These days, it’s far more common for people in the entertainment industry to work out co-parenting situations than navigate long-term relationships with those they share kids with. Not all of their fans are supportive of “baby mama culture,” as it’s become called. Still, for some, it works better than settling for less or tolerating infidelity. As he remains behind bars, Fetty Wap is likely feeling grateful for the five women taking care of his six children. Among them is Love & Hip-Hop star Masika, who shares a seven-year-old with the “My Way” hitmaker.

Earlier this week, Masika didn’t take kindly to hearing The Breakfast Club host Jess Hilarious refer to her as Fetty’s “alleged” co-parent. “Allegedly! Who allegedly has a child by, ‘Who that rapper with the one eye?’” Masika asked, making fun of the comedian’s ignorance. “Nah b**ch, first of all, I have an almost eight-year-old child,” she publicly addressed Hilarious. “For you to sit here and talk about some, ‘allegedly’ have a child with her father… Everybody knows who my child’s father is, including you, and then you want to act like you don’t know who the f**k he is,” the reality starlet’s rant went on.

Masika then shared that she looked back at her text history with Hilarious, who reportedly asked her about men running in Fetty’s circle in 2016 that she was interested in. “Aren’t you allegedly pregnant by some Puerto Rican that’s prettier than you?” the former clapped back, referencing Jess’ recently confirmed pregnancy.

Interestingly, Masika is choosing to target Jess Hilarious’ appearance amid their spat, especially considering the media personality’s recent admission about Chadwick Boseman. As you may recall, she publicly came for the Black Panther star’s dramatic weight loss and rough appearance without knowing he was battling the cancer that ultimately took his life. Fetty Wap’s Baby Mama Reflects On Taking Daughter On Prison Visit To See Him

Fetty Wap’s six-year prison sentence was a big shock to much of the hip-hop community, as he will remain in prison until at least 2028. For those unaware, the New Jersey MC received a five-year prison sentence on drug charges related to a smuggling operation in New York. While many fans lamented this development, no one in his life feels the brunt of this incarceration more than his immediate family. Moreover, his baby mama, actress and entrepreneur Masika Kalysha, spoke with The Neighborhood Talk about the arrest and their handling of it. Specifically, she reflected on the possibility of their young daughter accompanying her to visit him in prison, which she’s still hesitant about.

“You know, it is still taking a lot to get used to,” Masika Kalysha remarked concerning Fetty Wap. “It’s the new norm, which I’m not ready to accept that. You know, and it’s just… my daughter, she’s seven. So it really affects her. But we’re working with it, we’re working together, they communicate very often. We’re just trying to figure out the healthiest way to manage this until he comes home.”

Furthermore, the interviewer asked Kalysha whether she thought of taking their daughter to jail to see him in person in that environment. “Only a hundred times,” the actress replied. “You know, it’s a big difference from taking your daughter to sold-out arenas to see her dad than taking her to an institution like that. But, you know, at the end of the day, that’s still her dad. So we’re gonna make it work, and he’ll be home soon. And y’all make sure to keep streaming his music so I can get my check,” she concluded with a laugh after agreeing that as long as their daughter’s happy with the outcome, she’ll fulfill her wishes when it comes to Fetty Wap.

Meanwhile, even when looking to after he’s released, the 32-year-old faced intense post-prison conditions in court. For example, authorities barred him from seeking parole until he completes five years of his sentence. In addition, he must fully disclose all financial dealings, including new activity at institutions such as account creation, and submit a DNA test to his parole officer upon release. Usually, Kim Kardashian is the one markedly being criticized for her online content. Now, however, her 9-year-old daughter North West is feeling the heat after channelling her apparent new idol, Ice Spice. This past weekend, the duo’s TikTok page lit up with videos of the young girl meeting the New York rapper, and shortly after, donning a curly ginger wig, oversized cartoon chain, and white sweatsuit in an attempt to look more like Isis Gaston.

As the clips of North and her friends dancing along to tracks like “In Ha Mood” and “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2,” were uploaded the online conversation surprisingly took a turn toward her father, Kanye West. In the past, the “Runaway” artist chiefly spoke about not wanting his little girl to use TikTok, causing serious contention between him and Kardashian. They seem to have come to an agreement in the time since in which the young content creator isn’t allowed to aimlessly scroll through the app, and their comment section remains blocked from public commentary.

“Kanye finna set the world on fire,” one Twitter user joked. Elsewhere, others suggested that the disgraced rapper got what was coming to him. “Everything that’s happening with North is Kanye’s fault. He had children with a woman who got famous from a sex tape,” someone else wrote. “It’s disgusting. If you don’t want a rachet child don’t have children with a rachet woman. Marry the type of woman you want your daughter to turn into.”

As social media discourse continues to come in, many of North’s previous uploads have been accordingly taken down from TikTok. One of her in costume still remains, stitching the original upload of her and Spice hanging out together. Because so little context was provided in the video’s captions, many viewers were confused about Kimye’s eldest’s new look, and if it would become a permanent thing. Thankfully, reality TV star Masika was finally able to offer an explanation on Monday (March 6).

Masika Offers an Explanation

“Today is ‘heroes and heritage day’ at their school,” she wrote in @theneighborhood talk’s comment section. “‘Students are invited to participate in a spirit-wear day inspired by February’s Black History Month, March’s Women’s History Month, and World Languages Week… Students are encouraged to dress in clothing celebrating their heroes or heritage.’”

Masika’s explanation went on, “‘From a lab coat representing a prominent scientist to culturally authentic attire to a jersey of an admired athlete…’ She chose Ice Spice, it’s really not that deep y’all.
