Jeezy & Jeannie Mai Custody Battle: Rapper’s Ex-Wife Reportedly Limiting Monaco’s Time With Him

It seems like just yesterday when Jeannie Mai and Jeezy were other people’s “couple goals.” Now, the exes are in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter, Monaco, though the Southern rhymer seems to be slightly more agreeable than he was a few days ago. Earlier this month, we reported that Jeezy was seeking primary custody of the young girl. We now know that he and his attorneys are asking for joint legal and physical custody with his ex-wife. However, he’s not necessarily loving how she’s handling the situation.

Documents obtained by @theneighborhoodtalk reveal that in Jeezy’s “renewed motion,” he accuses Mai of withholding Monaco from him. Apparently, the 46-year-old has only seen his daughter eight times so far this year. “The rapper says Jeannie attempted to establish a visitation agreement, but hasn’t held up her end and currently hasn’t shared her legal address with the rapper,” the gossip blog reports.

“The Petitioner [Jeezy] never imagined that he would have no idea where the minor child is, or that his parenting time and contact with the parties minor child would be restricted by the Respondent [Jeannie],” legal documents state. Elsewhere, in an incident on April 2nd, a caretaker went to Mai’s residence to pick up Monaco for her scheduled visitation with her father. “The caretaker claims they sat outside for hours before later realizing that Jeannie had taken all her belongings and vacated the home,” new allegations reveal.

Even with all the turmoil unfolding in his romantic life at this time, Jeezy’s not letting it keep him from getting in his creative bag. Earlier this week, throwback photos of the social media personality surfaced, dating back to her 2009 Smooth cover shoot. Not only does Rozay’s ex wear barely anything for the photos, but to add insult to injury she had 50 Cent pose alongside her. In the cover shot, Kemp confidently stands above the New Yorker in just black panties, a sparkly see-through cover-up, and vibrant red heels. Soulja Boy’s Ex Wins $10M In Damages From Assault Lawsuit Against Rapper

Soulja Boy is the first rapper to do a lot of things, but he certainly isn’t the first rapper to wind up in court with an ex-girlfriend. Since 2021, the Chicago native has been wrapped up in a harrowing lawsuit with a past former flame known only as Jane Doe. She claims she was beaten to the point of suffering a miscarriage at the hands of her then-boyfriend. At the time of the incident, the alleged victim was living with Soulja, real name DeAndre Cortez Way.

During a “simple conversation” the MC “quickly became irate and violent,” according to the suit. “During their conversation, (Way) began to punch (Doe) in the face and chest, until she could no longer stand on her feet.” When she fell, Soulja reportedly continued to attack and kick her in the stomach. “Soon thereafter, (Doe) suffered a miscarriage and was unable to carry her pregnancy into full-term,” court documents declare. Despite this, Doe stuck by her man, though he struck again in 2017. According to her, the 33-year-old put his hands on her for wanting to visit her grandmother, only stopping when security came in.

Soulja Boy Assault Lawsuit Ends Badly for Him

A judge has ruled that Doe will be awarded $10M in damages from her alleged abuser. She’s getting $5M for pain, suffering, and inconvenience, and another $5M for emotional distress. “It took her years to escape the psychological and physical grasp of her abuser,” attorney Neama Rahmani told USA Today of her client’s struggles. The same lawyer is representing another Jane Doe taking legal action against Soulja, citing experiences of sexual abuse and kidnapping.

The Indiana native’s baby mama, known online as The Fit Mami, was with him at the time of the incident and wound up being prescribed medication to help with her panic attacks afterward. She and Gibbs are no longer together romantically, as he allegedly walked out after finding out about her pregnancy, but the content creator isn’t struggling on her own. Instead, she’s got The Butcher to keep her warm.

After taking some ice off his 41-year-old opp, the East Coast icon is now putting a brand new flashy piece on The Fit Mami (real name Destini). In the video below, Benny hooks the large necklace around her slender neck as she proudly poses for the flashing cameras. Not only does the mother of two occasionally appear on the family’s reality show (which she’s been a part of since childhood), but she also has several brands, including Kylie Cosmetics, Skin, and Baby who’ve launched countless products over the years to help amass her fortune. As Daily Mail reports, Jenner’s attorneys trademarked her name for dozens of items in June 2019. Among them were “spirits; liquor; wine; alcoholic cocktail mixes; prepared alcoholic cocktail and prepared wine cocktails.” Interestingly, it wasn’t until February 2023 when an application for Sprinter, her new hard seltzer line came in. As the outlet notes, this is being perceived as a direct shot at her baby daddy, Travis Scott, who’s planning to re-launch his Cacti drinks later this month.

La Flame filed a trademark for his hard beverage in June 2020 and launched it in March 2021, amid his relationship with Jenner. Following backlash from that year’s Astroworld Festival Tragedy, production ceased, leaving fans thirsty for more. Cacti 2.0 is arriving on shelves on March 15, not long before his ex’s Sprinter drinks will go on sale (March 21). “Kylie ripped his idea plain and simple,” a source, allegedly close to Scott, told the outlet.
