Jeezy & Jeannie Mai Custody Battle: Rapper’s Ex-Wife Reportedly Limiting Monaco’s Time With Him

It seems like just yesterday when Jeannie Mai and Jeezy were other people’s “couple goals.” Now, the exes are in a custody battle over their two-year-old daughter, Monaco, though the Southern rhymer seems to be slightly more agreeable than he was a few days ago. Earlier this month, we reported that Jeezy was seeking primary custody of the young girl. We now know that he and his attorneys are asking for joint legal and physical custody with his ex-wife. However, he’s not necessarily loving how she’s handling the situation.

Documents obtained by @theneighborhoodtalk reveal that in Jeezy’s “renewed motion,” he accuses Mai of withholding Monaco from him. Apparently, the 46-year-old has only seen his daughter eight times so far this year. “The rapper says Jeannie attempted to establish a visitation agreement, but hasn’t held up her end and currently hasn’t shared her legal address with the rapper,” the gossip blog reports.

“The Petitioner [Jeezy] never imagined that he would have no idea where the minor child is, or that his parenting time and contact with the parties minor child would be restricted by the Respondent [Jeannie],” legal documents state. Elsewhere, in an incident on April 2nd, a caretaker went to Mai’s residence to pick up Monaco for her scheduled visitation with her father. “The caretaker claims they sat outside for hours before later realizing that Jeannie had taken all her belongings and vacated the home,” new allegations reveal.

Even with all the turmoil unfolding in his romantic life at this time, Jeezy’s not letting it keep him from getting in his creative bag. Blac Chyna & Tyga Reportedly Resolve Custody Battle

Things are looking up for Blac Chyna and her ex Tyga, as the two of them have finally settled their longwinded custody dispute over their son, King Cairo. According to sources who reportedly spoke with TMZ, they resolved things amicably. Now, both parents will have rights when it comes to making decisions for King’s sake.

Blac Chyna will spend weekends with the 11-year-old, while Tyga will care for him for the remainder of the week. Additionally, the court is said to have ordered them not to speak badly about one another around their son. While this is sure to mitigate some of the tension that’s been brewing between them in recent months, they’ll also be enrolling in a program that will monitor their communication regarding co-parenting. Further, Tyga won’t have to pay child support, which Chyna requested back in August when she filed for custody of King.

Things got messy after Chyna filed, with her mother Tokyo Toni weighing in on Instagram. “@tyga you should be paying child support,” she wrote in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. “What kind of man are you? She never asked you for a dime her son. You should be ashamed of yourself.” Tyga later responded to Blac Chyna’s request, claiming that there’s no reason for him to pay child support when he cares for King during the majority of the week and pays for his schooling.

Tyga eventually filed for sole custody of the child, and Chyna revealed that she would have preferred to work things out without getting the courts involved. Teyana Taylor & Iman Shumpert’s Daughters Spending Time With Dad Before Custody Decision

Before 2023, Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor weren’t at all on our radar in terms of couples who might be facing trouble in paradise. If this year has taught us anything, though, it’s that we don’t know what we don’t know, and anything can be taking place behind closed doors. Despite being #Goals to their fans for years now, divorce filings reveal that Taylor felt Shumpert has the tendencies of a narcissist and was struggling with insecurity due to her busy schedule while also berating her for taking time off to be a mother and heal her body after giving birth to their two daughters.

Currently, the former lover’s divorce is in the custody agreement stages. Radar Online reports that a recent hearing included a request from the athlete’s attorney to schedule a set time with him, 7-year-old Junie, and 3-year-old Rue. The court agreed that Shumpert should see his kids 4-6 days out of the month, and for now, he’ll be picking them up from Taylor’s house, where they’ll return at the end of his weekends. The holiday season belongs to the vocalist this year, though this agreement is only in place until a judge determines who gets primary custody of the girls.

Tyga Completes Court-Ordered Parenting Class Amid Blac Chyna Custody Battle

Earlier today, it was reported that Tyga has officially completed his court-ordered online parenting class amid he and Blac Chyna’s custody battle over their son, King Cairo. The news comes only days after Blac Chyna reportedly completed her own parenting class, a requirement for custody disputes. The reality star filed for joint custody of the 11-year-old back in July. She also requested that the artist start paying her child support, claiming that she’s yet to see any since the child was born.

He fired back, claiming that there’s no reason he should have to pay her. According to him, he cares for King Cairo throughout most of the week, in addition to paying $40K per year for the child’s schooling. In response to Chyna’s filing, Tyga also filed for full custody of their son. Blac Chyna claimed that she didn’t know where his filing was coming from, calling it “sad.” She further expressed interest in developing a healthy co-parenting relationship with the performer, as she feels it’s what’s best for the elementary schooler.

DomiNque Perry has taken to social media, clarifying a post she made following Keke Palmer’s abuse allegations against Darius Jackson. The Insecure actress, and mother of Sarunas Jackson’s daughter Zen, shared a meme of Michael Jackson eagerly eating popcorn. Some social media users perceived the post as shade towards Palmer, as it seemingly made light of the disturbing accusations. Perry made it clear that this was not her intention, revealing she was trying to “laugh to keep from crying.”

She shared a lengthy statement on the matter on her Instagram Story. Her post describes how she would never intentionally laugh in the faces of domestic violence victims. “I would never laugh at ANYONE that is subject to domestic abuse female or male,” she wrote. “As it’s known abuse comes in different definitions, silent and physical. Only the people enduring such behavior truly understand the effect. Women have been manipulated, abused, lied on for centuries, and put their head down for the fear of not being believed. We need to stop being afraid.”

Perry continued, citing her own alleged experiences with domestic abuse. “I may not be at the highest platform in my career just yet to be heard and/or supported by the public, but whenever that time comes, everyone will listen,” she wrote. Following her message, it came out that Sarunas is currently fighting to have their daughter stay in California, despite Perry having raised her in Texas since she was born. Perry wants the case to get dismissed, claiming that Sarunas’ visitation of the child is “dependent on when he expresses a desire to see her.”

She also says that “despite the emotional volatility and intimidation that [Sarunas] has directed towards” her, she’s continued “fostering a positive co-parenting relationship with [Sarunas] because [she knows] that is in Zen’s best interest.” All of this also follows Keke Palmer’s mother speaking out against Sarunas. On a new episode of Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast, the mother of two spoke candidly about her situation with the West Coast lyricist. “For the first four years of Kingy’s life, I had him Monday through Friday. And then that’s when I had became pregnant with Dream. And it was like, the school and [being] pregnant and [in] a new relationship — it was a lot for me.
