Rapper 50 Cent and actress Vivica A. Fox were once entangled in a two-year relationship that seemed to be pretty serious. Despite them dating over a decade ago, Fiddy seemingly left a lasting impression on his ex-girlfriend, who referred to him as the “love of her life” during a recent interview. The multi-part sit-down between Vivica and VladTV went live with different sections of their interview being uploaded on different days and, thus, people didn’t get the full story right away.

When Vivica got done talking about her fond memories of 50 Cent, she praised the rapper’s current girlfriend, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines, and said that she hopes they end up getting married one day. “I’m glad that’s so over. He now has a girlfriend that’s beautiful, that’s hot, and I’m happy for him. I hope he puts a ring on her finger and they live happily ever after,” said the actress in a new clip from the interview. “I don’t wish him any ill will.”

Last week, Cuban Link shared some funny violin emojis in response to Vivica’s words, shading the actress by saying everyone needs to “respect our elders” after the situation started trending on social media. She’s singing a different tune now that she’s got the full story.

“Humorous comment. Bad timing that’s all,” wrote Cuban Link on Vivica’s post. “Now with knowing all of the information, it’s no [sic] so funny! I take the blame for the all the commotion! I apologize.”

As Kyrie Irving was leaving the court last night in Boston, a fan threw a water bottle at his head. Kyrie ended up avoiding the bottle although it led to quite the scene in the stands as security and offers looked for the perpetrator. Eventually, a man was escorted out of the arena in handcuffs all while being permanently banned from the arena. It was yet another incident involving rowdy NBA fans and as you can imagine, the players have had enough.

Now, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the fan in question will be arraigned on Tuesday, and he could be in for some serious punishment. Charania notes that the fan faces an assault & battery with a dangerous weapon charge, which is pretty severe. 

The reporter also said that a second Celtics fan was arrested as they allegedly assaulted a police officer. Needless to say, Celtics fans did not conduct themselves very well last night, and the entire league is paying attention. With incidents involving other NBA stars like Russell Westbrook and Trae Young, the league is looking into incidents all around the NBA, and it seems like they have no issue taking legal action.

Hopefully, the fans start to behave and we can continue with what’s proven to be an incredible start to the playoffs.

Posthumous albums always make for a fascinating topic of discussion for a variety of reasons. Depending on how far along an artist was in the recording process, it can sometimes run the risk of feeling disjointed or constructed after the fact. It also runs the risk of relying on an abundance of guest appearances, which can make the album in question feel like more of a compilation. 

In the case of Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, executive produced by the legendary 50 Cent, it would appear that a delicate balance was struck. Though there were indeed several features lining the album, the album actually managed to feel like a Pop Smoke project, albeit one that found the late rapper exploring a variety of different hip-hop styles. 

While the album was a runaway success, absolutely dominating the charts to this day, it would appear that politics and behind-the-scenes developments were enough to shift 50 Cent away from Pop Smoke’s team. During a recent interview with Kris Kaylin, he opened up about the possibility of reprising his role on Pop Smoke’s next posthumous drop.

“Steven was originally Pop’s manager and the label person he was signed to,” explains Fif. “He spoke to me about the new record. I’m not sure if I’ll participate with that record. I just wanted to make sure that his record did what it was supposed to. My interaction with Pop was that he was looking at me like I could tell him the right way to go and everything would work based on what I was saying. It’s unfortunate that it actually happened. It’s like the other side of it — when I’m coming up early on, I’m so connected to the environment that everything in the environment I’m subjected to the same.

“So even with my success in music, I’m still subjected to everything the neighborhood is subjected to,” he continues. “Cause of who I’m standing next to. In Pop’s scenario, personally, he told me he wanted to take his mom to an award show. Outside of producing the record and having it perform well, I did all the promotion for that record to have it work. They would have put it out and you’d have to find it out of basic interest.”

Montrezl Harrell was brought in by the Los Angeles Lakers this season to be a player who can make a huge difference while coming off of the bench. Harrell had a solid few seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, so it only made sense to bring in Harrell who is known for being a gritty player who can grab rebounds and get buckets whenever you need him to. 

Unfortunately, Harrell hasn’t been getting the playing time everyone expected him to get. For instance, last night in Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns, Harrell was only on the court for five minutes, which is well below his averages. This has been a trend throughout the playoffs and fans are wondering what’s up. As it turns out, Harrell is also frustrated by the lack of playing time, as shown in his recent tweet where he said “Worst fucking feeling is wasted time!”

With the series tied at two games apiece, it will be interesting to see if coach Frank Vogel makes any adjustments and adds Harrell to the rotation. After all, the Lakers need big guys on the court, especially with Anthony Davis’ injury uncertainty.

Pooh Shiesty is not with all rumors surrounding his name. Over the last few weeks, the buzzing Memphis rapper’s name has been attached to a few farfetched stories that could potentially damage his character. As he seeks to establish himself as the self-proclaimed “richest shooter,” his street smarts have been called into question– especially after this weekend, a video surfaced from the rapper’s appearance at Miami club KOD, where somebody claimed they hit a lick off him for $40,000.

A video has been circulating of Pooh Shiesty walking inside the club, checking his pockets as a fan nearby narrated, “They hit him for his money, they jacked Pooh Shiesty. They took his money!” There have also been reports that shots were fired inside the club, which have not been confirmed. After the clips started going viral, Shiesty took to Instagram to call out the so-called “false allegations.”

“False allegations nothing never been took from me,” wrote the rapper on his page, speaking out against blogs including The Shade Room and The Neighborhood Talk, who shared videos of the alleged lick.

Kyrie Irving is one of the best point guards in the NBA and while he is extremely talented, he is also very polarizing. There are a lot of fans who don’t like him and many of those fans just so happen to be in Boston. As it stands, the Brooklyn Nets are taking on the Celtics in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, and last night, Kyrie’s team took a 3-1 series lead as the series heads back to Brooklyn where they will look to put the final nail in the coffin.

After last night’s game, Kyrie was leaving the court when all of a sudden, a water bottle was thrown at his head by a fan. Eventually, the fan was escorted out of the building, arrested, and banned from TD Garden. After the game, Irving got to respond to the incident, noting just how disrespectful it was and that fans treat the players like they are animals.

“It’s unfortunate that sports have come to this crossroads,” Irving said. “You’re seeing a lot of old ways come up. It’s been that way in history in terms of entertainment, performers and sports for a long time. Just underlying racism and treating people like they’re in a human zoo, throwing stuff at people, saying things.

“There is a certain point where it gets to be too much so I called it out. I just wanted to keep it strictly basketball but you see people feel very entitled out here. They pay for their ticket, great. I’m grateful that they are coming in to watch a great performance but we’re not at the theater. We are not throwing tomatoes and other random stuff at the people that are performing. It’s too much and it’s a reflection on us as a whole when you have fans acting like that. Hopefully, people learn their lessons from being banned or however many years of being arrested, but it’s always going to be an occasion.”
