iHeartRadio Awards: Latto & Ice Spice Cross Paths On Red Carpet

The venues of award shows have seen plenty of celebrity catfights over the years, but at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday (April 1) evening, we were impressed with how two rap divas in particular handled themselves. While sauntering down the red (well, yellow) carpet yesterday afternoon, both Latto and Ice Spice looked stunning. The former showed off her thigh thighs in a pretty, deep red mini dress. Meanwhile, the redhead went with another all-black look, this time switching out her usually long, straight hair for some subtle waves.

In a video that’s making rounds on various blogs, we can see that the “Deli” and “Big Energy” hitmakers were in the same area at the same time, though it’s unclear if they actually saw each other. As Spice stops to pose for photos, a crowd can be heard screaming in excitement from beyond the barrier. As she turns to walk away, Latto comes into view, taking some snapshots before heading inside to mingle with other creatives.

Reactions to that on social media have been mixed so far, with some suggesting that Lil Mama would’ve been a better contender after channelling LeftEye in the 2013 Crazy Sexy Cool biopic. Regardless, Latto gave it her all as the iHeartRadio audience watched on. Other big moments last night included Beyonce accepting the Innovator Award from Stevie Wonder, as well as SZA taking home multiple trophies for her breathtaking sophomore LP, SOS.

Though she was calm when unexpectedly crossing paths with Ice Spice, Latto brought her signature “Big Energy” which we love so much to the stage when performing with TLC. In lieu of Lisa “LeftEye” Lopes no longer being with us, the 777 hitmaker stepped in to rap her bars in some of the girl group’s biggest hits. Meanwhile, Ice Spice has been stunning fans with her recent run of Instagram and Snapchat posts. In fact, when it comes to Snapchat in particular, she has been getting a bit NSFW. From videos that showcase her more sensitive piercings, to photos that focus on her butt, Spice has been getting provocative. Well, on Sunday for the Oscars, the artist got provocative once again, this time with a gorgeous see-through dress. Below, you can see that it was covered in black lace and you could see through areas such as the back and even around the chest.

For instance, that very same piercing that fans lamented about a few days ago is kind of visible here. As you can see in the comments section, fans were thirsting heavily after the superstar. Tems Goes Viral After Her Figure Had A Photographer Yelling “Holy Smokes”

She continues to get massive co-signs, and in 2024, fans are hoping for new songs and maybe even a new album. Considering all the hype she has right now, this would be a great way to capitalize.

In fact, Tems’ brilliance won her an invite to the Billboard Women in Music Awards. This awards ceremony took place last night, and Tems was front and center. In the video down below, you can see that the artist was on the red carpet with a gorgeous black dress. Photographers were lining up to get a glimpse of her, and they were asking her to pose in all sorts of directions. At one point, however, Tems had one photographer gawking at her figure. He even said “holy smokes” not once, but twice.

The third edition of the #GRAMMYsNextGen event was an event to remember. HotNewHipHop had a chance to attend the event and get the scoop on the innovative night. Held during the 2024 GRAMMY Week, the event’s intention was to honor the next generation of leading creators and professionals who are shaping the future of music. In a blend of music, art, and innovation the GRAMMY House in downtown Los Angeles turned into a beacon of excitement. Drawing people from all over to enjoy the event. In addition, the venue was set in the Arts District at Rolling Greens.

With its expansive warehouse and outdoor garden spaces, provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration of music’s future. The venue’s artistic details and aesthetics were complemented by the extensive GRAMMY House exhibitions. Featuring a centerpiece showcasing the Latin GRAMMYs’ landmark moments. #GRAMMYsNextGen transcended conventional party experiences, offering unique guest activations that set the event apart. Moreover, Mastercard’s ultra-chic secret garden bar space, complete with sustainable and recycled materials, created an environment that was both sophisticated and eco-friendly. Moreover, elsewhere in the event, guests were treated to a Dyson showroom featuring a hair styling salon. Attendees could receive free touch-ups for their hair.

“Is it just me… but where did all these tattoos come from?” one fan wrote of Doja Cat, a statement that prevailed in this specific TSR discussion. “when did she get all these tattoos?!? Lol are they real. Pls say no,” another chimed in. However, it seemed like folks just weren’t feeling the “Agora Hills” MC’s style this time around, but we don’t understand what the fuss is about. Everyone’s stylist had held nothing back as the red carpet was filled with amazing visuals. The Urban One Honors celebrate the “Best in Black”, which there is plenty to celebrate, especially from the last year.

As for the honors themselves, there was plenty awarded. Bailey received the Generation Next Honor. Meanwhile, Blige received the Entertainment Icon Honor. The photos were taken outside Bailey’s dressing room as she prepared to appear on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Fans were blown away by the new pictures. “It’s giving Mary J. “‘You wanted to turn UTOPIA into a musical — is there a plan for a Broadway show yet?’ Fuck yeah, it is,” he said. “‘You said you wanted to study architecture at Harvard — which city’s architecture inspires you the most?’ Not gonna lie, Tokyo is kind of fire … Rome is fire …Pompeii is actually amazing … Chile is actually cr*zy […] Brazil is actually fucking beautiful.”

Scott previously revealed that he wanted to take Utopia to Broadway during a recent interview with GQ. He explained: “I wanted the album to be a play. I was trying to take Broadway — because the thing about Broadway theaters, they’re kind of small — I was trying to bring the idea of Broadway to bigger venues. Either plays in stadiums or plays in arenas, but still make it feel like a Broadway bill.” He added: “I love Jeremy O. Harris. He’s amazing. We were exploring all these different ideas. I met with him. I met with a couple of different people. We just talked about the idea of it happening. I was still trying to figure it out,” he said. 2023 MTV VMAs Red Carpet: Nicki Minaj, Yung Miami, Megan Thee Stallion & More

One of the biggest evenings in music went down without a hitch last night (September 12), as the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) were the talk of the industry. Hundreds of stars descended on the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, to celebrate the year’s highlights in all things music and pop culture. This year was particularly special for the Barbz, as Nicki Minaj hosted the star-studded event.

Of course, MTV made sure to make Minaj feel as welcome as possible, as the VMA logo was even changed to her favorite shade of pink. The performances were also hot topics of conversations across social media, which included the likes of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion as a duo, Doja Cat, Lil Wayne, Future, Metro Boomin, Nav, Swae Lee, and a Diddy Global Icon Medley, led by Sean Combs, himself. Additionally, the Hip Hop 50th Medley saw some of the genre’s greats take to the stage. Doug E. Fresh, LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, and DMC were just a few who joined for an epic celebration. Minaj also lent her talents to the show, where she even previewed a track set to be featured on her anticipated forthcoming album, Pink Friday 2.

Prior to the event kicking off, the red carpet was sizzling with our favorite entertainers’ hottest looks. They were dissected, praised, and critiqued online—some more than others. Although Ashanti was flying solo for the night, she made sure her boo Nelly was present, with a picture of the couple printed on her clutch purse. Doja’s web-like gown turned heads, and Offset’s hair clips were a cultural statement, while Weezy and Lil Uzi Vert kept things simple—yet expensive—with their ‘fits. Saweetie’s bone-accessory gown had social media calling her dress Flintstone’s Fashion, but it was Yung Miami’s red carpet display that stole the show. Chloe Looks Gorgeous And Glamorous In New Photo Dump

Chloe is no stranger to a gorgeous fit and she shared another one with fans yesterday. She shared 7 new photos from the recent Culture Creators brunch where she and her sister were honored. Alongside the pair, Busta Rhymes, MC Lyte and more were honored as black leaders in the entertainment industry. Chloe sported an earth tone cutout dress with blended green and brown fabrics weaving around each other.

The fit drew most of the attention from fans in the comments of Chloe’s Instagram post. “Girl you are NOT playing with us and I love it!!” one comment reads. “Gorgeous my love,” read another comment from singer Bree Runway. Many left gif responses highlighting just how great not only Chloe’s dress was, but also her hair. “Y’all loc versatility needs to be studied!!! Wow,” one of the top comments reads. “I ain’t never seen nobody eat braids up like this whewwww,” says another.

This isn’t even the only time Chloe’s had a fit check get people’s attention in recent weeks. Last week she stunned fans with a gorgeous Tina-Turner tributing outfit in celebration of Juneteenth. The pictures in the post and the caption both also paid tribute to the legendary singer. She made specific references to Turner’s songs and famous photoshoots. The fit was made for Chloe’s performance during CNN’s special Juneteenth show. As a part of the concert, she teamed up with Nelly to perform his classic duet “Dilemma.” Her performance attracted some attention for the wrong reasons after fans online claimed she was over-singing.

Earlier this year Chloe released her debut solo album In Pieces. The project followed two albums she made alongside her sister as the duo Chloe x Halle. After releasing the album she took off on her first-ever solo headlining tour to promote it. Despite her popularity, the album had an underwhelming performance both critically and commercially. Both of them have seen her turning heads for reasons only Fox could. One of them was the highly anticipated premiere of The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp’s The Idol. For that, she covered her face in ghostly white makeup.

To contrast her pale complexion, Fox added black lipstick and donned a gown that, from afar, almost appears to be made out of plastic bags. It remains unclear exactly what the Uncut Gems starlet’s vision was. Nevertheless, she certainly had all eyes on at the Palais des Festivals today (May 22). On Sunday (May 21), the Italian entertainer stepped out for the Art of Elysium “Paradis” 25th-anniversary party. While her bottom half was covered by a flowing white maxiskirt trailing out in front of her, though her entire chest was on full display under a see-through breastplate. Maintaining some modesty, Fox used metallic nipple covers to hide her areolas, though from a distance it looks as though she’s left everything out in the open. Her hair was pulled back into a messy but elegant bun, ensuring that her midsection was the centre of attention.
