6ix9ine Didn’t Pay For His Own Bronze Statue In Cuba

Earlier this week one of the strangest stories in recent memory of rap news emerged. That came when pictures of a new bronze statue of 6ix9ine emerged from Cuba and started making the rounds online. Very little information was known about the statue and many suspected it wasn’t actually bronze and the rapper probably paid for it himself as some kind of publicity stunt. But earlier today the artist who created it took to Instagram to explain some things.

The artist responsible shared some more close-up pictures showing off the details of the statue. While many debated how much it even looked like the rapper after seeing the original pics online, it resembles him much closer once you can see the whole thing. In the caption, he reveals that the statue was paid for by a client that doesn’t appear to be 6ix9ine himself, as many fans suspected. It’s unclear how much the statue cost or why a still unknown client paid to put a statue of the rapper up in Cuba. Check out the detailed pictures of the bronze sculpture below.

6ix9ine Statue In More Detail

6ix9ine is currently still stuck in the Dominican Republic after being arrested for assault there last year. His fans made quite the scene both at the spot of his arrest and the prison when he was released. As a result of his crime he has to remain in the country for six months following his arrest. He’s about halfway through the time currently. He will wrap up his legal proceedings and likely get to go home later this year.

In December, 6ix9ine promised his fans on social media that he had new music coming soon. He claimed his new album was so close to being done that it might even still come out in 2023. While that ultimately didn’t happen fans are still hoping the project is coming as soon as he claimed. What do you think of somebody other than 6ix9ine himself paying for a statue of him to be put up in Cleveland? Let us know in the comment section below.

6ix9ine Statue Erected In Cuba

It’s been a complicated few months for 6ix9ine. The rapper was first arrested in the Dominican Republic back in October for an alleged assault on some producers working in a studio there. It caused quite a scene as fans of his showed up in bulk at both the studio where he was arrested and the jail he was eventually released from. Things got even more legally complicated for the rapper when it was ruled that he wasn’t allowed to leave the country for the next 6 months. Thankfully, he doesn’t have to spend that time in prison but the ruling does mean he isn’t going anywhere for at least a few more months.

But while he’s been occupied in the Dominican Republic, fans in Cuba found their own way to show support. Pictures are making the rounds this week of a newly made and erected statue of the rapper in what appears to be bronze. As many fans pointed out in comments of pictures of the status online, the resemblance isn’t exactly uncanny. Despite the somewhat unclear look of the statue, it sports some distinct features of the rapper like his chain and stacks of cash. Check out the picture and some fan reactions to it below.

6ix9ine’s New Statue

Last month, 6ix9ine got some good news about one of the ongoing legal matters in his life. He was originally hit with a massive payment to someone he allegedly assaulted at a club. He was originally ordered to pay a $10 million default payment after failing to show up in court. But a few weeks ago the ruling was overturned by a judge. That means he will no longer have to pay the massive $10 million original ruling.

But he isn’t off the hook entirely for the matter yet. But thankfully for him any actual judgement is likely to constitute MUCH less money. Last month, 6ix9ine also promised that he had a new album on the way in early 2024. He hasn’t revealed any more details about the project since. What do you think of the new statue of 6ix9ine put up in Cuba? Let us know in the comment section below.

Camila Cabello’s Rise From Havana To Hollywood

Only a handful of artists can boast of climbing up the ranks in the industry as quickly as Camila Cabello has. It is not an easy feat to have a successful solo career after being a part of a prominent girl group. However, Cabello has evidently done it, becoming a bonafide solo star after parting ways with Fifth Harmony. Apparently, her talent and drive have spoken for and propelled her as far as she has come.

Excitingly, despite the success she has enjoyed so far, there is still a lot more in store for the superstar. Now, she’s setting her sights on taking over Hollywood. The Cinderella actress was recently seen showing off her walk on the L’Oreal Paris Fashion Week runway, swiftly turning heads. Between the music and the glamor, Camila Cabello seems to be living a true-life fairytale.

Before The Fame

Camilla Cabello was born to a Mexican father and Cuban mother on March 3, 1997, in Havana, Cuba. At age six, she moved to Miami, Florida, with her family. Cabello came from humble beginnings, but with a talent like hers, she was soon shot in the direction of fame. She developed a love for music at a very young age, and sharply nurtured it as she grew. In 2012, at the young age of 15, she decided to take a big step that changed her life forever.

Camila Cabello & The X-Factor

Auditioning for a spot in a competition as big as The X-Factor is daunting for anybody, and even more so for a teenager. However, at 15, Cabello took on the challenge and, despite the hurdles, clearly had a destiny. Simon Cowell, the famed judge, shared with Extra that the young singer initially missed out on the chance to audition. Luckily, they crossed paths at just the right time for her dreams to come true.

“I happened to go backstage and I saw her crying, asked her why she was crying, and she said, you know, it was too late for her to audition…,” he said. Cowell eventually offered her a new audition spot, and that completely altered her life’s trajectory. However, that was not the end of her challenges as Cabello faced yet another major obstacle. Later in the competition, she was eliminated as a solo contestant on The X-Factor boot camp stage.

Once again, in a fortunate twist of fate, she was given yet another chance at success. Cabello was called back to be one of five members of a newly formed girl group. Consequently,  Fifth Harmony was born. While they placed third at the end of that season, the group achieved widespread commercial success.

Camila Cabello & Fifth Harmony

Camila Cabello, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane made up the girl group Fifth Harmony. Fresh out of The X-Factor, they signed a joint deal with Syco Music and Epic Records. In the years that followed, the group achieved significant success worldwide. While together, Fifth Harmony released three successful studio albums that included their biggest hits, “Worth It” and “Work from Home.” They are now regarded as one of the most successful girl groups of all time. While the group has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2018, Camila Cabello officially departed from Fifth Harmony in December 2016.

Becoming A Solo Star

Camila Cabello released her debut solo single, “Crying in the Club,” to moderate success in May 2017. Her breakthrough, however, came with her second single, the chart-topping smash hit “Havana.” It became the official lead single of her eponymous debut album, Camila. Her Grammy-nominated chart-topper, “Señorita,” further defined her impressive capabilities outside of Fifth Harmony. The song remains one of the Top 10 most streamed songs in Spotify history. Since then, Cabello has released two additional albums, both of which garnered generally positive reviews.

Embracing Hollywood

Camila Cabello is no stranger to the lights and cameras of film and television. The star has appeared in several movies and shows since 2014 but has mostly starred as herself. Cabello’s first major casting was in the 2021 musical film Cinderella, in which she plays the titular character. She also notably starred as a coach on the 22nd season of NBC’s The Voice—a truly full-circle moment for the superstar, as she was discovered on a similar show.

In 2023, Cabello is set to star in two upcoming movies, Rob Peace and DreamWorks’ animated musical comedy film Trolls Band Together. Maintaining a successful musical career, Camila Cabello seems to be slowly branching out into film and television, as well. She has come a long way since leaving Havana as a child. Moreover, she is still largely on the rise, all while keeping her Cuban roots alive.

6ix9ine Teases New Music

After returning to Cuba this week, 6ix9ine seems to be teasing new music and could potentially drop something soon. Moreover, DJ Akademiks shared a video of the rapper seemingly in a Cuban town, surrounded by presumably locals and draped with the Cuban flag (the rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent). In the clip, he seems to be recording a music video or promo visual of sorts, as a new song plays and you can see a cameraperson film him upfront. Not only that, but this sounds like a different style to what he typically brings to the table, although not a wholly unique one for him.

Furthermore, it’s a Spanish-language cut that is much more somber, melodic, and dramatic than his usual musical fare. As such, many fans are wondering what could be next for the rapper, especially after his viral beatdown in an LA fitness bathroom in Florida. That saw the rainbow-haired MC get the most media attention in a long time, something that many believe he tries to feed off of with his public statements and music. With that in mind, many suspect that he’ll take advantage of the news to release new songs and projects, which he hasn’t done in a while.

New Music Might Be On The Way From 6ix9ine

All that being said, Hernandez has more controversies around him at the moment that could prove dangerous. In fact, they have to do a lot with Cuba, where he visited earlier this year. A lot of viral conversation ensued because of him seemingly throwing money from his apartment to huge crowds of local citizens. In addition, clips surfaced of massive conglomerations following him around the streets. Responding to this, the Cuban government temporarily shut down Internet access in the region, which itself drew much controversy. Still, many agreed that, if true, his seemingly helpful actions painted the nation in a poor light for the sake of views.

Despite these controversies, Tekashi seems committed to focusing on his private life and not letting media get in the way. Of course, he’ll take advantage of it when he can, but he won’t let it change his movement and how he decides to live. Many raised eyebrows at his decision to not bolster security after the attack on him, and it seems he’s willing to live with those choices. Regardless, check out the teased song above and return to HNHH for the latest news and updates on 6ix9ine.

6ix9ine Resurfaces In Cuba Following Brutal Gym Beating: Report

He won’t feel safe stepping outside in the U.S. anytime soon. However, 6ix9ine seems to be having the time of his life in Cuba following his recent gym assault. Last week, the New Yorker was the victim of a brutal beatdown while visiting an L.A. Fitness location without his security team. At the time he was taken to hospital after sustaining injuries to his face. Sources close to him revealed that he wasn’t planning on leaving his home in Florida or switching workout facilities anytime soon.

According to XXL Mag, the embattled artist may have changed his mind. A video of 6ix9ine frolicking outside in Cuba surfaced online yesterday (March 27). He’s said to be staying in the rural area of Pinar del Rio. In the brief clip, he smiles from wear to ear while walking along an embankment. He appears to be enjoying the warm weather, wearing a hat and an unbuttoned shirt. The energy around the “GOOBA” artist overseas is clearly high. The camera caught him being warmly embraced by a little one as the post comes to an end.

6ix9ine Spotted in Cuba

Seeing as the post didn’t come from 6ix9ine himself, we can’t officially confirm whether or not he’s relocated to the island for the time being. Seeing as he’s visited in the past, it’s entirely possible internet trolls could be using old footage in an attempt to cause a stir online. Still, though, the 26-year-old seems to be laying low in wake of the wild attack. He may not have much to publicly say on the matter, but plenty of other celebrities, as well as friends and family members have chimed in.

His baby mama, Sara Molina, believes that their 7-year-old daughter will likely be embarrassed by 6ix9ine’s actions when she’s old enough to understand the situation. Additionally, she called her ex “reckless” for failing to surround himself with an adequate security team. Elsewhere in the news, Charleston White has been speaking out in defence of the victim, and accordingly putting those clowning him and his injuries on blast. Read more about that here, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

6ix9ine Cuba Visit Forces Government To Shut Down Internet

6ix9ine recently visited Cuba, and the results proved so chaotic that the government of Cuba shut down the Internet. Moreover, reports indicate officials shut down services for hours to stop the spread of a video showing the rapper throwing money away. Also, the news comes right as the “FEFE” provocateur announced new shows in Israel and a new Instagram account. Ironically, however, his antics on social media caused an uproar, although accounts differ. Some say he threw dollar bills to crowds from his hotel window, while others claim he did so from his car. Either way, many expressed outrage at the rapper’s insensitive alleged display, including the Cuban government.

Furthermore, they stated that the viral reported incident engaged in “humiliating” and “shameful” behavior. Not only that, but the clip amplified stories of poverty and struggle that many associate with the Caribbean country. Earlier this week, Tekashi posted some videos of his visit, but later deleted them. According to AllHipHop, his actions prompted to government to terminate Internet services temporarily to stop videos of it from spreading.

Translation: “Rapper 6ix9ine launches bills from his hotel room in Havana. Fidel, Raúl, PCC and @DiazCanelB you’ve led the Cuban people to lose even their dignity. Cuban, respect yourself and fight for your freedom, go to the streets but to fight, not to idolize an artist…

However, no one knows the reason behind his stay, or whether he’s still there as of writing this article. After all, tourism is a prohibited industry in the nation. Moreover, U.S. citizens only gain access through group travel as part of a “people-to-people” cultural and/or educational tour. However, the rapper issued a disclaimer regarding his cash in an Instagram Story post days prior. “I ain’t got no money,” the 26-year-old wrote on social media. “That money you be seeing me with on Instagrams that be fake money, props.”

Meanwhile, perhaps his exploits will see the light of day on his new Instagram account, “The Biggest Opp.” While the name is pretty on the nose, he said that he will post much more often on there. “I start today follow @thebigggestttoppp that’s my second page but ima post there more then here,” he wrote. “Im with my friend @madaboutleyh. We on a girls trip. So, like yeah please nobody get mad at me :/ or her please fr.” However you feel about his antics, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on 6ix9ine.
