Since then, the former pair have traded various subliminal jobs online, with members of their families getting involved.

While things may not be fully resolved for Palmer on the romance front, she’s been sure not to let the feud get in the way of her and her little one’s relationship. “Leo Beo!!” she began. “Happy Birthday son I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.” Palmer went on to describe her son as the “strongest person” she’s ever known, detailing how he managed to bring her peace even before his birth. “You make my life so worth living,” she wrote. “If I’m being honest I have always teeter tottered with life. I have just always been so annoyed by it and the ups and the downs and it has always seemed so painful for trivial reasons. Things could be so simple and they’re not and that always gave me a bitter feeling. But since you my son, I have no confusion on why I am here! On my purpose or my value or why I should stay. I wanna stay for you.”

He’s currently in the custody of his mom, Keke Palmer, after she requested a judge grant a restraining order against Darius Jackson for his alleged inappropriate, and at times, dangerous behaviour toward the mother of his son.

Court documents claim that the personal trainer was manipulative and insecure while dating Palmer. He would lash out at her for interacting with other men (as we saw after her appearance at Usher’s Las Vegas residency), and apparently once even engaged in a game of “tug of war” over Leodis with the Chicago native. Despite the harrowing gossip, Jackson is doing his part to express his love for the months-old baby boy from afar with an Instagram post showing wholesome moments spent with his side of the family.

It’s obviously not an easy journey for anyone, but from Palmer’s social media posts, she made it seem as though her boyfriend made for an excellent co-parent and support system.

Unfortunately, we now know that mental and physical abuse was taking place between Leodis’ parents. According to Palmer, he previously spoke about empathizing with animals who eat their young, and once practically played tug of war with her over Leodis during an angry attempt to change the months-old baby’s diaper. The details surfacing so far are chilling, but still, Darius seems confident that he’ll be seeing his little boy again before long.

Keke Palmer revealed some startling allegations last night. According to Page Six, the artist and actress had filed for a restraining order against her ex, Darius Jackson. Furthermore, she had even filed for full custody of their young child, Leodis. Overall, this was very scary news as the implications were clear. Not to mention, the actual court filing had various allegations of both physical and emotional abuse.

According to a new report from Radar Online, Palmer largely got her wish from a judge. She now has complete custody of her son. Moreover, she has been given a temporary restraining order against Jackson that makes it so he cannot come within 100 yards of her. In December, she will have to go back to court where the judge will decide if the order will continue on a permanent basis. Needless to say, this is all very harrowing.

In the court filing, Palmer documented a few instances of alleged physical abuse. For instance, he got so angry at seeing a bikini picture that she took, that he allegedly began assaulting her. “In the bedroom, he slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side,” Palmer said. “The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs. When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs.”

With each and every milestone her son crosses, Keke Palmer steps more confidently into her newfound role as a mother. While bringing life into the world certainly breathes a certain air into a woman, as does the “new body” the 29-year-old is flaunting in the weeks after welcoming little Leodis. She didn’t hesitate to flaunt her curvaceous figure on Instagram earlier this week, markedly thanking her baby boy for giving her the chest, hips, and booty of her dreams after nine months of pregnancy.

Elsewhere on social media, Palmer was celebrating the Easter holiday this past weekend, along with plenty of other celebrities. For the first time ever, she and her boyfriend Darius Jackson had a little one to spoil, though the 6-week-old seems to have slept through most of the festivities. On Sunday (April 9), the former child star’s feed lit up with some heartwarming snapshots featuring her man and their son, the entire family sporting seemingly coordinated looks in various shades of brown. “Happy Easter,” Keke wrote in her short and sweet caption. “Blessing to all!
