Usher Responds To Nia Long’s Tweet About Missing His Las Vegas Residency

Usher’s My Way vegas residency has recently come to an end, and many people are feeling the sadness of not having had a chance to attend. In an unexpected turn of events, Usher and actress Nia Long found themselves at the center of a Twitter encounter that has left fans guessing about the R&B icon’s next move. It all started when Nia Long shared her only regret of the year on Twitter: “My only regret this year is missing @Usher in Vegas (sad eyes emoji).” Little did she know, Usher himself would step into the conversation. Usher responded to Nia’s regret, stating, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Vegas on 2/11 (winky face emoji).” However, the plot thickened as fans dissected the message, realizing that his mention of February 11 coincided with the date of the Super Bowl. Not a continuation of his recently concluded My Way residency in Las Vegas, as some may have hoped.

The intriguing exchange left fans in a state of curiosity, with many trying to figure out Usher’s intentions. Was he hinting at an unexpected encore in Vegas, or was he slyly redirecting attention to his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show? Nia Long’s tweet resonated with fans who understood the feeling of missing out on Usher’s Vegas residency. After all, there were several, several iconinc moments that came out of his residency. To name a few, the time he had a playful moment with Keke Palmer, the time 21 Savage joined Usher for a rendition of “My Boo,” or the time he brought out Nas to perform with him. The memories are countless.

Moreover, Usher even broke down into tears during the final night of the show. Beyonce’s Shocking Vegas Residency Budget Unveiled

It’s no secret that Beyonce puts on groundbreaking performances, but they certainly don’t come without a cost. According to new reports, the hitmaker is in talks with officials at the Las Vegas Sphere about the potential of her doing a residency there next year. The budget she’s requested is pretty shocking. She’s said to be asking for a $10 million budget for production.

While the number is tough to fathom, it’s on par with what U2 requested for their 36-show stint at the Nevada venue. They were the first and only act to have a residency there, and they’ll wrap things up in February. According to source, Bey’s mother Tina Knowles as well as her husband Jay-Z have already toured the facility separately, which seems to suggest that the Texas native is seriously considering it.

The deal may come down to whether or not Madison Square Garden CEO James Dolan is up for the massive budget. Reportedly, her number might be a tad high, as she’d be guaranteed portion of the arena’s ticket sales. After the success of her Renaissance tour, however, it’s safe to say that seats would be filled. A potential Vegas residency isn’t the only thing Beyonce has to look forward to, either. Earlier this week, the first trailer for her upcoming concert film RENAISSANCE: A FILM BY BEYONCÉ dropped.

The eagerly-awaited film debuts in theaters on December 1, and obviously, fans can’t wait. The trailer only managed to build anticipation for the release, depicting levels of grandiosity that one would expect from a Beyonce project. “In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be really tough. To balance motherhood and being on this stage, it just reminds me of who I really am,” she says in the dramatic voiceover. What do you think of the budget Beyonce’s set for her potential Vegas residency? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Usher Invites Las Vegas Aces To Residency Show After Missing Championship Parade

Usher has extended an invite to the Las Vegas Aces to attended his “My Way” residency show. “I wish I could’ve been there, but pull up to my show… I got U. Shoutout to the defending champs, the Vegas Aces. A’ja Wilson, I got your message, I see you, I hear you. Couldn’t be at the parade but wanted to send this out to you to say congratulations to you and all the lovely ladies that once again did it again. I wanted to invite you to come see the show, come see me do it my way here in Vegas. We stick together, we love one another. Congratulations on this day and I’ll see you soon,” the musician said in a video posted to social media. While Usher was unable to attend the Aces’ parade after defending their WNBA title, 2 Chainz was on hand to perform.

However, Usher’s offer led to a little bit of friendly beefing amongst the team. “A’ja hit us in the group chat talkin bout WE are invited to go see Usher, but now that I’m seeing the video…SHE was invited. Which is cool, that’s fine! But why lie to ur teammates? 💔,” Sydney Colson wrote on X. “Lolololololololol syd scores 2 points in game 4 and think she can get usher tickets awww,” Wilson shot back.

Aces Become First Repeat Champs In 21 Years

Last week, the Aces made history. With a 70-69 road victory, the Las Vegas Aces secured their second WNBA title in as many seasons. After a double-digit loss in Game 3, the Aces bounced back to take a one-point win in front of a hostile and sold-out New York home crowd. A’ja Wilson had a game-high 24 points as injuries to key starters limited the Aces’ dominance but did not relegate them to silver scrapes. With the win, the Aces became the first team since the 2002 Los Angeles Sparks to win back-to-back titles. They were also the first defending champions to even make the Finals since the Sparks in 2017.

“This one’s sweeter. It just is. It’s harder to do,” head coach Becky Hammon said after the game. “This is what it’s all about, to have your name etched in history right now with other teams. We never gave up, and this is a moment that we need to celebrate. This is a moment that not a lot of people get a chance to do it, and for us to do it shorthanded, it is truly amazing. It just makes winning that much better,” Wilson, who was named Finals MVP, added.
