Killer Mike & Blxst Recruit Offset For Extended Version Of “MICHAEL” Cut “EXIT 9”

Killer Mike really put on for the city of Atlanta and the rap genre at the 2024 GRAMMYs. Somewhat controversially, his sophomore solo LP MICHAEL took home three categories at the iconic award show earlier this year. It won over massive mainstream records UTOPIA, HEROES & VILLAINS, Her Loss, and King’s Disease III. One of the consistent arguments against him winning came from fans who are not hip to the rap legend saying things like, “Who is Killer Mike?” But he definitely deserved all the success and now, Killer Mike is taking another victory lap by adding Offset to “EXIT 9.”

Track 10 on the original version of the album, “EXIT 9” only featured California singer Blxst. Additionally, the song was just over two minutes and 40 seconds. But with Offset entering the mix, the record now clocks in at 3:30. As most know, adding another artist to an already great track can achieve mixed results.

But to the former Migos member’s credit, he seamlessly slides into what Mike and Blxst were doing on the reflective song about making it from the bottom. Offset rocks a monotone and lowkey flow as he talks about Takeoff, his late grandmother, and working hard for his respect in the game. All in all, this one of the stronger bonus cuts from MICHAEL. Be sure to check out the new version of “EXIT 9” with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “EXIT 9” by Killer Mike, Offset, and Blxst? Which version of this track do you prefer more now and why? Is this the best song from MICHAEL, why or why not? Is this one of Offset’s stronger performances of 2024? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Travis Scott Surprise Drops “CHASE B REMIX” Of “FE!N,” But Fans Are Trashing It

Travis Scott easily had one of the most successful albums of 2023 period last year with his long-awaited fourth studio album UTOPIA. It went on to spawn some incredible and impactful songs that are well on their way to being some of the biggest of his career. “I KNOW ?” “MELTDOWN,” “TELEKENESIS,” and of course, “FE!N,” are among the big ticket cuts. To further establish the latter in his discography Travis Scott is bringing a CHASE B REMIX into the fold.

The remix’s title is a nod to fellow Houston, Texas DJ and producer CHASE B. He has a lot of close ties with Scott, crafting beats for some of his catalog. For this reimagining, the veteran is transforming the rage rap track into a dance record. With a version like this, the lyrics are at a minimum. In fact, Playboi Carti’s verse is totally scrapped in the process. This is not the only major Scott track to receive a dance facelift. His 2016 mega hit “goosebumps” got HVME involved and that became a huge song in its own right.

However, it seems the “FE!N (CHASE B REMIX)” is not going to see the same success. Underneath the YouTube comments have not been glowing to say the least. “This the version Fein that a middle school dance would play,” one person comments. “Tiktok rizz party version,” another adds. “Bro dropped this and now he needs to pick it back up😭🙏🏼” Let us know what you think and check it out above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “FE!N (CHASE B REMIX)” by Travis Scott & CHASE B? Is this his best dance remix ever, why or why not? If not, do you agree that this should have not been remixed at all? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Azealia Banks Slams Nicki Minaj & Sexyy Red, Claims Cardi B Belonged On “FTCU” Remix

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj teamed up with Sexyy Red, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown to deliver a new remix of her track “FTCU.” So far, most fans are enjoying her latest collab, with some even arguing that it’s better than the original. Unfortunately but unsurprisingly, Azealia Banks disagrees, and didn’t hesitate to share her own take online.

She took to her Instagram Story to put Nicki on blast, arguing that she shouldn’t have collaborated with Sexyy Red. Instead, Banks think she should have put her longtime rival Cardi B on the remix. She also called Nicki out for some of her past drama, suggesting that she’s hypocritical for collaborating with the St. Louis-born performer, considering previous disses she’s thrown Cardi’s way.

Azealia Banks Shares Her Take On Nicki Minaj’s New “FTCU” Remix Ft. Sexyy Red, Travis Scott, And Chris Brown

“Nicki u ain’t fooling nobody with those weak females ur trying to make urself look like a nice person with,” she said in part. “U looked so st*pid on that stage with all those uniconic rap girls. And sexy red look like she stink in this photo. I can’t even tell if it’s her. U really accused cardi of having herpes but are posing with a chick who admitted to have [gonorrhea].” In her post, Banks also called out Nicki for “laughing at” Asian Doll, and accused her of not truly liking Foxy Brown.

Clearly, Banks isn’t a fan of Nicki’s latest collab, and isn’t afraid to show it. Nicki’s yet to respond to the criticism. What do you think of Azealia Banks’ reaction to Nicki Minaj’s “FTCU (Remix)” with Sexyy Red, Travis Scott, and Chris Brown? Do you agree that Cardi B would have been a better fit than Sexyy? Kanye West’s Remix Of Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” Is Allegedly In Adam22’s Hands

It goes without saying that the release of Future and Metro Boomin’s track with Kendrick Lamar, “Like That,” has sparked a lot of controversy. On his verse, Kendrick took aim at both Drake and J. Cole, which has since resulted in response disses from both of them. Almost everyone has chimed in on the matter at this point, including No Jumper‘s Adam22, albeit in his own way.

Today, the podcaster took to Twitter/X to announce that he’s got something incredibly valuable in his possession. It’s to be noted, however, that it’s unclear whether or not it actually exists. According to him, it’s Kanye West’s remix of “Like That,” which he also says he’s been “forbidden” to leak. Check out his Tweet below.

Adam22 Claims He’s Been “Forbidden” To Leak Alleged Remix

“I have the Kanye ‘like that’ remix,” he wrote simply. “I have been forbidden to leak it at this time.” While plenty of commenters are calling cap on Adam’s claim, others think he might be telling the truth, and are urging him to drop it. Only time will tell whether or not he’s being honest, or just messing with his followers amid the viral feud the song sparked.

This isn’t the only time Adam22 inserted himself into the debacle, however. He also entered the chat about the real “big three” rappers prompted by Kendrick’s “it’s just big me” claim, revealing who he believes are the big three of hip-hop media. According to him, it’s himself, DJ Vlad, and DJ Akademiks. As expected, Joe Budden disagreed, and apparently Drake does too. According to Adam, Drizzy DMd him and told him he’s “got to give it to” Budden over Vlad. What do you think of Adam22 claiming to have Kanye West’s alleged remix of Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That”? Do you believe him? Key Glock Has Fans Screaming “Let’s Go” After Adding Young Dolph To Remix

“Ain’t gonna lie, Young Dolph was my motivation. That was my mental hype man. Even when myself didn’t see the s***, he seen it and put it in me.” That was Key Glock with Billboard just a few months after the tragic passing of his cousin and mentor, Young Dolph. It has been nearly three years since we lost a pioneer of Southern hip-hop, but his student has been doing more than a fine job propelling the sound forward.

One of the ways he has been able to do that is through his viral banger “Let’s Go.” A part of his Glockoma 2 (Deluxe) tape, it’s catchiness and dark tone made it an almost instant hit. Since its release last June, the song has raked in over 71 million streams on Spotify, has received a kick-a** music video, and a dance rework with Alok. A great track on its own, Glock wanted to bring another version out, with this Young Dolph remix being the most special of them all.

On top of getting a new unreleased verse from the legend, Glock also went ahead and recorded a new verse as well. “My lil’ b**** Tinkerbell ’cause I’m fly as Peter Pan (Let’s go) / Yeah (Yeah), yeah (Yeah), let’s go, get some money, f*** that plan (B****, f*** that plan) / Hopped up out that Cyber truck, my wrist cost a Lamb’ (Yeah).” There is a strong possibility that this version with Dolph overtakes the original in popularity because fans are loving it already. “#LongLiveKingDolph 👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Let’s Go Remix” by Key Glock and Young Dolph? Is this the better alternate version of this hit song, why or why not? Who had the stronger verse here? Is Dolph one of the pillars of Memphis hip-hop? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. NLE Choppa Delivers Raunchy Remix Of Tyla’s “Water” During Kai Cenat Stream

South African starlet Tyla’s 2023 hit “Water” was recently given the NLE Choppa treatment, and it’s as raunchy as one would expect. The rapper appeared on Kai Cenat’s stream earlier this week, where he freestyled over the famous track while the internet icon danced behind him. It doesn’t appear as though the 21-year-old was taking his remix too seriously. Either way, some commenters think he nailed it, and are sounding off on Twitter/X.

“I mean it could have been worse,” one fan writes. “This good tunes,” another claims. Some critics weren’t impressed, however, and are calling for the Memphis-born performer to leave the song alone. “I think we need to take a step back with music,” one Twitter/X user says. Someone else adds, “This is so trash.” Check out NLE Choppa’s “Water” freestyle down below.

NLE Choppa’s NSFW Freestyle

Most viewers are focused on NLE Choppa’s raunchy bars, but plenty are also concerned with how Tyla will feel about the remix, and how Kai was dancing during it. “Tyla never coming back on Kai Cenat stream after this NLE Choppa freestyle,” one user writes. “Kai turning up to it like it’s the next best hit,” another says. This is far from the first time NLE Choppa’s explicit lyrics left fans in awe, however. Last month, he performed a new song for his audience at Rolling Loud, which garnered quite a few reactions for its NSFW rhymes and his suggestive dance moves. The track, “Slut Me Out 2,” is scheduled for release at midnight (April 12).

His increasingly scandalous social media activity even recently caught the attention of Adam22, who complimented the MC for one of his thirst traps. He didn’t seem interested in the No Jumper host, but did note that he’d be willing to get to know his wife, Lena The Plug. What do you think of NLE Choppa’s “Water” freestyle? Do you prefer his or Tyla’s version? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Sexyy Red Shares Hilarious Nicki Minaj Impression Amid “FTCU” Remix Demands

Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj took to social media to send a public message to Sexyy Red, requesting for the St. Louis-born performer remix her track “FTCU.” As expected, Sexyy was quick to respond, appearing interested so long as the hitmaker would be willing to shoot an accompanying visual with her. Nicki didn’t make any promises right away, but she did hint that another major artist could also appear on the track.

“Miss lady, bring the kids & the stroller that’s all I got to offer right now. a play date,” Nicki wrote. “Let somebody film us bi$h sexy know DANG well we on tour in #gagcity Barbz. send me that verse right away pls ma’am. It’s a superstar (or 2) on there as well. GET IT SEXY!!!!!!” Sexyy Red later replied with a photo of her and her little ones on a plane, telling Nicki they’re on their way.

Sexyy Red Channels Her Inner Roman In New Clip

Of course, the idea left fans in shambles, as they’ve yet to hear the two femcees on a song together since “Pound Town 2.” While the remix isn’t confirmed to be in the works, listeners have remained hopeful. During a recent Instagram Live, Sexyy even channeled her inner Roman with a few bars from “St*pid H*e,” seemingly indicating that she’s been revisiting some of the Queen of Rap’s earlier material. Only time will tell whether or not the remix ever really happens, but until it does, it’s safe to say she won’t be able to escape demands for her verse.

What do you think of Sexyy Red’s Nicki Minaj impression? Did she nail it? What about her potentially appearing on a remix of “FTCU”? Are you looking forward to hearing it? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Key Glock Turns To DJ Alok For A Dance Remix Of “Let’s Go”

Key Glock is one of the top-flight Memphis rap talents right now. One thing about him is that you are going to get consistency at the highest level. He might be a top-five trap rap artist right now, and certainly from his hometown. Every album of his is filled to the brim with bangers, especially his most recent effort. In 2023, Mr. Glock put out Glockoma 2, a sequel to his 2018 project. Surprisingly though, the deluxe version gave us its biggest hit. With “Let’s Go” being such a huge success, Key Glock has recruited Alok for a remix to turn house parties into ragers.

Alok is one of the most popular DJs in the world, with the Brazilian raking in over 30 million monthly listeners. He specializes in dance/EDM music and has been in the business since 2018. Glock has really been marketing “Let’s Go” very well, especially with its John Wick-inspired music video. With his connections and love for the track, it only made sense to bring a new version to fruition.

Listen To “Let’s Go (Alok Remix)” By Key Glock & Alok

What is good about this “Let’s Go (Alok Remix)” is that it keeps a similarly dark tone like the original does. It is not overproduced, or drowning is wub bass either. It is a nice balance between dark and upbeat at the same time. There is a chance it will not do as well as like a “Goosebumps – Remix” with HVME, for example. But it does its job and pretty effectively in our opinion.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single, “Let’s Go (Alok Remix),” by Key Glock and Alok? Do you prefer this version or the original, why or why not? What is your favorite element of the track and why? Do you think we have a new project coming soon from the Memphis rapper? Is this the best song of his career? Jorja Smith Taps Three French Rappers For “GO GO GO” EP

Jorja Smith has one of the most stunning voices in all of soul/pop/R&B. The veteran from the UK has been delivering some dreamy tracks for about eight years now. She has given fans a lot of singles and loosies since her debut in 2018, Lost & Found. However, after a long five-year wait, she came through with her sophomore tape falling or flying. Fans began to got word of it being in the works after Jorja Smith dropped her first solo single since May 2023, “GO GO GO.”

The song was fun but also a middle finger to a man not wanting commitment. Pop rock in tone, it further showcased Jorja’s multi-faceted abilities. Since falling or flying, she delivered a performance for The Color Purple soundtrack. However, nothing has really dropped since. But do not fret, Jorja decided to revive the fan-favorite “GO GO GO” for a new EP of the same name.

In fact, “GO GO GO” is not the only song receiving some reworks. “Blue Lights” is also getting some love, as Jorja adds French rappers Josman and Dosseh to each one respectively. It is safe to say that she was inspired to do this based on Oboy’s inclusion for a remix of “Come Over” which originally had Popcaan on it. Oboy’s version is the third in the trio of French remakes. Be sure to check them out above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new EP, GO GO GO, by Jorja Smith? Is this one of her best songs in the last year or so, why or why not? Who added the most to three tracks and why? Bryson Tiller Reveals Crazy Story How “Don’t” Remix With Drake Was Derailed By Producer

The excitement around Bryson Tiller is such a refreshing feeling to have. The Kentucky singer and rapper is finally returning with a new studio album in about three weeks. Bryson Tiller will be out April 5 and we have already received some amazing tracks, “Whatever She Wants” and “Calypso.” It will be his fourth project and it is shaping up to be a special self-titled LP. There is a possibility it rivals his debut T R A P S O U L. It will be a tall task, especially with the amount of hits it has. “Don’t” is a great stand-alone Bryson Tiller record, but imagine Drake were to hop on a remix?

Well, that almost happened back in 2015 according to Uproxx. Tiller sat down with Complex to talk about the upcoming record and T R A P S O U L came up too. “Don’t” was naturally discussed and Bryson revealed a crazy story of how Drake was about to remix it. According to the Louisville native, the song’s producer, Epikh Pro, was getting word from a Young Money representative that Drake was interested in the beat. Tiller explains that Epik asked him to sell it back to him, not knowing that the Canadian icon was already talking to Bryson.

Bryson mentioned that the producer, who sold him the beat from SoundClick, never wanted to get on the phone with him. That had to be slightly frustrating because it wound up costing both artists a chance at giving the beatmaker some more recognition. “I was like, ‘Yo, bro just call me.’ And after I told him that, he just spazzed on me. He was like, ‘Nah, I ain’t doing this, man.’ He just blocked his own blessings. It’s crazy,” Tiller said.

What are your thoughts on Bryson Tiller and Drake almost collaborating for a remix of “Don’t?” Do you think the song would have been better or worse with him on it? Is this track still in your rotation today? Are you excited for Tiller’s upcoming self-titled album?
