In the photo, the Savannah-born baddie is seen posing with a fan outside of a nail salon, looking laid back and all-natural. She wore little to no makeup and a casual fit with her hair slicked back.

While the personality obviously looks different than she would with a full beat, the photo has prompted outrage among some commenters, who think her look was less than impressive. “Def unfollowed jayda cus waydaf*cking minute,” one critical Twitter/X user writes. “I’m sorry but Jayda look ugly on this lmao,” another claims.

Amid all of the chatter, Jayda decided to hop online to come to her own defense earlier today, revealing that she has no plans of letting hate stand in her way.

The photo is a mirror selfie that sees the rapper wearing just a hoodie and nothing else while making a modest attempt to cover herself with one hand. It was shared without a caption and sparked a variety of reactions from fans.

Some pulled up in the comments seemingly disappointed by the post. “You’re better than this” one comment suggests. “Female artists don’t even make music no more they just post [cat emoji] on the internet,” another theorizes. But for every comment criticizing her there are multiple comments thirsting over her. Fans shared numerous NSFW pictures and gifs in response to the post. Earlier this year, Coi Leray found herself caught up in a beef she didn’t really have much of a say in. Her father Benzino took aim at Eminem and Em found the right place to respond. He appeared on a short song from the new Lyrical Lemonade album back in January. On the song he mostly focuses his venom at Benz, but also uses Coi’s name for a punchline about a potential collaboration.

To Coi Leray’s credit, she tried to take the high road. She made a tweet about not indulging in rap beefs because of how petty and unproductive they feel. Drake’s Instagram antics are a part of his brand at this point, whether it’s music video teases or some nice memes. However, we can’t miss how folks often clown him online for fashion choices and other style reasons, whether or not that’s warranted or funny in the first place. On that note, fans are now taking aim at the 6ix God’s recently showcased curls in an IG Story selfie, which sees him do a little duck face for the camera, too. Folks flooded comments sections under posts covering this with cheeky, “zesty” GIFs of him, plus references to other similarly themed jabs at him. “It’s giving Ben Stiller in Zoolander,” one fan expressed, with another adding “21 can you do sum fa meeeee.”

Furthermore, part of this hyper-fixation is just because of how big Drake is as an artist and celebrity. Otherwise, folks wouldn’t care too much to comment on any old selfie from some guy, and they let some of their most critical or bigoted thoughts emerge when it’s about a huge superstar. He doesn’t mind at all, though; after all, he keeps posting things like this all the time. With $1.1 million on the line for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl today (Sunday, February 11), we’ll see if the ‘Gram contains any fun looks, antics, or comments for the occasion.

Ocean teased having a new album in store when he performed at Coachella in 2023. “It’s been so long, but I have missed you. I want to talk about why I’m here, because it’s not because of a new album. It’s because… not that there’s not a new album, just like… but there’s not right now,” he said on stage during the performance. Outside of the announcement, the show didn’t go over well with fans. It started an hour late, featured no new music, and ended early due to the festival’s curfew. A live stream of the set was also cut last-minute. Amid all of the complaints, he canceled a second performance at the event the following weekend. Further news didn’t come until November of last year when Ocean teased a snippet of a new song on his Instagram Story.

She says that Gibbs spoke frequently with her about wanting to build a family together, but when the time came for him to step up to the plate, he no longer felt ready for the responsibility. Seeing as she wasn’t comfortable with terminating the pregnancy, she’s now taking care of their little one on her own and even included the baby in her music video earlier this year.

On “New Baby Mama,” Fox put her ex on blast for abandoning her and their family. At the same time, she shaded him over his feud with Benny The Butcher, whom she recently posed for photos with, much to fans’ surprise. It seems the content creator isn’t stopping there. As HipHopDX reports, her latest lyricist lover is Millyz, who she posted up with in coordinated outfits on Monday (January 29). On his account, the seasoned rhymer wrote, “Treacherous lil twin ” along with a collection of cute images. The first finds them posing in the mirror, FIT MAMI accentuating her ample chest under a white tank. Millyz was dressed similarly, though his jeans were a slightly lighter wash than hers.

Kid Cudi recently shouted out one of the rapper’s excellent live shows as inspiration for the direction of his new album.

But one thing fans aren’t praising is a new selfie Kendrick shared. The picture itself is pretty simple. Gypsy Rose Blanchard Celebrates Freedom With New Post-Prison Selfie

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison earlier this week after spending nearly eight years behind bars, and to celebrate, she hopped on Instagram to share her “First selfie of freedom.” The now 32-year-old woman’s highly disputed case has been thrust back into the spotlight amid her release, sparking further debate surrounding her conviction. Famously, Gypsy Rose’s mother Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard is said to have had Munchausen syndrome by proxy. She convinced her daughter and medical professionals that Gypsy Rose suffered from various physical and developmental disabilities for years, despite her being perfectly healthy. This resulted in frequent unnecessary and often painful procedures and treatments.

Years into the abuse, Gypsy Rose met a man named Nicholas Godejohn online, and they eventually developed a romantic relationship. She later enlisted his help to escape her mother’s mistreatment. “I wanted to be free of her hold on me,” she said during her former secret lover’s trial. “I talked him into it.” In June of 2015, Godejohn ventured to Springfield where Gypsy Rose and her mother lived, and stabbed Dee Dee Blanchard to death.

“That B*** is dead!” Gypsy Rose posted on Facebook before her mother’s body was discovered, bearing 17 stab wounds. She pled guilty to second-degree murder in July of 2016 and was later sentenced to 10 years. Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison. Gypsy Rose is now on parole and has been met with an outpouring of love and support from peers as she navigates her newfound freedom.

“The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,” her six-hour tell-all, airs on Lifetime in January of 2024. “I want to make sure that people in abusive relationships do not resort to murder,” she told People of the upcoming docuseries. “It may seem like every avenue is closed off but there is always another way. After a VHS-style home video of Carti spending time with his son went viral online, Iggy Azalea took to X to express how she felt about the father-son moment. “Its cool how you can fit damn near every visit into just one video Talented!” Azalea wrote in direct response to one post of the video. Azalea’s implication appears to be that Carti doesn’t spend enough time with Onyx and thus can fit all of his father-son time into a concise 2:40-long video.

However, fans on the whole weren’t taking Azalea’s side in the matter. “RESPECT CARTI HES OUR GLORIOUS KING,” one Carti fan wrote. “Probably cause you don’t let him hang out with him,” added another, directly addressing Azalea’s claims. “This was special for everybody and you had to ruin it,” lamented a third. Of course, Azalea’s die-hard fanbase quickly rushed to her defense, leading to a pitched battle of Carti stans and Iggy stans in the comments section.
