Drake Trolls Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj Invites Podcaster To Perform Throwback Hit

Drake still has yet to respond to the shade thrown at him by his “Poetic Justice” collaborator Kendrick Lamar with a diss track of his own. This is leaving some to wonder if he’ll ever have any bars to spit about what went down between them. Interestingly, the father of one is still very active on social media. Specifically, he wasn’t afraid to poke fun at another opp of his – Joe Budden. On Saturday (March 30), Drizzy’s Instagram Story lit up with a snapshot of the podcaster wearing some seriously baggy sweatpants.

To complete his fit, Budden added a black hoodie, a shiny puffer jacket in the same colour, crisp white sneakers and a hat that reads, “FREE.” The Canadian’s trolling comes after his most recent performance in New York City, where he got some frustrations off his chest during “Energy.” On the picture of JB, Drake wrote, “What’s the vibes NY?!?” suggesting he was on the hunt for a fun way to spend his Easter weekend.

While Drake continues to troll Budden, Nicki Minaj is surprisingly putting their differences aside to show him love. The Queen of Rap invited her fellow artist to perform during her concert in New Jersey recently, specifically requesting “Pump It Up.” When the 43-year-old shared the news on his internet show, co-hosts and fans were disappointed in Budden for turning down the incredible opportunity. “I ain’t hype no more,” he simply said.

Chrisean Rock Attack Left James Wright Chanel Traumatized & Sleepless, He Reveals

Back in November, Chrisean Rock was invited to join Tamar Braxton onstage at her show in Baltimore, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The Baddies star reportedly grew frustrated after being ushered off the stage by venue staff, as she was under the impression she’d be allowed to perform. As a result, she allegedly took her anger out on background singer James Wright Chanel by punching him in the face.

Chanel, who describes himself as an “innocent bystander,” has since confirmed that the alleged attack caused serious damage to his teeth. He’s also pressed charges against Chrisean. During a recent appearance on The Jst Us Podcast, Chanel reflected on the debacle, revealing that it continues to have a negative impact on his mental health.

“I be getting emotional when I talk about this,” he began. “I’m still trying to figure out why this happened. Why did this happen to me? I wasn’t in an argument with anyone, I wasn’t going back and forth or arguing with anyone, none of that… What I walked in on was that with other people, not me.” Chanel went on, describing how he feels the effects of the punch to this day. “I would wake up out of my sleep crying and not knowing why,” he explained. “So when I contacted the therapist she said it’s trauma, trauma will wake you up out of your sleep… The thing is I could have lost my life. You know, the right hit, you could be out of here… When I go to sleep I still see the moment.”

1999 WRITE THE FUTURE won over our hearts late last year. The hip-hop collective that has close affiliations with 88rising and RCA Records got their start in October with their debut single “WORLD STOP TURNING.” However, our first coverage of their work came shortly after that release. “MiNt cHoCoLaTe,” which dropped in December, put us on to what kind of experimentation they were up to. Since then, they went onto give fans thier debut project in February and they are not slowing down. Today, they are back with a new track with Rich Brian and TiaCorine, “PUMP IT UP.”

Rich has had a lot to do with the success of 1999 as he is signed to 88rising. He was all over the hella album with standout appearances on “silence STArEs me down” and “LiGhT rAiLs.” Now, he is teaming up with TiaCorine for the first time ever on “PUMP IT UP.” It is safe to say that these two should have worked together sooner.

Both of their respective funky styles complement each other on this short, two-minute record. Tia has been picking up steam for herself as well as of late. Kendrick Lamar’s Last-Minute Tecate Pa’l Norte Cancellation Leaves Fans Disappointed

Kendrick Lamar was previously scheduled to headline Tecate Pa’l Norte on Friday (March 29), but ended up canceling the show last minute. The announcement arrived only hours before he was expected to hit the stage. The music festival takes place annually at the Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Organizers shared the unfortunate news in an official statement.

“For unforeseen circumstances due to logistical issues out of Tecate Pal Norte’s organization — we’re sorry to announce that Kendrick Lamar won’t be able to perform tonight at the festival,” the statement reads. Kendrick was scheduled to perform after Peso Pluma, who extended his show in an attempt to make up for the rapper’s absence. “We appreciate Peso Pluma for extending his showtime. Deorro will be closing Tecate Light Stage. The programmed shows of the Festival will run as planned,” the festival also told attendees.

As expected, festivalgoers were pretty disappointed that Kendrick didn’t perform. The comments section of a Reddit post about the cancelation is flooded with fans demanding an explanation, which he’s yet to provide aside from a repost of the festival’s announcement on his Instagram Story. “Explain yourself kdot,” one user urges, with another saying they “hate when this happens.” Several commenters are also speculating about what could have caused the last-minute cancelation. While some think pay might have been the problem, others joke that his recent Drake diss on “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin left him afraid to show his face.

During a recent chat with Us Weekly, former U.S. prosecutor Neama Rahmani shared his take on Diddy’s legal drama. According to him, things could potentially end very badly for him. Moreover, he wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up behind bars with the likes of Jeffery Epstein and R. Kelly.

Kelly type of case.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Diddy is arrested in the coming days or weeks,” Rahmani also added. “He’s going to have to face these charges. There’s no possible plea that is going to get him off with a slap on the wrist or probation. He had two of the stronger releases with Nothing Bigger Than The Program and the deluxe of The Elephant Man’s Bones with The Alchemist. Well, we are happy to report that Roc Marciano is off to one hell of a start with Marciology.

The legendary rapper and producer teased the album last week with the lead single “Gold Crossbow.” It was easily one of the most chilling songs of the year and it had us excited for the full body of work. Marci also produced that track, which is the case for this entire album. However, he was not totally alone for this record.

She completed the eye-catching look with a simple pair of white heels, an understated makeup look, and a sleek updo. This isn’t the first time Censori left patrons at the Cheesecake Factory in awe, however. Earlier this month, she and her man hit up the hotspot again before it even opened. They waited outside patiently until the staff allowed them in. Luckily, Ye was able to pull a few strings, and they got in about ten minutes before opening time.

He might be a top-five trap rap artist right now, and certainly from his hometown. Every album of his is filled to the brim with bangers, especially his most recent effort. In 2023, Mr. Glock put out Glockoma 2, a sequel to his 2018 project. Surprisingly though, the deluxe version gave us its biggest hit. With “Let’s Go” being such a huge success, Key Glock has recruited Alok for a remix to turn house parties into ragers.

Alok is one of the most popular DJs in the world, with the Brazilian raking in over 30 million monthly listeners. He specializes in dance/EDM music and has been in the business since 2018. Glock has really been marketing “Let’s Go” very well, especially with its John Wick-inspired music video. With his connections and love for the track, it only made sense to bring a new version to fruition.

What is good about this “Let’s Go (Alok Remix)” is that it keeps a similarly dark tone like the original does. It is not overproduced, or drowning is wub bass either. It is a nice balance between dark and upbeat at the same time. There is a chance it will not do as well as like a “Goosebumps – Remix” with HVME, for example. But it does its job and pretty effectively in our opinion.
