Kylie Jenner’s Sprinter Hard Seltzers “Ripping Off” Travis Scott’s Cacti Brand: Report

Kylie Jenner is the youngest of her sisters, but that hasn’t stopped her from amassing a net worth most can only dream of. Not only does the mother of two occasionally appear on the family’s reality show (which she’s been a part of since childhood), but she also has several brands, including Kylie Cosmetics, Skin, and Baby who’ve launched countless products over the years to help amass her fortune. As Daily Mail reports, Jenner’s attorneys trademarked her name for dozens of items in June 2019. Among them were “spirits; liquor; wine; alcoholic cocktail mixes; prepared alcoholic cocktail and prepared wine cocktails.” Interestingly, it wasn’t until February 2023 when an application for Sprinter, her new hard seltzer line came in. As the outlet notes, this is being perceived as a direct shot at her baby daddy, Travis Scott, who’s planning to re-launch his Cacti drinks later this month.

La Flame filed a trademark for his hard beverage in June 2020 and launched it in March 2021, amid his relationship with Jenner. Following backlash from that year’s Astroworld Festival Tragedy, production ceased, leaving fans thirsty for more. Cacti 2.0 is arriving on shelves on March 15, not long before his ex’s Sprinter drinks will go on sale (March 21). “Kylie ripped his idea plain and simple,” a source, allegedly close to Scott, told the outlet.

“It wasn’t until they split that she got serious about this and she did it out of spite,” they further pointed out. “At the time when Kylie’s team got this trademarked, they got everything trademarked. She requested a trademark for dozens of products – leaving it open to creating any kind of business she wanted in the future.”

Cardi B’s Blonde Hair Causes Controversy, She Denies “Watching B**ches” To Copy Them

Even if she does follow Charlamagne Tha God’s advice to forego releasing her sophomore album, Cardi B will still find a way to stay in the spotlight. The mother of two became a popular stripper before she blew up on the hip-hop scene, and she’s now established herself as a prominent figure in the fashion world while also adding a few acting credits to her resume. As she navigates what seems to be another breakup with Offset, Cardi is making some changes to her appearance – namely switching out her signature, jet black hair for a platinum blonde wig that’s brought forth renewed confidence in the femcee.

Earlier this weekend, Bardi’s Instagram Story lit up with new videos showing off her bold appearance change. In one clip, she wraps herself in a plush, white fur coat, carrying a small black purse and smiling at her reflection in the mirror. Elsewhere, the bodacious bombshell drops it low in a multi-patterned ensemble, proudly carrying a luxurious Birkin bag while strutting toward the camera. It’s always nice to see Cardi feeling herself, but it wasn’t long before the Barbz tried to break her down by accusing her of copying her latest look from Nicki Minaj.

In her usual fashion, Kulture and Wave’s mom didn’t hold back when responding to discourse about her. “It’s an archive piece in my f**king closet, shut the f**k up,” she said of the coat causing a stir online. “The f**k? Y’all always watching me, always tryna find some s**t. I don’t give a f**k about these b**ches like y’all be giving a f**k about me. I don’t watch these b**ches, b**ches can’t dress to me.”

In the comments on @theneighborhoodtalk’s post, some are rushing to her defence. “Nobody is seeing Cardi in the fashion department, like what are we talking about here?” one Instagram user asked. “God if you bless me to be rich, I promise I won’t be online worrying about what others think of me 😩😩😂,” another person quipped. Beyonce’s “RENAISSANCE” Visuals “Copy” Hajime Sorayama’s Artwork, He Suggests

When Beyonce’s RENAISSANCE album arrived on the scene in the summer of 2022, it provided a much-needed shakeup that the industry was waiting for. The disco-infused project was mostly well-received, though a few artists took issue with samples of their work appearing throughout the Houston native’s songs, including Kelis. Queen B responded to the hate by taking out the “Milkshake” interpolation, but we’re curious to see how she’ll respond to Hajime Sorayama’s recent Instagram post about her “ALIEN SUPERSTAR”-esque looks on her tour that is notably similar to his past artwork.

On Monday (December 10), the renowned artist’s social media lit up with a post comparing one of her most futuristic looks to some of his designs. “Yo @beyonce 🤘 You should have asked me ‘officially’ so that I could make much better work for you as like my man @theweeknd ✊,” Sorayama wrote in his caption. Within the past 24 hours, the comment section has flooded with people criticizing the Japanese artist for seemingly trying to take credit for a style that he didn’t necessarily create.

Hajime Sorayama Calls Out Beyonce

“Like you didn’t take direct inspiration from ‘Metropolis’?” one person asked, referencing the 1927 film. As TMZ reports, Sorayama previously connected with The Weeknd to create some art for his record-breaking tour, and was seemingly hoping for Bey to approach with a similar opportunity. It’s unclear if he plans to take legal action or is harbouring negative feelings toward the “Halo” hitmaker, but we’re curious to see how she’ll respond to her fellow creative, if at all.

Based on the latest numbers coming in from the box office, it looks like most of the BeyHive has already made their way to check out the RENAISSANCE concert film. The music-filled experience has now dropped down from the top spot, with an astounding 75% decrease in sales. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Parlae Slams Fat Joe After He Accuses Dem Franchise Boyz Of Biting His Sound

It looks like some relationships are straining between Fat Joe and Dem Franchise Boyz following the former’s accusations of biting. Moreover, while addressing Boosie Badazz’s own issues with this, the Terror Squad mogul singled out the Atlanta collective. Furthermore, he thinks that their track “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It”- plus Young Dro’s “Shoulder Lean”- borrowed heavily from his hit “Lean Back” without his permission. Still, now one of the Boyz, Parlae, clapped back at the New York MC via an Instagram video on Wednesday (November 22). Not only did he deny these claims, but even brought some regional conflict into the conversation.

“I just seen a clip of Fat Joe’s interview talking about n***as biting his music and taking his style and he’s gonna sue n***as,” Parlae remarked. “I’m from the South, n***a. We don’t bite New York n***as. We didn’t hear ‘Lean Back’ and say, ‘We gonna make a song like that.’ N***a, we said ‘lean,’ not ‘lean back.’ How the f**k we bit your lyrics, n***a? If you feel like that, get your motherf***ing sue on, n***a! I ain’t bite no motherf***ing Fat Joe.”

In addition, in this video’s caption, Parlae also took aim at D4L member Fabo, another Atlanta rap team. For those unaware, these groups actually fought previously over who popularized and established snap music, of which they were both important exponents. “1st it was @iamfabo now it’s @fatjoe [facepalm emoji],” he captioned. “Which 1 of yall was responsible for LEAN WIT IT, I Forgot [thinking emoji]. I Guess when you use the same word as a person and your song become a hit, you got the idea from them [shrug emoji].”

Meanwhile, this is what Fat Joe had to say about this situation, which sparked Parlae’s response. “If you use somebody’s music and you sample it and you don’t clear it and you don’t give them no money, they can sue you,” he stated. “Me, personally, I have never sued nobody for that. And trust me, they done had ‘Make it rain, make it, make it, make it rain.’ Or ‘Lean wit it, rock wit it.’ My s**t’s been jacked legendary. ‘Shoulder lean.’ My s**t been jacked!” For more news and the latest updates on these artists, check back in with HNHH.

Latto Responds To Speculations That She’s Biting Sexyy Red’s Style

Lately, Latto has been regularly called out for “copying” people’s swag. One commonly known person that she’s been accused of copying is none other than Ice Spice. Ice Spice herself even called this out, and appeared to take a shot at Latto in a previous song. “Now she all on the floor when I kick in the door / How you mad I do less ’cause you gotta do more?” Spice rapped on, “How High?” Now, Latto is in the spotlight once again for appearing to copy one of her peers. This time, Sexyy Red seemingly had something to say, and Latto has had enough. The “Put It On Da Floor,” rapper took to X to address the speculation and shut it down. It’s clear she’s trying to put an end to the rumors, and has been responding by proving that she’s been wearing True Religion for as long as she can remember.

“The fact that you’re trying to prove that you was wearing True is crazy,” one user tweeted. Latto quoted it with her own response and said, “No what’s crazy is y’all accuse me of copying any and every thing and when I prove y’all wrong I’m doing tewww muchhhh.” Another person chimed in and said, “the way nobody said any names though. you really are a ditzy ho thinking everything is about you.” “Yall hoes def not fast… I was addressing Shaderoom comments under a post of ME f**k is u talm bout dizzy b**ch if u gone be messy at least KEEP UP.”

Latto Says She’s Accused Of Copying Any And Everything

As HNHH previously reported, Latto and her friends posted a video rocking True Religion jeans and twerking in the mirror. Sexyy Red, a True Religion jean wearer, took notice and put an interesting post on her story that caused people to speculate. The story was a repost of a fan saying “”All these celebrities wasn’t wearing @truereligion until @sexyyred came out.” After TheShadeRoom posted Latto’s video to their IG, she took a stance. “They be knowing what they doing lol, very weird,” Latto wrote. “If [you] not from Atlanta this not for [you]!”

Some fans took her side, other took Sexyy Reds’. “That posts should’ve been left without a response,” one person wrote. “St. Louis was huge on true religion back then too. So now what? They are saying since she’s been wearing it recently people are wearing it.” “Posting pics from WAY back in middle school don’t count Latto lol but ok,” another said. “This so stupid and the gag is Latto & her crew were going to a throwback Atlanta themed bday party for 21 savage,” another user explained. “So she threw it back to when EVERYBODY wore true religion. Please believe me when I say NOBDODY is trying to emulate Sexyy Red.” Thoughts? Let us know on HNHH!

Fan Shares Video Of Latto Reportedly Stealing Sexyy Red’s Dance Moves

A fan on Twitter has accused Latto of stealing her stage presence from Sexyy Red, and they have the receipts ready. According to HipHopDX, in a now-deleted tweet, the user shared two clips of the two rappers side-by-side where they appear to be doing some very similar choreography during their performances. Fans were quick to point out that it isn’t the first time she’s been accused of copying someone. Earlier this year clips were shared to try and convince fans that she was copying Ice Spice as well.

In a new clip though, fans seem even more convinced Latto could be copying. “Latto doing Sexyy Red emotes & mimicking her stage presence is the most cringeworthy shit I ever seen. That girl may really be going through something mentally to just mimic whatever she feels is hot at the moment. Imma start calling her DITTO from now on,” the caption attached to the videos said. While she has stated that she will defend herself from any copying allegations, Latto is yet to comment on this situation. Watch the chips below and see if there is copying.

Latto Accused Of Copying Sexyy Red While On Stage

A few weeks ago Latto became the first rapper to hit number one on the Hot 100 this year. She collaborated with BTS member and K-Pop superstar Jung Kook on a song called “Seven.” The track went on to debut at the top spot on the charts breaking a long streak where no rappers had been there. Lil Durk and J. Cole’s “All My Life” and Drake’s “Search & Rescue” both managed to peak at number 2 but were held off by Morgan Wallen’s smash hit “Last Night.”

The beef between Latto and Ice Spice didn’t end with the copying allegations. When Ice Spice released the deluxe edition of her “Like..?” EP last month it featured numerous shots at the rapper in new songs. Do you believe that Latto is copying Sexyy Red as evidenced in the newly connected clips? Let us know in the comment section below.

Kodak Black Addresses Fake Love & Not Having Friends On IG Live

Kodak Black recently rambled on Instagram live about having fake friends and love in the industry. Moreover, he spoke quickly and bluntly about his issues and his emotions concerning others in the rap game. Also, as he looked down at his phone camera with seemingly a joint between his fingers, he expressed frustration in a pretty calm way.

“I got no homeboys, I ain’t got no friends, I don’t need no friends. F**k ya, b***h. All you n***as wanna be like me anyway. All you n***as be fake like you f**k with me, like I’m your dawg. [You] be behind my back, hatin’ on me, want my drip, want my energy. [You] wanna be able to rap like me, wanna be able to stunt like me, wanna be able to act like me, wanna be able to walk or talk like me. Know what I’m saying? Since I was young, since I was a git, since I was a baby. I’ve seen every one of you f**k n***as be around me trying to imitate me and duplicate me. You know what I’m saying? F**k ya, b***h.”

Praise For Kodak Black Despite Fake Love

While Kodak might feel justified in his issues and indignation, he did recently receive glowing praise from a leader of the culture. Furthermore, Charlamagne Tha God recently called Kodak the “GOAT,” comparing him to Kendrick Lamar in the same light. “I look at Kodak Black the same way I look at Kendrick Lamar,” the host and commentator remarked. “I’m not even joking. I feel like they’re both two different levels of prolific. They’re telling similar stories, just from different places. They’re just two different versions of the same kid from the hood.”

Meanwhile, Yak actually responded to Charlamagne’s comments, and the Kendrick connection isn’t flimsy given the Florida rapper’s contributions to his album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. “APPRECIATE EVERYBODY,” he posted on Instagram after Charlamagne’s take went viral. “MEANS SOOOO MUCH TO ME.” Even though some people might not see the comparison, it still reflects the impactful, albeit controversial, career of the “Super Gremlin’ MC. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Kodak Black and fake industry love.
