The Kansas City Chiefs have been struggling offensively of late, at least relative to the sky-high expectations they’ve set for themselves with Patrick Mahomes under center.

This year, the Chiefs have had a middling offense and have struggled to both sustain and finish drives in the way we’re accustomed to seeing, largely because of an inconsistent passing attack. Drops have been a big issue for the Chiefs this year, as their receiving corps has been a disappointment, and even the tight ends, headlined by Travis Kelce, have had a tough last month-plus. However, a reprieve appeared to be coming Kansas City’s way on Sunday as they were in a prime “get right” spot against a woefully bad Patriots team.

While it took a bit to get going, the Chiefs eventually hit their stride to take a 27-10 lead in the second half. It could’ve been an even bigger lead, but a couple red zone possessions stalled out and resulted in field goals. One of those came in the early third quarter when a third down pass to Kelce in the back of the end zone fell incomplete, with the star tight end doing his best to flop and draw an interference penalty to get a first down. That was unsuccessful, but it did yield a new reaction meme in the form of Taylor Swift dropping an f-bomb trying to figure out where the flag was.

Watching Taylor Swift morph into a rabid Chiefs fan has been at true delight to watch this season, as she’s gone from happily cheering for big Kelce plays when they first started publicly dating to now being a full-on irrational fan like the rest of us. The telltale sign of that transformation is dropping f-bombs at the refs for not throwing flags on pretty clear non-calls, and Taylor puts her whole chest into this one.

This is what three months of being locked in on football will do to someone and it’s just nice to get confirmation in real time that it’s inevitable for anyone.

Blueface has confirmed that he will be preparing to throw down with Soulja Boy at Glendale Park at 5pm Pacific. Blue confirmed the news on Instagram with a brief video. However, it’s unclear if Soulja will be there. “Whether you be there or not, I’ll be waiting,” Blue said in his video. Blue challenged Soulja in the early hours of Sunday morning. “Soulja meet me tomorrow 5pm at Glendale park bro neutral area nobody hood or none bring whoever you want bro please show up an run my fade on sY,” Blue wrote on X in the early hours of Sunday morning. Furthermore, Blue also continued to bring up the fact that he had previously slept with Soulja’s BM. “This his Bm right here….shouldn’t have brought up Jaidyn f-ck n-gga….play this at the versus an it’s over,” Blue wrote on X alongside a video.

Meanwhile, Blue had Jaidyn Alexis throwing hands in Utah. After inviting a fan on stage, Blue immediately began to beef the woman before shoving her at Alexis. The pair immediately began to scuffle before being separated by security. This came after Blue bragged about how protective he was of Alexis. “When I heard the word “Jaidyn” come out his mouth now that’s where he f-cked up at that ones going to cost you every time 😂 I turn to a savage bout Jaidyn,” the rapper admitted. However, commenters were quick to point out that Blueface is not exactly a paragon of virtue when it comes to treating his baby mama right.

Jaidyn Alexis Stuns At Blueface Concert

Furthermore, Alexis earned praise from across her fandom as she posted up in a racing jacket and new wig ahead of their Utah concert. Alexis paired the jacket with a black crop top and her signature “Jaidyn” pendant chain. “She always been a pretty woman she just receives a lot of hate,” one person responded on Instagram. However, not everyone was complimentary. “Don’t like Ebony prn and hates black women but wears perm Yaki😂 someone make it make sense! Don’t wanna be us but wanna look like us!😂😂,” one person argued.

Despite their often strained relationship, the pair are often seemingly inseparable. In October, Alexis staked her claim on Blueface, calling the rapper “her d-ck” despite new rumors about him. She made the bold claim in a video posted to social media, where she was vibing with Blue, and the rapper was claiming that he “wasn’t going nowhere”. However, several people have claimed that Blue has in fact been going places. First, there is Chrisean Rock, who claims that she and Blue were hooking up mere days before he proposed to Alexis.

Rather raunchily, one image that Beyonce included was a close-up of the back of her shorts. While it was likely meant to show the label, it was a rather booty-filled shot. The year has been full of Beyonce stories, again due to her massive, global tour. However, one particularly sweet story came from comedian Lil Rel Howery. Howery got engaged in September to long-time girlfriend Dannella Lane. The venue he chose for this very special moment was Beyonce’s concert at SoFi Stadium on September 4. However, while speaking with TMZ, he revealed that things could have gone horribly wrong if not for the efforts of Beyonce herself. Turns out that Lil Rel was waiting for “Love On Top”. This was because Tina Knowles has suggested it is the perfect song to propose to. In fact, Knowles made the arrangements to capture the proposal on the jumbotron.

However, the song was later in the setlist than Lil Rel was expecting. And, as misfortune would have it, “Love on Top” would begin playing as soon as Lil Rel reached the men’s bathroom. After doing what he needed to do, he attempted to make it back to his seat, only to realize he had gotten lost. After several minutes, with “Love on Top” (4:27 in length) still miraculously playing, Lil Rel made it back to his seat. He found his confused girlfriend waiting along with a cameraman and a slightly annoyed Beyoncé, who had been stalling for time during the song.

Kanye West fans were left disappointed last week when they expected his joint album with Ty Dolla Sign to drop, which obviously didn’t happen. Instead, social media users woke up to headlines surrounding the controversial statements made by the Chicago MC during his Vegas Vultures listening party. He managed to reinforce his antisemitic streak, stir up drama with Nicki Minaj’s Barbz, and more.

Ye’s since confirmed that Vultures will now be released on December 31. The listening party debacle and delays have managed to cloud the musical elements of the release. Regardless, fans are still curious as to what Ye has up his sleeve for this latest project. In a new snippet, he samples Sha’Carri Richardson, a celebrated track and field star from Dallas who helped Ye tease Donda back in 2021.

In the snippet, Richardson is heard saying “I’m ready mentally, physically, and emotionally. And I’m here to stay, and I’m back not better.” The clip comes from Richardson’s interview at the 2023 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where she secured her first national title. Her words are certainly inspiring and make for a solid sample, getting fans even more excited for Vultures.

There is at least one fan who may not be as excited for Vultures as they once were, however. In a new clip, Ye’s seen surrounded by some supporters, shaking their hands and greeting them. When one woman reached out to hug Ye, he stopped her in her tracks, moving on to hug a different woman nearby. While Ye has the right to hug or not hug whoever he wants, the fan looked pretty defeated when he turned her down, and some commenters think it was a shady move.

Beyonce & Omarion Light Up Our New “R&B Season” Playlist Update: Stream

Winter is here, and there’s still a lot of great new music to find within it on our newest R&B Season playlist update. Leading the way is a new track from none other than Beyoncé, who recently celebrated the ten-year anniversary of her self-titled album. In order to do so, she released a brand new track from this era titled “Grown Woman,” which is a vibrant and jovial cut with a lot of frantic and engaging percussion. In fact, it’s not too far from what the RENAISSANCE star is playing with these days, so this is a really special full-circle moment for fans.

Furthermore, we also got a brand new album from B2K’s own Omarion this week with Full Circle: Sonic Book Two. With its slow tempos, sultry instrumental riffs, atmospheric backing textures, and buttery vocal performances, this is among the most classic R&B on this Season update. Particularly, the track “Taking Off” with BJRNCK is a sensual duet with washed-out drums and bubbly backing synths. There’s a certain swing and momentum to the melodies and bass licks here that makes this a prime cut for late night drives, a smoke session, or… you know. It’s Omarion, after all!

HNHH R&B Season Playlist: Stream

Jokes aside, we also got another cut from the original motion picture soundtrack for The Color Purple on this R&B Season update. Keyshia Cole’s contribution, “No Love Lost,” is a heart-ached but powerfully perseverant song with grand and cathartic instrumentation, highlighted best by the wondrous string arrangements. In addition, LAVI$H’s new single “Your Biggest Fan” strips things back to some gentle guitar and harp strings and a reverb-soaked vocal performance. It’s one of the more lovey-dovey cuts from this new batch of releases, and its simplicity does a lot to focus on that emotive center.

Rounding things out is a new track from amani., the woozy, trap-inspired, and incredibly charismatic “Headache.” Finally, we wanted to shout out TheARTI$T’s single “Damaged” for its hazy synths, cavernous percussion, and romantically conflicted lyricism. Kaytranada Originally Approached To Produce “Honestly, Nevermind”

Kaytranada has revealed that Drake’s team initially reached out to him about working on Honestly, Nevermind. “I met Drake in L.A. one time, and that was it, really. At one point, one of his boys was like, ‘Your boy wants some beats. He’s gonna do a house album.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, sure, hit me up.’ That’s my thing: anybody that wanna work with me, just hit me up. Maybe my reaction rubbed them the wrong way, but I was just saying, ‘Hey, if you’re serious, hit me up, let’s work, for real,’” he told Montreality.

Despite a mixed critical reception, Honestly, Nevermind was still a No. 1 album, continuing Drake’s trend of top-charting albums. Honestly, Nevermind was Drake’s seventh, with For All The Dogs becoming his eighth this year. However, despite it not being made explicit in Kaytranada’s interview, he was ultimately not involved in Honestly, Nevermind.

Drake Gets “Album Of The Year” From Jim Jones

Furthermore, speaking of Drake albums, For All The Dogs, his release from 2023, got a lot of praise after it (finally) dropped. Jim Jones declared For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition his best album of the year. Jones gave his answer at ComplexCon. “That extendo clip that Drake just dropped got real spooky on n-ggas,” Jones explained. However, he also gave props to Too Good To Be True and Utopia. The six-song deluxe EP recently helped push the Drake product back to the top of the Billboard album charts. Despite the success of the album, last week only marked its second week at No. 1. It displaced Stray Kids’ ROCK-STAR, which tumbled to No. 7.

Furthermore, For All The Dogs has also reached platinum certification last month. For All The Dogs then returned to No. 1, holding off another resurgence from 1989 (Taylor’s Version), which spent another week at No. 2. Ironically, the first track of Drake’s EP shouts out Taylor Swift. “Taylor Swift the only n-gga that I ever rated. Only one could make me drop the album just a little later. Rest of y’all, I treat you like you never made it,” Drake raps on “Red Button”.

NBA YoungBoy Dresses As Santa Claus To Take Kids Sledding

NBA YoungBoy is spreading the holiday cheer, and also recognizing that he has the leadership and admiration to do something nice for the kids. Moreover, the rapper dressed up as Santa Claus and took people sledding through the Utah mountains, complete with Huskies and multiple carriages. It was a pretty wholesome affair for the rapper, who’s usually in the news for more conflict-driven headlines with other rappers. Nevertheless, even he isn’t immune to Christmas cheer, and he even previewed a new song with some holiday melodies and references. Sure, YB still included some typical rap subject matter in there, so he can’t quite let go of his craft.

Furthermore, it’s heartening to see YoungBoy have some pure, unbothered fun with the youth. Rarely can he engage in his personal life without facing some form of scrutiny, whether for his views or for the context around his house arrest. The 24-year-old remained quite vocal about his frustrations and struggles with this circumstance, something that he probably won’t let go of. Hopefully that clears up for him in the near future, especially leniency amid the holiday season to spend time with his loved ones.

In other news, YoungBoy actually did his part last week to spread the joyful spirit in the name of beef-squashing. Surviving Migos Members Slammed Users Online For Tastelessly Joking About Takeoff’s Death Amidst Cardi B Drama

It’s no fun when a family feuds, but it gets particularly nasty when the public gets involved. After Cardi B accused her estranged husband, Offset, of wrongdoing during an explosive Instagram Live, fans quickly began to take sides. Despite denying rumors that he was romantically connected to Chrisean Rock, people online have begun to flood Offset’s social media comment sections with nasty messages.

Although the personal attacks haven’t phased him, Offset put his foot down when people began to turn their attention to the late Migos member Takeoff. In a disgusting attempt to hurt Offset, several accounts made tasteless jokes about Takeoff’s tragic death. On Saturday, December 16, Offset reached his boiling point.

“Fan wishing death on Takeoff is crazy. Y’all lil ass better chill,” wrote Offset.

He later posted, “Correction: Fans using Takeoff’s name in the middle of all this isn’t cool. I’m still grieving my brother and would like for his name not to be brought up.”

Quavo also chimed in on the matter, coming to the defense of his late nephew. “Nephew ain’t wit the soap opera. LONG LIVE Rocket 🚀 🙏🏾 pray for y’all tho,” he wrote.

However, speaking of Rock’s ties to the music industry, she was recently involved in a fringe beef with NLE Choppa. Choppa denied that his recent bar about Rock’s tooth was a “diss”. “Was not dissing Chrisean”, Choppa wrote on Instagram over a video of the bar in question. “@chrisean You Know I’m Scared Of You 😒😂” Choppa added as a caption to the post. However, it remains to be seen what the purpose of the lyric if not to diss Rock for her famously absent tooth.

Choppa’s response came after Rock went after him hours after the song dropped. “This is so random ppl will just mention me saying anything,” Rock wrote on social media, alongside a cry-laughing emoji. However, Rock’s blase response actually got a fair amount of hate. People argued that she is never one to steer away from free exposure. Some fans went as far as to suggest that Choppa put her on the remix.
