a more benign presence will still be felt on other artists’ material.

Back to Fivio, though, he worked hard to give fans a peek at what’s to come after he had to cancel his Rolling Loud California performance. Furthermore, he told Meek Mill that he’s dropping something in April, so maybe this is the month we see Fivio Foreign’s hard work pay off. Until that day comes, however, at least fans can wonder what this teased Kanye West collab would’ve done for the game if released. Despite the controversy around it, its release isn’t out of the question. Regardless, log back into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kanye West and Fivio Foreign.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases “The Pink Tape” World Tour

Lil Uzi Vert is apparently going on a world tour in support of their upcoming album The Pink Tape soon, or at least that’s what recently surfaced pictures on social media indicate. Moreover, this comes after they reportedly announced a North American tour back in October of last year, although such plans fell through. Still, the “Myron” hitmaker captivated audiences all over through festival slots, public event performances, and more within the last two years. With their infectious stage presence in mind, a world tour would surely bring Uzi a lot of acclaim and commercial success. However, only time will tell, as these teases haven’t come attached with dates yet.

Furthermore, the whole reason behind this new speculation regards pictures posted online of Lil Uzi Vert wearing tour merch. To elaborate, Twitter recently went ablaze over Uzi rocking a “Pink Tape World Tour” shirt design, hinting at what was to come. Hopefully, this refers to a significant expansion of their planned North American trek. Given the superstar’s visibility and popularity at the moment, it would surprise no one if they’re able to sell thousands of tickets overseas. What’s more is that The Pink Tape, according to DJ Drama, is coming very soon.

Is Lil Uzi Vert Going On A World Tour Soon?

“It’s on the way,” Drama told Justin Credible on his podcast. “The Pink Tape– him and Cannon have been super hard at work. They’re in the process of pretty much finalizing the final sequencing and tracklisting of the project but it’s pretty much done. You’ll be surprised. You’re gonna get some of [Just Wanna Rock] as well as some other pockets.” Moreover, said news is also exciting because this would be Lil Uzi vert’s first headlining tour since they and G-Eazy embarked on “The Endless Summer” tour back in 2018.

Meanwhile, producer Don Cannon recently highlighted the Philly icon’s prolific and hard-working mentality in the studio. “We working on the album and he got 680 songs [from the last] 18 months,” he expressed. “I call him the Kobe Bryant when he was saying he used to shoot jump shots after the game. That’s what he doing. He give you a hit and do five songs a day. Nobody believe me. I bring them to the studio to see.” Let us know what you’re most excited about concerning The Pink Tape‘s rollout in the comments. Also, stick around on HNHH for the latest news and updates surrounding Lil Uzi Vert.

Offset Teases New Track & Visuals On Instagram

While he’s currently embroiled in beef with his label Quality Control Music over the rights to his music and being able to release it, Offset continues to tease fans with his next album. Moreover, he just shared a song snippet with accompanying visuals on his Instagram page. In the clip, he flaunts various stylish outfits as he spits bars on his success, influence, and status in the game. Even though it’s been a rocky road for the Migos rapper, he seems committed to giving fans what he can to hold them over. Many eagerly anticipate his next project and expressed support for his rights as an artist.

Still, the situation with QCM is quite murky, dealing with issues of copyright and ownership of new material. Despite his struggles, it’s certainly not the first time Offset gave fans a peek at what’s to come. For example, he recently previewed a posthumous collaboration with his late cousin Takeoff featuring Icewear Vezzo. With that in mind, more eyes than ever are on the Georgia native’s every move, whether it’s for his legal battle or the next chapter in his career.

Offset Gets Fans Excited Again For New Album

However, all that is moot if fans aren’t excited about the new album in question. For this new teaser in particular, it seems Offset continued to push the trap formula forward with some heat. He flows with confidence and a measured pace over a slightly ethereal but bass-heavy trap instrumental. Of course, it’s by no means uncharted territory for ‘Set, but the question here is (ironically) about quality control. Amid tragedy, label disputes, and a strained relationship with Quavo, he can clearly still drop engaging trap cuts that build on his already established sound and legacy.

On the note of the QCM battle, the “54321” MC recently took to Twitter to air out his frustrations. “Never thought life be this f***ed up #LLTake. I can’t drop music also” he tweeted. “Black ppl holding black ppl back,” he wrote in another message. From what reports indicate, he and Quality Control disagree over what music the label owns, and whether they can profit from his new deal with Capitol. Hopefully that gets sorted out internally, rightfully, and in a way that doesn’t dilute his art any further. Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Offset.

Lil Durk Announces J. Cole Collab, Fans Thought It Was April Fool’s Joke

It’s the most confusing day of the year, especially if you’re one to frequent headlines and the latest news. Moreover, Lil Durk reportedly announced that he’s collaborating with J. Cole and that new music from the two will drop soon. Furthermore, the initial report seemed to come from the NFR Podcast, a popular YouTube and podcast channel that’s very active in the hip-hop media world. Of course, this is believable considering that Durkio is headlining this weekend’s Dreamville Fest, and he allegedly made the comments during a sit-down interview at the festival. However, fans took a look at the calendar and raised eyebrows. Could this be too good to be true.

Well, Luca and Anthony of NFR stood by their word, and posted a photo of the sit-down interview in question. Still, everyone in the picture is laughing, and one would think they’d just post the video clip instead of a picture. What’s more is that when a fan asked whether it’s an April Fool’s joke, they said no and just replied with the same picture. They have rapport together, and Durk also has ties to the rest of Dreamville through his JID collab.

J. Cole’s Rumored Collab Has People Skeptical On April Fool’s Day

Eventually, someone posted the clip in question, and fans could finally get excited about the collab with no qualms. Given that Cole’s praised the Chicago MC’s work before, their appreciation for one another could surely result in a huge hit. If it’s not a hit, it’ll still probably be a high-quality track, as they’re both renowned as incredible lyricists and storytellers in their own right. Interestingly, despite the flowers laid on him and the people he’s put on, he revealed he’s envious of people who lead more peaceful lives.

“You know what I’m envious of, too? To that point,” he expressed to Bob Myers. “The way that I said is valid to someone who wants to live that life, but I also think another valid way to live is, yo. I’m envious of people who don’t have a strong desire or strong vision.” While it seems like backhanded praise, he went on to explain his point with much more clarity. Regardless, check out Durk’s reveal down below and return to HNHH for the latest on Lil Durk and J. Cole… and hopefully no April Fool’s scares.

Lil Durk Confirms Collab

6ix9ine Teases New Music

After returning to Cuba this week, 6ix9ine seems to be teasing new music and could potentially drop something soon. Moreover, DJ Akademiks shared a video of the rapper seemingly in a Cuban town, surrounded by presumably locals and draped with the Cuban flag (the rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent). In the clip, he seems to be recording a music video or promo visual of sorts, as a new song plays and you can see a cameraperson film him upfront. Not only that, but this sounds like a different style to what he typically brings to the table, although not a wholly unique one for him.

Furthermore, it’s a Spanish-language cut that is much more somber, melodic, and dramatic than his usual musical fare. As such, many fans are wondering what could be next for the rapper, especially after his viral beatdown in an LA fitness bathroom in Florida. That saw the rainbow-haired MC get the most media attention in a long time, something that many believe he tries to feed off of with his public statements and music. With that in mind, many suspect that he’ll take advantage of the news to release new songs and projects, which he hasn’t done in a while.

New Music Might Be On The Way From 6ix9ine

All that being said, Hernandez has more controversies around him at the moment that could prove dangerous. In fact, they have to do a lot with Cuba, where he visited earlier this year. A lot of viral conversation ensued because of him seemingly throwing money from his apartment to huge crowds of local citizens. In addition, clips surfaced of massive conglomerations following him around the streets. Responding to this, the Cuban government temporarily shut down Internet access in the region, which itself drew much controversy. Still, many agreed that, if true, his seemingly helpful actions painted the nation in a poor light for the sake of views.

Despite these controversies, Tekashi seems committed to focusing on his private life and not letting media get in the way. Of course, he’ll take advantage of it when he can, but he won’t let it change his movement and how he decides to live. Many raised eyebrows at his decision to not bolster security after the attack on him, and it seems he’s willing to live with those choices. Regardless, check out the teased song above and return to HNHH for the latest news and updates on 6ix9ine.
