Brother Ali & UnJUST Drop Two More Promo Singles With “Worthy” & “Gauntlet” Featuring Roc Marciano

Brother Ali is one of the more intriguing prospects in the underground conscious rap scene. The longtime Wisconsin artist has an intricate pen game and understated delivery. He likes focusing more on the words rather than the cadence, which is highly commendable. Brother Ali is doing more of the same great stuff on two new singles, “Worthy” and “Gauntlet.”

Both of these Brother Ali tracks are produced by unJUST, as have the last three singles. All five are out to bring hype to the rapper’s forthcoming record Love & Service, his first in three years. The project is due on April 26 and to our knowledge, we know of one feature. That would be Roc Marciano, who actually features on “Gauntlet.” For those wondering where he dropped the former and “Worthy,” Brother Ali dropped the Roc collab on Apple Music only, and the solo track on Spotify.

Quotable Lyrics From “Worthy”:

I don’t chase the bag dagnabbit I’m in it
Not last-minute I been it ask my ancestors quit it
My kraft is authentically mastered it isn’t instant
You can’t sprinkle it out of a package and get to whisking
It’s seasoned by the seasons of marinade I drenched it
The care that I exhibit is the flavor that you’re sipping listen

Roc Marciano & Larry June Provide Chilling Performances On “Bad JuJu”

Roc Marciano and Larry June are two of the underground hip-hop kings and have been for quite some time. So, what happens when you combine their respective talents, along with one of the greatest producers of all time, The Alchemist? Well, you get a bone-chilling and well-written track with eerie, top-notch production. Those qualities are how we would describe “Bad JuJu” by Roc Marciano and Larry June. Considering how their styles effortlessly mix together on this record, you would think these two would have tons of previous work as a duo. However, the opposite is quite true here.

“Bad JuJu” is only Roc and June’s third ever offering. Hearing them again on one track for the first time since 2022’s “Maybe The Next Time” makes us wonder why we do not have more team-ups. By the way, the latter can be found on Jay Worthy, Larry, and LNDN DRGS record, 2 P’z In A Pod. “Bad JuJu” lands on Roc’s recently released Marciology.

Roc Marciano Is Taking Aim On Cold-Blooded On “Gold Crossbow”

Roc Marciano, one of the hardest workers in all of hip-hop is gearing up for another run in 2024. The Long Island, New York MC delivered a solid pair of record last year. Nothing Bigger Than The Program with Jay Worthy displayed how talented of a producer Roc is. Then, he put of the deluxe version of his and The Alchemist’s The Elephant Man’s Bones known as The ALC Edition.

For most of his career, Marci has put out at least two to three records per year. Hopefully, that trend continues with MARCIOLOGY due next Friday, March 29. To promote the record, Roc Marciano has just delivered “Gold Crossbow.” This is also his first solo single of 2024, so you know he had to come back with some heat.

We are happy to say that he delivers tenfold on that promise. The dark and despondent piano-backed beat is the perfect backdrop for Roc Marciano’s cold-blooded bars. From brags to warning shots, he is not holding back in any capacity. From what we know, features on MARCIOLOGY include Larry June, Flee Lord, Jay Worthy and more. Furthermore, there will be production from Uncle Al, but most of it will be handled by the multi-talent.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Gold Crossbow,” by Roc Marciano? Does this get you excited for his upcoming album MARCIOLOGY, why or why not? Is this one of his coldest songs ever? Does Roc deserve more credit as a top-tier MC? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. I oughta burn your whole wardrobe
You know I wore stones the size of gallstones

That’s the warning when you ignore the rules
It’s war when you put salt on wounds like when you ordered food
