6ix9ine Performs Nicki Minaj Collab “FEFE” At Romanian Festival

It’s been a long time since Nicki Minaj came up in conversation along with 6ix9ine, but she still graced one of his biggest songs ever. Moreover, that’s a track that the 26-year-old is still playing at live events to this day, with or without the Young Money alum. During his set at the 2023 Beach Please Festival in Romania, he performed their track “FEFE” to a massive crowd, and people seemed pretty excited. Not only that, but he let Nicki’s verse play in full and occasionally sang to keep people’s energy up. Even though he hadn’t made a performance appearance in a while, apparently he still knows how to rock a crowd.

On that note, given all the new music he dropped as of late, perhaps we’ll see 6ix9ine in a live setting more often moving forward. The New York rapper’s latest release was the song “Y Ahora” with Mexican band Group Firme, further leading us to his teased Latin album. While many clowned the “GUMMO” MC for his stylistic switch-up, it’s by no means shocking or unprecedented. A couple of tracks from his peak presence in pop culture are in Spanish, and some are collaborations with the likes of Puerto Rican reggaetón artist Anuel AA.

As such, this change in primary sound probably isn’t completely due to to his gym beatdown as many believe. Rather, it’s just another step in his artistic evolution, a career path that he actually toned down before his viral attack. The most standout recent single has to be her remix of “Princess Diana” by Ice Spice, which got a lot of praise and was much-anticipated by fans.

Overall, the controversial artist still seemed to have a pretty good time at the Romanian festival. He also took a moment to honor the late XXXTENTACION during his set as well amid some of his biggest hits and collaborations. While he seems to be on a much different path these days, it’s insane to look back on tracks like “FEFE” and think of just how big he got in the rap game. During her second weekend at Coachella earlier this month, Latto took a moment during her set to show some love to Coi Leray. The latter rapper was left upset after assuming that the 777 Radio host had body-shamed her on her “Put It On Da Floor” single. However, her contemporary made it clear that there was no malice intended in her lyrics. Things seemed to be cool between Latto and Leray at that point. Nevertheless, the Boston baddie’s set during Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival on Saturday (April 29) now has us thinking otherwise.

In between performing some of her most popular hits, Coi took a moment to address the critics she’s been dealing with as of late. “People talk shit every f*cking day,” the 25-year-old yelled to the massive crowd watching her. “Every day it’s a hater on my d*ck, a new bitch got my name in her mouth. Somebody got something weird.” Thankfully, Leray has her team on her side supporting her, along with God. “You can’t do it without them, period,” she reminded her fans.

“If you a selfish bitch and you wanna be on some, ‘Imma do it myself,’ don’t be one of them,” her message ended before launching into another song. Leray obviously didn’t name-drop Latto while she was ranting. Still, knowing that the Trendsetter was certainly in her feelings after hearing the “Wheelie” hitmaker’s lyrics gives us an idea as to what may have motivated her speech. Elsewhere during her time on stage, she sang “No More Parties,” “FLY SH!T,” and her Nicki Minaj collaboration, “Blick Blick,” just to name a few.

Others who put on a show during day two of Something in the Water include The Kid LAROI, the Jonas Brothers, Lil Yachty, Summer Walker, and Pharrell’s Phriends – and that was just on the event’s Solar Stage. Lil Duval just took to Twitter to inquire about the status of Tory Lanez’s much-clowned-upon hair while he’s behind bars. Moreover, the Toronto rapper and singer expressed in the past that he’s trying to deal with hair loss and take proper care of it. In fact, he’s been vocal about his journey for years, serving as a counter (intentionally or not) to people flaming him for his hair. In the past, he named platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy as a natural hair restoration method. Still, with little photo evidence of him during his prison stint, many wonder what he looks like now, including the 45-year-old.

“I wonder how Tory lanez hairline look since he been locked up,” Lil Duval pondered on Twitter. Even though it’s quite the innocuous tweet out of context, the controversies these two caused for themselves makes it hard to know whether Duval is sincerely joking or legitimately concerned. After all, he distastefully made fun of Lanez shooting Megan Thee Stallion before the “Say It” artist received a guilty verdict. In addition, the Jacksonville, Florida native is no stranger to controversy of his own.

Back in February of this year, Twitter sleuths unearthed some concerning and insensitive tweets from Lil Duval. Furthermore, these had to do with sexual assault and inappropriate sexual activity with his daughter, a partner’s daughter, and more. Unsurprisingly, people reacted with disgust and outrage online, despite these being decades old. Still, a few people came to his defense given his reputation and profession as a comedian, trying not to take everything he says too seriously. Whether you thought it was a funny joke to make or not, his views certainly didn’t age well, and more recent comments suggest similarly out-of-pocket views.

For example, he blasted a same-sex scene in the Starz show “P-Valley,” which actually starred Megan Thee Stallion. Legendary musician Brian McKnight is a family man. He has four biological children. There are his sons Brian Jr. and Niko from his marriage to his college sweetheart, Julie. Then there is his daughter Brianna and son Clyde from previous relationships. That makes four biological children for McKnight.

Julie and McKnight split in 2003 but McKnight remarried in 2017. His second wife is Dr. Leilani Mendoza, whom he met in 2014. Mendoza has two children from a previous relationship, Julia and Jack. McKnight and Mendoza have since had a son, Brian, together. But it’s an Instagram post about Julia’s recent birthday that has riled up McKnight’s detractors online.

McKnight Critized For “Forgetting” Biological Children

The post that has sparked so much ire was originally posted by McKnight in December 2022. It shows McKnight with his step-daughter Julia, posing in front of a car he and his wife had given her for her birthday. McKnight included the caption “Today we celebrate you Jules on your birthday your mom and I couldn’t be prouder of you and I couldn’t ask for a better daughter than you!!! Happy birthday to the best daughter ever! Love u a zillion.”

People are seemingly only just discovering the post, as the discourse surrounding the post has only erupted in the past few days. McKnight’s detractors online are seemingly mad that his post appears to “ignore” or “forget” his biological daughter, Brianna. Furthermore, people have pointed to McKnight’s Instagram bio as further evidence that McKnight is “ignoring” his biological children.

From there, the song transitions into something a bit more melodic, with the production and Teezo getting on the same page. The word play here is great, and the structure of the song perfectly aligns with the whole time motif.

It was just a few months ago that Keke Palmer bravely welcomed her first child, Leodis Andrelton Jackson, into the world. Already, however, the young boy is making is red carpet debut alongside his famous mother and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson. The couple stepped out for the closing night screening of her upcoming Big Boss visual album during the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival, both Leo and his father rocking all-black outfits for their first major public appearance together.

While the boys kept it casual with their looks, Palmer was as extra as ever in a cheetah-print jumpsuit that perfectly hugs her “new body.” As you may recall, the Jump In! starlet previously boasted on Instagram about how the months following pregnancy have seen major changes in her body. Specifically, she’s happy to see natural enhancements in her chest, hips, and booty area, which Palmer admits she lacked confidence in in the past.

Andrew Tate Disses Women Who Go To Festivals

Andrew Tate just came through with one of his most bizarre and unnecessary takes in recent memory, and that’s saying a lot. Of course, it’s not uncommon for the controversial influencer to dish out takes about women, society, masculinity, and more from his bigoted perspective. However, in the wake of many recent events like Coachella, this was one of his weirder, albeit less outwardly hateful observations. Recently, the alleged human trafficker urged his followers on Twitter to steer clear of women who go to music festivals. He went on to explain his viewpoint and, unsurprisingly, gas himself up in the process.

“Avoid women who go to festivals,” Andrew Tate wrote. “Theyre either on some losers table whos feeding them cocaine or in a crowd of sweaty peasants because theyre a sweaty peasant. Endless instagram stories screaming and having ‘fun’ to prove to the world theyre worthless. Hard pass festih*es. Imagine being 24 and gorgeous and sweet and nice and finally getting a date with the Top G and he finds out you went to a festival when you were 19 and you get left on read and NEVER RECOVER. AND ARGUE WITH YOUR NEW MEN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE BECAUSE THEYRE JUST NOT ME.”

Andrew Tate Strangely Disses Female Festival-Goers

However, that wasn’t all that Andrew Tate recently popped off about. In a separate tweet, he waved his usual flags of being the hero against the “establishment,” who he believes want to silence him. While that’s not entirely untrue, it’s clearly not for the reasons he thinks. “LGBT want me to disappear,” he tweeted. “Liberals want me to disappear. Big Pharma want me to disappear. War Mongers want me to disappear. Feminists want me to disappear. They have billions of dollars. Endless influence. But I am still the most influential man on the planet. Will they succeed? Gather Chi for the final breaths.”

Meanwhile, in since-deleted tweets, the 36-year-old alleged that he was poisoned. Given that he deleted them, he probably realized he was just being paranoid. As the world awaits the results of the investigation into his alleged crimes, he seems content to keep flaunting his views and inflammatory rhetoric online. Second Arrest Made For Lotta Cash Desto’s Murder

The killing of Lil Uzi Vert-affiliated rapper Lotta Cash Desto last September was a shocking and tragic moment. The Memphis-born rapper was reportedly killed in a drive-by shooting in Houston early on the morning of September 24. Desto was an up-and-comer with hits like “Hrdddd”, “Best In Me”, and “Vegas”. The latter featured Lil Uzi Vert. Vert spoke passionately at Desto’s funeral. “I ain’t gon’ lie this don’t even feel real to me. Destinee was always on my hip everywhere I go… I had got in some trouble and they put me away I had to go to a rehab program and all that. She called me every day… Even if she called to argue with me, she called me every day and that’s what counted.”

Initial police reports said that two suspects were wanted in connection with the killing. The first suspect, Christian Isaiah Williams, was arrested shortly after the shooting. Williams was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen in a parking lot near the scene of the crime. However, there has been little news on the case ever since. But now, Houston police officers have announced a second arrest.

Second Man Charged With Desto’s Murder

First reported by local Fox affiliate, Fox26 Houston, Houston PD has charged a second man for Desto’s death. The second suspect has been named as Jeremyah Smith. The police allege that Williams and Smith got out of their vehicle and opened fire on Desto and her passenger after the rapper stopped behind Williams and Smith at an intersection. Desto was pronounced dead at the scene, but her passenger was transferred to hospital with severe gunshot wounds.

Furthermore, no motive has been determined for the killing as of yet. The police are looking the possibility of robbery or road rage motivating the murder. Smith is being held on a $500,000 bail while Williams’ bail was set at $150,000. This implies that Smith is considered to have had a bigger role in the killing. Additionally, Desto’s father, Hernandez Govan, was indicted in November 2022 for the murder of Young Dolph. However, it remains to be seen if that incident is linked to the death of his daughter.
