Kanye West Shuts Down Construction Company Amid Financial Struggle

Kanye West is going through a lot right now, and has been for almost a full year following his fallout with The Gap, Adidas, and the public after his anti-semitic comments and other controversial behavior. While he’s up to other endeavors these days like his Yeezy fashion shows, his pockets don’t seem to run as deep as they used to. Moreover, AllHipHop reports that the Chicago native shut down his construction company, Yeezy Construction, Inc. What’s more is that he actually had at least one major project on the horizon when it came to property. However, it seems like that goal is unattainable at the moment.

Furthermore, he planned to renovate his $57 million Malibu property and customize it as he saw fit. To elaborate, Kanye West basically rendered the home skeletal as he sought to add new windows and invest in making it his own. Back in November of 2022, reports emerged that the 45-year-old halted said process because of his worsening financials and business relationships. Now, the U.S. Sun reports that sources see the property abandoned and in ruin.

Kanye West’s Abandoned Malibu Property

The financial repercussions that Ye faced for his antics vary, whether it’s partnerships cutting ties altogether or forming some sort of compromise due to the other side’s monetary fallout, as well. For example, recent reports indicated that Adidas did, in fact, freeze Kanye West’s account totaling close to $100 million as he previously claimed. While they agreed to sell the remainder of unsold Yeezy stock, it’s clear the brand wants to officially terminate the relationship as soon as possible. In addition, they announced that most of the proceeds will go to the Anti-Defamation League, a leading voice against antisemitism, and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change dedicated to the life of George Floyd and justice for marginalized communities.

Meanwhile, as new Yeezy colorways and designs hit the Internet, fans wonder just how much money this will net the multi-hyphenate. Also, debate surely sprouted among many fans on whether they would support this decision. Regardless of how it pans out, it will be very interesting to see how this business deal comes to a close- and how much stakeholders and the company leaders themselves will benefit from it. Snoop Dogg Calls Out Other Designers Taking His Shut Down Clothing Line’s Style

Snoop Dogg is a pioneer in a few areas. While he is mostly known for his musical innovations and being one of the leading rap figures from the West Coast, now his forays into fashion have him questioning whether he got dealt a bad hand. Moreover, he recently popped by The Pivot podcast to talk about his cancelled clothing line, which refers to his Snoop Dogg Clothing collection in the early 1990s. Furthermore, he remarked how it got shut down for being gang-related, mostly due to the “Paisley print” that he used in his designs. However, he claimed that just a couple of years after its downfall, some of the top designers in the world jacked his style.

“I had a clothing line called Snoop Dogg Clothing in the early ’90s,” the Doggfather recalled. “New York was the fashion industry. So when I come out with my clothing line, they made Roc-A-Wear, they had Sean John. They had all of these East Coast lines. So I put my s**t out, and naturally, I put some crippin’ on mine with the rag. You know what I’m sayin’? ‘Cause I’m like, rag, what I represent.

Snoop Dogg Breaks Down How His First Clothing Line Got Shut Down

“First thing they said was ‘Uh, this is gang-related. It’ll never be at Macy’s, they’ll never take it at these big stores,’” Snoop Dogg continued. “I’m like, ‘Okay, well, what am I supposed to do?’ They said, ‘You should kill that idea and come with something else.’ So, basically, they shut my clothing line down. Three years later, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, all these motherf***ers got my Paisley print on their s**t. And I’m sitting back like, ‘Hm, that’s how they work. They work like that now, huh?’ I get it. But we have to live and learn and get better.”

Unfortunately, other business ventures from the Long Beach legend recently came under fire, as well. His Funko Pop! shop in Inglewood was vandalized with anti-crip graffiti. All that being said, we’re sure that he has plenty more to thrive in, market, and grow when it comes to his music and whole host of other endeavors. 6ix9ine Cuba Visit Forces Government To Shut Down Internet

6ix9ine recently visited Cuba, and the results proved so chaotic that the government of Cuba shut down the Internet. Moreover, reports indicate officials shut down services for hours to stop the spread of a video showing the rapper throwing money away. Also, the news comes right as the “FEFE” provocateur announced new shows in Israel and a new Instagram account. Ironically, however, his antics on social media caused an uproar, although accounts differ. Some say he threw dollar bills to crowds from his hotel window, while others claim he did so from his car. Either way, many expressed outrage at the rapper’s insensitive alleged display, including the Cuban government.

Furthermore, they stated that the viral reported incident engaged in “humiliating” and “shameful” behavior. Not only that, but the clip amplified stories of poverty and struggle that many associate with the Caribbean country. Earlier this week, Tekashi posted some videos of his visit, but later deleted them. According to AllHipHop, his actions prompted to government to terminate Internet services temporarily to stop videos of it from spreading.

Translation: “Rapper 6ix9ine launches bills from his hotel room in Havana. Fidel, Raúl, PCC and @DiazCanelB you’ve led the Cuban people to lose even their dignity. Cuban, respect yourself and fight for your freedom, go to the streets but to fight, not to idolize an artist…

However, no one knows the reason behind his stay, or whether he’s still there as of writing this article. After all, tourism is a prohibited industry in the nation. Moreover, U.S. citizens only gain access through group travel as part of a “people-to-people” cultural and/or educational tour. However, the rapper issued a disclaimer regarding his cash in an Instagram Story post days prior. “I ain’t got no money,” the 26-year-old wrote on social media. “That money you be seeing me with on Instagrams that be fake money, props.”

Meanwhile, perhaps his exploits will see the light of day on his new Instagram account, “The Biggest Opp.” While the name is pretty on the nose, he said that he will post much more often on there. “I start today follow @thebigggestttoppp that’s my second page but ima post there more then here,” he wrote. “Im with my friend @madaboutleyh. We on a girls trip. So, like yeah please nobody get mad at me :/ or her please fr.” However you feel about his antics, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on 6ix9ine.
