Lupe Fiasco Brushes Off Technical Difficulties With A Freestyle

Technical difficulties are capable of completely derailing a show. Recently 50 Cent found himself so plagued by annoying technical shortcomings that he threw a microphone into the crowd. That throw of frustration landed him in some serious trouble as he’s being investigated as a battery suspect for the incident. But when Lupe Fiasco fell victim to some technical difficulties at a recent show he handled it differently.

In a new clip making the rounds online, Lupe shows just how creative he is with a freestyle to fill the space while some technical difficulties are sorted out. In the clip, his drummer plays him a simple beat and Lupe goes off over it. He spits a freestyle about how he arrived at the show that day and the performance he’s about to give. The chemistry between Lupe and his drummer and the performance itself is incredibly impressive given its impromptu. Check out the full clip below.

Lupe Fiasco Finds The Perfect Way To Fill Time

Lupe Fiasco has released five new singles so far this year. Most recently he showed up dazzling fans with his song “Roc-A-Fella Y’all,” back in July. The song was self-produced by Lupe and features nearly 5 full minutes of creative wordplay and hard-hitting bars. That followed CHANNEL No. 3 earlier that month. He began the year by releasing SentRock a cross-medium collaborative project with painter SentRock. The album art for the song was a painting specifically made to be paired with the track.

Last year Lupe Fiasco released his concept album DRILL MUSIC IN ZION. The 10-track album spawned a few of the rapper’s biggest songs in years like “GHOTI” and “AUTOBOTO” with Nayirah. It was his first new album since 2018 when he released the second project in his “DROGAS” series DROGAS WAVE. What do you think of Lupe Fiasco pulling out a great freestyle for fans after his show had some technical difficulties? Let us know in the comment section below.

Jayda Cheaves Says Her Ex “Shot” Her When She Gave Another Chance, Addresses Pregnancy Rumours

Fame and fortune aren’t as always fun as they appear to be from the outside looking in – Jayda Cheaves knows this all too well. The socialite is most commonly recognized for having a child with Atlanta-based rapper Lil Baby. Outside of that, she’s built a name for herself as a socialite and businesswoman. Plenty of exciting opportunities have come Cheaves’ way as a result of the connections in her life over the years. Unfortunately, so has the scrutiny of the public eye. She addressed this during a recent interview with YouTuber Zias, specifically speaking on the pregnancy rumours that have been floating around throughout 2023.

“I think because I just had took a break off the internet,” the mother of one speculated. “I really went missing for a good little minute… Girls, we get in relationships, and we just like forget about ourselves. We totally just fall off the face of the Earth because we get so consumed in a relationship. That is where I was at in my life,” Cheaves confessed. Zias was obviously surprised by news of his friend being romantically involved with someone. However, it quickly became clear she was likely referring to attempting to reconcile with Lil Baby.

“I gave my relationship another shot and it shot me,” the reality star said with a laugh. She noted immediately after that using humour to cope is actually a trauma response for her. Despite the heartache, Cheaves still made it clear that she’s ready for love to find her when the time is right. For now, she’s enjoying life as a single woman with her friends.

If there was any reason to speculate about Jayda Cheaves being with child again, it’s certainly dissipated after the internet caught sight of her antics in Tulum this past weekend. On her IG Story, the influencer showed off plenty of her bikini body, and in a sneakily captured video, she and a friend turn up together while twerking on an unknown man on their girl’s trip. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Tokyo Toni Sings Defamatory Song About Spice Amid Erica Mena Racism Scandal

Tokyo Toni just threw her hat into the Spice and Erica Mena ring, which is inspiring a lot of debate online over the latter “Love & Hip Hop” star calling the former a “monkey” after she spoke on her kids. Moreover, Toni even wrote a whole song about it that unfortunately perpetuates that insult and justifies its racially charged impact. In a new clip on social media, Angela White (formerly known as Blac Chyna)’s mother hits some dance moves while singing along. “Blue monkey Spice” and “talkin’ on people kids ain’t f***in’ nice” are among the few lyrics on display. Of course, this contributed to already fiery and contested back-and-forths on the Internet about whether Mena’s insult was warranted.

On one hand, many agree with Tokyo Toni that mentioning Erica’s relationship with her kids was a step too far for Spice. On the other, many felt that a wrong doesn’t make a right, and that this is still an egregious comment to make. What’s more is that this incident added to a long history of controversy surrounding Mena’s racial identity and treatment of Black individuals. However, some didn’t even have a set opinion on all this, and just thought that it was strange for Toni to make a song about it in the first place.

Tokyo Toni’s Bizarre Diss Towards Spice

Still, she’s known for being outspoken and unfiltered, such as when he demanded that Tyga pay her daughter’s child support. “@tyga you should be paying child support,” Tokyo Toni expressed on social media. “What kind of man are you? She never asked you for a dime her son. You should be ashamed of yourself. Why are you putting pressure where it doesn’t have to be? You could’ve come in here but you think it’s good don’t you.

“Tyga does not have full custody of my grandson,” she continued. “He has never paid child support in 11 years. It’s about time this boy is growing. Let me put my take on this he has never pay child support and 11 years my daughter takes care of her kids. What woman today would not ask money when you can see that the man is getting money!” For more news and the latest updates on Tokyo Toni, Spice, and Erica Mena, come back to HNHH.

Beyonce Is The Ultimate “Diva”: Celebrate Singer’s 42nd Birthday With A Feel-Good Throwback

Before she was known as the almighty Queen B, leader of the BeyHive, Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter was a little girl with big dreams. Her father, Matthew Knowles, worked hard to prepare the young vocalist for the spotlight, even ordering her to run through the Houston heat in heels. Though obviously gruelling, the extreme tactics obviously paid off as Bey has been running flawlessly all through her RENAISSANCE World Tour so far.

She’s preparing for her third and final performance in Los Angeles today (September 4), which coincidentally also happens to be the multi-talent’s 42nd birthday. Her friends and fans have been sharing plenty of heartfelt tributes on social media, and others are replaying old favourites from Beyonce’s discography to celebrate. We’ve decided to revisit her 2008 female empowerment anthem, “Diva” for our part, which appeared on her I Am… Sasha Fierce LP a decade and a half ago.

Celebrities have been showing up at Drake and 21 Savage’s “It’s All A Blur” tour all summer. There are too many instances to count of famous singers, actors, athletes, reality TV stars, and more in attendance to see Drizzy’s show. Over the weekend Latto became the most recent when she took her sister to the show. Now in a new Instagram photo dump, she shared plenty of memories from the night with fans.

“American ExpreeeeEeeeeEeeeess ur loooooove to meeee,” the caption of her post reads. It’s a reference to Drake’s song “Search & Rescue” which hit number 2 on the Hot 100 earlier this year and is still on the charts now at number 38. Latto At The “It’s All A Blur” Tour

Last month, Latto declared her own song “Put It On Da Floor Again” as the best song of the summer. She originally released the track “Put It On Da Floor” earlier this year before recruiting Cardi B for a remix. The resulting track became a top 20 hit on the Hot 100 and has also stuck around for quite a while, turning up at number 42 this week.

She also earned her first-ever number-one hit on the Hot 100 earlier this year. Her collaboration with BTS member and K-pop superstar Jung Kook debuted at the number-one spot. She is still the only rapper to appear on any number-one hit song this year, a feat which could soon change as Doja Cat eyes a chart-topping hit next week. What do you think of Latto showing up at a Drake show to watch her rumored bf 21 Savage perform? Let us know in the comment section below.

Fat Joe Recounts A Horrific Story With A Man In A Santa Costume

Rappers who have been in the hip-hop space for decades will always have a plethora of thought-provoking and legendary stories to talk about for hours on end. One icon that can gather people around for a good anecdote is New Yorker through and through, Fat Joe. The 53-year-old from the South Bronx has done a great service to the East Coast providing classics such as “Lean Back,” “All The Way Up,” “What’s Luv?” and countless others. On top of his decorated music career, Fat Joe has countless memories from his past that are incredibly fascinating.

Just yesterday on September 3, the rapper retold a frightening encounter with a random man in public. Fat Joe went on his Instagram Live to take a trip in the time machine when he was approached and called out by a man in a Santa Claus suit. Joe appears to remember it like it was yesterday as he explains in detail what happened to him. Obviously, he is still here to share it, but this man really threatened him and could have done something terrible.

Fat Joe Lives To Tell The Tale

Joe gives us the scenario to start, “I came out of the jewelers and this guy sees me. The guy is wearing a Santa Claus outfit, but it’s the summer… He’s got money in his hand — a bunch of singles, dirty singles — he looked like he went to the strip club with oil. He continues, “He sees me and he goes, ‘You! You muthafucka!’ So I’m looking at him because nobody does that to me. But obviously, you know, the guy was mentally disturbed. Mental illness, schizophrenia?” The man also shouts at Joe, “‘Oooh, you rich muthaf****! I have nothing! No one loves me!’” Joe says in the Live, “The man got a knife or something. He was in a horrible state of mind. But… I was impressed that I exercised patience.” The rapper told the man “God bless you,” because he felt he could not do anything for the guy. Thankfully Joe is still here to talk about it, and if the man is suffering from some illness, we hope he is getting the treatment he needs.

What are your initial thoughts on this story from Fat Joe and the man in the Santa Claus suit? Is this one of the most odd stories you have ever heard? What do you think the man was dealing with mentally or emotionally? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Lefty SM Shot & Killed In Guadalajara, Mexican Rapper Was Only 31

Yet another tragedy has struck the world of hip-hop, this time taking place in Mexico. As HipHopDX reports, a shooting in Guadalajara this past weekend left 31-year-old Lefty SM dead. The foreign rapper’s record label, Alzada, confirmed the upsetting news in an Instagram post which has since been translated into English. “Dear Alzada friends and family, with profound sadness we’re informing you about the death of our brother, Lefty SM, Juan Carlos Sauceda,” they shared with followers.

The late lyricist leaves behind a wife, Maria Isabel, and the couple’s two daughters. At the time of his death, the “Volando” artist was reportedly attacked near his home in Mexico. Police haven’t yet shared a motive for the crime. An official report is expected to come from authorities later today (September 4). Fans both old and new are shocked by the news of Lefty’s death. Many of them have been sharing heartfelt tributes to the rising star online.

Lefty SM’s Record Label Confirms His Tragic Death

Lefty’s name may not be familiar to those who only listen to American rap, but in the world of Latin hip-hop, he was making serious waves. He’s spent most of his life mastering the art of writing rhymes, beginning in 1992, though it wasn’t until 2017 when his YouTube channel really took off. Unfortunately, he won’t be around to further push boundaries in the music world. Still, it’s not likely that his loved ones will let his legacy be forgotten. As we’ve seen with other artists taken too soon, there’s always a possibility for posthumous features or albums.

It’s been a sad few days in terms of fatalities being reported in the news. Aside from Lefty SM’s fatal shooting in Mexico, Rihanna’s cousin, Tanella Alleyne was also buried in Barbados recently. Read more about that tragedy at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
