The world is finally getting a good glimpse at Nicki Minaj’s family after the superstar rapper took some personal time off after the birth of her first child. Despite Nicki having dozens of sons in the rap game, this is the first time she’s welcomed an actual son into the world. The last few weeks have brought tons of noteworthy moments from the Queen, which we outlined over the weekend, and while the Barbs still don’t know her baby boy’s name (all they have is his nickname, Papa Bear), they’ve gotten a decent glimpse at the adorable toddler on social media.

Always decked out in the latest designer clothing, Papa Bear is seemingly learning how to walk with his mommy Nicki and daddy Kenny. Draped in Burberry from head to toe, Nicki’s son rocked a diamond-clad chain in a new video and tried to put one foot in front of the other– however, as Nicki narrated, the little boy was pretty fed up at the end of his attempt.

“You ain’t trying to do all of that today?” asked Nicki, sharing a video of her son learning how to walk. “Hm? You’re not trying to do all of that today? Everyone bothering you? You had it? ‘Mom, I had it! Leave me alone already, please! Ain’t nobody got time for all of that, mama.'”

In the video, Kenneth Petty holds their baby, who seems restless as he taps his foot on the floor, trying to take a step towards his mother.

Luka Doncic has been phenomenal for the Dallas Mavericks throughout the playoffs. In the early stages of the team’s series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Doncic led his teammates to a 2-0 series lead and many pundits believed that the Clippers could very well get swept. In Game 3, the Clippers turned the tides and with Doncic suffering from a neck injury, they took advantage in Game 4 thanks to a blowout win.

Doncic scored 19 points last night and it’s clear that unless he scores over 30, his team simply isn’t going to win. In fact, Doncic was so frustrated throughout the game, he could be seen hitting himself over the head with a bottle, as his team continued to be pummeled by a motivated Clippers squad.

Now, the Clippers will get to head back to Los Angeles for Game 5, and it seems clear that they have all of the momentum right now. They are playing like a team that was projected to win it all, and the Mavs are finding it hard to keep up. However, if Luka can get back to where he was in the first couple of games, then the Mavs could be well on their way to retaking the series lead.

For a man who penned a song called “Oceans,” JAY-Z has harbored a notorious relationship with water — especially when it comes to water-based sports. Memes of his fateful dive into a pool have been immortalized within the internet hall of fame, and his old rival 50 Cent found himself getting in on the fun when Hov attempted to brave a jetski. Suffice it to say, the rap mogul has always appeared uncomfortable around water, and his fans have been quick to poke fun at his expense.

As many know, becoming a parent can change one’s perspective on life. For Hov, the birth of Blue Ivy Carter in January of 2012 drove him to face his fears, take the proverbial plunge, and learn how to swim once and for all. He explained as much during his appearance on LeBron James’ interview series The Shop.

“I didn’t learn how to swim until Blue was born,” he revealed. “There goes everything you need to know. This is a metaphor for our relationship. If she ever fell in the water and I couldn’t get her, I couldn’t even fathom that thought. I gotta learn how to swim. That’s it. That was the beginning of our relationship.” 

It’s a candid admission from Hov, who isn’t entirely known for revealing much about his private life in interviews. And while it’s clear that his aquatic abilities are a work in progress, JAY’s dedication to bettering himself late in the game is an undeniably admirable trait. Perhaps the next time he’s captured in-and-around a body of water, he’ll manage to avoid the meme treatment altogether, instead wowing viewers with a dazzling display of the front crawl.

Kanye West’s fashion endeavors have been incredibly successful over the past decade. Since starting his Adidas Yeezy brand, he has become a billionaire and he has absolutely no plans of slowing down. He has a lot of great shoes dropping this year and he also has some big collaborations on the horizon. Of course, the big collab that everyone is waiting for is with the Gap, which has been a staple of casual fashion for years.

There were reports that this collaboration could be dropping in June of this year, although for now, there still seems to be a ton of uncertainty surrounding the capsule. In an interview with the New York Times, Gap Inc.’s chief executive Sonia Syngal said there is no release date right now and that Kanye will be the one to announce any news.

Fans are curious as to what kind of pieces will be made available through this collaboration, and as Syngal noted, Kanye has already shown Gap some of the stuff he has in store. The Gap remains excited about what Yeezy will bring to the table and there is no denying it will lead to a ton of sales.

Blac Chyna has had issues with the Kardashian family for a minute, challenging them in court during a high-profile trial this year. Previously, the former video vixen was entangled with Rob Kardashian, having a child with the rarely heard-from celebrity. Since splitting with Rob, Blac Chyna has had nothing but negative things to say about his family, bashing them on numerous occasions. That continued this week after she called the family “ghetto” in an unprovoked attack on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of all the sisters together, including Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie, Chyna added some disrespectful commentary on her Instagram Story, insulting the girls.

“If they were black, they’ll say it’s Ghetto BUT ALL OF THEM ARE BABY MAMAs,” she wrote on the picture. 

All of the sisters except Kendall Jenner have had children. Kim Kardashian has four kids with Kanye West. Kourtney Kardashian co-parents her three children with father Scott Disick. Khloé Kardashian gave birth to baby True Thompson with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson by her side. And Kylie Jenner has a child with rapper Travis Scott.

The Kardashians didn’t say anything to provoke this sort of petty response from Blac Chyna, so it’s clear that there’s still a lot of bad blood between both sides.

Rapper 50 Cent and actress Vivica A. Fox were once entangled in a two-year relationship that seemed to be pretty serious. Despite them dating over a decade ago, Fiddy seemingly left a lasting impression on his ex-girlfriend, who referred to him as the “love of her life” during a recent interview. The multi-part sit-down between Vivica and VladTV went live with different sections of their interview being uploaded on different days and, thus, people didn’t get the full story right away.

When Vivica got done talking about her fond memories of 50 Cent, she praised the rapper’s current girlfriend, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines, and said that she hopes they end up getting married one day. “I’m glad that’s so over. He now has a girlfriend that’s beautiful, that’s hot, and I’m happy for him. I hope he puts a ring on her finger and they live happily ever after,” said the actress in a new clip from the interview. “I don’t wish him any ill will.”

Last week, Cuban Link shared some funny violin emojis in response to Vivica’s words, shading the actress by saying everyone needs to “respect our elders” after the situation started trending on social media. She’s singing a different tune now that she’s got the full story.

“Humorous comment. Bad timing that’s all,” wrote Cuban Link on Vivica’s post. “Now with knowing all of the information, it’s no [sic] so funny! I take the blame for the all the commotion! I apologize.”

As Kyrie Irving was leaving the court last night in Boston, a fan threw a water bottle at his head. Kyrie ended up avoiding the bottle although it led to quite the scene in the stands as security and offers looked for the perpetrator. Eventually, a man was escorted out of the arena in handcuffs all while being permanently banned from the arena. It was yet another incident involving rowdy NBA fans and as you can imagine, the players have had enough.

Now, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the fan in question will be arraigned on Tuesday, and he could be in for some serious punishment. Charania notes that the fan faces an assault & battery with a dangerous weapon charge, which is pretty severe. 

The reporter also said that a second Celtics fan was arrested as they allegedly assaulted a police officer. Needless to say, Celtics fans did not conduct themselves very well last night, and the entire league is paying attention. With incidents involving other NBA stars like Russell Westbrook and Trae Young, the league is looking into incidents all around the NBA, and it seems like they have no issue taking legal action.

Hopefully, the fans start to behave and we can continue with what’s proven to be an incredible start to the playoffs.

Posthumous albums always make for a fascinating topic of discussion for a variety of reasons. Depending on how far along an artist was in the recording process, it can sometimes run the risk of feeling disjointed or constructed after the fact. It also runs the risk of relying on an abundance of guest appearances, which can make the album in question feel like more of a compilation. 

In the case of Pop Smoke’s Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, executive produced by the legendary 50 Cent, it would appear that a delicate balance was struck. Though there were indeed several features lining the album, the album actually managed to feel like a Pop Smoke project, albeit one that found the late rapper exploring a variety of different hip-hop styles. 

While the album was a runaway success, absolutely dominating the charts to this day, it would appear that politics and behind-the-scenes developments were enough to shift 50 Cent away from Pop Smoke’s team. During a recent interview with Kris Kaylin, he opened up about the possibility of reprising his role on Pop Smoke’s next posthumous drop.

“Steven was originally Pop’s manager and the label person he was signed to,” explains Fif. “He spoke to me about the new record. I’m not sure if I’ll participate with that record. I just wanted to make sure that his record did what it was supposed to. My interaction with Pop was that he was looking at me like I could tell him the right way to go and everything would work based on what I was saying. It’s unfortunate that it actually happened. It’s like the other side of it — when I’m coming up early on, I’m so connected to the environment that everything in the environment I’m subjected to the same.

“So even with my success in music, I’m still subjected to everything the neighborhood is subjected to,” he continues. “Cause of who I’m standing next to. In Pop’s scenario, personally, he told me he wanted to take his mom to an award show. Outside of producing the record and having it perform well, I did all the promotion for that record to have it work. They would have put it out and you’d have to find it out of basic interest.”
