Kawhi Leonard’s Game-Worn 2013 NBA Finals Jersey Hits Auction Block

Kawhi Leonard’s time with the San Antonio Spurs came to an abrupt end in 2018 although that doesn’t mean his Spurs career was all bad. In 2013 and 2014, Leonard made it to the NBA Finals with the Spurs, and he even won a title in 2014. That same year, he won Finals MVP which cemented him as one of the best defensive players in the league.

The year before that, Leonard faced disappointment as his Spurs lost to the Miami Heat in seven games in the Finals. In Game 6, the Spurs had the lead late but Ray Allen’s jump shot kept the Heat alive, ultimately forcing that Game 7. Now, Leonard’s game-worn jersey from Game 6 and 7 of that 2013 series is available at auction through Lelands.

This Spurs jersey features their signature black and silver away color scheme. There is an NBA Finals patch over the heart as well, which helps let people know what time period the jersey came from. While the starting bid was set for $5,000, the jersey is now at a highest bid of over $11,000. If you are looking to cop this collector’s item, you will have until Friday to place your bid.

There is no telling what the jersey will end up going for, although there is no denying just how expensive these jerseys are now, compared to maybe five or 10 years ago.

Nicki Minaj’s Adorable Son Is Already Trying To Stand And Walk By Himself

Late last year, Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Perry had their first child. The duo has kept their son away from the public eye as they’ve only shared few images of him with the world. Furthermore, they’ve yet to reveal his legal name, with Minaj only calling him Papa Bear when sharing pictures or videos. That includes a new video of the eight-month-old attempting to walk and stand on his own.

“You trying to do all of that today?” Minaj affectionately says in the video. “You’re not trying to do all of that today?” she added. “Am I bothering you? You had it?” The rapper then pretends to speak for Papa Bear in the video. “Mama I had it, leave me alone already please,” she says in the video. “I don’t got time for all of that mama.”

The post arrives after a streak of good moments for Minaj. She recently released her 2009 mixtape, Beam Me Up Scotty, to streaming services, adding three new songs. It eventually debuted at No. 2 on the album charts, becoming the highest-charting re-released mixtape by a rapper and the highest-debuting female rap mixtape in history.

You can watch the video of Papa Bear above.

SZA Lights Up The Timeline With More Risqué Snaps

SZA shared her debut studio album CTRL with the world back in 2017 to critical and commercial success. Since its debut, fans have been eagerly awaiting a follow-up effort from the New Jersey native. She began the rollout of her yet-to-be-named sophomore album last summer with the release of its first single, “Hit Different” with Ty Dolla Sign.

She then followed up with “Good Days” on Christmas Day later that year, quickly becoming her first top ten single as a solo artist. As she continues to go through the motions with her label TDE ahead of its release, she’s been keeping fans well-entertained on social media, particularly with her stunning mirror selfies. She shared a series of sultry snaps today, showing off her new red locks and some new ink.

The Grammy-nominated artist songstress shared a series of two photos and a video showing off her new red-toned locks on Instagram. She looked stunning in a black cutout leotard as she posed in the mirror, capturing multiple angles of the gorgeous look. She appears to be on the set of something, which many fans speculate could be the music video for her next single previewed at the end of the “Good Days” visual.

After being up for just one hour on her page Sunday (May 30), the post managed to garner nearly 1.1 million likes. She added in a meme from the popular Cartoon Network animated series Ed Edd n Eddy before completing the post with a snap of some new ink.

In other SZA news, as mentioned briefly, she recently took to social media again to air out some qualms with her label TDE. She claimed to hate her label “so much” before subsequently defending CEO Punch, claiming “he really fights for me.”

Peso Peso Puts On For Texas City With New Project “El Patron”

It’s not everyday that we’re blessed with rap talent out of Galveston County, but that’s soon about to change for the better thanks to a new burgeoning emcee by the name of Peso Peso arriving straight out of Texas City, Texas.

He’s here to deliver a new album, El Patron, so keep scrolling to get a preview of what he’ll be bringing to the game.

The 10-track project keeps features to a bare minimum, only including The Real Drippy on a trap-laced track called “Blooda” and The Sauce Factory’s head honcho Sauce Walka on LP standout “Reminiscing.” Other spots on the album worth noting include the album’s banging opener “Flip Phone” and the head-thumping “Andale” which shows his pride as a Mexican-American based off the song’s title alone. Even though Peso Peso’s lyrics heard throughout don’t exactly prove he’s put the street life behind him — album cuts like “Where You Been At” actually suggest the opposite — it is worth noting that it’s all on wax. Well, we hope.

TSF boasts an impressive roster of emcees that are sure to remind us yet again that the South has something to say. That may be even more true in 2021, and we’re just glad to see guys like Peso Peso giving those trying to come up in Galveston County something to believe in. Major props to Texas City!

Give a listen to El Patron by Peso Peso right now on all streaming platforms. We’ve provided a link for your listening pleasure below, so give the album a few plays, get your opinions ready and then let us know what you think down in the comments section:

Chad Johnson Leaves Generous $1,000 Tip At Houston Restaurant

Chad Johnson has consistently been extremely generous over the years when it comes to tipping at restaurants. Whenever he goes out to dine, you can be sure that he is going to tip well over the standard percentage. When you have been a professional athlete for so many years, you can afford to be that kind to random people, and there is no denying that his efforts are appreciated amongst those who benefit.

Recently, Johnson was in Houston, Texas where he visited the Turkey Leg Hut and gave out one of his signature tips. Despite only having a $4 bill, he decided to tip $1,000. He then posted the bill on his Twitter page with the caption, “Proverb 11:25.”

“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed,” the proverb reads. Needless to say, Johnson has dedicated his life to being generous with his money and you can’t help but love what he is doing to better people’s lives. We can only imagine how the employees reacted upon seeing such a massive gesture.

With Johnson’s past random acts of kindness in mind, we’re almost positive he won’t be stopping this trend anytime soon. Regardless, these efforts are appreciated, especially when you take the current economic reality into consideration.

Travis Scott & Kylie Jenner Play At The Park Before Taking Stormi On Target Date

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their bundle of joy Stormi back in February of 2018. The 20-year-old reality star kept her pregnancy a secret during the entire nine months, although rumors began flying about her potential bun in the oven months in advance. As for Travis and Kylie, they called it quits on their romance back in October of 2019.

Despite the split, they vocalized their main concern was raising Stormi in a healthy and loving environment. They’ve also maintained a pretty close relationship since their split–so much so that many have speculated they are officially back together. Kylie recently dispelled rumors that they were in an open relationship while not confirming whether they were even together. Whatever their status is, the two seemed to be enjoying each other’s company while playing together at the park and taking Stormi on a Target date.

Kylie shared a video to her Instagram story on Saturday (May 30) of her and the Astroworld artist goofing off on a playground together. In a subsequent snap, Stormi and her father can be seen inside a Target as he embraces the toddler.

As mentioned briefly, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan recently came forward to deny that she and Travis were in an open relationship. “You guys really just make up anything,” Jenner wrote. “I’m not discrediting anyone who is in an open relationship but it’s just careless and disrespectful to throw this narrative out there without knowing what’s true.”

Of course, as it stands, her relationship status with Scott remains unknown.

Swizz Beatz Explained Why Pop Smoke Did Not Appear On DMX’s Posthumous Album

DMX’s posthumous album, Exodus, arrived more than a month after the rapper’s tragic death. It was his most collaborative effort to date, featuring some of the most popular names from past and present, including Jay-Z, Nas, Usher, The Lox, and Griselda. One person missing was Pop Smoke. But in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Swizz Beatz, who executive produced the album, explained why was the late rapper was not featured on Exodus.

“They used the verse already. I know X wouldn’t want an old verse,” Swizz said. “We fought for it,” adding that the verse was “out of nowhere.” Pop Smoke was set to appear on “Money Money Money” but Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo eventually replaced him. Swizz continued, “It was two verses and both of them was used. We went to get another verse and it was used.” The famed producer then explained why he selected the Memphis native for the song.

“I just put Moneybagg on the song,” he said. “Not that they the same energy, but they the same demographic. X wanted to touch that part too.” He added, “I’m not mad at it. I like Moneybagg verse better anyway.”

You can watch the full interview in the video above.

A Shooting At Boosie Badazz’s Music Video Set Left One Man Dead

For the second time in a year, Boosie Badazz was caught in the midst of gunfire. According to TMZ, shots rang out while the rapper and his crew were filming a music video in Hunstville, Alabama. Footage captured the ordeal, showing Boosie and company standing comfortably beside each other on the 200-block of Binford Drive when the gunfire breaks out. People in the crowd immediately scatter and make a break for it in search of safety. TMZ added that Huntsville police told the publication that they responded to the call about gunshots around 4:30 PM on Saturday, and upon their arrival, officers said they saw between 50 and 100 people running from the scene.

Unfortunately, the shooting killed one man. Randall Strong, Jr., 20, was transported to the hospital. While he was originally listed in critical condition, CBS News19 later reported that he died from his injuries. Police said Christopher Kwan Freeman, 22, turned himself in early Sunday morning. He was charged with murder and booked into the Madison County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

It was just six months ago that Boosie was wounded in a Dallas shooting. He was seated in a sprinter van at a strip mall called Big T’s Plaza when someone opened fire on the van. Boosie suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was quickly taken to a hospital to be treated for his injury.
