King Yella Blasts Diddy’s Son King Combs For Alleged GDK Affiliation

In a recent Instagram post, Chicago rapper King Yella called out King Combs, the son of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, for his purported association with gang, GDK (Gangster Disciples Killer). The video, which has since gone viral, features King Yella expressing his surprise and concern about King Combs’ alleged involvement with the gang. The video opens with King Yella addressing the situation head-on, stating, “So I look on the internet and I see Puff Daddy’s son come out saying GDK.” The rapper then dives into the apparent contradictions of King Combs aligning himself with GDK, especially given the serious legal allegations surrounding his iconic father, Diddy.

“It’s not a good time when your dad has all these allegations…” he continued. “Why would you even try to involve yourself in anything GDK?” questioned King Yella, highlighting his motives for his involvement. King Yella then dropped a bombshell, revealing that he had received a call from King Combs seeking advice on whether he should pursue drill music. In the video, King Yella expressed his disbelief, stating, “Bro, why would you want to do drill music? You don’t come from the streets or come from none of that. You were born famous, not from the streets. Come from a rich daddy that’s fighting a bunch of sexual allegations and crazy stuff. And you want to come talking about GDK. Don’t let them GDs get witchu you, dude. Goofy.”

It all started when Nia Long shared her only regret of the year on Twitter: “My only regret this year is missing @Usher in Vegas (sad eyes emoji).” Little did she know, Usher himself would step into the conversation. Usher responded to Nia’s regret, stating, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Vegas on 2/11 (winky face emoji).” However, the plot thickened as fans dissected the message, realizing that his mention of February 11 coincided with the date of the Super Bowl. Lil Baby Disses Gunna During “Drip Too Hard” Performance: “F**k The Rats”

The YSL RICO trial has been giving us regular updates on Young Thug and his co-defendants from their Georgia courtroom, though we still don’t have answers on how the So Much Fun artist feels about his frequent collaborator, Gunna. His BUSINESS IS BUSINESS album includes some shady bars at the 30-year-old, but according to Thugger’s father, Jeffrey Williams’ family has no issues with the lyricist. Many major players in the industry made it known that Gunna isn’t in their social circle anymore, either by unfollowing him on social media or even publicly accusing him of snitching.

Lil Baby is one artist who’s been shading the “fukumean” hitmaker with reckless abandon, even throwing up the YSL symbol while spitting bars about rats earlier this fall. Before that, the father of two went viral when an unreleased snippet hit the internet, including lyrics that appear to reference Gunna’s plea deal. “Some ni**as taking pleas at trial / I know Slime ain’t happy,” Baby spits on the song, hinting that Thug didn’t approve of is “Hot” collaborator’s legal move.

Lil Baby Seemingly Fuels Gunna Feud

At a recent concert, Baby took things to a new level, appearing to call Wunna a “rat” when their hit single, “Drip Too Hard” came on. “F**k the rats, turn this s**t off,” the Southern star yelled as lights flashed and smoke filled the venue. It’s been a minute since the artists unfollowed each other on Instagram, but now that the YSL RICO trial is underway, it seems the My Turn artist wants to make his support for Thugger felt.

Gunna’s comeback from jail was anything but easy, despite the Atlanta-based artist finally having his freedom back. Luckily, he’s become a pro at ignoring the negativity and criticism in favour of focusing on his personal growth, as well as his new relationship. Over the years, Ashanti has been revisiting her music catalog. The “Gotta Move On” singer is aiming to pull a Taylor Swift, which is to say hoping to regain the masters of her older albums. While reminiscing on the past, Ashanti happened to reconnect with a very famous ex, Nelly. Since their lovey-dovey Las Vegas performance in April, the pair haven’t left each other’s side. Now, their romantic party of two might be expanding soon.

On Monday, December 4, US Weekly alleged that Ashanti and Nelly are expecting their first child together. Fans online quickly elated over the rumor, given that the couple dated on and off for nearly 10 years. Given the news, it’s worth asking how many kids does Ashanti have?

The answer is: Ashanti doesn’t have any children. As for Nelly, he has four children of his own: two children (a daughter and son) from prior relationships and two adopted children. Nelly’s adoptive children are his biological niece and nephew. Nelly formerly adopted his niece and nephew following the death of his sister Jackie, who battled health complications from leukemia.

If Ashanti is indeed expecting, this would make for Nelly’s third biological child.

Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa Relationship Timeline

It’s been nine years since Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa split up. The whirlwind romance between the model and the chart-topping rapper intrigued audiences worldwide. For this reason, the former couple has stayed in fans’ minds ever since. After all, many relationships have remained popular in the entertainment industry despite their end. In a similar fashion, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa started a romance that burned brightly in the beginning but eventually fizzled out in 2014.

Amber shared additional information about their relationship on the No Jumper podcast on November 16, 2023. She revealed that for a while after her split from Khalifa, she was devastated about their separation. On the podcast, she said that she “cried for three years straight” after their breakup. Thankfully, she seems to have recovered from the heartbreak, and the two are on good terms as co-parents. Here’s a timeline of the relationship between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa.

2011: Wiz Khalifa Makes His Interests Known

In an exclusive interview with Vlad TV in 2014, Amber Rose detailed how she first met Wiz. Rose revealed that before their first meeting, she heard Wiz indicate interest in her in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid. According to the model, when DJ Whoo Kid asked the rapper who he would like to date, Wiz’s sole answer was “Amber Rose.” Subsequently, feeling flattered, she reached out to him on Twitter (now X), offering to send him a pair of her custom sunglasses. Contrarily, he suggested that they meet up in Los Angeles instead, since he would be in the city soon. After Wiz eventually arrived in L.A., they met up, and the rest is history.

According to Rose, she and Wiz instantly fell in love with each other. Despite initially making up her mind not to get into a relationship with a rapper, Rose’s barriers were instantly shattered after Wiz showed up in L.A. In the clip shared by Vlad TV, she shared, “I told my mom, I was like ‘Mom, I’m gonna marry him. I’m gonna have all his babies, and I just wanna be with him forever.’ We both knew it instantly. We did.”

One of their earliest and most memorable appearances as a couple was at 2011’s MTV VMAs. They sported complementary white outfits for the award ceremony. While walking the pre-show red carpet, the pair spoke about the possibility of marriage and building a family together. “We discuss it all the time; like he said, we’re very much in love,” Rose told MTV News.

Following multiple confirmations of their intent to marry, on March 1, 2012, they took the first step towards it. Wiz Khalifa proposed to Amber Rose, and she said yes. Subsequently, the pair took to social media to announce and celebrate their engagement. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she flaunted her humongous diamond ring.

In the aforementioned Vlad TV interview, Rose was asked if she planned on having kids or if Sebastian just happened. Surprisingly, she revealed that she had a miscarriage one month before becoming pregnant with Sebastian. “Right after the miscarriage, I was kind of like, depressed, but I was like, ‘You know, God does everything for a reason, it’s just not the right time,’” she said. A month later, she got pregnant again, and in February 2012, Sebastian was born.

July 2013: Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa Seal The Deal

Following the birth of their son, the couple tied the knot on July 8, 2013, in a courthouse. “Me and Amber got married today. Weddings this fall. Thought I’d let yall know,” Wiz tweeted. Subsequently, they had the wedding ceremony in August.

I knew as soon as I met u, u were the one for me sweetheart. Happy 1 year anniversary and many more to come.”

Shockingly, on September 22, 2014, Amber Rose filed for divorce from the “Black & Yellow” rapper. In a pair of now-deleted tweets shared on September 25, 2014, she alluded to Wiz Khalifa cheating. “Please stop with the fake stories. I would never ever ever cheat on my husband in a million years I think u guys know this,” she wrote. “Unfortunately my now ex husband can’t say the same….”

Now ten years old, Sebastian has been co-parented by Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa since 2015. Rose and Wiz came together to celebrate their son’s tenth birthday in February this year. So, while the two are no longer romantically involved, it seems their co-parenting relationship is going well.

G-Unit: The Game Says 50 Cent Was Only Member Making Money

The Game is a name that’s been well-known in hip-hop for decades. Like many of his contemporaries, rap beefs have come his way throughout the years. One of the West Coast icon’s most famous feuds is with 50 Cent, whom he previously worked with in G-Unit. During a sitdown with VladTV, Game spoke about his experience in the group, and how it helped him move up on the industry’s ladder. However, he did admit that it felt as though Fif was the only one getting serious monetary opportunities, leading to some resentment between them.

“I appreciated the step up on the ladder,” the 44-year-old told Vlad. “I always felt like if I never got put in G-Unit, or Dr. Dre didn’t sign me to Aftermath, I would still be sitting here talking to you with the same track record,” he said. “I’m the type, like if I put my mind to something and I say this is what I want to do, that’s just simply what I’m going to do… It was cool being in G-Unit, but then it wasn’t because I felt like we was just in it.”

The Game Reflects on G-Unit’s Highs and Lows

From Game’s perspective, “50 was making the money and we was just in G-Unit.” The Compton native wasn’t specifically salty because of Curtis Jackson’s hunger for success. Still, he was hurting while cast in the shadows of another lyricist while trying to reach the top himself. “I definitely wanted to like, just be a solo artist and like get to get to it,” he admitted.

As The Game reflects on all the money he didn’t make while working with G-Unit, 50 Cent is keeping busy securing the bag than to another nemesis’ downfall. Last week, the “I Get Money” artist confirmed that he’s working on a documentary depicting Diddy’s troubling behaviour in the industry over the years after Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit. Slim Thug Calls For Exclusive Black Ownership of Black Music

In a recent Instagram Live session, Houston rapper Slim Thug stirred up controversy with bold statements. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of the hip-hop industry. The artist discussed a contentious topic, asserting that Jewish people should not be owners of Black music. “Jewish people should own Drake — Drake is Jewish,” he said. “Jewish people should own Jewish music,” he said. “I don’t like that Jewish people own Black music, I don’t want Jewish people who are not a part of the culture to own the culture. I want only Black people to own Black music.” He went on to elaborate on his stance, advocating for exclusive Black ownership of Black music and urging a shift away from non-Black individuals holding the reins of the culture.

The rapper expressed a desire to reclaim control over the industry. He emphasized that only those who are deeply ingrained in the culture should be its custodians. “We need to take the culture back, he continued. “While these Black people broke, we need to own our music.” Slim Thug passionately declared. Slim Thug’s perspective, however, doesn’t stop at Black music. He expanded his argument to include other racial and ethnic categories. “It should be that for every race. If you Jewish, you should own Jewish music. If you white, you should own white music, country music,” he asserted. The rapper believes that this approach is not discriminatory but rather a call for equality in ownership across different musical genres.

Slim Thug Defends His Stance

While Slim Thug didn’t call out specific individuals, he expressed support for Dame Dash, a figure known for his confrontations with non-Black music executives during his tenure at Roc-A-Fella Records. Thug commended Dash for standing up against what he perceives as “culture vultures” in the industry. “We don’t want people culture vulturing us,” he says. “We going at all the culture vultures. That’s why tried to push Dame Dash to the side. Dame Dash was right — he was standing on business.”

The rapper’s perspective supports his call for ownership rights among ethnic groups. This undoubtedly sparks a discussion around cultural appropriation and representation. In fact, Slim Thug’s remarks add fuel to the ongoing debate about who should hold the keys to the kingdom of Black music. This isn’t the first time Thug has called out the topic of race. In fact, he went on a rant just last month about DJ Vlad and accused him of being a culture vulture. Let us know your thoughts on HNHH!
